Lizardmen for Stellagama
Stellagama Publishing brings us the Martian fantasy Sword of Cepheus in its second edition, I produced three black and white drawings for the new book, the Kickstarter campaign and a new project. With the classic theme, I wanted a classic look to match and took inspiration from Sergio Toppi for my linework.

The new Mongoose Traveller 2e is generally your best bet, but I’m warning you now that it’s functionally the ‘D&D 5e’ of the editions at it’s worst. At it’s best, it’s pretty good. Pick up the Explorer’s Edition first and have a look over; it’s basically a starter set for the revised edition. This will let you know if there’s more to pick up. (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/380244/Traveller-Explorers-Edition?filters=10134_0_0_0_0) Cepheus Engine is excellent, because the core rules are absolutely free. (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/186894/Cepheus-Engine-System-Reference-Document?src=also_purchased) Cepheus Deluxe by Stellagama publishing is... also a thing, but it’s generally a more stripped down version that you have to pay for. Traveller 5 is essentially a bundle of optional rulesets and mechanics free to plug in to any version of the original game engine. It’s not much more than a little curiosity, and suffers from the issue of having too many rules and not telling you what to actually do with them. Other than that, it’s worth a cursory glance (but only if you’re really into Traveller).
I don't want to start either edition war or anything but which version of Traveller do I get, like there's Traveller 5, mongoose traveller (I think in a '22 revised 2e), and Cephus, never mind older editions of any sort
so yeah which traveller?

my favorite stupid latin derivation is that stellio is a latin word for lizard, but it doesn't come from any word like SNAKE or WYRM like a lot of names for reptiles usually do, it comes from stella (star), because....

August 14, World Lizard Day!
Our friends @histsciart remind us that today is World Lizard Day, a day to celebrate this enormous group of squamate reptiles that includes over 6,000 species. Today we bring you chromolithographs and wood engravings of just a few of them from volume one, part three of the 1882-84 edition of Brehms Thierleben. From top to bottom we have:
Wall Lizard (Podarcis muralis) Frilled-necked Lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii) Stellagama (Stellagama stellio) Common Basilisk (Basiliscus basiliscus) Green iguana (Iguana iguana) Flying Dragon (Draco volans) Asian Water Monitor (Varanus salvator) Chameleons (family Chamaeleonidae) Wall Gecko (Tarentola mauritanica)
Yay, Lizards!!

The Deal of the Day over on DriveThruRPG is "Cepheus Deluxe Enhanced Edition". Is that like triple holofoiled or something? Anyways it's at a really good price right now.
