Honestly I think it'd haunt her meeting her villain self hahaha

Iris and Hau, man they honestly pity their villain au selves like, those kids need therapy the most, villain au Iris and Hau probs need the most reassurance out of all of em ngl, like these two are so close to breaking down, and Iris and Hau are trying to like help them too, especially villain au Hau since he's like really contemplating going to Kalos to see Diantha again

Leon, man oh man this guy felt like shit especially knowing what his other self did. Like villain au Leon really up and went and joined Rose instead of actually helping the other champions stop him, but he has to admit even villain au Diantha's methods are wrong, she's just right on trying to stop people like Rose

Geeta would probs be indifferent really, might get a lil envious that villain au Geeta and Diantha are close as fuck (unaware really that it's more on Diantha manipulating Geeta), but y'know, she'd see why everyone would be against villain au Diantha, but she won't ever say that out loud ofc, still her angel, and she'd continue supporting her no matter what

What I love a lot about Not So Secretly Married!au is that there can be so many endings to it.

Raihan accidentally slipping up and calling Ash sweetheart when both get caught out on the streets together by a reporter, they were window shopping for Dawn and Zoeys wedding gift because the girls are finally tying the knot, and Ash had said something sweet yet a little embarrassing so Raihan didn’t notice until everyone paused aroudn them and Raihan’s brain does a quick reboot before he’s basically picking up Ash and either jogging away or full on sprinting.

They just don’t bother telling anyone besides who was there as testaments at the paper signing, like Delia and Nessa because Raihan doesn’t trust his mom or Rose with anything anymore about his personal life, and suddenly everyone’s shocked because Ash is leaning up on his tippy toes and calling Raihan all these affectionate nicknames and how Ash is gonna kick the man’s ass if he doesn’t bend down and give him a freaking kiss I swear to Arceus Raihan- 

My favorite one I thought of so far is that before quarantine forces the airports to shut down flights Ash convinces Raihan to grab his Pokémon along with the ones he’s breeding and bring them up to Kanto so that it would just be Ash and him with their multitude of Pokémon to take care of. Raihan of course is like “spending months of alone quality time with my husband? Who I haven’t seen in like months? When we have literally little to no paper work to do because all leagues are shut down? no one that they might accidentally come out to? AND Team Rocket not coming in and ruining our alone time? Sign me the FUCK UP!!!” And skedaddles up to Kanto to a very happy bunch of Pokémon and an even happier husband who basically jumps Raihan in the damn giant driveway of their literally castle.

Ash still is in contact with the other Champions for safety reasons and to work with their scientists to get a vaccine going and figured out. Raihan is usually outside in the giant maze garden training or just helping keep the Pokémon well kept, something that he actually finds really relaxing besides hiking and reading poems and old history books, so he’s not around for anyone to spot him and make connections. This doesn’t stop the Champions from making this live FaceTime group thing where other people can long on and just watch the other Champions convers with each other and joke, hopefully bringing some calmness and general lack of fear to the people of the world because COVID will pass in time and people just need to adhere to the rules set in place and keep clean. The only big down side is that Ash and by extension Lance couldn’t get the call started later in the day with them, since everyone’s around the worlds and time zones are so different a few people would have to wake up at some extreme early or late times, this causes him and Lance to enter into the call around 2-3 in the morning.

Ash, and Raihan, obviously forgot because they have to plan it but left it up to the much older Champions so that’s the time Lance had sent Ash to enter the call and that he’s sorry that he couldn’t change it to something later for them. Luckily, or unluckily, Ash’s Rotom phone along with the Rotom Dex doesn’t forget and Ash and Raihan are woken up by Rotom phone blinding white screen and suddenly multiple loud voices. Ash is obviously cranky, because he was having a good ass dream and he didn’t want to leave Raihans general vicinity of warmth and into a cold room because the castle in general runs cold at night, Raihan is fucking pissed. Cracking open one of his eyes, blazing bright blue with the blinding light shining down, and he mocks snarls and bares his teeth at the camera before rolling both him and Ash over so that they can get of the brightness and go back to sleep thank you very much.

Only for both Rotoms to follow after them with Rotom phone turning the brightness down and Rotom Dex lamenting about the live FaceTime call. Both Raihan and Ash curse as they scramble apart and Ash slipping onto the floor, wearing obviously only Raihans pajamas, and slinging Raihans dragon hoodie on before almost skidding out of the room and into the cold hallway. He now has to barely comprehend everyone else’s shock along with the sudden lag of the live stream because of the sudden spike of watchers and the paragraphs of comments. Ash pads down the halls and stairways into the kitchen where some of his other Pokémon are trying to sneak into some Poké treats. Ash doesn’t reprimand them, getting the treats down himself to give them a few before going and making coffee and Tea. Completely sure that Raihan is gonna join him later down the line.

And by people freaking out I mean people freaking out. Wallace is excitedly shouting to poor Steven, who was trying to stay asleep at 4:30 in the morning, how their not the only same sex couples while Leon is just staring up at the ceiling with wide eyes and blue screening HARD. Cynthia and Diantha are happy for Ash while Lance is yelling at Alder that he owes him a shiny Druddigon because he was right! The boy doesn’t like girls!

Ash is slightly appalled at the bet between Lader and Lance but doesn’t really make a comment. Now one thing Ash had especially forgotten was to take his wedding ring off his finger before bed, it’s usually on his person around his neck on a thin chain that he hides under his baggy clothes, and he brings his cup of coffee up to his lips and the ring glints in the fluorescent light. It catches Leon’s attention who blurts out that Ash is married??? Since when??? What about Raihan??? Ash obviously curses as everyone goes wild again and there’s another spike of new watchers and the live feed lags even more. Raihan finally waddles down into the giant kitchen, ignoring the two Rotoms completely and smacking kisses onto the top of Ash’s head and handing over an extremely grumpy Pikachu who buried himself into Raihans hoodie and t-shirt.

Leon, or someone else, calls Raihan out. Raihan who’s to tired for any of this bullshit and that he just wants to drag his husband who looks to sinfully good in just Raihans pajamas back to bed answers and says that, yeah, Ash is his husband and then shows off his own ring. They continue to ignore everyone’s comments and keep being up the topics they agreed upon to talk about earlier. News spread fast and it leaves literally everyone but the people that already new in shock.

Another thing about the movies, each main character saw the number 180 before the accident happened and killed them all. Like Flight 180, hearing the number 180 on the radio, and race car 180 for examples

So if we’re going with Diantha seeing everyone’s death in a dream, imagine the thing that convinced her the dream was real was some kind of number or symbol she saw before the ambush happened

Also yeah, imagine the ABSOLUTE guilt Lance, Iris, Cynthia, and Leon (I forgot Hop existed for a minute lmao) felt for choosing to save their family over the other people in their regions. They chose to betray their job as Champions for their family. Perhaps the reason they chose to save their family and not let them die is cause they hoped they’d be able to escape capture?

But back to Diantha, imagine her trying to find a way to get all the Champions to come to Kalos so they’d be safer in numbers. But people like Iris and Wallace can’t because they’re guarding items that Team Rainbow Rocket would want for themselves

Unless of course Diantha just straight up tells all the Champions about what she saw. Calls an emergency meeting in Kalos and pretty much starts with

“So this might be a shock for all of you, but we’re all going to die within the next few days”

“…Diantha what the fuck”

Homegirl wakes up in cold sweat, screaming, crying, almost threw up. Augustine ran to her room asking her what's wrong, worried as fuck, then she pulls him close, hugging him, terrified he'd suddenly disappear, her hands were trembling as she's going on how she'll make sure nothing happens to him and to everyone. Like, mfer is so confused but he's like really trying to calm her down. Imagine how paranoid she'd be, always having one of her mons (yes ofc its Gengar bc I still love this hc) watch over Augustine in Lumiose, making sure Lysandre doesn't get near him, and even spy on Lysandre. Then when she gets to the League she even tries to confront Malva abt it, and ofc that kinda shocked everyone and even Malva bc holy shit they haven't seen Diantha this pissed and terrified. Like, her hands are legit shaking, grabbing Malva by her shoulders, glaring at her, it got to the point Diantha ended up calling her Tyrantrum, the imposing dragon fossil glaring down at everyone. Malva eventually fesses up, she knows damn well Diantha's too pissed to mess w, and despite her always wanting to spite Diantha, she knows if she did rn she'll be the one dying bc she knows the lengths Diantha will go through to make things right.

And god just chdmdb Diantha explaining to them what her dream was, that she was so goddamn sure it was a premonition, and the others were sceptical at first but then again, she managed to find out abt Malva being part of Flare bc of that dream, even told them of Lysandre's plans and him being the head of Flare, and Diantha's starting to spiral again Drasna had to calm her down.

Then ofc, Dia calls in the other Champions, said it was an emergency, and y'know, they came as soon as the call ended bc Dia honestly sounded like she's abt to experience her fifth meltdown for the day and it's only 10 in the am, tbf she is on her fourth meltdown for the day—

When the others got there, Diantha is trying so so hard to calm herself bc Jesus Christ homegirl did not eat anything today bc she was hurrying to the league in a panic and that dream still continues to haunt her, so yeah she's like, at her limit

So she's there, taking deep breaths, and then looks at the other Champions, telling her of the dream, of the premonition she had. And ofc some of them couldn't believe her, especially w how detailed she is abt their deaths and the events that's gonna happen, but like, y'know, even Leon himself said that Rose really acting suspicious lately, even more so than usual, he's been more demanding, more isolated, as if he's planning smth. And ofc, that kinda surprised the other Champions too bc Leon and Diantha don't even get along well, they don't even agree on almost everything, but w Leon showing that he actually believes in what Diantha is saying is enough for the other sceptics to actually believe her, and they should start planning on what to do now bc if not then they're all gonna die

I know you haven’t played any Pokémon games past gen 5-6, but do you know the plot/basic info about Pokémon Legends Arceus?

Cause I had an idea of ALL the champions (or at least some) get eeby deeby-ed to the past in the then Hisuian region. Either before the main character or around the same time as them

Probably happened during a emergency champion meeting, and something was fucking up in the Sinnoh region. But when the group went to investigate they got sent back in time

I just know at least one of them will try befriend an alpha Pokémon but then get attacked by it. Probably Iris or Hau, acting like it’s a cute Pokémon that will love them once they pet it but it would actually gladly bite their hand off

Also Cynthia eventually meeting Volo and Cogita

I shit you not I actually have a PLA au for the Champions back then omf hahahah

But yeah I know the basic plot of PLA, I did watch some playthroughs of it too hahah

I did also have this concept that like,, they were taken in by the different clans and such when they got there, I wanna say they got separated, so like the ones in the Diamond Clan are Diantha, Lance, Geeta, and Iris, and the ones in the Pearl Clan are Steven, Wallace, Leon, and Hau, and Cynthia joined the Ginkgo guild bc yeah she met Volo and wondered why they looked so alike and ofc Volo took her in, she might be useful in his own plans and such yknow, and maybe w her help they can both unravel the mystery of the Celestica people

That'd be dope tho cause imagine Volo going on abt the Celestica people to Cynthia and she's there wondering what happened too and they find all the Old Verses to finally unravel the secrets to what really happened to them

And like,, if Volo did attack the other Champions, imagine how conflicted Cynthia would feel, having to choose the one who took her in when they first got here or the people she just knows she's made bonds w, that she knows are also important to her but she just couldn't figure out why
