I’ve seen some people thinking that the Mighty Nein cartoon isn’t adapting the texblade accent for Fjord, but the clip shared takes place pre-campaign in which canonically he wasn’t using the accent yet. ANYWAY, here's some more of the fwb fic because it's the love of my life right now and nothing else in the world exists

“God, you really–It’s just so easy to get you horny.”

Buck wants to laugh at the way Eddie dramatically drags out the word so and widens his eyes to illustrate his point, but the laugh gets stuck somewhere between Buck’s gut and his throat, so he settles for a pout, poking out his bottom lip and grumbling even as he shamelessly leans back into Eddie’s touch to encourage Eddie’s petting.

“M’not gonna apologize for my very healthy an’ virile sex drive.”

Eddie makes a face while mouthing virile to himself.

Buck ignores him. “And what am I–what am I supposed to do, then? A hot guy blows smoke into my mouth and plays with my hair and what? What am I gonna do? Not–Not get hard? Don’t think so, bud.” He giggles to himself and bats his hand against Eddie’s broad, beefy chest in a gesture meant to communicate something but Buck finds himself not really knowing what that is.

Oh well. Better things to focus on. Like how warm he is and the thick stickiness in his veins and the lovely pressure in his chest and the blurriness of the world and the vividness of Eddie Eddie Eddie.

“A hot guy, huh?” Eddie asks with every bare inch of his mouth and teeth on display. It only barely distracts Buck from the darkening blush on Eddie’s cute cheeks. Buck kind of wants to gnaw on them. Maybe they really taste as sweet as they look.

“Mhmm,” Buck hums in answer, leaning forward until their foreheads touch and sighing a little at the contact. So many points of contact. Eddie’s hand in his hair. His hand on the curve of Eddie’s thigh. Their brushing brows and shared breaths. So good, but still not enough.

“That’s you,” he whispers while tipping his chin up to knock their noses together, saying it like it’s a secret Eddie should already know.

Eddie’s laugh is big and boisterous and beautiful.

The physicality of it fans across Buck’s jaw and he opens his mouth to get a taste of it, panting a bit just inches from Eddie’s own mouth which is split wide open. There’s no taste to it but oh how it settles comfortably in Buck’s chest, snuggling up against the pride that blooms boldly there.

If Buck never does anything else in the world other than make Eddie laugh, then it’s time well spent.

Nana isn’t a very emotional or open person so she tends to keep secrets but over time if you guys get that close she’ll vent to you

If you’re taller he’d be happy if you didn’t make fun of his height though he does tend to light heartedly joke abt it

He likes to go to you for fashion inspiration and vice versa

The bass | Shin

After the whole Nobu moving to Tokyo fiasco all you guys need is a bassist and drummer

Nobu sending you a picture of Hachi’s little drawing of the 3 of you on the band poster

You met up with them at the studio to practice with Shinichi on bass

For such a young kid he was pretty good player (granted your only like 6-7 years older)

Being confused right alongside him when everyone stopped playing

You, Shin, and Nobu are like the 3 musketeers

You- Oldest, Nobuo - Middle, Shin - Youngest

Shin snatched your clothes on a daily basis much like he does with Nobu

Unlike Nobu, you don’t care

He stays over at your place more than you’d like to admit

He basically lives there

He would definitely go to you about the Reira/Layla situation

Has mini fashion shows in your room with a fake runway and everything

You guys play games together on your console

He relaxes and is actually a kid when he hangs out with you

Has you paint his nails

He has moments when he storms off if you bring up a certain subject but he never stays mad for long and shows up at your door

Likes to go eat at new places with you especially if you’re paying for it

Bit a of spoiler kinda but later in the manga when he got arrested you’d be the only one to visit him

You definitely shat yourself when you first met Yasu

He’s the responsible one in the band so he’s like a father figure to you especially if you didn’t have one

You two probably get to the studio first before anyone else

He’d always let you talk/rant to him if you ever needed to

Would be surprised if you remembered his birthday and got him a gift

If you smoke he’d go on smoke breaks with you

If you don’t smoke he’d make sure to hold his cigarette away from you/out of your face

Would teach you various card games

If you didn’t want to watch a movie alone he’d watch it with you
