I want stepmama!Wanda x reader who are ‘secretly’ dating, but it so fucking obvious everyone low key already knows.

Like you’re turning down nights out with your friends because you already have plans for a ‘movie night’ with your stepmother. What kind of 21 year old is passing up nights at the bar to stay in with their stepmother? Definitely only one that knows they’ll only make it 30 minutes into the movie before she’s getting strapped down so good she won’t be able to walk tomorrow.

You both think you’re acting really normal in public, but you can’t keep your hands off each other. Nobody holds their stepdaughter’s thigh like that while they’re engaged in conversation. Nobody is subconsciously hooking their leg around their stepmother’s when they sit across from her. Nobody whose stepmother is nothing more than their stepmother, at least.

Every time you talk about what a terrible week you’re having, you’re immediately met with the suggestion of “how about we get away this weekend? Just the two of us.” Having a ‘girls weekend’ with your stepmom is perfectly normal, you tell everyone. You leave out the part where you stayed in the honeymoon suite, with one bed and a luxurious bath big enough for two.

Everyone around you thinks it’s a little odd, of course, but who’s gonna actually confront you about sleeping with your stepmother?

Rhaenyra calling Alicent a whore, then spending the next 3 years shunning and being openly hostile towards Alicent= perfectly okay and justified.

Alicent giving Rhaenyra the same treatment (minus calling her a whore). Alicent acknowledging Rhaenyra’s bastards are in fact bastards while in the privacy of her and King’s private apartments and NOT publicly. Nevermind that even during and after the time jump it was a mutual dislike. It’s not like Rhaenyra was weeping at Alicent’s feet for forgiveness and favor the past 10 years. Both didn’t like and talked shit about each other. Both didn’t give a fuck about the other’s children nor wanted a relationship with them- Rhaenyra as a sister, Alicent as a (step)Grandmother. Both had a Knight (Criston and Harwin) willing to do unethical shit for them out of love/adoration.

BUT Criston calls Rhaenyra a cunt, Alicent reprimands.

Daemon calls Alicent whores and cunts, silence on the part of Rhaenyra.

saying that alicent abused rhaenyra is sooo ridicules. because on one hand, TB stans love to talk about how powerless and pathetic and unimportant alicent is, but on the other hand she's also powerful enough to abuse the heir to the throne, and poor rhaenyra is so powerless and weak against her evil stepmama. make it make sense.

alicent and rhaenyra are enemies. in ep 7 rhaenyra literally tries to get alicent accused of high treason & killed by making aemond admit that it was her that told him that the strongs are bastards (but he was too smart to take the bait ;) ) right after luke CUT HER SON'S EYE OUT! at this point the level of hypocrisy and double standards is hilarious.

daemon is allowed to call alicent a c*nt, but when criston does the same and apologizes right after? he hates women!!!!! (and the so called feminist queen didn't seem to care about her husband murdering his first wife ! surely that doesn't sit very well with the feminist agenda!)

kolchis -- HOME OF HOUSE CALAINON, think medieval byzantium/greece || taken from greek mythology, the homeland of medea, the golden fleece, and the cholchean dragon (cholchis)

malakarta – the sun-soaked deserts of the middle east || an invisible realm meets the toll house located between the realm of light and the earth (malakut + matarta)

aarnu -- think egypt: a fertile river running through vast deserts || also known as the field of reeds, the sacred paradise ruled by osiris (aaru)

argadara – a whole country of vast mountains in the fantasy!himalayas || a legendary land located at the core of the earth meets a sacred mountain in the puranas (agartha + mount mandara)

xangadu – the most hospitable part of china basically -- their governing body was called a blogring ;D jk jk no but fr s/o to xanga rip || the mythologized summer capitol of kublai khan, used to represent opulence and splendor (xangdu/xanadu)

aotepo -- sort of pictured a chain of tropical islands! which is also interesting bc i feel like roderick's navy is kinda. ehhh so they def got a work out w this one! def think this was one of the more recent conquests too! || the polynesian realm of light meets its realm of darkness and the ancestors (ao + te po)

alytar – HOME OF HOUSE VASILIEVA, think medieval russia || taken from slavic myth where it is the navel of the earth, a rocky and sacred place, marked w ancient runes and endowed with healing powers (alatyr)

affaraon -- tis scotland ;D and, as such, i was thinking this was possibly a neighbor to astaira? || also known as the immortal land and the 'city of higher powers,' and the 'ambrosial city,' it is the legendary home of a sect of druids dedicated to metallugry and alchemy and is said to be located somewhere in scotland (dinas affaraon/ffaraon)

I love both AUs but I slightly lean words stepmama Stark cause I like to imagine Daemon being his kinda Valyrian supremacist self but the second someone talks shit about the Starks like them being "northern tree-worshiping savages" it's on site. No one talks about his stepmama or baby bro in that way.

It's heartwarming in a hypocritical way.

Daemon is one of the biggest hypocrites in Westeros, he brags about his Valyrian ancestry, but kills whoever mocks his stepmother and little brother.

Now imagine whenever Daemon is exiled he just goes to his stepmother and instead of comfort, he gets the scolding of his life.
