A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

I downloaded this photo from Mountain Dew’s Facebook page. This is Chase Elliot showing that he supports Mountain Dew wholeheartedly. I think the message that they are trying to portray is that someone that a lot of people look up to and love enjoys drinking Mountain Dew Zero so maybe they would too. A lot of people in the comments talked about how they love Chase Elliot, so I am sure that that could be one reason why they would give it or have given it a try. 

This image is from the Saint Louis Cardinals Twitter page. I think this is a very powerful image because it shows the hearts of the players and employees of Busch Stadium. I think this image has a similar message as the last one because to me, it says, “We are doing it and so should you.” Professional Baseball Players are some peoples’ biggest role models and if some people weren’t following the advice of the CDC or appreciating the people on the front lines, they might do it now. A lot of people in the comments seemed really grateful that they were advertising the message so I think they now have an increased respect for the Cardinals.

This photo is from H&M’s Instagram. I picked this picture because I think it conveys a strong message that some don’t necessarily agree with. I see this picture as them saying that it’s okay to be different. People can have different styles, different skin colors, and different personalities, etc. and still be friends. As I was scrolling through their page, I noticed a few other pictures that could have been intended to share the same message such as same-sex or biracial relationships. H&M clearly isn’t afraid to stand up for what they believe in.
