Time for the official announcement!

Thank you all for your patience and enthusiasm. A year ago on July 14th, 2020 I created this blog. I stayed off tumblr for so many years, but you have all given me such a warm welcome. This website is the reason for the so-called “Twilight Renaissance” and I am beyond grateful. As a token of gratitude I am making this announcement here on tumblr.com long before I announce it anywhere else.

So without further ado, I am pleased to announce that I will be releasing another book called Retrograde! This time from Mike Newton’s perspective! I can’t tell you all of the detail, even though I would love to, but I can tell you a little bit. You all fell in love with my characters, so I wanted to give you a chance to see what they’re up to these days.

Twenty five years after the events of Breaking Dawn, a middle-aged Mike Newton enjoys a perfectly normal life with his family in Juneau, Alaska. However, that all changes when he recognizes the new students his children go to school with.

And here is the cover!

I hope you are not upset that this cover steps away from the traditional cover scheme. After all, it wouldn’t make sense for Mike Newton to be represented by black and red.

Book Theory/Review: Life and Death

Hey guys, 

Have you read the book Life and Death by Stephanie Meyers? The woman who wrote the Twlight series. Well, the book Life and Death is a reversebend book of the first Twilight book. Bella is now Beau, Edward is now Edythe (I think that’s how you spell the name), and Jacob is Julie. Honestly, I found it very interesting. I’ll probably re-read it some time later. 

But it got me thinking, since Bella is now Beau and Edward is now Edythe, there is no Renesmee. In the last book of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. During their honeymoon, Bella realizes she is pregnant and realizes it is possible for humans and vampires to have children. If the woman is human because they change and form. And the man is a vampire. It is not possible for a female vampire to pregnant becuase they can not get pregnant, they can not change. So, it only makes since that human Bella gets pregnant. But now since Bella is Beau, and Edward is Edythe. Renesmee won’t be a Robert or a Roy or a Rusty. She wouldn’t exist at all. 

At the end of the book Life and Death, Beau becomes a vampire. There was a funreal for him and we meet the werewolves because they found out that the Cullens (well not the Cullens, James, Joss) turned Beau into a vampire. So it’s only a matter of time until Julie turns into a werewolf and finds out the truth. That Beau isn’t dead and is a vampire. And she’ll probably hate him, maybe? But everything is different in this world. All I know that will probably stay the same is the war that Victoria (Victor) starts. But the Voltari wouldn’t have an excuse to fight them. I wish there was a Eclipse version of this story. 

I have so many questions, 

1. Would there still be a love triangle, once Julie realizes Beau is still the person he was? 

2. Who will Julie imprint? 

3. Will Julie turn into a werewolf? Or will one of her brothers turn into a werewold? (I’m pretty sure Sam, still Sam, turned into a werewolf.) 

I know all of my questions pretty much involves Julie, but I’m worried for her. I’m worried about the triagnle!!!!!!! Is no one else worried??? What’s going to happen to them??? I really wish we get like an explantion, I don’t need a book. I just need some kind of interview and she tells us what would happen. I need to know what would happen. 

I either saw an interview or read a blog post or something that told us Stephanie Meyers will write two more books in the Twilight world. I think it said something about it being more about the werewolves. If the one of the two books would be about Leah imprinting someone. And since she’s in Jacob’s pack, we will see Jacob and the others.

Say what you will about @stephanie.a.meyer and @twilight, this dedication in @midnightsuntwilightsaga from @littlebrown moved me to tears. I remember being a young teenager with a heart full of so many hopes and a mind given over to frequent daydreams. Pandemic aside, my reality is so much more beautiful than I ever imagined. Most pertinent is the fact that I am now a librarian and every day I get to watch people discover a love for worlds and words like the one @stephanie.a.meyer created for my young hopeful self. I’ve been in such a Twilight mood lately. Like all i want to do is curl up in bed with some Domino’s & read all the books & then watch all the movies 😩. But I’m trying to hold out until Midnight Sun comes out. • • This saga will always have such a special place in my heart. I remember growing up internally debating with myself whether I was Team Jacob or Team Edward & ughhh I just love both so much, but I’ll always be Team Edward!! • • This was one of the first book series that I ever purchased & I remember getting them at a flea market & all the books were old & torn up. The first one didn’t even have a cover (my dad threw this book out 😭). But I loved them so much even though I don’t like abused books. I think I’ll always keep these books. I am planning on getting a new collection, maybe the white covered ones because they look so cool with the red. 📖✨ Forks guys were in awe of Bella. And that's a wonder for most of readers since Bella (as they say) has "no personality". The thing is, the story was told in Bella's pov. And it seems like she doesn't have a very high opinion of herself.
