#gfdi. my heartrate is 100 bpm#i was like lemme check if i have covid by any chance (from spending 3 hrs in the hospital on tuesday)#to make sure i dont infect anyone when i go to Sports Practice tmrw#and im having a VERY suspicious physiological response to the methylphenidate i took half an hour ago >:/#i noticed this happened back on christmas break when i was asymptomatic EXCEPT for elevated heartrate when taking my meds#for like 1.5 weeks. and THEN i got an absolutely terrible fever with a heavy dry cough for a few days. no positive test tho#but still it was fucking sus#mine

#fun story: in 2018 we went to interview ex-president jimmy carter#and I had a bit of an odd feeling in my throat#august 24 2018 i remember that date well#because that was the first signs of an illness that annihilated me#i blacked out for most of the month of september- i only have very sparse memories#i had a strange kind of pneumonia the doctor hadn't seen before#and over those 6-7 months they threw every single anti-anything they could at me#IDK if I slept so well because of the knockout effects of all the antibiotics and antivirals#or because I had a recurring fever and a chronic brutal cough for 6-7 months and was terribly weak by the end#but i was sleeping so deeply the more pills they added#and now i know i can function with a 102 fever on and off for months on end#everyone- family and coworkers- also made fun of me for insisting on wearing a mask but guess what bitches#when the pandemic rolled around i still had 2 unopened boxes from being sick a year before and those were worth more than toilet paper#lita#love in the air#prapai#sky#prapaisky#true facts: I don't remember writing one of my own fics#it was during the blackout month and i refuse to read it because i think it's funnier that i don't know what it's about#i also had to work- it was one of our biggest events that we do every 4 years#two weeks straight of 14 hour days with no weekends#and i was there every single day#i have no memory whatsoever and when we did the event again in 2022 the organizers kept saying 'oh wow you're alive!'#i like to say i had the BEST time because it's a tedious af event and everyone is surly by the end#but from MY pov i was trapped in dense fog and couldn't breathe; trapped in that twilight feeling when you're neither awake nor unconscious#and then when it passed I had a nice paycheck in my account without any of the mental strain of working for it#watch

#there was a guy coughing and hacking all about the cafeteria this morning#not fucking covering his mouth#and i THOUGHT i was able to avoid him and was home free#until i guess he saw me carrying out all my medical kits and figured out i was a medic and came right over to asking if i had any coughdrops#FIELDS MEDICS DONT HAVE STUFF LIKE THAT IN OUR SUPPLIES#and after i said no he kept talking to me. closer than 6ft. about how sick he was that today was actually the best hes felt in two weeks#SO IT FUCKING SUCKS???AND HARD TO GET BETTER???? Welp, as is typical for it being close to Election Day and being in a swing state, I got myself so stressed out that I got sick.
Went to the walk in thinking it was gonna be like a sinus infection or maybe bronchitis.
I have pneumonia 🫠
#I’ve been sick for the last three weeks and honestly thought it was allergies or because the temp can’t decide if it wants to be hot or cold#like two weeks ago I thought it turned into the flu but I rested a few days and seemed like I was kind of getting better#but then I just never did get fully better and I’ve been getting a lot worse over the past few days#I’ve got one of those terrible rattling coughs and it fucking hurts holy shit#anyways I’m still voting Tuesday I’ll sit on the floor while I wait in line if I have to#like hell I’m gonna let the moldy orange back in so he can’t take away more rights

#my bilingualism class is fine and good and great and easy whatever until we get to exams in which case it is hell on earth and the most#stressful thing ever and i break down#its not even that i do bad i got a 100 on the last exam and have a 100 in the class but it is just the most stressful experience ever#this time was less bad then before bc i didnt have a girl coughing in my ear and everyone talking DURING THE EXAM but it was still hell#she brought in earplugs and i took a pair of those but jesus christ#i just hate the way she writes them its confusing and shell ask for small details from fucking forever ago#like literally “what does this word mean” in a language i dont fucking speak. ok it was a spanish creole language and that was one of the#examples when we learned abt it but i got my dates mixed up and didnt study that unit and FUCK!!!!!#just supreme talent to make me feel stressed and terrible. and i think she thinks im a stressed test taker now which is not true lol im#great at tests. i only start crying when i dont know the answer lol or feel stupid#which is crazy bc i do good on her tests. just think she has the unconscious talent of writing a test that makes you feel like youre#not doing it right and are going to do horribly as you do incredibly well#or maybe im just crazy#or maybe she needs to stop fucking scheduling her exams the same day as my fucking portuguese exams theres literally 2 of them how did she#go 2 for 2 because it turns my entire morning into a study craze with pockets of exam taking and crying#and once i start im raw all day so i end up crying like 3 times before noon#anyways need to get off tumblr im burning time to cram for my port exam in 2hrs hate you all goodnight

Took another covid test and it's STILL negative which is surprising because I feel like absolute shit
#i know other illnesses exist but the timing?? ODD#i have a terrible headache (and i have headaches daily so when i say terrible i mean it) my throat is scratchy and sore exactly like it was#last time i had corona my neck shoulders back upper legs and upper arms are stiff and sore#i feel dizzy and disoriented my eyes feel warm although I dont think i have a fever I'm nauseous and my stomach hurts but it always does#that so idk if that's related to anything and i'm so sound and sight sensitive right now#i mean?? coincidence!? apparently so#but yeah basically like half these symptoms i have every day anyway but not always this bad and the others on top are 👀 suspicious#but i guess I've just caught a bug or smth cause the tests say norona for me#still though i do feel very uncomfortable HOWEVER i am glad that I'm not congested or coughing. small mercies#my post#personal
