i recently changed my league's summoner name as Riot changed all of their players name to their Riot ID'S and i got it changed to something Pyke related, wich oddly made the randoms i play with ask questions on champ select or just say silly stuff wich is fun. Didnt take screenshot but it will help us for the topic today: What the fuck is even Pyke.
It is mentioned that he is an undead, but that he is also a ghost, but that is also technically just a human with supernatural powers. So lets see.
Reasons why Pyke is an undead/zombie (by pop culture meaning):
Technically came back from the death so, good
Has a bloodflow, althrough there are some zombies in some media that do not have one.
There's that one thing people often say that Pyke is always cold to the touch, but i normally dont take it as granted cause i dont remember or recall it being said on canon. But i'll take a grip on it for today.
Reasons why Pyke is a ghost (or some type of ghost mixed with undeadness i guess):
Can go through walls and structures.
Can swim on air, dissapear, vanish, etc.
Not sure but there might be a possibility that canon Pyke does also see ghosts around him. Else its just him recalling his trauma and his killings.
Reasons why Pyke is still a human (or a superhuman, at least):
Has a bloodflow.
It is never mentioned on Ruined King that he does not eat, but it is mentioned that he doesnt sleep much.
Not invincible, in that one audioreading of Bilgewater Legends we can hear the protagonist suscessfully hurting Pyke or at least leaving him stunned enough to fall on his back to the sea.
Has a conscient mind, wich is not something pop culture undeads use to have. I never asked an undead from when pirates existed, though *shrugs*
So taking all these in consideration, my conclusion is: Neither i have a fucking clue what Pyke is.
