Sometimes I struggle with the idea that I am replacable, I constantly compare myself to others and what they're doing. The voices get so overpowering I can't help but cry and contemplate giving up. Luckily I have people around me to bring me back.

This was commissioned for a video about AI Art, but was cancled so I figured it could work to show others that no matter how bad the thoughts are things will get better.

I do struggle to think of something morally equivalent that the StopAI people could do, since OpenAI aims its guns at everyone on the planet entirely from behind closed doors. Any ideas?

One of the most notable examples was the Greensboro sit-ins, where students protested the segregated lunch counter at Woolworth's by simply sitting in the lunch area every day until the counter was desegregated. Hundreds of other protesters joined them, the lunch area was packed until nobody could eat there, the media covered it, a boycott started, and finally Woolworth's caved and desegregated their lunch counters.

Note that the protest hit Woolworth's bottom line (yes, other diners had to go elsewhere to eat, but they weren't the ones most inconvenienced), Woolworth's had the power to directly meet the protesters' requests, and Woolworth's could be confident that doing so would cause the protesters to end their sit-in. Those three ingredients were crucial to the protest's success.

A protest that only messes with random people who lack the power to meet the protesters' demands is an onanistic cargo-cult of a protest.
