Lucifer sent this cat in his place and somehow only Satan didn’t notice that it was actually a cat. He just  thinks it is just some weird sinner that Lucifer sent in his place. Lucifer also sends a note to Satan that this “sinner” has a say in whatever is happening. (Lucifer just want the cat to look bad, he didn’t actually count on Satan not seeing the cat)

Now imagine this little fat cat is sitting on a gigantic throne and just making cat noises

Satan: We will now continue this trial, bring on the execution!!!!

Catalastor: Miao~~~~

Satan: What do you mean hold it off??? These imps are guilty!!!

Catalastor: Miao~~~~~

Satan: They are demon royalty, they don't need to be put on trial.

Catalastor: *Purrrrrrrr*

Satan: Fine!!! Only because Lucifer commanded that you have a say in it

Stolas: Blitz!!! Are you alright!?!

Stolas: *sees catalastor* What is going on??

Satan: Ah Prince Stolas, good thing you're here. You are going to testify regarding the stealing of grimoire and assassinations attempts on your life.

Stolas: What??

Satan: I was going to just execute the imps and be done with it, but Lucifer's representative spoke up for them and says that they deserve a chance to defend themselves

Stolas: What's going on!?!? Why is there a cat on Lucifer's throne??

Satan: Stolas, keep it down. I know it's disgraceful that Lucifer sent a sinner in his place but at least don't say it out loud.

Satan: Now let's get to that testimony, what exactly happened?

Then a Phoenix Wright level trial happened and in the end Stella is found guilty for the assassinations' attempt along with her brother as an accomplice. Stolas didn't completely get off the hook but he still kept custody of Octavia. Most of his assets and title will be transferred to Octavia for but he can still have custody of her until she turns 18.
