Regarding the WOB of Aesudan being distant cousin's with Hesina, I've decided that while I dislike the whole 'the one lowborn guy is actually also secretly noble blooded,' it's worth it because I am a strong enjoyer of the cringe elhokar x kaladin one sided crush, and this way we can get Elhokar drunkenly saying to Kaladin "hey have I ever mentioned,,,that in the the right — in certain lights, you look like my wife?? Has? Has anyone told you that you look like my wife?"

Captain Glower
A Stormlight Archives fanfiction
Summary: Kaladin has developed a reputation for being very stern while in uniform. Adolin has made it his mission to get him to break character
Meant to be platonic but could be perceived as shipping. Whatever floats your goat 😊🙃
SPOILER WARNING: TAKES PLACE AROUND OR AFTER OATHBRINGER
⚠️⚠️WARNING!!!⚠️⚠️ This is, as per usual, a tickle heavy fanfiction. No like, no read. Thank you 💙
Kaladin prided himself on his ability to command respect in any room he walked into.
This was, of course, a side effect of his reputation. His title of "Stormblessed" echoed through the halls of Urithiru, passing to and from it's inhabitants in awed whispers.
He stood tall, blue eyes locked forward as he stood at rest by the doorway to a small tavern that had popped up within the fabled city. He had been asked to make an appearance for their opening night, both to draw in customers and to keep them from getting too rowdy.
He wasn't the only soldier in the room, several striking blue uniforms speckled the crowd. He had given them permission to celebrate, seeing no reason to make them all guard the one entrance. So, he stood, quiet and firm, turning away offered drinks and watching his friends have fun.
A glint of gold sweeping the crowd caught his eye. A mop of blonde hair, speckled with Alethi black, peaked over the sea of people, eyes squinting as they searched for...
Him.
Adolin grinned, holding his drink up high as he cut through the room. He approached Kaladin with a knowing look on his face, standing beside him and mirroring the "at rest" pose.
"Hello, bridge boy."
Kaladin grunted at the nickname. Keeping his gaze forward. "Hello, brightlord Adolin." He said, keeping an even tone.
Adolin scoffed, falling out of the pose. "So formal," he laughed, moving to stand in front of the radiant. Kaladin kept his eyes forward. He was a good half-hand taller than the prince, so it wasn't hard to continue watching the bar.
"Was there something you needed, brightlord Adolin?" He asked, glancing down to meet his eyes. He had hoped his expression said "storm off" well enough that the older man would get the message, but instead he was met with one of his signature smiles.
"Kaladin, it's a party! Get out of your corner and have a drink!" Adolin said, gesturing to the room behind him. Kaladin shook his head.
"I have a duty here tonight. I was asked to be here for security."
"No," Adolin said, almost scolding. "You were asked to be here as a token appearance. No one is making you stand there and guard the door."
Kaladin sniffed, looking forward again. "No, thank you."
Adolin frowned, moving back to stand beside him.
Kaladin was content to stand in silence, pointedly ignoring the glances Adolin gave him. In all honesty, the radiant was not in the brightest of spirits tonight, he only came out for the event knowing that staying in his quarters alone would only make his gloom worse.
"Hey, Kaladin," Adolin started. "How many Herdazians does it take to change a gemstone lantern?"
Kaladin sighed, looking over at him. He almost let a smirk slip as he saw his friends excitement. "How many?"
"Doesnt matter how many, they'll always come up short."
The blonde snickered, smiling over at Lopen who teasingly called out an "I heard that!" As he struggled to peer over his tablemates.
Kaladin offered a smile, huffing through his nose. Adolin frowned. “Hey, is everything okay?” Adolin asked, voice shifting into concern.
Kaladin shrugged. “Just on duty.”
Adolin hummed, crossing his arms. “So, being mopey is how you captain a squad of elite supernatural soldiers?”
“Im not being mopey. This is my serious face. Im serious.”
“Convincing. But I don’t think even on more stressful missions you’ve glared at anyone so much.”
Kaladin shot him a look.
“See! Like that!” Adolin grinned. “Captain Stormblessed, more like Captain Grumpy.” He aimed a few teasing pokes into his friends side, not missing how he tensed in response.
Adolin continued his prodding, rambling to himself.
“Maybe not a threatening enough name. Hmm… snarl? No, too specific…”
Poke.
“Glare? No…”
Another poke.
“Ah! Yes! Captain Glower.”
In a great show of stubbornness, Kaladin remained where he stood, but his tan face tinged bright red. Adolin grinned, seeing Kaladin struggling not to crack.
Kaladin finally grabbed Adolins hands, pushing them away. He huffed, bringing back that malicious look, he stared the prince down.
Adolin raised an eyebrow.
“I think you know just as well as I do, you don’t scare me, bridge boy. I know your weakness.”
Suddenly, he wrenched his hands away from Kaladins grasp, lunging for his sides. Kaladin reeled back, falling into a startled fighting stance.
The tavern was packed, neither of them had much room to maneuver, only about an arms span away from the nearest person on all sides.
Adolin lunged again, bearing left, forcing Kaladin to dodge further into the tavern. Now a brightlord on a mission stood between him and the only way out.
“You know how to get me to stop, Kaladin.” He said, a little louder than Kaladin would have liked. The statement earned a few curious glances from the patrons, members of Bridge 4 calling out encouragements to his assailant.
I’ll have to make them pay for that in training. Kaladin thought, wincing as original bridge men started calling out spots. They knew well their captain would never back down from a fight, so they knew exactly why he was avoiding this one.
He slowly backed up, hoping it would be enough of a deterrent to let the prince drop it, but he ran into someone. A short someone.
Someone who recently got his second arm back.
“Oi, goncho.” Lopen said, quickly pulling Kaladins arms behind his back. Kaladins heart sank into his stomach. “I’ll forgive that little joke of yours earlier and do you this favor, IF, I can call on you for a favor of my own when the time comes. Deal?”
“Deal.” Adolin said, not hesitating.
Kaladin felt himself begin to panic, frantically pulling at his arms. Lopen didn’t budge. He whipped his head back and forth, trying to look pleadingly back at the traitor holding him.
“Lopen! Lopen, you know damn well I’ll get my revenge tenfold once this is over. Do you really want to be part of this?” He tried, doing his best to look threatening from his compromised position. Lopen shrugged, almost looking indifferent.
Kaladin looked forward again, Adolin having crept up while he was distracted. He had his eyes trained on Kaladins face, the terrifying gaze that proved he was a decendent of The Blackthorn sent a chill down the radiants spine. Not one of fear, no.
One of giddy anticipation.
“Come on, Kal.” Adolin teased. “Loosen up a bit! All I want is a smile.”
Kaladin gritted his teeth, pointedly looking away from Adolins hovering, wriggling fingers. He glanced to the side, catching the playful expressions on his friends faces as they watched. No one was going to rescue him.
He closed his eyes, dropping his chin to his chest and accepting his fate.
“So dramatic.”
Kaladin tried (and failed) to fold himself in half as fingers collided with his torso. He bit his lip hard, earning a laugh from the crowd as his muffled sounds of struggle escaped him.
He struggled to keep his breathing under control, huffing and gasping as Adolin explored for new, more sensitive, places. The beginnings of a ticklish smile pulled at his features.
Adolin was so dead when this was over.
Kaladin stubbornly kept his head down, not wanting to give Adolin the satisfaction of seeing him crumble.
Adolin was not deterred. He scribbled at his sides, drilled into his ribs, squeezed at any muscle that earned him a flinch or a gasp. It wasn’t until his hands wandered to his hips that he got any real prize. Testing, he dug his thumbs right into the bone.
Kaladin, honest to the almighty, squealed.
Kaladin arched his back, trying to throw off the hands that were firmly latched onto the spot that broke him. He threw his head back, nearly head-butting Lopen, as a stream of frantic cackling escaped.
Adolins face softened at the sound, a fondness warming him from within as he listened. Kaladins laugh was a happy thing, laced with hiccups and pitchy tittering, and Adolin was sure he would have been begging if he hadn’t wasted so much breath holding his reactions in.
Adolin switched spots again, mimicking the same hand motion as he dug into his lower ribs. Kaladin guffawed, not bothering to hold back anymore. The floodgates were open for good.
His knees gave out under him, Lopen barely keeping them both up.
“You know, you’d think if you’re trying so hard to get out of this you could use the Stormlight in any of the gemstones around you to pull yourself away.” Adolin said. Kaladin would have flushed red again if he weren’t already blushing from the tips of his ears all the way down his chest.
Adolin shifted gears, seeing his friend gasping for breath. He lightened his touch, gently scribbling and dragging his nails up and down Kaladins sides, then ribs, then back down to his stomach. Despite the change, Kaladin still giggled hard,
Adolin leaned closer, whispering in Kaladins ear. “Admit you’re loving this and I’ll stop.”
“What?! Storm off-“ the gruff response was cut off by a stream of high pitched giggling as Adolin used a lock of Kaladins own hair to flick lightly around his ear and jaw. The prince cooed as his shoulder shot up to try and protect the area.
Adolin kept at it, feathering around his neck, while the other hand returned to latch onto his hip again.
Kaladin shrieked.
“Using his own hair, gon? Now that is cruel.” Lopen said before gently blowing a stream of air across Kaladins other ear, laughing as he struggled to choose a side to protect.
“Hey, I had to get creative. It’s not like I’m going to cut it or anything, I’m just using it to my advantage.”
“Both of you shut up!” Kaladin cried between hysterics. Adolin feigned a gasp, complete with a slack jaw and a hand on his chest. “Well now you’re really asking for it, aren’t you?”
Kaladins eyes widened, shaking his head wildly.
“No! No! Wait! I’ll say it!” He begged, pulling up a knee to his chest to push Adolin away. Adolin pulled his hands back, putting them on his hips.
“Well? I’m waiting.”
Kaladin looked around. Most of his companions were ignoring the display now for the most part, having gone back to their drinks and card games. He sighed, looking up at Adolin, slouched in Lopens grasp.
“Fine. I like it, okay? I enjoy it. Now will you leave me be?” Kaladin meant to be more commanding, but it came out as a tired plea. Adolin smiled.
“You have to say the word.”
Kaladin looked up at him incredulously, Lopen snickering behind him. He took a deep breath.
“I like being tickled. There, happy?”
Adolin grinned, nodding, and gesturing to Lopen to let him go. He slumped forward, letting Adolin catch him and guide him into a nearby chair.
Kaladin breathed deeply, trying to get his heart to slow down. Adolin sat beside him, leaning against the table. He looked over at the next table, clearing his throat.
“Pay up, Rock.”
Kaladin started, sitting up straight and looking over as the large horneater stood and made his way to the bar, picking up a large drink of some kind and setting it down in front of the high prince. Rock grumbled, not making eye contact with his captain as he made his way back to his seat.
“I told you I could get him to admit it. Don’t be such a sore loser.”
Kaladin shot a deadly glare towards Rock.
“You told him?!”
The room broke into raucous laughter, and the former bridge leader slid down in his chair as if to disappear under the table.

heyyyyy so I’m writing a little Shakalodin hurt/comfort/fluff fic if you wanna read it :)
Summary:
Kaladin mentally and physically overdoes it, ends up running extremely low on Stormlight and on the brink of collapsing.
He goes to Adolin and Shallan’s rooms for help, but can’t help his thoughts from turning dark and the wretch from taking over. A story of my fave polyamorous throuple caring for, tending to and looking after dear Kaladin when he won’t take care of himself.
(This takes place sometime after RoW, but honestly this is self indulgent whump/hurt/comfort/soft gentle fluff for my own pleasure so who cares when it happens?)

I can finally show off my illustration for @cosmere-mini-bang! I've been working alongside the wonderful author, Rose, to bring their fic, The Fibonacci Sequence, to life. I mostly do character portraits so it was a fun challenge to figure out how to create a full composition with backgrounds and all. It took a little over a month to finish the illustration. 33 hours in total. Illustration progression below! Please read Rose's The Fibonacci Sequence and the rest of the Cosmere Mini Bang entries at the Mini Bang Gallery.

Obsessed with authors like Naomi Novik whose books always seem to say “no, fuck that, there is another way than cruelty, and we do have a choice to be decent, and not choosing it isn’t a burden but a cop out.”
Authors like Neil Gaiman whose books seem to say “we are all simply human, and that is so valuable. This world is worth more because we are in it, when we choose to notice and care”
Authors like Brandon Sanderson whose books say “We are all a little broken, and there is strength in not turning away from us, and there is pain in healing but there is also strength and hope.”
Seriously, these folks do more for my faith and hope in this life than any religion ever has. I don’t have the words to describe it yet but just. Warm cup of apple cider held close to the chest on cold autumn night?? That’s the best I got

“…and that’s how we discovered that we could use these fabrials to not only transmit sound through spanreeds, but record the sound to these gemstones as well” Navani beamed at the strange hawkish man.
“Abomination” Wit said incredulously.
“Wit, we’ve told you we get permission from the spren now, and they’re free to come and go as they please”
“That’s not what I meant. Music is beautiful precisely because of its ephemerality. It can only be appreciated in the moment of its creation and each time played a little differently. With this you’ve taken away its soul, stifling it to only ever repeat the same notes in an endless cacophonic procession.”
Navani wilted a little “So you don’t like them?”
“Like them?” Wit questioned, looking up from his attempt to record fart noises into the monophone. “It’s absolutely brilliant Navani!”

Transfemme kaladin/transfemme Adolin 14 or 16
Ooooh, excellent request! Trish, as could be guessed by looking at her library of fics, is always down to trans some genders!
(If you want to request one of these, the prompts are here)
Adolyn/Kal, rated Teen, 300 words
"Babe? You ready for our date?"
Squinting the darkness, clad in a fashionable crop top and shorts that may as well have been painted on, Adolyn tried to spy more of her girlfriend than just a lump under blankets.
The lump squirmed, and a groan emerged. "That's... today?"
Frowning, Adolyn crossed the room, stepping around discarded takeout containers and dirty clothing, and sat down on the edge of the bed. Choosing her words carefully, she finally asked, "Dysphoria?" Adolyn did voice training, and the time she'd put into made her voice smooth and traditionally feminine.
Dark eyes peaked out from the edge of the blanket, paired with the sort of wavy black curls that Adolyn knew many women would kill for. There were bags beneath Kal's eyes, but no signs she'd been crying. "No... or at least, not just that..." The girl's husky voice sounded empty, hollow. "I can't get up. Can't shave. Wasn't... wasn't transitioning supposed to help?" By the end, her voice was almost a whimper.
"..." Unsure what to say, Adolyn felt her hands moving before she'd thought it through. She peeled back Kal's black comforter, revealing the whole of her severe, frowning face. Sure enough, as she'd said, Kal's face was covered in rough whiskers, and she flinched under Adolyn's gaze.
"Sorry..." Her voice croaked, and only now did tears start to well up in the corners of her eyes. "I'm such a mess. Don't know how you put up with it."
Then, as though it was the easiest thing in the world, Adolyn leaned in and kissed her girlfriend.
Nothing long or deep or passionate, though she was certainly tempted to make it any of those things. No, Adolyn kissed her with lazy satisfaction, before whispering, "I don't 'put up' with anything. I love you. Now make some room, let's have our date."
Maybe an afternoon spend cuddling and talking and crying wasn't most people's idea of a perfect date, but Adolyn didn't care.
She was by Kal's side. That was enough.

There's a fanfic I read that I 100% thought was gonna be for the stormlight archives because the title is absolutely an idea that just hasn't been discovered yet. Also the fix itself is so freaking good and wonderful that I can't stop thinking about it on top of the kick ass title.
It's a Spider-Man fanfic and the title is "Death Before Inaction" and if you don't hear Kaladin saying that before doing something stupid and reckless then you need to reread the series please. But that fic title just gets caught in my head at least once a day.

continution of stormlight au 14, where kaladin keeps it together just a little longer:
Adolin: Storms! So both you and bridgeboy have been radiants—
Kaladin: surgebinders.
Adolin: surgebinders, this whole time? Unbelievable! Anyone else here secretly a surgebinder?
Renarin:
Shallan: I— your cousin. Jasnah. She didn't have a soulcaster. She was one.
Kaladin: Wait. I thought you said she died.
Shallan: Radiants can be killed! She had a sword through her chest!
Kaladin: I mean...I haven't tested that out specifically. But I've been shot a lot. And I was basically flayed alive. Teft nursed me back to life with a few diamond chips.
Adolin: Hah! The assassin did get you with a shardblade, didn't he? And you healed from it!
Navani: I knew it. She's impossible to kill.
Shallan: I— but I sank the boat. Oh stormfather...
Kaladin: I can also survive without breathing a while. 20 minutes easily. haven't timed my limits.
Adolin:
Shallan:
Shallan: I — wait, did you say you were flayed alive? What? Why?
Kaladin: It's — it's how the whole stormblessed title happened. Got strung up in a highstorm.
Adolin: Huh. At this point I was wondering if you got the title talking to the stormfather himself, ha!
Kaladin:
Adolin: ....Bridgeboy?
Kaladin: It. I mean during highstorms sometimes...
Adolin: I swear if you say you thought it was a hallucination I'm throwing you as far as I can. And I'm wearing plate right now.
Kaladin: It— it can't have been real.
Adolin: I'll do it bridgeboy. I know you can take it.
Kaladin: Fine. Anyway. That's how I got the stormblessed name. Sadeas ordered me outside, left upside down in a highstorm. Not fun, but I lived.
Shallan: So... she really could be alive...
Adolin: My captain of the guard, my bethrothed, and my cousin! Ha! Renarin, you'd tell me if you were a radiant — I mean a surgebinder, right?
Renarin:
Adolin: Renarin?
Renarin:
Adolin: Renarin...I...but why wouldn't you tell me?
Renarin (crying): I thought I was going mad. I was seeing things, I could hear screaming from my shardblade...
Kaladin: I hear that too!
Shallan: There's...something wrong with most shardblades.
Renarin: I thought it was...
Adolin (gripping Renarin's shoulder): Brother.
Adolin: I don't think hallucinations are real.
#my au#stormlight archive#stormlight fanfiction#stormlight au#Yeah I think after all this adolins just convinced that there's no such things as hallucinations#Hears about madman raving that he's a herald and is like DAD THATS OBVIOUSLY A REAL HERALD#I mean he's right but#Gets super concerned about death rattles and the family is like um that be too far#until taravangean reveal#Honestly as a reader theres no textual evidence for psychotic delusions that AREN'T in some way related to cognitive realm or God stuff#stormlight au no 14#cosmere#nevertheless cosmere

If ur still accepting those requests and if ur feeling up for it maybe number 39 with Dalinar and one of his boys perhaps :D(there is no rush or obligation at all I hope u have a good day!!)
Sure!!
I hope you don't mind both of the Kholin boys being in this, some good old fashioned family bonding!
Takes place somewhere in Words of Radiance.
⚠️WARNING!!!⚠️ this is a tickle drabble, don’t like don’t read. Thanks 💙 platonic/familial
From the prompt list: #39 “what did you just say?!”
The sentence pops up about a third of the way through.
Dalinar sat with his arms crossed, eyes trained on the dancing flame spren in the roaring hearth. It was a calm night, the breeze outside was just barely whispering past, the clear sky glittering with stars. All was quiet.
Aside from his heir blabbering non stop.
The blonde had won a small bout, one his friends had bet he would lose. The opposition was not a full shardbearer, so Adolin agreed to duel only with plate and standard swords. Having trained with a shardblade nearly all his life, the weight of a steel weapon felt alien in his hands, putting him at a disadvantage with someone who had only fought with steel.
Adolin was proud of the outcome, Dalinar could not fault him for that, but this was the third retelling he had heard in the past 24 hours.
The high prince glanced toward his sons, smirking as Adolin eagerly told his brother the story. He even managed to draw a single glory spren. Renarin listened, hanging on every word. It was nice to see them bonding, there wasn’t much time for that these days.
“…..and then, right as he swung for my head, I ducked down and slid right up to him! I swung my blade upwards and bashed him across the back, and he stumbled forwards right past me!” Adolins hair flipped wildly as he gestured, almost like he was acting out the fight in his head. Renarin leaned in, grinning widely.
Dalinar stifled a snicker, though they were both grown men he still saw them first and foremost as his boys. Apparently he hadn’t hid his amusement well as they both turned towards him.
“What’s so funny, father?” Adolin said, raising an eyebrow. “Nothing, nothing at all.” Dalinar said, not missing the defensive tone. “Just not how I would have done it.”
Dalinar Kholin was not known for his sarcastic literacy, but Adolin could tell when his father was teasing. Whether he chose to accept it was another story.
Adolin sneered in a playful way, crossing his arms, absently mimicking his fathers pose. “How would you have done it, oh wise and powerful Black Thorn?”
Dalinar shrugged, turning back to the fire. “I wouldn’t go to the ground for one thing, or swing blindly upwards. I would hit the man dead on, no reckless tricks.”
Adolin scoffed. "Reckless? That was a calculated move. I knew he wouldn't be able to react if I went to the ground."
Dalinar raised an eyebrow. At this age his son was challenging him? Didn't he know better?
Adolin stood. "Show me how you would have done it. Right here, right now. No blades."
Dalinar rolled his eyes, gesturing to the furniture. "Not here, son. This is not a sparring ring, we'll break something."
"Your back, maybe." Adolin said, moving a small table and his chair to the side. "Come on, show me. Or are you too scared, old man?"
Adolin grinned, Renarin widening his eyes and hissing at the insult. Something shook within Dalinar, something that hadn't awakened in a very long time.
"What did you just say?"
"I said," Adolin spoke, intentionally louder as if speaking to an elderly person. "Are you too-"
Adolin yelped and dodged as his father suddenly lunged for him. Dalinars chair clattered to the floor, the heed for the furniture long gone. He made a grab for his son, gripping the front of his Kholin uniform coat and sweeping his leg out from underneath him. The blonde yelped again as he was unceremoniously dumped onto the floor and grappled so he laid on his back, Dalinar using his bodyweight to hold him to the soulcast stone.
Adolin struggled, trying to squirm out from under his father. He reached a hand out, waving in a panic. "Renarin! Renarin, brother, help me!" He cried, the panic in his voice tainted by his nervous grin.
Dalinar almost let go of Adolin as a weight landed in his side, trying to push him over. Renarin huffed in frustration, shoving with all his strength. Dalinar laughed.
"It will take more than that to discourage me, you’ve just-“ Renarin leaped onto Dalinars back, trying to use his body weight to roll them both away from Adolin. Adolin cheered him on, still pushing at Dalinar’s shoulders to get away. Dalinar grinned.
In one fluid move, he tossed Renarin off of his back and dragged him to lay pinned beside his brother. The two Kholin boys struggled, one leg each trapped under Dalinar, who perched in a relaxed posture, sitting on their legs with one hand each pressed firmly into their chests to keep them down. He huffed.
“See? You cannot beat me.”
Adolin grinned.
“I thought you said you’d never go to the ground.”
“Oh, that’s it!”
Dalinar moved his hands, digging his fingers into their stomachs.
Adolin and Renarin jumped in unison, the elder trying to hold back laughter while the younger giggled wildly.
Dalinar grinned, easily shooing away their protesting hands. He remembered similar bouts way back when, the softer moments he shared with his boys when the weight in his mind wasn’t so heavy.
Shifting focus, he continued drawing bubbly laughter from Renarin with one hand while he focused on getting Adolin to break. Thinking back, he drew forth nearly forgotten information.
He dug roughly into Adolins ribcage, aiming for the dead middle. Adolin sputtered, trying to hold back. He gripped Dalinars wrist, fighting to remove the sensation, but the funny feeling spreading through his nervous system weakened him.
He gave in.
Adolin threw his head back, cackling. He covered his reddening face with his hands, pinning his elbows firmly to his sides to protect his higher ribs and armpits. Renarin continued to laugh, looking over at his brother and making a sound akin to betrayal.
“No!” Renarin cried, his struggling kicking up as his brothers composure shattered before his eyes. Renarin shrieked when Dalinars hand shot behind him, scribbling over his kneecap with startling accuracy. The accuracy of a warrior.
“You see, I would have gone easy on you.” Dalinar said, trying to keep a serious tone. “But you provoked me. You insulted me.” He paused to let them breathe, both gulping down air and watching their father with giddy expressions.
“You did the single most idiotic thing you possibly could do.”
Renarin wiped a stray tear from his eye, flinching as Dalinar reached down and took his spectacles off of him and put them to the side.
“W-what would that be, father?” Renarin said.
“You summoned the tickle monster into the body of The Black Thorn. A deadly combination indeed.”
They both screeched, falling into loud laughter as he dug in again, targeting a bad spot they all shared. He dug his thumbs into their hips, spidering across any spot he could reach with his free fingers. They thrashed and kicked, clawing at his hands and the floor to try and break free.
Until a noise broke his concentration.
He paused. Navani cleared her throat again.
Looking up, she stood in doorway with her arms crossed, looking at them with a fond expression through the flurry of laughter spren in the air around the three. Dalinar quickly stood, brushing himself off and adjusting his uniform, glancing at the two recovering on the ground.
“I’m not interrupting, am I?” She asked, smiling at her nephews.
“No, no you’re not.” Dalinar said.
“Because if I were, I would have asked if you wanted help.”
Dalinar perked up, Adolin and Renarin glancing over with shocked eyes.
She flashed her free hand, adorned with freshly manicured nails.
Sharp nails.
“No!” “Nope, absolutely not!”
The boys scrambled to their feet, running out of the room at break-neck speed, laughter spren and anticipation spren trailing behind.
Dalinar and Navani looked at each other.
Navani stepped to the side, nodding to the door.
Grinning, Dalinar gave chase. Navani followed at a walk.
It felt good to play like this again.

1/3 of the final chapter of my shakadolin fic is written! I’ve got Kal’s POV done and I’m HAPPY WITH IT! It’s incredibly soft and fluffy!
Now just the last two parts to go! I don’t want to rush this, so I’m gonna take my time to make sure it ends how I want it to.
But I promise it is on its way!

Oh, right I have an account, I can tell more people about a fanfic I wrote.
Oathbringer spoilers ahead!
Remember when we didn't get a normal reunion with Jasnah when she came to Urithiru? I SURE DO. This fanfic is my attempt at writing it.
