I admire people who can stop on the middle of the stairs and rest. I can't rest, for I'm too busy trying to remember whether I was on my way up or down to do something, or having finished whatever it was I was doing. My Stunt Double will never understand the angst that creates!

fruit fic asks!

🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated? I've got three strawberries in my inbox which is really sweet, but also I only have nine fics total haha. As far as the Ao3 stats go vs my own estimation....for sure Just Like Love. I reckon this is a pairing thing but if you're willing to give Hob and the Corinthian a try, check it out! I normally never reread my fics but I did a big read-thru the other day and I personally think it's one of the best things I've written.

🍑If you could make a connection between your favorite character and another work you care about (whether a crossover/fusion or a wonderfully “pretentious” literary reference) what would it be? How would it work? [gestures helplessly at Oaths] How-EVER that sort of happened on accident and I'm not actually a #1 Tam Lin Ballad fan or anything. It's just so Dreamling-coded I had to take a stab at it!

I loved Inception and I think the fandom totally deserves some Inception AUs or even proper crossovers/fusions. (Hob and Eames w/Hob as a mark?)

And of course they fit so easily into GO world - I firmly believe Crowley and Hob would be the greatest of buds.

For a deeper cut, there's two works that are dear to me that I could definitely see Dream in (altho Hob is my favourite character and I'll be the first to tell anyone that lmao) - Lee Pace's role in The Fall (2006), and the titular character of David Almond's book Skellig. Shock, surprise, etc., that Prince of Stories would take well to other stories....

🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic? I’ve made a lot of jokes on purpose that I think are quite funny (am biased) but this question has to be answered with the dad joke I entirely accidentally included in Flower King.
