Hey Knight I just saw the villain champion chart thing and I was just wondering why you decided to put the champions where they are

Like I understand Diantha, Geeta, and Lance cause they do be evil. But why the rest? Cynthia’s place really confuses me lol

Man idk bc I made that around eleven in the pm and my minds always out of it past nine jcmdnd hahaha

But like I did have concepts for it back then so hey hahah

So villain au Leon, he believes what he's doing is right, he thinks that hey since he's really the "no1 Champion" he should be the one protecting the weak from any threat, but ofc, it got to the point he'd really kill em and such bc why let a threat just walk around his region right? Also y'know, that thing w Rose threatening Hop and Leon finding out abt it, sponsor be damned he actually up and killed Rose bc why would anyone even try to think of hurting the Champion's brother? People didn't really question him bc ofc, why tf would they even go against the strongest fucking trainer of their region, and Leon was like really happy that people understand why he's doing it, unaware that they're actually terrified of him. A few did speak up abt it tho, and Leon did not take it well, he's going on how if they don't want him to make Galar peaceful, then they are a threat to Galar

Wallace idk bc my initial plan was for him between thinking he's doing right and doing it for the lols I'm sorry my mind really was so out of it last night I did so many questionable shit w my drafts here on Tumblr too😭 but like cndmnd y'know, he and Steven for this one, two Wingull w one Stone hahaha and like, maybe they would think the same way like Leon, just trying to protect the weak. But I also wanna say that Wallace also likes the thrill of being a villain maybe, bc again, my initial thought was for him between doing what's right and for the lols, and maybe he got that power to his head, especially since he does know how to make Kyogre bow down to him

I did,, mention that Steven would kill for Wallace and Lisia, and maybe he really went on w that, and hey he thinks he's doing right bc he's just protecting the ones he loves right?

Hau genuinely believes he's doing right bc ofc in this au the champions are all so out of it na rin, so they manipulated him to make him believe in them more, and they'd just tell him that what they're doing is actually right, even tho they're killing people

Iris is in between Dia/Lance and Cynthia bc I do think that the champions' manipulation runs that deep in her that she became downright fucking cruel. But like, y'know, she's enjoying it too, people looked down on her for most of her life, and now she's having fun making them kneel before her and finally realizing how strong of a champion she really is

Cynthia idk bc whenever I imagine Cynthia as a villain I always see her as someone who'd really be evil for lols, and doing evil stuff to get what she wants, like you catching my drift here? Hahah like I imagine her really just acting all friendly w trainers, but if smth did happen to them and they don't know she's there, she'd just watch and see if they'd be okay, she's curious if they're strong enough. And when she found out abt Cyrus' plan abt recreating the world, her curiosity piqued, and she just watched it all unfold. Altho w this one tho, I do wanna say that she did,, help?? Him?? Catch Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf to create the Red Chain, and she told them that she really didn't care abt what's the whole deal on recreating the world, she just wanted to see all these legendary pkmn, and she did. Saw Cyrus die before her bc of Giratina, saw Gira and went on how powerful he was, and y'know told him that she's also a powerful trainer, and maybe if they work together they'd become more powerful than Arceus. And yeah, idk, even w the actual pkmn version of Satan she's not at Satan incarnate bc I wanna say she really isn't like Diantha who manipulates anyone or Lance who just kills anyone, rather she just doesn't care much abt anyone else and just likes the feeling of being godlike, especially now she and Giratina share a body, and she got Giratina's own power now too

•Hc ages, Wallace, Geeta, and Lance are both around 32-35 (Lance is the older one between them). Steven, Cynthia, Diantha, and Leon are all around 28-31 (Leon is the younger one, Diantha is the oldest between em). Hau is 15 and Iris is 17

-I have Hau as my Alola champion bc idk I think he deserves it hahah

•Diantha and Lance are easily susceptible of Iris' and Hau's puppy eyes and get dragged into their hijinks

-the ones who can somewhat resits them are Wallace, Geeta, and Steven

-Cynthia is an enabler, and Leon somehow knows when to say no to their shenanigans bc he has experience as an older brother

•the other champions are honestly a bit unnerved by Geeta, she knows this too but made no effort to change it, she thinks it's entertaining

-the others just try to keep up w her for Diantha

-Lance couldn't tho, Geeta just gets on his nerves and vice verse, tho the two do try to get along for Diantha

-its honestly very comical cause one second they're almost killing each other and the second Diantha walks in they'd both stop and laugh and smile w each other bc they know Dia would get sad if they fight 

•they all have their own little group chat and it's honestly just Steven setting up the dates for their meet ups and Cynthia and Wallace at each other's throats

-Diantha just loves the drama going on between those two, she thinks their petty arguments are entertaining

•Hau and Iris have this solidarity of being raised by their own respective grandfather

-Iris helps Hau cope w it, that at least there's still people who loves them, and hey they're family now too, together w the other champions

-theyre siblings to me your honour pls they mean so much to me

•Steven cherishes the other champions so much because it's the first ever friend group he has that doesn't make fun of him for his love of rare stones

-its really the only friend group he has that doesn't make fun of anything about him in general

-also the only friend group that doesn't use his status as heir to the Devon Corp for the fame and fortune

•Geeta almost doesn't have any concept of empathy whatsoever so her actions seems like she's being an asshole

-she's trying not to be, really, but that's just how she grew up and hey at least they're kinda trying?? To help her??

-well, she's really not like that w Diantha, or rather she feels more empathy solely for Diantha, and to the others that's better than nothing

•out of the public eye, Diantha isn't as elegant of a trainer as people perceived her to be

-i would ramble abt this but it'll be long na so hey send another ask if you want hahah

•other than their native languages and the universal languages Unovan and Galarian, there are a few champions that are fluent in other languages 

-Wallace can speak two other languages, Kalosian and Sinnohan

-Diantha can speak three, as it's often part of an act or she was taught back then, with those being: Paldean, Ransean, and Sinnohan

-surprisingly, Hau also knows three, altho he can't speak some of them, with those being: Kantonian, Hoennian, and Orrean

-Geeta can speak Kalosian and a little bit of Almian

-spare me tho, I made own adjectives for the other regions since there's nothing much abt em in the wikipage

So I imagine them swapping for the first time it went like: Hau > Lance, Lance > Steven, Cynthia > Wallace, Wallace > Cynthia, Iris > Geeta, Diantha > Leon, Leon > Diantha, Geeta > Hau

No but, immediately, I know in my heart, Lance's League would figure out it's not him hahaha

I know his League would immediately know it's not him, bc for one, Lance has a resting bitch face, and the Lance that's in front of them rn is smiling at them so softly and so awkwardly and I know Clair's there looking at em all "okay, so, I'm not the only one freaked out by this, yeah?"

After their meeting, they all left except for a few, maybe Clair and Silver, since "Lance" just stayed in the meeting hall, pacing, muttering under his breath, looking around, he's like stimming honestly, and ofc that's odd for Clair and Silver, Lance wasn't like that. In fact, during the meeting he was so quiet, and it's always him who does the talking. Either way, they'll find out what's really going on w him

Imagine the first time they swapped, Steven was exploring a cave in Hoenn, and then the swap happened, and Lance is there in the middle of a dark as fuck cave going "where the hell am I?!"

Oh Cynthia would be fucking vibing she's in Wallace's body now fr, like imagine her waking up, going to the bathroom, looks at herself in the mirror and she just fucking screams. Lisia runs in, almost kicks the door open, panicking, asking what happened. Cynthia had to force herself to calm down and give Lisia a not so convincing smile going "n-nothing's wrong! Don't worry!" Laughing nervously while waving her hand, but Lisia didn't buy it ofc, tho maybe her uncle just wanted some time for himself, and she said he should call her if there's smth wrong, and finally left. Cynthia called Steven in a hurry after that, only for Lance to be on the other end. This was not her day.

Wallace is honestly the same w Cynthia tho, like Cyn's sister running to her room in a hurry too, only for Wallace to try and play it cool, going "I just saw a, uhh, Spinarak crawl by, that's all!" And ofc, he knows abt Cynthia's small fear of bugs, he just hoped her sister would buy it too, fortunately it did, w her sister saying she shouldn't scream like that, shaking her head going, "you scared gran and gramps, you continue to take years off their lives, Thia, I swear" and she finally left.

The Paldea kids also immediately figured out there's smth wrong w "Geeta" bc there was no way in hell Geeta knows a lot abt fandom stuff. Iris was horrible at this, like she's really trying to make the most of it, but she relented bc hey, they really were looking at her weird, so she just "I.. yeah, I'm not Geeta. I'm Iris, the Unova Champion."

"champion Iris??"

"yep, I don't know what happened, but I was in a middle of eating breakfast and suddenly I'm at Geeta's office."

The four of them do help her out, they've trained for this, they always impersonate the league members behind their backs bc they thought it was funny, so they taught her how to act like Geeta and make it less suspicious. It still failed, Rika knew Geeta doesn't know abt this really obscure Unovan show she watches

Geeta was also figured out quick, bc the Alola kids just noticed "Hau" walking upright with his hands folded behind his back all the time. The way he talks too, it wasn't like Hau, ofc it wasn't Hau. Geeta was calmer, quieter, more observant, really the opposite of Hau. They did ask her abt it, and she ended up just telling them the truth, that she really isn't Hau, "I don't know, perhaps this is a pokemon's doing, hopefully you'll have your friend back soon." She said, and it's so weird for the Alola kids to hear it in Hau's voice, to hear his own voice sound so monotonous, they were so used to him being so lively and upbeat.

As much as I want Dia and Leon to ruin each others reputation, I also wanna say that they realized their lives are almost similar yknow.

Diantha woke up in Leon's room, at first ofc she panicked, the place was unfamiliar to her until she looked into the mirror. But hey, she's a seasoned actress, she knows how to play the part, even if it's a role she doesn't like. So she went on her day, got dressed, and went downstairs to have breakfast w his family. And idk, idk I want her to like,, have this lil moment bc yknow, she found out Leon was still w his mother, together w his brother, the three of them having breakfast together, and it reminds her of the times when she was younger, Drasna and Augustine w her on the dining table, eating breakfast too, telling each other about their days and such, and those days were the ones she treasured the most. It actually made her cry, Hop and his mom were worried, asking "Leon" was wrong, but Dia just smiled, "it's nothing, I'm sorry.. I just.. it's nice being with you guys." And it was nice, yknow, maybe when everything's normal again, she could have a normal breakfast w her family at home again too

And on Leon's end, he realizes how lonely Diantha was. She was staying at the League, none of the Elite Four were there, just her, just him. He looked around her room, neat and pristine, ofc, what did he expect, then he got dressed too, preparing for what kinda day he'd have. He should message the other champions, but like, none of them messaged their group chat yet, so maybe this only happened between him and Dia. So hey, he's roaming around the League yknow, it was quiet, it was empty, like his own office at his tower, how lonely it was, how isolating it was. He went out the garden, looking at the statue in the middle, at the fountain, at the Pokémon who were sleeping within the trees. It was quiet. Too quiet. He didn't like it, it reminds him too much of his tower, being on top of everyone, alone on his pedestal. He sighed, "this is what you wake up to everyday..?" He asked, knowing he won't get an answer, he sighed, "no wonder you don't like being alone too."

Ofc, maybe after they all decided to actually message each other abt what's going on, and it's a relief yknow that it's not just a certain pair, but it's also concerning for them bc how did this actually happen?? They ended up having an impromptu meeting, in case they won't return to their own bodies, they'd know what to do at least. But yeah, maybe they did return to their bodies, or maybe it took a while before they did, idk that'd be interesting, that they get to experience how the other champions go on their day, and they find out more abt them too hahah

I imagine the champions get bullied by their Pokémon sometimes

Like Hau bought a Malasada for himself but Decidueye keeps bothering him for some, and Hau is refusing to give him a piece cause, he’s a big bird, a piece isn’t big enough and Hau wants some for himself. So Decidueye does the only logical thing, and spirit shackles Hau to the his chair and walks away with the half eaten Malasada

Even Diantha and Gardevoir being pissed at each other all day for some reason. So when Diantha finally got home from a long day at the Kalos League, Gardevoir gets out her pokeball and just fucking, teleports both her and Diantha back to the League and then teleports herself back home. Leaving Diantha alone

Or imagine if Cynthia is letting her Pokémon run around in the snow and when it’s time to go home they all go into their pokeballs except for Lucario. And like the dog Pokémon it is, starts barking and runs off further in the distance. Completely ignoring Cynthia and making her chase him through the snow

Steven may be rich and definitely bought everything his Pokémon could need and more. But imagine how many bed frames Steven had to buy in his lifetime cause Metagross, despite having a custom made bed made for his size, decided Stevens bed was the best one to sleep on. Bro never moves despite how much Steven pleads with him

And I know for a fact Iris’ Lapras had used sing on her to put her to sleep, so she and the rest of Iris’ Pokémon could raid the snack cupboard. Girly really just told the other Pokémon to leave the room, put Iris to sleep, and then called them back in. Druddigon at least had the decency to carry Iris to her bed

Lapras tho😭😭 homegirl really just put their trainer to sleep to get snacks what an icon🤣 bet tho she and Haxorus would conspire together, like Haxorus not only making Iris real ass tired during their training, but also telling Lapras to sing during training too so Iris would be drowsy and the others could slowly make their way back to the kitchen to get all the snacks, next thing they know Iris is fast asleep face first on the ground lol

Pfft Hau's and Iris' mons teaming up, Lapras just sings both of them to sleep while the other mons get all their snacks hahaha

Imagine Cynthia just having a leash for Lucario now tho, but that still wasn't enough imagine that doggo still running through the snow dragging Cynthia with him, and Cynthia's there like holding on tight to the leash, just fucking vibing as her body gets dragged through the snow. I'm p fckin sure homegirl ate like, a ton of snow at this point chdmdb hahaha then again w all the ice cream this mfer eats I'm sure she's immune to brain freezes

Lance - I think,, I think he'd be the type to wake up early, and by early I mean no fail he wakes up around 4:30am, Lance would start training and his dragons are noisy. I wanna say the first time they all lived together, Diantha woke up w Lance bc why is her man up at this godforsaken hour and it ruined her mood for the entire day girl missed her beauty sleep lmfaooo

Steven - expect stones and pebbles and rocks everywhere. He'd find a rock that reminds him of one of the champions and he'd bring it home w him and he'd give it to them and ofc as weird as Steven was they can't decline bc hey, it's smth he loved y'know, but also I know Cynthia and Wallace would love collecting those rocks and pebbles

Wallace - the first time he woke up to Lance training at four in the morning, he and Diantha ruined everyone's day w their mood. If this man doesn't get his full eight hours of sleep he's gonna make it everyone's problem. Coffee would not solve anything, but spending the day w Steven might lmfao

Cynthia - if anyone sees random books and papers or anything piled or cluttered around a certain area of their shared home, they would know Cynthia has been there. Girl does not clean up after herself bc she's so busy, her mind is always racing, she gives Hamilton vibes in a way she could write 51 essays in one go and she would enjoy every second of it. They don't even wanna talk abt Cynthia's room

Iris - sleeps through all of her alarms, the only thing that could wake her up is if Hau just jumps on her and tell her everyone's been waiting for almost an hour for her to go down to breakfast w them. Once said she wants to train w Lance early in the morning, did not at all join him bc Lance couldn't even wake her up she kept insisting "ugh.. five more minutes" she said that about ten times now Lance just gave up

Diantha - no matter how sour her mood will be, someone's gotta wake her up 6am sharp. Too many appointments and meetings and sets that she gotta start her day early, but not too early as in Lance and Geeta early. Would not be functional without coffee or sweets in the morning, one time she only ate like,, cake for breakfast and she was good to go

Hau - actually a pretty decent roommate, until someone eats his leftovers. Look, look, he's been influenced enough by the champions, Wallace and Diantha would be so damn proud at how petty this boy is when someone eats his leftovers. He has not forgiven Iris for eating his leftover food one time and he refuses to let her live it down

Leon - also sleeps through all his alarms lmfao, if he could he'd just stay in bed the whole day cause he hasn't been so relaxed in such a long while. He's the one who always cooks breakfast tho, I think, like of all the champions he and Lance give off the vibes that they're the only ones who could cook well enough that they won't burn the food

Geeta - also someone who wakes up so early, if Lance wakes up at 4:30, Geeta wakes up around 5:00. Isn't allowed in the kitchen tho so she doesn't cook breakfast before everyone wakes up bc she also almost burned the house down. Takes care of all the lil pokemon that hides in her hair so they have this lil sanctuary of sorts in their backyard, Geeta insisted they could train them and maybe hand them as starter Pokemon to young trainers

Ok so you know Encanto? It was real popular in 2021. Well if you don’t know the whole idea is that this one family gets “gifts” or powers when they turn five. The gifts in order are,

I think you know where I’m going with this

But I just thought to myself, the Champions are technically the protectors of their regions. But their only defences are their Pokémon

So what if Arceus saw humans appoint certain humans the title of “Champion”, saw these certain humans protected the weaker humans, and decided they needed something else to help protect the humans on earth, and decided to gift them powers

And no, this isn’t going towards a super hero AU. It’s heading towards a god AU

But yeah, Arceus decided these humans needed more than Pokémon to defend themselves and others, and gifted them powers

And when I said this is turning into a god AU, I didn’t mean the champions consider themselves gods, but the people of their regions do. At the very least Demigods

Because in their eyes, their Champions got blessed by Arceus, the god of all life in the universe and he who knows best

Really this is just the champions expectations, but 10x worse cause now they’re looked at like gods

(Also I don’t know if this has gone on for centuries, and every new champion gets a new power while the previous champion loses theirs. Or if the present champions are the first ones to receive gifts, you can decide which one you like more)

Oh and while they are powers, they can still be referred to as gifts in this AU because Arceus gifted the Champions with them

ENCANTO, DUDE, THE WAY I CRIED OVER THAT MOVIE man I just bcnxbxnxn dude the way it came to my house and broke my fucking heart giving me false hope of an apology from my grandmother but she didn't but I shouldn't speak abt that bc I'd be trauma dumping on an au lmfaooo

Imagine if Iris is like Mirabel tho, she didn't get a gift from Arceus for whatever reason, and people kinda look down on her bc ofc she's a champion without a gift, could she truly protect the region w just her pkmn? And throughout it all she's trying to prove herself competent despite her lack of gift

But also it would be so so cool and it's so self indulgent bc I think Iris deserves dope things, that she does have a gift, it was still untapped, but she does have it, she has Arceus' powers herself maybe, that'd be cool, but ofc she doesn't know yet bc it's not as clear and prominent as the rest, so as she grew older, still trying to prove herself to everyone, she's desperately praying to Arceus to at least give her a gift too, she was a strong and competent champion, so why doesn't she have one

But ough she does she fucking does, Arceus took one good look at her and decided she's the one to truly inherit his power to protect the world, the way she could really help the other Champions with their power as well, the way she could give others gifts as well, the way she could do all the things Arceus could do, but she never realized it just yet

No cause there are nine champions so there should be one who doesn't have a gift hahah and me being me gave Iris the main charac card once again hahahah

But don't you think that'd be dope?? Idk it's dope for me that Iris could really use the move Judgement, but it's also cool to see her bond with the other Champions learning abt their gifts too, and then being the one to help them open up about their gifts

BUT ALSO PLEASE CYNTHIA W FUTURE VISION HER BEING THE BRUNO OF THE AU JDMCBDK

Man that's fucked up tho imagine since all the champions are already burdened by their gifts, and Cynthia sees it all, sees how it'll end for them if they can't handle the pressure anymore, sees that Iris won't get a power, and she doesn't wanna let her down, doesn't want Iris to feel like shit, so when she told the other Champions abt it, they didn't want to believe her, no, the pressure was already too much before they got their gifts, what more a champion without one? Cynthia felt like shit, she doesn't want to tell Iris about it, she couldn't handle the disappointment, the hurt, everything; so she ran away, hid herself from both her league and the rest of the champions

And since Arceus gave his powers to Iris (tho I wanna say he gave Hau his gift first before finally giving Iris everything he has), he couldn't give another person Cynthia's gift, also it's the fact no one's taken her title yet, she doesn't want anyone to take the champion title, she doesn't want anyone to go through the same shit she went through both before and after getting the gift

Arceus gave them these powers to help the people, but it's so hard to protect the people who doesn't even like her and will give her fake smiles and compliments when she does her duties to the point she became so fucking passive and would only act when someone tells her to

The only thought bouncing around in my head is that when Iris told Hau that her favourite games are first person shooters, the first thing he said was “you really are Unovan”. Man said it without thinking and they thought it was the funniest shit at the time. Iris always bring it up whenever they play fps together

Anyways, do Iris and Hau ever try get the older champions to play video games with them? Imagine them trying to tell each of the champions what buttons do what and one of them (preferably Lance) says the whole “back in my day we just had two buttons and a joystick”. And once they get the hang of the game controls, it’s just chaos. They’re all yelling at each other and throwing insults left and right

Wallace has experience at least bc his niece does like playing video games too, and it's nice watching Iris and Hau play whenever they have their champion's meet up, reminds him of Lisia. But I also wanna say he's really shitty when it comes to games, Hau and Iris ended up showing him Stardew Valley bc hey it's just a farm sim, he doesn't have to be quick or anything, and he actually liked it and said he's going to date every npc and the two said it's on brand of him—

Cynthia knows every kind of game under the sun, and the three of em have lil game nights too, altho it also ends w Cynthia encouraging them pulling an all nighter bc she's the type of player to grind until she gets the item she wants. Really into online RPGs, likes the character customization, and likes the stories, got Iris and Hau to play those games w her too and imagine she's like max level/rank and the two are just "woah, you must've played this game for a long time hahah" and Cynthia's just "oh no, I just started playing this yesterday"

Teaching Diantha how to play the games they wanted was a mess bc Dia was asking what each of the buttons are for almost every two seconds, so they end up installing games on her phone instead bc the only other game she had there was chess. She didn't really get the hang of the games Iris and Hau plays, but she's really fucking good at rhythm games. Like... It's terrifying. She'd probs clear out the hardest song of Project Sekai or Osu or ADOFAI or whatevs and they found out no matter what platform, Dia's hands are quick to press the right keys, and after the hard levels she's all "that was fun, do they have other songs? I think I've cleared out everything"

They invited Leon to their online rpg game once. He got lost trying to find them. They ended up showing him platformer games and it really made him happy cause he legit just has to go one way every time hahah. He's good w the Mega Man games tho, also somewhat good at speedrunning said games for whatever reason Iris and Hau can't figure out— they made him play Cuphead once, never again, Diantha almost didn't buy them another console after Leon raged when he couldn't beat Cagney Carnation after numerous attempts and actually threw his controller at the screen. Surprisingly tho, he doesn't cuss when he rages, probs experience playing w Hop too hahaha

Since Iris and Hau knows Geeta loves horror movies, they also made her play horror games as well. To no surprise she's good at those games, knows where to find every item, how to progress no matter how cryptic the instructions are, how to outrun the one trying to kill her, doesn't fucking flinch when there's a jumpscare— they also showed her Dead by Daylight and man she fucking loves that game so much and Iris and Hau were low-key regretting it bc now Geeta invites almost every champion to play that game w her bc she knows she's gonna win every fucking time and it's not like they don't like to see Geeta being happy, I'm sure it's what Diantha wanted too, but every time Geeta kills one of their player characters she start laughing to herself and starts humming "I wonder who's next" while hunting down the others. These two then tell Geeta all the decorations the other peeps in the neighbourhood has and she plans to outdo them, this is honestly the only time of the year these three get along well lmfao like they're that competitive they want their house and their decorations to be the very best like no one ever was hahaha

Wallace and Diantha do go all out on costumes fr, Lance and Steven has to deal w them, they have to be matching, for the aesthetic. Diantha and Wallace also really competitive, wanting to outdo others' costumes. Dia and Lance do supervise Iris and Hau when they go trick or treating back then when they were younger, it's always nice to see the kids having fun and making new friends, tho Dia did have to limit their sweets during those nights bc the first time they celebrated Halloween together, Hau and Iris and even Cynthia did not sleep the entire night bc of the sugar rush, Dia now knows better lmao. Also doesn't let Cynthia watch over the kids when out trick or treating, Cyn taught them how to actually trick people to get more candy.

Leon would celebrate the Four Months of Christmas™ fr, even gets the kids to join him. most of them don’t really have reasons for why they get assigned to that stone (except for geeta bc time stone and paldea’s thing was past/future).

Ok time for the big event. So the soul stone requires a sacrifice (someone you’re close to / love). So what I imagine is that Cyn and Dia are at Vormir and get told the whole “soul for a soul” thing, and are conflicted about it. Likely they fight, since neither wants to watch the other die. Eventually though, Diantha is the one who sacrifices herself (listen the fallen angel imagery was too good to pass up), and Cynthia has more trauma lol.

it’d also be painful for lance too, since in endgame the people going for the power stone and soul stone basically went together, dropped the power stone duo off at the location, then headed to the soul stone. Lance is the power stone guy. So he was the last one to see Diantha alive other than Cynthia.

Where do each of the champions go after Diantha disappears? Do they go to their leagues and discuss what happened? And how to protect their regions if Diantha ever comes there. Or do they just hide from the public

But what about the champions on Diantha side? I imagine if they ever go back to their leagues then they’re gonna threaten the gym leaders and elite fours. That if they don’t stay on their side than they’d face a worse consequence than death. Or maybe they don’t want to go to hard so they threatened to have their lives ruined if they betray them

But like uygnhh Lance, Iris, and Hau have family in their leagues. I don’t think Clair, Drayden, or Hala would take well to being threatened, so they’ll try argue back or reason with their champions only for them to let out one of their Pokémon who quickly attacks, not enough to kill but it definitely injured them well. Seeing their champion attack family would definitely show the rest of the league that they aren’t joking around

One more thing I wanted to ask, do you think the leagues, or at least the family members, would realize or suspect that Geeta/Lance/Iris/Hau is being manipulated and/or brainwashed by Diantha? Like they know that a strong enough Gardevoir can manipulate emotions? Or do they just think that this is a side of their champions that they’ve never seen

The champions did head back to their own respective region, Leon especially became so paranoid he discussed matters abt it w his own League. But I also wanna say that even his Gym Leaders start to low-key question him, not really saying it to his face y'know just being quiet when he talks, bc ofc, Dia was right, Rose did threaten them. Raihan got threatened the most, and Nessa knows how much Rose threatened Sonia to the point she gave up on the gym challenge in fear of being killed. I want Bea to be protective of Allister too, Leon would ask where the Ghost Gym Leader is, and Bea would just tell him he's at home, he may be Gym Leader, but he's still a child. Leon insists that next time Allister joins their meeting, he doesn't care if he's a child, he's a Gym Leader, it's still his responsibility.

Idk if the others would be that paranoid, I wanna say that maybe Steven kinda is, but he believes Wallace so much when he says that there's smth in Diantha that can still be saved, and Steven isn't one for giving up on his friends, especially since that friend also helped him out at one point and gave him Metagross' mega stone. But the two did became a bit more cautious, in case that uproar would encourage more fights and an actual war

Idt they'd stay out of the public, especially now since there are actually people on Diantha's side of the argument, justifying her actions too. I wanna say that the champions who were loyal to her were helping them justify those actions too, and told them that Diantha could still be saved, that maybe they should also help each other out on purging all the evil of their world

And just cbdmnd man idk I really don't think Hau would attack, neither would Iris, since the entirety of the Unova League is kinda like her family. Geeta I believe would just threaten, but y'know she does care abt her league, and her voice is too weak and too tired to be considered as an actual threat. Lance tho? Lance will kill. Like this mfer had his Dragonite Hyper Beam someone, and he will do it again, no matter who's at the receiving end.

But Clair thinks that's all a bluff, and just left to head back to Blackthorn. The other members of the league do follow Lance, Clair just kept quiet now, if Lance won't listen to her then so be it, whatever happens will happen, and she's just gonna accept and watch that shit show go down. Will she join a side? Perhaps, maybe Diantha would convince her to join Lance, or maybe... Clair would see that Lance is right, and Diantha's cause was right too, that it really would be better to rid the world of all things evil. It would be nice, recreating a world, reliving her life, but this time around no one would be there to tell her everyday just how much of a disappointment she is

As for the family members,,, Drayden and Hala did think abt the kids being controlled by Diantha, Hala believes it. Hala believes that it's bc of Diantha Hau is acting strange, the boy would always say how he'd like to be in Kalos w her. Hala's not sure why, but even back then he didn't trust Diantha that much, or maybe that was his own envy over the fact that she could somehow make Hau happy, more than he ever could. Drayden doubts it a bit bc he had met Diantha before, and the Kalos Champion was so nice and kind and so caring to Iris. And even from the stories Iris tells him, she could ask for anything she ever wanted, and Dia would be happy to give it to her, Diantha even gave her a Goomy egg, since she knows how much Iris loves Dragons. So for Drayden it was,,, something,,, he does think maybe Diantha's just controlling the kids, but he also thinks that Gardevoir's or maybe even Yveltal's influence made Diantha like that

Geeta's league fully fucking believes Diantha controls her. They already know just how loyal Geeta is to Diantha, she wouldn't even question her no matter what, and that's one of the downsides of their own Champion. And maybe they think it's their fault too, Diantha showed Geeta kindness when they were still young, until now, accepted her despite how eccentric she was, despite the fact Geeta can't feel anything that much, and maybe if the Paldea League did just that too, maybe Geeta wouldn't have been easily manipulated.

Lance tho? His own League knows how hard he can get, he's always driven by his own beliefs and conviction, they don't think it's Diantha's influence, rather they believe that Lance finally snapped or maybe he thinks this is a mission he should finish, and Arceus above knows how fucked up he can get just to finish a mission he had set for himself. That fight w Rocket was actually really bloody, the news just won't tell you that. Some do believe Diantha had some sort of influence on him, but that was overridden considering that Lance was already brutal when it comes to criminals or just anyone who goes against him, even before he met Diantha.

Idk if what you mean is like,, the body swap and such but I'm just going w the thought that in this au, the older champions just turned to kids while Iris and Hau stayed the same age (so like, mid 20s and late teens, while the other Champions that got turned to kids are around,, 12-16)

Like imagine them thinking that the only champion they have to really watch over is Cynthia bc from the stories she tells them, she was such a rowdy kid and would drag her friends everywhere. Maybe Leon at a push too. But holy shit they did not expect Diantha to be like that™

In a span of an hour, Diantha managed to actually push one of the other champions off the roof bc they were pissing her off (it was Leon, don't worry Hau saved him), convinced Cynthia to eat a rock (Iris got it out before she could swallow it), made Geeta barricade the doors to the backyard when Hau and Iris were still outside (they managed to get in through the windows), got Lance to use Iris and Hau's money to buy cake (she said that it's only right since they're the adults they should give them food), and scared Steven enough he started crying and Wallace had to tell her off bc "why would you make Stevie cry? >:("

Diantha finds out Iris is a dragon master, stares right up at her, goes "Drasna is better than you ouo"

Imagine once they all turn back to normal, Iris and Hau tells them abt how it was dealing w them, and told them the stuff Diantha did and everyone just fucking stares at her and Leon just "you pushed me off the roof???"
