edit: because i've gotten comments on both this post and the one i shared in the subreddit that seem to misinterpret why i made this, y'all this is meant to be satire, i'm not actually trying to 'outdo' the original panel, it's supposed to look like the S3 art style which looks boring and stiff compared to the original LMAO (I even used S3 panels as the base to work off of when creating this) so yes all the issues with the redrawn version are on purpose, i'm well aware it's not as good as the original and that the anatomy is wack, that just tells me i succeeded because it's p much exactly what S3 of LO looks like JFKDLAJFDASKLJKASLD

I get why people headcanon that Trucy would call Edgeworth "Uncle Miles" because it represents how close he is to Nick and Trucy and how he's basically part of the family etc. HOWEVER I cannot help but imagine the shock and horror of passersby who hear Trucy call one man "uncle" and one "daddy" as they watch Nick and Miles interact lovingly in public and come to the conclusion that Nick is openly cheating on his spouse with his spouse's brother.

Sorry but most of the time desert duo fans will make Scars whole character just about Grian and it's. So weird. Give Scar his own personality and his own issues and make him feel like an actual person im begging. You can give scar some angst even if you're focusing on grian.

Can we like make Scar an actual character and not just a guy who's there because Grian grian grian

Of all the themes in Mouthwashing, I think the themes of punishment and virtue are the most subtle.

It’s so odd because it’s a subversion where all the characters are punished for their virtues more than their flaws except Jimmy. Curly sees the best and people and tries to do right by all parties whether deserving or not. He is then forced to see everyone fall to their worst states while he can’t do anything. Daisuke is optimistic and hopeful, playful to a fault and a big morale. He dies in agony the one time he is forced to act in a serious event. Anya is kind and capable, knowledgeable in her field. Yet, she is treated like a dunce and does being treated like a dead weight.

The only characters who aren’t punished per se are those without direct virtues. Swansea is ornery and rude the moment we meet him, Jimmy is self explanatory. Yet, Swansea is still punished with Daisuke’s death, while Jimmy escapes in a way. Not having to face the final aftermath or even acknowledging how he could never really fix it. He suffers and is tormented, but he doesn’t really care because in his mind he didn’t fail in his head of proving something to Curly.

This is rambling y really but it really is the theme of no good deed but to the extreme. Good people punished for their attempts at virtue while the bad person victimizes themself over their suffering.

ACK…!!!!!!!!!ooouuuugghh…) but in the end she didn’t get to say any of that bc she literally just walks up to him and kisses him very quickly and she’s like 🫡 my job here is done, see ya. meanwhile jaime is stunned, completely disarmed, trying to process that HIS shy sweet brienne just kissed him so very nonchalantly and he’s like Huh..?? 🧍‍♀️ then huh…!!!!!!! 🙀😼😼😺 then he’ll just very briskly and casually just catch up to her theatrically cough like ahem AHEM. i did not know you were a thief, stealing kisses that. i thought you were such an honourable knight but you are nothing more than a scoundrel, a rogue that steal kisses from unassuming maids..!! 🧐🤨 you have to make up for what you did ser knight or else I’ll think u have no honor. another kiss, please. and he will be very delighted and annoying about it
