Curious question: does Thad interact with other clones in your opinion? What does he think about cloning and what are his thoughts on clones in regards to identity and being a clone of someone else? Does he seek out other clones or ignore them? To my recollection the prominent clones in DC besides Thad are Donna, Kon, Match, Slobo, and Damian Wayne has numerous clones.

//Yes!! Thad does interact with clones and happily so, or at least he enjoys getting to know other clones and bonding through the shared trauma experiences because that is a rarity for him.
Thad thinks poorly on cloning thanks to his own personal experiences as a clone such as how he was treated more as a tool/object/etc. than a person or a son, and how people have treated him because he's a clone. In particular, the comparison to Bart, how he can't seem to get out of his shadow, and how he's always connected to him or seen as secondary to him despite being his own person. An individual with his own life and wants and everything.
As for clones, Thad doesn't think negatively on other clones because they're clones. He empathizes with them. He wants to get to know them. He wants to form bonds with them because they're the only ones who truly get it. They have such a unique shared experience that only they understand.
He absolutely does seek them out when he's aware that an individual is a clone. As I've mentioned before he wants to foster bonds with other clones. Though of course like any relationship it might not work out just cause they're clones or they might not get alone with each other as people, but overall Thad does try to form relationships with other clones..
In conclusion: Thad would like to say, "Quit your job. Join my emo clone band."
#ask#stonefoxy#also damn they gotta stop cloning damian wayne. please and thanks.#ok i had to answer this one fast cause I loved it so much now i'm heading off.#Thad Thawne

[ I really should do a full writeup on my Fall of Apocalypse verse bc it's just this menagerie of second-gen rare pair (and your typical fare) kids and it was always such a blast to be like 'ooh what if THOSE TWO'

Cisco is draping himself dramatically across Al's couch.
At seeing that dramatic drape, Al actually looks kind of worried, but he bites his lip to stop the first thought from coming out of his mouth. He's that split second away from pointing out that they have a bed and wondering aloud if there's something wrong with the bed that he wasn't draping dramatically across that.
"Something up, babe?"

how does broose handle the damian reveal
Hi. I’m still trying to figure out the exact timeline I’m going this time around but for me, realistically, this Broose would be a lot better equipped to handle Damian. And I think that’s more credit to the Alfred and Bruce relationship as its written in this verse.
Alfred still can’t stop Bruce when he’s got a dumb idea in his head but he brings a lot of sense and reason to Bruce’s nonsense. And that ostensibly, this or my Bruce is written with so much Father energy that I think he’d be more equipped to handle emotionally the task of having a surprised child than the comics.
And I think its also because at least my Bruce hasn’t gone through the whole traumatic and unnecessary event of the whole Crisis event that adds further turmoil to the relationship. This bruce just hasn’t had those universe breaking moments. He’s just some guy fighting bad guys in Gotham and maybe around the world but that’s it.
So him finding out he’s had this child all along is more of a gift than what some comic writers might try to write as a burden. Because here is a man that is more in tune with his mortality more than ever, and understand what he might lose at any point and is not willing to squander it. Not anymore.
So I think it’ would be a fascinating venture trying to see him be the good father and actually more equipped to handle the kind of life Damian has had to come out of before they meet.

@stonefoxy asked: (Skaar @ Ry) Gabby and I need you to film our tiktok dance Mention of @huneibadger Accepting Random Asks
ㅤㅤ" Using Gabby's or my phone? " He doesn't have tiktok on his phone, not that it would take him that long to download. He's not all that into social media for himself, he'd been trying not to have it on his phone at all. But with Gabby wanting to have some fun with her friend, he doesn't see the harm. As long as he's not pulled into it, maybe if he doesn't check the idea won't be brought up.

❝ Tell me what to do to make it all feel better. ❞ (david)
"don't ask me how to make it feel all better for starters. what are you, my mom?" josh snarks, absently tossing the ball in his hand back against the wall. "and it's not like you're the one who... ah."
it's a shitty thing he did. disappearing.
"... maybe just... stay here for a bit?"
there were dozens of ways he could've slipped quietly away from the life. with the help of hindsight he could see that most of them did not include tossing his phone into the unforgiving brine.
... no. even then he'd known he was taking the coward's way out. there was nothing noble about it. part of it was self-preservation, terrified at what the x-men would do to him now that he was all death and no life. but the bigger part, the part that kept him up at night for all these years, was the looks upon their faces when he told them the truth.
fearing above all else that they would take it as proof that at his core he remained the same bigoted asshole who only came around because he suddenly had skin in the game.
he'd seen it once. the way all that love evaporated. and he's pretty sure killing kevin, no matter how far gone he was, trumped cheating on laurie.
he catches the ball, hesitating a moment before he sets it aside. it's the middle of the night and he's here, waking david up because he can't sleep, like they're back in highschool and david's still his security blanket. his person. sure, they see each other. with the buffer of coworkers, the imminent needs of the many greatly outweighing the importance of a conversation between two. it feels like too much to be here, taking up his time, when he hasn't had the courage to say a damn thing. it's selfish.
because he still is. in so many ways, david is the one who kept him from going off the deep-end. the mental image of his disappointment was enough to keep him from deviating too far to the dark side, the answer to the question of what would david do? giving him the strength needed to stand up for what was right.
even when everyone was telling him he was wrong.
"... i'm sorry." his empty white eyes search david's face, noting all the ways he'd changed in the years since they were last like this. he's grown up just as much as josh has, if not more. handsome and more self-assured, more confident in his own skin, whereas josh has never felt more disconnected from his.
"i wasn't necessarily in hiding, but - i mean, i guess i was. from... you, and nori, 'n julian. but i knew - i knew you were trying to find me," he glances down at his hands, drumming his long fingers against the counter. thinks about how many times he'd sensed david in his vicinity, and how despite how badly he wanted to run to him - he'd turned on his heel and sprinted in the opposite directing.
"... it's fucked up that when you did, i was in a coffin... and when i..." his brows pinch downward. the memories associated with that too painful to touch. "... its messed up i let you just keep thinking i was dead, 'til i couldn't anymore. and it's messed up that you're here and i'm still, like, essentially avoiding you and everybody else until i can't and..."
a pause. josh rubs at one pale eye with the heel of his hand, thankful that his powers keep him from bursting into a blubbering mess. what kind of jackass friend is he? busting into david's place in the middle of the goddamn night and throwing a pity party.
"... i'm just really, really sorry, man. i'm the one who needs to make it better."

"Hmmmmm... pretty sure I look like this because of my parents... why, is it illegal?"
He's teasing for sure. It's not really a crime to look the way he does.
... But she is welcome to arrest him anyway! In the fun way, of course.

" that looks like it hurts. " (slobo)
@stonefoxy | blood, blood, gallons of the stuff !
He had to rest for a second or two, as he tended to his stab wound. A goon got his lucky shot. Congrats. Too bad he didn't get to celebrate that long, considering Tim knocked him unconscious.
"I'll be fine. I've had worse." He said, bandaging his bicep.

(Bianca) "Nico, are you alright?" She tucked her hair back and stood up a little straighter. "Don't worry," she hoped her voice was reasuring. She wanted to hug him, but it didn't feel like the right moment. "Everything is going to be fine." Was it?
Nico made a face at her fussing even as his shoulders bunched nervously as well. They'd been at that hotel for a long time and now it was finally time for them to head back to school. I'd been a long drive to this new school, first bus than train then another bus and then a car, traveling with one of the lawyers working on their father's orders.
But they were finally there, at this military school in the middle of nowhere. And it would be fine, right? They were together, so they'd be fine. " 'M alright," Nico replied. "Maybe we'll make friends here?" He'd tried talking to the lawyer on their journey and hadn't gotten very far.

Also what are your thoughts on the fact that Young Justice did the "clone infilitrates the team and no one realised it wasn't actually the real teammate" thing twice? First Kon, then Bart, were replaced and no one was the wiser!
Accepting || Send me or my muse curious anons @stonefoxy
THIS!!!!
This is something I find so interesting! The fact this specifically happens at least twice (technically 3 or 4 times considering Match impersonates Kon twice, albeit he was jokerized the second time, and there's also a one-off gag where the whole team except Bart is replaced by robots and Bart doesn't notice) within the same team and that in both instance no one even noticed or realized that their friend was replaced is WILD.
Some scattered thoughts on this.
Wow how KonBart this is. They can bond over this potential shared trauma. (Sorry, sorry, I just really have them on the mind like that.)
It's really fucked up that the team didn't notice either time. Like it makes you wonder what their perceptions of Kon and Bart are. Like how is it they view their friends that allows them to assume Match and Thad are actually Kon and Bart. While, yes, Match and Thad are trying hard to make sure they are imitating their respective genetic originals as best they can, they're not exactly perfect. Though just considering these two times where there is a significant period of time where Kon and Bart are replaced (Kon was replaced for months according to YJ: Sins of Youth Secret Files. Bart is replaced probably weeks or a month, I assume,) it's a stab in the gut. It certainly has to be for them. We see it with Bart and how he discussed with Carol how he thinks people liked Thad's version of him better than they do Bart himself, though with Kon we don't really get to see the impact Match's impersonation does to him. He's angry at Match when he confronts him, but beyond that there's no discussion of how the long-term impersonation affects him. But I assume it's not good considering Match easily replaced him without anyone noticing until Kon showed up. Though at the same time I can also see Kon also being more pitying toward Match because Match is still following orders and being forced to impersonate him than being an individual. But who knows? Additionally, I think it's also interesting that this occurs with the two characters who probably have the biggest identity issues of the YJ group. One of Kon's major themes in the Superboy comics/surrounding his character is the theme of identity and defining who he is not only because he's a clone, but also as separate from Superman, as a hero, and as an individual. While Bart has to deal with identity in the sense that he is from the the future, his behavior is atypical from society of the 21st century, and that he is being forced to conform to more neurotypical behaviors or to become "normal" from a societal standpoint rather than being allowed to embrace his individuality and differences. I don't have anything substantial to say, but it's just an interesting coincidence.
Overall, I don't think there's a lot I can say other than these teens as a group are either a bit oblivious at times or very trusting. I think it might be a lenient opinion of the situation, but considering at most it happens 3 or 4 times (depending if you want to count the robot thing) and they don't really accuse or question each other then I think it speaks more to how they view and trust each other. They're so trusting of each other that the idea of impersonation doesn't cross their minds immediately, which is probable a "nice" thought/kind interpretation of the situation
#ask#stonefoxy#There's also that one-off gag where Bart doesn't notice where the team was replaced by robots once. These kids get replaced a lot.#I managed to squeeze actual thoughts outta my sick brain woo \o/#feel free to reblog or add on if anyone has thoughts

Kon looked at Slobo and then back to Bart. He was the general Bart interpreter but even he was having trouble with this one. He thought about what Bart said, "I want to find gentleman's sausage and eat it." like okay it could have been a sexual innuendo. But Bart had said it such conviction Kon was leaning towards that he was looking for a type of food. "You know I think this might be a food thing. You remember when he kept telling people that his 'meat was vegan friendly' and for hours we all thought he was talking about his dick?" Kon asked looking at Slobo hoping he was following. "But then he bought in tofu dinosaur nuggets? I think something like that is going on. But I don't even know what a gentleman's sausage could be."

"Oh, sweet!" Al planted a quick smooch on Cisco's lips. "Thanks, babe, you're a darling."
Alastor got a plate and loaded it with some of the food on the counter and returned to the couch where he could lounge and munch on it. Really good stuff.
