what would thw romanians do to their mate being horny 24/7
Ah the Romanian coven, we meet again
Vladimir
Probably needs someone like this honestly
Help him take a break from plotting and trying to be on the run at the same time
Pretends he hates it and will push you off of him jokingly
But mainly it’s because he likes to take charge and would rather be the one to decide when you both can have some fun
Stefan
Good
He thoroughly enjoys this
Absolutely also horny 24/7
He will tell you when you have to take a break but honestly he’s tired of running and is willing to settle down
In his mind it’s a great way to pass the time

I know you said only Volturi but I need an answer for this question (if you could, please). Do you think the Romanian have little to no money, or loads of money hidden away somewhere? And is it in one place or all over (the world)?
I tend to think of the Romanians the same way I do as the Volturi when it comes to money: they have a lot of expensive items, ancient artifacts, etc—that would be worth a lot of money if they were looking to sell, but they're hoarders collectors so the financial gain is nothing compared to the sentimentality they hold for said items.
Which is to say the Volturi have a safe, stable location to collect sentimentalities to their hearts desire (and many scattered smaller bases all over.) Stephan and Vladimir are nomadic in nature, and constantly move place to place.
Because of that, moving is a huge hassle, especially with travelling, insurance, paperwork, etc, so a lot of expensive luxuries are not realistic for them to deal with. They used to have a lot more than they used to, but have been known to trade antiques for cash just to move to a new place.
Basically, some of the items the two of them have could potentially be worth millions to the right people (mostly historical value), but their emotional attachments to them mean too much to them, so they manage to scrape by on what money they save and steal.

tell me carlisles and esmes thoughts on the romanians please. love your blog.
hi! this ask has been in my inbox since like last year (heh) so I am incredibly sorry about that 😬😂 and aw thank you! that's very sweet of you to say 😊♥️
I feel like Carlisle is the kind of guy that just,,,,likes people without consideration and has that odd ability to make friends with literally anyone no matter how odd the pairing. like, the best description I've seen on this site of him is that he's friend shaped, so people just seem to like him without really knowing why, they just end up friends with him without making the decision (case in point: Alistair). He's the capybara of the vampire world. he's chill with almost every single major coven, and they consider him a good friend. So when it comes to the Romanians, Carlisle probably turned up at one point, saw the creepy castles and scary onion looking vampires and thought 'yeah, they seem like friends' and somehow managed to make the most reclusive coven to exist like him enough to turn up at his house and give him a hand with the Volturi as well as seeing an opportunity to bump Aro off. So Carlisle probably just sees them as a little intense, but overall good friends
Esme on the other hand probably isn't the fondest of them. she thinks they're quite morbid and very doom and gloom, and she doesn't really trust them/like the kids alone with them or sparring with them, but at this point she's used to the extremely varied types of people her dear husband has somehow convinced to like him. it's like a cat bringing back rats and birds or even other stray cats back to the owner like 'look what I found! can we keep it?' and Esme being used to it at this point just shrugs and goes along with it
when they arrived to help with the volturi in bd I think the two of them were just relieved to have as many people as they could on their side and we're happy to see anyone at that point
thank you for this ask! feel free to send in more 😊

The Irish coven reached Forks in just three days. On their arrival, the Cullens where there to welcome them with open arms. Melody liked the Cullens, even though she found their diet to be odd. How they could resist their nature of feeding on humans? It was odd but at the same time she had quite respect for the vampires, holding on to their beliefs.   Carlisle made his way towards the coven with a smile on his face.   "I am glad you could come, my dear friend." Carlisle spoke to Siobhan. Siobhan responded his smile with one of her own.   "We would like to see the child Carlisle." she replied.   "Of course. Come inside." Carlisle said as he led them inside his house. Once inside, Melody was hit with the stench of wet dogs. She scrunched up her nose in disgust.   "You will get used to it." Edward replied seeing Melody's facial expression.   "I sure hope so. This is absolutely revolting" Melody replied. She looked around the room and saw at least 18 other vampires standing in the room along with some werewolves. The eye colour of the vampires where ranging from gold to red and some even had black eyes. Clearly, they had forgotten to feed before they reached the Cullens. Melody let her crimson eyes scan the room and let then fall on an unknown vampire. A fair woman with dark gold eyes was standing next to Edward, his arm protectively around her waist. So, this must be Bella, Melody thought to herself. Bella had her hands protectively on the shoulders of a young girl who looked to be around the age of 8. She was angel like just like a vampire, yet she could hear her small heartbeat and the redness on her cheeks from her blood pumping through her veins. Melody could even smell the child's blood from here, pleasant smell of lilies and honey.   "This is Renesmee. She is the biological child of Edward and Bella. Bella gave birth to her when she was still a human." Carlisle explained as he nodded his head to Bella. Bella slowly removed her hands from Renesmee's shoulders, keeping a good eye on the new vampires. Especially since they all had red eyes. Renesmee slowly made her way towards the Irish coven and gently laid her hand on Siobhan's cheek. Siobhan gasped and soon Renesmee turned to the rest of the coven, showing them all her memories. She finally turned to Melody. Melody never really liked physical contact and was hesitant to let this unknown, hybrid child touch her cheek.   "It is fine Melody. Nothing bad will happen." Edward reassured her. Melody sighed and bent down slightly so Renesmee could put her hand on Melody's cheek. Melody gasped as she saw the memories of Renesmee in her mother's womb and the first thing she saw and thought when she was born. Melody pulled away amazed. This child was extraordinary.   "Maggie? What do you think?" Siobhan asked. Maggie was a lie detector and the Irish clan mostly relied on her ability while making decisions.   "They are speaking the truth." She replied. Siobhan nodded her head.   "Very well then Carlisle. We will witness for you against the Volturi." Siobhan said.   "And fight if we have too." Maggie added.   "I hope this will all end without a battle." Siobhan replied. Melody relaxed. If Siobhan wanted the confrontation to go without a fight, it would go without a fight. Siobhan had this gift she could use to manipulate the outcome of many confrontations and situations. Carlisle smiled.   "I am grateful for that. My whole family is grateful for that."   The next day every vampire was in the woods, showing off their skills. Melody just sat on a rock, watching everyone. Bella tried to expand her shield so she would be able to protect her allies. A few new vampires had arrived, including two Romanian vampires: Stephan and Vladimir whom kept on eyeing Melody the whole time. Melody wasn't sure as to why, but she didn't bother questioning it. After everyone had practiced their skills people started to head back to the Cullens house.   "Wait a minute. Our dear wallflower hasn't showed us what gift she possesses." Vladimir said, his bright red eyes piercing through Melody.   "That is
because I do not have a gift. I am just a regular vampire." Melody replied, piercing her crimson eyes right back into Vladimir's. Vladimir chuckled.   "And we should believe that. You agreed to a possible fight, I believe we at least ought to know your gift so we can use it to our advantage in battle." Melody glared at him, but many vampires seemed to agree with him. Melody sighed.   "If she doesn't want to show her gift then that is up to her. We are grateful she is willing to put her life at risk just to safe my daughter." Edward replied, sensing Melody's discomfort.    "He does have a point though. How can we know her gift isn't going to turn against us." Garrett replied and more agreements could be heard. Siobhan, Liam and Maggie rushed in front of Melody, protecting her from any possible harm. Melody sighed and stood up.   "It's alright. It is not like my power is useful in a battle for anyone else but myself." Melody said, trying to calm her coven down. Siobhan frowned slightly but took a step back. Melody concentrated and slowly felt her body grow lighter and made itself into a dark mist. Many vampires gasped slightly.   "I can no longer smell her." Stephan whispered to Vladimir. Melody slowly drifted up but stayed in the shade, where she was no longer visible. Melody crept up a tree and floated above a thick branch, slowly making her body normal again. Many vampires were looking around, trying to see where Melody had gone. Melody chuckled and jumped down behind the group of vampires.   "See? It is mainly used for when I don't want to be found or attacked. In my mist form no one can touch me, either physical or with their gift. I can only use it for my own protection." She explained as she made her way back to her coven. Siobhan put a protecting arm around Melody's shoulders.  "Have you seen enough?" Siobhan asked Vladimir, spitting venom. Vladimir looked at Melody with a calculating look on his face but nodded his head.   That evening a bonfire was made. Stories where told and songs would be sung. But everyone knew what the possibility was for tomorrow's outcome. And Melody feared not just for her life, but for the lives of her coven. The vampires whom have treated her as family for over 300 years. She was sure being a nomad was no longer an option for her, as she had grown fondly to the idea of having a home, a family. Yet even her own family never knew her secret. A secret that has been haunting her for years. A secret she didn't even understand. Melody's hand made its way into her pocket, feeling the necklace still laying securely in there. Melody shook her head slightly and continued listening to the many fascinating stories of the vampires that were willing to tell their past, trying to push her worries for tomorrow aside.

romanian coven x mate who struggles with mental health?thanks bb
God I know these make me sound so mean but I did warn you all
Vladimir
Mental health? What is that?
No seriously if anyone needs therapy, it’s him
But he’s fine
So if he’s fine and worked through everything he’s been through then surely you are fine
Explaining that just because he’s objectively been through more doesn’t mean you’re not struggling
It mostly goes out one ear and out the other
When you’re having a bad day, he thinks you just need to stop thinking about what makes you sad, yeah he’s actually said that at one point
But he doesn’t push you to do anything you don’t want to either and lets you kinda feel your feelings but he doesn’t know what to do and keeps to himself
Stefan
Doesn’t really get it but whatever you say you need he will try and provide whatever you need
Except space
You’re stuck with him all day if you say you need space
But if you try to talk about he will say it’s isn’t that bad so i would just beware of that conversation
Other than that he’s very attentive and very affectionate whenever you’re struggling

Can I request hc’s for the Romanians with a newborn mate?
This is probably their favorite time lol imagine the chaos and them egging you on???
Tumblr media
Vladimir
This guy has a bit of an ego lol
So I imagine that he try’s to “help” you adjust by making up weird competitions for you both to try
This honestly also keeps you out of trouble because you are focusing on one thing at a time
You end up beating him in everything which makes him pout
If you’re gifted it honestly makes him think if it would help him and Stephan defeat the volturi, just for a little bit
I think I’ve said this before but I think if it even remotely out you in danger they would stop trying to be menaces to the volturi
Also I feel like based on what SMeyer has said about vampire mates their mates probably were only figureheads since they boasted having human slaves but that’s another story and opinion you are his first true mate so you keep him on his toes
He also enjoys all your newfound energy to do any uhm extracurricular activities 😗😗
Finds it super sexy when you come back a bloody mess after your first meal
Can’t blame him, you’re a dime bb 😘
After he loses any challenges he comes up with he makes Stephan try and beat you too, he doesn’t and Stephan actually gets his ego bruised but then he beats Vladimir at something and now Vlad is upset
You try to comfort him but he has to remind you how he’s the porcelain one for a bit
Teaches you everything you need to know you won’t be breaking any rules with him by your side
Stefan
He’s definitely prepared much more prior to your transformation
Both you and himself as he hasn’t properly dealt with a newborn in awhile, he doesn’t count Bella
Tries to show you the best way to hunt but your instincts kick in and he can’t help laugh a bit because darling you look a bit messy
Smile quickly fades when you try and kiss him with blood all over you, he does not want any of that in his hair or clothes but you’re faster so you do in fact end up kissing him everywhere and he just kind of scrunches his face, kinda cute ngl
Likes to brag to Vladimir about how much better you are, vlad just rolls his eyes until it’s over
Honestly Stefan would probably try and hide that you were gifted from even Vladimir because he’s always been the more revenge seeking one
He has no interest in anything besides you anymore so as proud as he is of you he probably would try and downplay in front of everyone else but you would know how he actually feels because he isn’t one to hide anything from you
Also enjoys the newborn energy to have more fun jumping on the bed and whatnot
Is excited he doesn’t have to worry about you hurting yourself or hun hurting you
Now he likes to tease you because you’re a ‘baby’ vampire to tule you up because he still thinks it’s cute when you get angry

Just loved the Romanian headcanons, can I ask for fluff headcanons about them?
I’m glad I did them some justice not sure what to write for them so I hope this kind of works lol
How the Romanians handle Mates Grief
Vladimir
You knew when you signed up for immortal life that this was part of the deal
But when the member of your family that you were really close to passed away it hit you hard
Vladimir knew it was coming and while he could protect you from pretty much everything he wasn’t really sure how to handle this
You knew that he wasn’t great about talking about his feelings so you kinda shut down
He does try and get you talk about things and you blow up about him needing to leave you alone. Throwing a vase at him or something
He goes over and holds you as tight as he can
You try to fight him off but he’s stronger than you
Now you’re just half screaming half sobbing on the ground for him to let you go and he doesn’t obviously
Meanwhile he’s whispering in your ear that it’s going to be okay
You eventually give in and let him just hold you
He starts humming and you focus on his voice as he’s holding you
He’s is much more laid back than usual after this especially until you’ve been able to go through the whole process
The two of you spending more time alone with him reassuring you that everything will be okay
He is terrified you regret choosing him and choosing this life which you don’t but he is your biggest support regardless
Stefan
Before you can even register the news he takes far into the mountains
There he lets let out whatever you’re feeling
You can break any boulders uproot any trees you might find
Then he will ask you if you need advice or just support
You choose support and he will sit with you until the sun goes down and you’re ready to head back
He’s not usually the affectionate one so struggles to figure out how to approach this without using words
But when you get back and go to your shared room he will lay with you and pull you close to his chest
He lets you know he will be there for as long as you need and as long as you’ll have him

Amnesia (Book Three)(Part Three)
Tumblr media
Revenge
It had been very empty. Maeryn had no idea what to do with herself. When Felix told her Alec was dead, she was empty. But she had noticed something else as well. She no longer felt loyal towards Aro as she used to feel. She guessed because he was dead and now the Volturi had no longer a leader. As a matter of fact, it no longer existed . Her whole coven was gone in just mere hours. She was one of the remaining ones alive, but she knew she was hunted on. She had to be alert, but at the same time she wanted to end it all. Perhaps it was alright if the Romanians came back for her, to kill her off. At least then she would be with Alec, even real hell would be better than staying here without him. Empty. “Maeryn, come on. You have to hunt.” Felix said. Maeryn just laid on her side like she had been for the past three weeks. She never moved. The thought of hunting made her throat dry and burning with the desire, but she couldn’t feel the mental energy to get up. “If you hunt I will have a surprise for you. Come on. It will be fun.” Felix said. Maeryn sighed, her first sigh in three weeks, and finally sat up. “Fine. Let’s go then.” Drenthe had many forests, and many ways for people to get lost and not be found. So they started the hunt. They soon found two hikers with their dog. A woman and a man. The thing was, Maeryn didn’t feel that comfortable killing anymore. She took a closer look and realised these two humans looked a lot like her birthparents. The woman had thick, black, curling hair that fell beautifully around her pale, oval face. Her eyes where as green as the forest around her and she was thin and short. The man on the other hand was tall, he had a slightly tanned skin and had deep blue eyes. His hair was graying but streaks of his dirty blond hair was still visible. He was well build, maybe slightly overweight but due to his tall figure, his extra weight was well spread over his body. And then there was their little dog. A beautiful, blond Labrador. His coat was shiny and had different shades of yellow. His beautiful brown eyes showed he loved life, and he was curious for the different smells he smelt on the trees and the sounds he heard. Of course his hearing was much better than a human’s hearing, so he had heard the deer a couple trees away, but he didn’t even think twice about leaving his humans. “Ready?” Felix whispered. But Maeryn couldn’t do it. She shook her head no and ran off. Why she couldn’t do it was simple. It would feel like killing her parents all over again. Of course she knew this wasn’t her parents, but they looked so much alike that she couldn’t even bear the thought. She came into a meadow and collapsed onto the ground, her arms hugging her body, sobbing dry tears. Dry tears for Alec, and for her parents she had totally forgotten about the past eleven years. She had learned that humans are worthless. They had no greater purpose than to feed on. And for a very long time she believed it. But now, she was doubting herself. She made the decision to at least no longer kill innocent humans. Only the trash. No one would miss them. No one. Felix ran to her and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. “Are you alright?” he asked. The same phrase he had been repeating lately, trying to help her at least continue her life the best way she could without her mate. Felix never had a mate so he wasn’t very familiar with the feeling himself. Of course he had seen the impact it had on Marcus but he never could imagine the feeling of losing your other half. “They looked so much like my parents, Felix. So much. Even the dog resembled my old dog. I just couldn’t. I simply couldn’t.” she said. Felix sighed. “Come on then. Let’s go to Amsterdam and grab some pimps and junkies. How about that?” he said. Maeryn nodded her head and followed Felix to the Dutch city of sin. Maeryn groaned in satisfaction as she dropped the pimp on the ground, completely drained from his blood. “Feeling better?” Felix asked. Maeryn nodded her head. “Much better. So tell me, what is the surprise? You have my full attention.” Maeryn
said as Felix and her made their way back to the cabin. “Well, how about a little revenge?” he asked, a huge smirk plastered on his face. Maeryn looked at him confused. “What do you mean by that, Felix?” “I mean that I happen to know that Vladimir and Stephan are here, in the Netherlands. They are in Rotterdam trying to gain more vampires for their new forming reign.” Felix explained. Maeryn stopped dead in her track and smirked. “Let’s go then.” Maeryn followed Felix and soon a huge mansion came in view. It was white, with a black roof. Ivy was growing on the sides of it, leaving the windows open. There was a huge fountain before the entrance and a fence that protected the property. Maeryn and Felix climbed over the fence and quietly made their way into the mansion. Maeryn felt her energy flowing back through her body. The thought of killing her mate’s killers was exciting and the thought of their dead was very satisfying indeed. Felix killed the guards before they could alarm the owners and Maeryn quietly climbed into the attic. The attic was empty, apart from a few very old paintings in paper wrap to protect them from the damage of time. Maeryn walked around the mansion and found that the owners where not home yet. So Maeryn decided to be dramatic and grabbed a bag of blood from the fridge and poured it in two of the remaining wine glasses. “Better have a drink while we wait.” She said as she gave Felix a glass. Felix chuckled and took the glass, quickly taking a sip. “Hmm, AB. And quite a good one that is. No traces of alcohol, nicotine or drugs.” Felix said. Maeryn took a small sip and the cooled liquid quenched her thirst slightly. She indeed could taste that the blood was really clean. It was delicious. She quickly took another sip and sat down on the sofa chair. She crossed her legs and waited patiently while playing with her glass, occasionally taking a sip. Then the moment came where the two vampires had been waiting for. Stephan and Vladimir walked in, ready to attack. Without a doubt had they smelled the two hostile vampires on their property and they were very cautious. None of them possessed any special talents and Maeryn was sure to kill them quickly with her gift. “Welcome home gentleman. Drink?” she asked as she poured another bag of blood into the last two remaining wine glasses. The two vampires where frozen in their place. “Oh come now. I first like to have a small chat over a drink. We have much to discuss.” Maeryn said as she stood up, grabbed the two glasses and held them out for Vladimir and Stephan to take. They hissed slightly and Felix cracked his knuckles. “If you’d like to live, you will take that drink and sit down.” He said threatening. Vladimir and Stephan shared a quick look before they took the glasses and sat down on the couch, opposite of the sofa. In between the sofa chair and the couch was a coffee table made of glass. “So, now that we can have a polite conversation, I would like to ask you a few questions. First off, where are Tanya and Kate?” Maeryn asked, taking a small sip of blood from her glass. “They are dead. We disposed of them. Weird ones with their weird diet. They are quite a shame to the vampire world.” Vladimir said. “Hmm. Too bad.” Maeryn said and she let a short silence fall between them. The tension was clearly feel able in the room but no one dared to break it yet. “Who where your allies besides them and who survived?” Maeryn asked after a few seconds. “Basically everyone who also was there the 31st of December back in 2006. Except for the Cullens. They refused to play a part in this war. I guess they never did any of us any harm, so we let them be.” Stephan said. “For a coven of that magnitude, they are sure very peaceful. They just wished to live in peace.” Vladimir said, admiration gleaming slightly through his words. So Cullens had no part in her mate’s death. “How many survived?” Maeryn asked very calmly. “Almost no one. The amazon clan went back to their home afterwards, along with the Irish coven and French coven. Gerratt is still out there.
We have no idea what happened to him. He fled after Kate died, after first putting his head back on his body, of course.” Stephan said quickly, feeling the threat growing. Maeryn nodded her head and took another sip of her blood. The two vampires on the couch hadn’t even drank a single drop of blood. They knew that the chances of survival was slim. “Hmm. It is sad actually.” She said calmly. Stephan and Vladimir shared a look of fear before Vladimir softly asked. “What is?” “That your answers where not really satisfying.  Meaning I will make your death as slow as I possibly can.” Maeryn stood up and dropped the glass, spilling blood on the white, fluffy carpet that laid beneath the coffee table. Vladimir and Stephan hissed and jumped up, but Felix grabbed both of them and made them kneel down, just like Kate made Alec kneel down when they killed him. Maeryn smirked and watched the two vampire’s struggle under Felix’s strong grip. “So, who will have the honour to live the longest? After all, you will go down in history as the last, remaining member of the Romanian coven. Exciting, isn’t it? Knowing that a coven who survived for centuries is about to end, for good. Oh, how I am going to savour this moment for the rest of my existence.” A small, girlish giggle escaped Maeryn’s lips. But it did not sound pleasant at all. No. It sounded evil. This was the giggle of a woman who was about to avenge her mate. “Well, let’s see. Stephan you held me down while Vladimir here ripped Alec’s head off. So I guess it only seems fair that he will get the honour, don’t you think?” she asked in a sugar sweet voice. Stephan growled and tried to break free of Felix’s grip but to no avail. Maeryn smirked. “Now them. Let’s really get down to business, shall we Stephan?” Maeryn said as she held her hand out in front of her, her hand open. She felt her rage fill her body, making it feel warm as her gift slipped through it to the palm of her hand and fingertips. She locked her gift on Stephan’s body and kept him there. Very slowly, she closed her hand, feeling his life flow out of his body and into her hand. Stephan was barely alive, cracks forming all over his body and face. Maeryn felt his life in her palm, and she slowly closed her hand completely, crushing his life and his body. All that there was left was a pile of ash. Maeryn smirked, feeling very satisfied as she turned to Vladimir. The one who had done the deed and had ripped her mate’s head off. He looked at the pile of dust that had been his most loyal companion for centuries just mere seconds ago. And he knew that it would not take long before he too would lay in a small pile of ashes. Vladimir realised in that moment that he had killed the wrong mate. Maeryn was still fairly young, but the love she had for Alec was amazingly large. Vladimir knew that there was nothing he could do about it and closed his eyes. He imagined that he would soon lay back in his beautiful mate’s arms. The one that had been taken away from him many centuries ago. In the last battle with the Volturi before only Stephan and he where left. Vladimir slowly felt the cracks forming, he felt them breaking every limb in little pieces. It hurt really bad. Not even vampire venom was this painful. He could feel every little crack from, and then the most painful moment of his life happened, but shorty is was all black around him as his body was no longer more than a pile of ashes. Maeryn felt really satisfied and Felix smiled. “Come on. Let’s go. Oh, and remind me to never get on your bad side.” Maeryn laughed. “I will.” “So are you sure? We could travel together if you’d like?” Felix asked. Maeryn had decided she wanted to see the world for her own. She wished to be alone for a while. Maybe a few decades. “I am sure Felix. I need this. Besides, I will make sure to contact you as much as I can.” She promised. Then, Felix did something he had never done before. He carefully hugged her small frame. Maeryn was shocked but slowly responded the hug by wrapping her own arms around his waist. “Be careful out there. I
will miss you little one.” He said as he brotherly placed a kiss on top of her head. “I will miss you too.” She said before letting go. She gave him one last smile and then she ran off. Off to see the world for her own.

Amnesia (Book Three)(Part Two)
Tumblr media
Empty
Alec made his way towards the training room. Not to practice, but for a small meeting. When he opened the door, Felix, Demetri and Jane where already waiting for him. Jane was standing with a perfect straight posture, hands together in front of her. Felix and Demetri on the other hand where leaning against some of the props, having a quiet conversation. Alec closed the door behind him and joined the small group of the guard. “Brother, what is going on? Where is Maeryn?” Jane asked. “I wanted to discuss something regarding Maeryn.” He said while Demetri and Felix looked at him, waiting patiently for what he has to say. Truthfully, Maeryn had gained a special place in the hearts of the other two guards. “Which is?” Demetri asked. “We all know that our quiet days will most likely be soon over. Aro, Marcus and Caius where discussing it. More vampires are gathering. They think a war is coming soon.” Alec started. “What has this to do with Maeryn?” Felix asked. “I wanted to ask you, when the time comes, to keep her safe. They would want her dead, especially because she has a very powerful gift. She is a threat. When a war breaks out, they will surely come after Jane and I. We have cause to many trouble and deaths, but Maeryn has barely touched anyone. I just ask for you to keep her alive, especially you Felix.” Alec continued. “Don’t you think they won’t come after me as much as they come after you?” Felix asked. “I know they will, but Demetri is a greater target, because he can track them down. Besides you are the strongest vampire there is. I am sure you can keep her safe.” Felix nodded his head. “So, what is the plan, brother?” Jane asked. It had been a relatively quiet day in the castle. Truth be told, it had been a relatively quiet month. Alec and Maeryn had shared the wonderful news of their engagement. Aro was thrilled with the news, Marcus was bored as always and Caius simply congratulated the couple. Over all, the whole guard was happy for them but everyone’s excitement was quite cool. As if they were worried. Admittedly, Maeryn also felt a kind of threat hanging around the castle, as if something bad was about to happen. Maeryn had been in quite deep thoughts, when suddenly, two strong and familiar arms wrapped around her waist. “Good evening, amore mio.” Alec whispered softly in her ear. Maeryn smiled and leaned back into his arms. “Good evening.” She whispered back. She turned her head around slightly so she could lay a small peck on his lips. She was about to pull away when his hand cupped her face and he pulled her closer to him. It was a passionate kiss, but also a demanding one. He kissed her as if it would be their last. Maeryn smiled slightly against his lips as her head went blank. Something that always happened when Alec kissed her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss slightly when suddenly a loud bang could be heard. Maeryn pulled away. “What was that?” she asked worried. “I don’t know.” Alec said and he ran out of the room towards where the bang was heard. Maeryn followed.
The bang came from the throne room. What Maeryn saw was horrifying. Dozens of vampires where fighting the Volturi. But there was not much time to watch the scene unfold. Soon three vampires started attacking her and Alec. Maeryn quickly dodged them and used her gift to quickly destroy them. She quickly tried to see where Alec was but she couldn’t find him. More vampires attacked her. Two grabbed her arms while another jumped onto her back, trying to rip her head off. Maeryn growled and used her gift to push the three vampires off of her while Felix ran to her and got rid of the one on her back. Maeryn ripped the heads off of the other two, not even bothering with her gift. She was thankful for the combat training she received all these years while being a member of the Volturi. Her gift was fast, but it had been slightly too slow when it came to larger groups of vampires at once, and many where targeting her right now. More and more vampires came and attacked them. Even the three elders where fighting. Yes even Marcus. Felix tried to keep many vampires off her but there were too many. Every member of the coven needed to fight their own fights. Maeryn saw Jane struggling and kicked the vampire who was running towards into the wall and went to help Jane. The vampire was about to rip Jane’s head off when Maeryn concentrated and used her gift. The vampire soon froze in his spot as cracks quickly started to form in his skin, and soon he vanished into a pile of ashes. “Thank you.” Jane said relieved. “My pleasure.” Maeryn said, but soon she felt a vampire pulling her hair. Small cracks where forming on her forehead and cheek. Jane saw this and quickly used her gift while Demetri came, ripping the head off of the vampire. Maeryn rubbed her head while the cracks quickly healed. “Thank you Demetri.” Maeryn said. Demetri nodded his head and continued the fight. Maeryn tried to find Alec while continuing fighting the intruders. Maeryn recognised a few of them. She recognised the Denali sisters Tanya and Kate along with Kate’s mate Garrett , the Amazon coven, Kachirir, Zafrina and Senna, the Egyptian coven, Amun, Kebi, Benjamin and Tia and many more covens who the Volturi has been a threat to. Tanya attacked Maeryn, but Maeryn was fast and grabbed Tanya by her arm and smashed in her head. Kate saw this and quickly made her way towards Maeryn but Demetri was fast and pushed Kate away. Garrett growled and started to fight Demetri. Admittedly, Garrett was a good fighter and Demetri was having trouble fighting him off. Garrett had almost defeated Demetri when Alec used his gift and made Garrett blind. Demetri used this to his advantage and ripped Garrett’s head off. Kate growled in pain and started attacking Demetri. She kicked him away and turned to Alec. Alec was using his gift but he was not fast enough. Kate grabbed him by his neck and used her gift on full power. Alec kneeled down on his knees in pain. Vladimir and Stephan from the Romanian coven walked towards Kate as she held Alec down. Stephan grabbed Maeryn tightly and made her look at Alec. Vladimir, Stephan and Kate smiled in victory at each other while Vladimir grabbed Alec’s head with both hands from behind. “I have been waiting for centuries for this moment. Go ahead. Look at your mate one last time. Know that when you die, you couldn’t do anything to save her. Remember. You brought her into our world. Innocent in a way. But she will also pay for her actions, the same as how you and your evil spawn of a sister will pay for yours.” Maeryn seemed paralysed and could no longer move as she watched her mate kneel down. His burgundy eyes looked into her crimson ones. Time seemed to go a lot slower. The love they shared between them seemed to explode. Every moment together, from the very first moment they had laid eyes on each other back when she was 15 years old, when Maeryn was human until the last kiss they shared, they could both feel. Love. That is what these two vampires shared. But that love was about to end soon. No more kisses. No more soft touches. No more rough
touches. No more small arguments. No more laying in each other’s arms. And then, there was the sound of metal being teared apart, and Alec’s head was no longer on his body. Vladimir and Stephan threw Alec’s head towards Maeryn and smirked in Triumph as Alec’s head rolled in front of Maeryn. Maeryn was frozen, she couldn’t do anything else but to look at her mate’s severed head while his body fell down to the ground. The light had vanished from Alec’s eyes. And with that the light in Maeryn’s life had vanished. Empty. That was all she felt at that moment. Empty. Maeryn was about to fall to the ground when Felix grabbed her. “Felix go!” Maeryn heard Jane scream. “You know where to find us!” Felix yelled as he picked Maeryn up and started to run. Maeryn remained in a state of disbelief. The one person she gave herself to, everything she ever owned, ever loved was gone. Felix kept running, fighting off many other vampires who wanted to kill the two of them. He eventually escaped the castle and ran. He ran all the way towards the Netherlands, Drenthe to be exact. Maeryn vaguely recognised it. It used to be her mother’s favourite holiday destination. She remember walking with her parents and their dog, Max. Felix ran deep into the forest and soon found a small cottage. It was made of oak wood, with a dark oak wood roof. A small stream of water passed besides the cottage, ending in a small pond where fish where swimming calmly. There was a small chimney on top of the roof. By the frontdoor, there were a few chairs with table. It looked rather cosy. Felix grabbed the key and walked inside, gently placing Maeryn on the couch. He walked into the kitchen and grabbed a blood bag out of the freezer and grave it to Maeryn. “Drink up. Those wounds need to heal.” He said. It had been the first thing he had said to her since they escaped the castle. Maeryn sighed and took the blood bag, taking a small sip. But, for the first time in her existence as a vampire, the blood made her slightly nauseous. Felix grabbed a blood bag himself and sat down on the sofa stool besides the couch. Maeryn looked around slightly. There was a large couch where she was sitting on at the moment. In front of the couch was a small coffee table with drawers in them. Besides the couch was the chair where Felix was sitting on and across from Felix was a TV hanging on the wall, with a radio besides it. In the kitchen was a small stove, sink and a fridge. The dining table was in the same place as the kitchen. A door separated the first floor with the second by a staircase. It was small, and cosy. Felix was waiting impatiently until he got a phone call. None of the two vampires moved. And after three hours the phone finally rang. Felix quickly picked it up and she could hear the voice of Jane through the phone. But Maeryn was still too numb to really pay attention to what Jane and Felix where saying. “Alright. Thank you Jane. Stay safe.” Felix said. Maeryn looked up, wondering what happened. “Aro and Caius where killed, along with Heidi, Santiago, Chelsea, Renata and many of the lower guards. Even Sulpicia and Athenodora along with Corin where killed.” Felix started. He took a deep breath and spoke the words that she knew already, but when he said it her world collapsed once more. It shattered in a million different pieces. “And.. and Alec.”

So...Aro and Stephan?
Aro's original creator was Stefan, and as such Aro was a (low-ranking) member of the Romanian Coven by default.
They were in the midst of war with the Egyptian coven, but he and Aro were more than happy to ignore duties and spend their time together abusing their immortality by living frivolously---partying, blood drinking, orgies, the usual. Naturally it evolved into a romantic relationship in barely any time at all.
They only ever split up years later when their flamboyant personalities started to clash, and they were two conflicting on a lot of the Romanians laws and policies (Stefan obviously being loyal, and Aro opposing said rules).
When an out was offered to him, by longterm friend Marcus and sister Didyme, he took it, and thus the Volturi's rise to power begun.

The lost one (Alec Volturi x Reader) Chapter Two: The Cullens
Tumblr media
The Irish coven reached Forks in just three days. On their arrival, the Cullens where there to welcome them with open arms. You liked the Cullens, even though you found their diet to be odd. How they could resist their nature of feeding on humans? It was odd but at the same time you had quite respect for the vampires. Carlisle made his way towards the coven with a smile on his face. "I am glad you could come, my dear friend." Carlisle spoke to Siobhan. Siobhan responded his smile with one of her own. "We would like to see the child Carlisle." she replied. "Ofcourse. Come inside." Carlisle said as he led them inside his house. Once inside, you where hit with the stench of wet dogs. You scrunched up your nose in disgust. "You will get used to it." Edward replied seeing your facial expression. "I sure hope so." You replied. You looked around the room and saw atleast 18 other vampires standing in the room along with some werewolves. The eye color of the vampires where ranging from gold to red and some even had black eyes. Clearly they had forgotten to feed before they reached the Cullens. You let your crimson eyes scan the room and let them fall on an unknown vampire. A fair woman with dark gold eyes was standing next to Edward, his arm protectively around her waist. So this must be Bella, you thought to yourself. Bella had her hands protectively on the shoulders of a young girl who looked to be around the age of 8. She was angel like just like a vampire, yet you could hear her small heartbeat and see the redness on her cheeks from her blood pumping through her veins. You could even smell the child's blood from here. She finally turned to you. You had never really liked physical contact and was hesitant to let this unknown, hybrid child touch your cheek. "It is fine (y/n). Nothing bad will happen." Edward reasured you. You sighed and bent down slightly so Renesmee could put her hand on your cheek. You gasped as you saw the memories of Renesmee in her mothers womb and the first thing she saw and thought when she was born. You pulled away amazed. This child was extraordinary. "Maggie? What do you think?" Siobhan asked. Maggie was a lie detector and the Irish clan mostly relied on her ability while making decisions. "They are speaking the truth." She replied. Siobhan nodded her head. "Very well then Carlisle. We will whitness for you against the Volturi." Siobhan said. "And fight if we have too." Maggie added. "I hope this will all end without a battle." Siobhan replied. You relaxed. If Siobhan wanted the confrontation to go without a fight, it would go without a fight. Siobhan had this gift she could use to manipulate the outcome of many confrontations and situations. Carlisle smiled. "I am gratefull for that. My whole family is grateful for that." The next day every vampire was in the woods, showing off their skills. You just sat on a rock, watching everyone. Bella tried to expand her shield so she would be able to protect her allies. A few new vampires had arrived, including two Romanian vampires: Stephan and Vladimir whom kept on eyeing you the whole time. You wheren’t sure as to why, but you didn't bother questioning it. After everyone had practiced their skills people started to head back to the Cullens house. "Wait a minute. Our dear wallflower hasn't showed us what gift she posseses." Vladimir said, his bright red eyes piercing through yours. "That is because I do not have a gift. I am just a regular vampire." your replied, piercing your crimson eyes right back into Vladimir's. Vladimir chuckled. "And we should believe that. You agreed to a possible fight, I believe we atleast ought to know your gift so we can use it to our advantage in battle." You glared at him, but many vampires seemed to agree with him. You sighed. "If she doesn't want to show her gift then that is up to her. We are greatefull she is willing to put her life at risk just to protect my daughter." Edward replied, sensing your discomfort.  "He does have a point though. How can we know her gift isn't going to turn against us." Garrett replied and more agreements could be heard. Siobhan, Liam and Maggie rushed infront of you, protecting you from any possible harm. You sighed and stood up. "It's alright. It is not like my power is usefull in a battle for anyone else but myself." you said, trying to calm your coven down. Siobhan frowned slightly but took a step back. You concentrated and slowly felt your body grow lighter and made itself into a dark mist. Many vampires gasped slightly. "I can no longer smell her." Stephan whispered to Vladimir. You slowly drifted up but stayed in the shade, where you where no longer visible. You crept up a tree and floated above a thick branch, slowly making your body normal again. Many vampires where looking around, trying to see where you had gone. You chuckled and jumped down behind the group of vampires. "See? It is mainly used for when I don't want to be found or attacked. In my mistform no one can touch me, either physical or with their gift. I can only use it for my own protection." you explained as you made your way back to your coven. Siobhan put an protecting arm around your shoulders. "Have you seen enough?" Siobhan asked Vladimir, spitting venom. Vladinir looked at you with a calculating look on his face but nodded his head. That evening a bonfire was made. Stories where told and songs would be sung. But everyone knew what the possibility was for tomorrow's outcome. And you feared not just for your life, but for the lives of your coven. The vampires whom have treated you as family for over 300 years. You where sure being a nomad was no longer an option for you, as you had grown fondly to the idea of having a home, a family. Yet even your own family never knew your secret. A secret that has been haunting you for years. A secret you didn't even understand. Your hand made it's way into your pocket, feeling the necklace still laying securely in there. You shook your head slightly and continued listeling to the many fascinating stories of the vampires that where willing to tell their past, trying to push your worries for tomorrow aside.
