I’ll put my rambles under the cut as usual, but I wanna recap one detail I’ve talked about before: I chose 'Happstablook' for Swap MH Mettaton's in-universe name because it isn't canonically his deadname, but it is the only name within canon for his ghost form. I specifically do not want to characterise him as being unhappy remaining a ghost, hence it's a name he chose for himself rather than a deadname he never changed from, and his physical appearance changed over time to a form he's happier with.

as for Napstabot, it's incredibly common to see people misgender Napstablook in both the original game and AUs, so please remember that NSB uses they/them pronouns only!

anyway, ramble time:

I talked more about NSB’s box form (affectionately known as Napstabox) in this post, but the main things I want to note from that are 1) They hover by default but can switch to a wheeled mode, as another design reversal of UT Mettaton, and 2) Their square-shaped headphones accidentally became a terrible fashion trend across the Underground after the normal headphones were already built into their TRU form, and they are Very Upset about being off-brand.

Much like a few of my nicknames for the Swap MH cast, calling NSB's EX form 'TRU' wasn't intended to be the permanent name but it just kind of stuck somehow. 'NSB' is pronounced as each individual letter, while 'TRU' is pronounced like the word 'true'.

I’m aware of alternative names for Mettaton’s ghost form such as Mett/ablook or Mettacrit, but the former doubles as an unfortunate ship name and the latter I’ve only really seen used in AUs which do not swap personalities, and I didn’t want to step on any toes by using it. Personally I’m attached to calling him Happstablook by now but I’m aware the name can be uncomfortable for some in the fandom, so feel free to just call him Glamour in that case!

My knowledge of music terminology and genres is absolute garbage, but I imagine Napstabot is fond of electronic music, particularly chiptune and electro swing. Most of their songs are instrumental, as although they can sing, they usually prefer not to. In post-pacifist they start featuring various guest singers for their new songs and albums. still debating whether or not I’m self-indulgent enough to make it canon that Neptune sings a couple of their songs.

I love the headcanon that the UT ghosts can hear narrator Chara (based on how UT Napstablook directly replies to the check description about them), so both NSB and Glamour can hear Frisk's narration and comments to Charity.

Speaking of ghostliness - despite the spooky ghost branding, monsters still don't actually know that NSB is a ghost in a robot body and think it's just their aesthetic.

I'm still planning on giving NSB a Mettaton NEO-like form for the non-canon geno route, my ideas for it are just slow-going :D;; I can at least say I've decided on naming that form 'Napstabot SUPERNOVA', because a supernova being a dying star fits too perfectly to pass up ahah

Frisk & Monster Kid’s character sheet will be coming within the month and that is a promise, I am so ready to be done with making these big time-consuming references :’D

All fandoms have their......issues. I don’t heavily interact with fandoms but the other cosplayers I’ve met at cons were pretty cool

Oh geez...playing the pacifist route makes me feel warm inside, but...I admit I’ve done about fifteen genocide runs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

7. Why did you decide to play UT?

Long story short, I was having an anxiety problem and I needed a distraction. I started playing and fell in love. Since then it’s been my go to for panic attack prevention.

The Mettaton battle is lots of fun. I do enjoy fighting Sans, though...I’m actually better at fighting him than Undyne the Undying

TECHNICALLY it was the hard mode end at the end of the ruins--I knew Frisk’s name from tumblr and named the fallen child that first. I then proceeded to grind since it was hard to survive. Then I reset and got the no-kill neautral ending before the pacifist end.

Patience lived with Toriel for at least a few months. The last of them fell a long time before Frisk did--long enough that most monsters Frisk encounters hadn’t been born/were very young when 6 fell, since many monsters don’t recognize Frisk as human.

Here’s my thougths on episode 4x03 (The 100)

Okay so it’s the second time I’m doing this kind of post (the first time was with Supernatural) and I’m sorry, I know it’s a bit personal and not everybody can relate with it… But I NEED to write down my thoughts. Actually I won’t be able to sleep until I’ll say what I have to say. Sorry about this VERY long post, though. It’s just that I have SO MANY feels from this episode…

Okay, I wanted to start by talking about the Bellarke scenes, because GOD IT WAS HUGE and it was just perfect… But then I decided to start with all the non-Bellarke moments because the episode itself was really important and I NEED to talk about it too! :)

FIRST OF ALL, THE WOMEN IN THAT EPISODE! Is it just me or where they actually wonderful? Clarke, Abby, Raven, Octavia, Indra, Luna, Emori, Indra’s daughter… They were all so good! It’s one of the reasons I love this show so much: the women are just amazing.

First, RAVEN! Guys, she nailed it! Thanks God, she’s in charge. Thanks God she’s here. Thanks God she even exists! In this episode, we got to see her taking important but terribly hard decisions about rationing. We got to see how difficult it was for her. And let’s just be clear on something: she shouldn’t have to do this. But she did and I think she really tried to do her best. She was so strong and I love her!

Then, I wanna talk about Abby! I really missed Abby being a doctor (instead of the chancellor). It was really nice to see her trying to cure the Grounder, to help them survive, to look for a way to save them… It felt just like the old caring Abby. It felt like Abby from season 1!

However, I’m seriously scared about OCTAVIA. She’s slowly becoming this cold-blooded killer and I’m not sure about how I feel about this. I know Lincoln’s death affected her very deeply and her natural answer to this is violence. But now, she’s clearly taking pleasure in fighting, hurting and killing people… And I don’t know, it’s kinda sick. I don’t want that for her, even though I still love Octavia.

BUT CLARKE. OMG CLARKE. She was perfect. Really, how can people not talk about her? ? ? Once again, she had to make a terrible and impossible choice. HOW WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO DECIDE WHO GETS TO LIVE AND DIE? Like, yeah, no pressure!

LUNA’S BACK! Honestly, I was so glad to see her! She really gave me hope! The minute I saw her, I was like “She came back for a reason, I bet she’s the key to everything” and well, here we are XD Also, I loved the scene where she sang the lullaby for the little girl, so sweet :’)

INDRA’S DAUGHTER WAS SUCH A BADASS! Like mother, like daughter I guess.

Emori being jealous of Ontari was just priceless! But seriously, she was right to question him about Ontari. Murphy can’t avoid the subject forever. I think they’ll eventually have to talk about this more seriously if they want to keep going with their relationship (and I hope they will).

BIG PLOT TWIT : They actually found out they only had two months (instead of six) before the radiations start to kill them all. Yeah, because you know, it wasn’t hard enough. Six months was way too easy.

Jaha coming up with a plan was just so ironic. I was 100% sure it was going to fail. I wanted to have hope but in the same time I was like “It’s way too easy”. I mean, it’s The 100. The expectations are quite low. 

“Do you think I deserve this for refusing the flame?” “No one deserves to suffer”. I always love to see the evolution of Bellamy since the whole “whatever the hell we want” scene. We’re talking about the guy who was ready to cut Clarke’s hands to get what he wanted…

ALSO, CAN WE TALK ABOUT MURPHY? Let me be clear on something: I love Murphy. I used to hate him in season 1 because, well, he was a jerk. But I really loved his character development and I loved how they showed us he had empathy for others, deep down. Tbh, first, I loved the whole medicine scene. I really appreciated when Abby and Jackson referred to John’s father. I thought it was a really good idea and everything felt perfect!

But I feel like they’ve ruined everything with the end of the ep!

Basically, we understand it was just a manipulative strategy in order to look good enough to be on the list… Okay. I know the world is ending. I know he wants to save his ass, which is understandable. I know he also did to protect Emori. I KNOW ALL OF THIS.

BUT MURPHY CAN ALSO BE NICE AND KIND FOR NO REASON. STOP MAKING HIM LOOK LIKE A SELFISH BASTARD WHO ONLY CARES ABOUT HIS OWN INTEREST. MURPHY ISN’T LIKE THAT ANYMORE. HE CAN BE GOOD. HE CAN HELP PEOPLE JUST BECAUSE IT’S THE RIGHT THING TO DO. MURPHY IS A GOOD MAN. STOP MAKING HIM LOOK LIKE A JERK.

“From the ashes we will rise” I REALLY HOPE THEY WILL!

OKAY. Now I wanna talk about all the Bellarke moments cause it was the main reason I couldn’t function after the end of the episode. It was just so obvious. Who can possibly deny it, now? Like seriously, IT WAS EVERYWHERE. I don’t even know where to start, tbh...

“I won’t be inside” “YES YOU WILL” About two minutes after the beginning of the episode, we already have a HUGE LINE! Basically, Clarke just said she was ready to write Bellamy’s name NO MATTER WHAT. This is so important because she can’t even imagine a world without him. Like she hasn’t even started to think about the list, but she already KNOWS Bellamy will be on it ANYWAY.

Btw, I love how Bellamy just agreed with Clarke any time she suggested something. Like “Clarke wants to do that? Okay. I’m in.” x)

I really enjoyed seeing Bellamy and Clarke working together, going on missions, trying to figure out a way to save everyone again… It kinda made me think about season 1 when they were still trying to handle everything at the camp. Well, Beyond the shipping thing, I’ve always thought they made a really good team (and they still do).

I just love how they couldn’t stop flirting with each other throughout the episode. Like the world is literally ending, everybody’s gonna die in two months, but they don’t care x) niiiiiiiice guys x)

DID YOU GUYS NOTICE THE LITTLE SMILE THEY’VE EXCHANGED IN THE FOREST? Clarke said something, they both turned their head to face each other and they genuinely smiled… It was so damn cute! 

“She’s lucky to have you. You keep her centered.” “You got it backwards.” EXCUSE ME? DID BELLAMY JUST ADMIT HE WAS LUCKY TO HAVE CLARKE? Did he actually just say SHE was making HIM a better leader, and therefore a better person? Guys, if that’s not love, then I don’t know what Is, frankly.

I can’t even-

FIRST OF ALL, BELLAMY SLEEPING IN THE SAME ROOM AS CLARKE ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? HOW IS THIS EVEN REAL ? ? ? I CAN’T EVEN BELIEVE THIS IS CANON! It just sounds like a fanfic or something. I can’t believe they made it canon that Bellamy sometimes sleeps in Clarke’s desk. Bellamy didn’t even mind sleeping in front of Clarke. He didn’t care about looking vulnerable in front of her because he just trusts her so much. Seriously, guys, their love is just unquestionable now. Who’s gonna deny it, really? 

CLARKE WATCHING BELLAMY SLEEPING ? ? ? ? ? HOW IS THAT EVEN CONSIDERED AS A PLATONIC MOVE ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? HOW ? I DON’T GET IT, LIKE THIS WHOLE SCENE JUST SCREAMED “LOVE” TO ME. Frankly, it made me think about a scene in season 1 (or 2, idk) when Bellamy was watching Clarke sleeping next to a bonfire, in the forest (it was so cute btw :3).

OKAY ABOUT CLARKE WRITING BELLAMY’S NAME… It’s so important, guys. The thing is… Clarke already wrote 98 names. We don’t get to actually see the names, but I’m guessing she must have made rational choices. I’m assuming she picked people, not because SHE loved them and wanted them to live, but because these people could actually be useful and necessary to survive in the future. I’m guessing she didn’t just save her friends and family. I’m guessing she tried to be impartial and neutral. At least, I think she did. 

Knowing Clarke, she probably did.

But then, she saw there was only two names left. She looked at Bellamy and she ADDED his name. IT WAS EVERYTHING BUT A RATIONAL CHOICE. It was 100% personal and emotional. It was Clarke listening to her heart like “Screw it, I’m saving the man I love. YES, for once in my life, I’m gonna be selfish and I don’t care because I love him and I can’t handle the idea of him being dead.”

Don’t get me wrong : Of course, Bellamy would be useful in the future too. But at that exact moment, it’s not why she wrote his name. She did it because she loved him. GUYS, IT’S NOT NOTHING. Deciding who was on that list meant deciding who could live or not. It was a tough choice. Saving Bellamy meant that somebody else couldn’t take his place. BASICALLY CLARKE AGREED TO SACRIFICE ANYONE ELSE’S LIFE IN ORDER TO SAVE HIM. THAT IS HUGE.

And then, she realizes there was only one name left. And she wanted to write her name so that Bellamy and her could survive together. But in the same time, she knew she couldn’t be selfish twice. Like she already made a personal choice by saving Bellamy. She couldn’t do it again. She couldn’t save herself. THAT’S WHY SHE STARTED CRYING.

BELLAMY ACTUALLY WAKING UP BECAUSE HE HEARD CLARKE CRYING ? ? ? WHAT NOW ? ? ? DID THIS GUY HAVE AN ALARM IN HIS HEAD OR SOMETHING? Can you imagine it though? “Wake up now, your soulmate needs you” XD

Did you guys notice he didn’t even look at the list; he didn’t even ask what was wrong. He just stood up and immediately understood what was happening. Because Bellamy knows Clarke. He just understands her. He doesn’t need her to say anything. 

“If I’m on that list, you’re on that list.” WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT ? ? WHAT ? DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT ? ? ? ? DID BELLAMY JUST SAY HE COULDN’T LIVE WITHOUT CLARKE ? GUYS, IT WAS HUGE. Probably the best Bellarke line! Bellamy just couldn’t even consider a world without Clarke. He didn’t want to even imagine surviving without her.

“Write it down or I will.” I love the fact that it wasn’t just words. He really wanted her to write her name on the list and he was ready to do it if she couldn’t. AND HE DID. Also, I can’t get over the fact that Bellamy wrote Clarke’s name IN ALL CAPS #i’m dead

And of course, Clarke looking at Bellamy as he walked away was just so romantic. Like I don’t know how people can just ignore the love between these two. Her eyes just yelled “Stay with me”. I still don’t understand how people can’t ship it. I’m literally dead by the feels!

OKAY. I think I’m done, now. Again I’m so sorry, it was such a LONG post but I had a lot to say. It was a really good episode! But yeah, I’m sorry about that giant post x) Congratulations if you read the whole post! XD
