The Miami sun was blazing, the roar of engines echoing through the circuit. Amelie stood in the Red Bull garage with her sister Stella, who was animatedly chatting with Checo's engineer. Amelie’s attention, however, was firmly fixed on the big screen in front of her, where the final laps of the race played out. Her heart was pounding in sync with the commentator's excited voice.
Lando was leading.
The McLaren driver, her Lando, was within grasp of his first-ever Grand Prix victory. She could barely breathe as she watched him expertly navigate the track, holding off Max Verstappen with a precision and calm that had the crowd on their feet.
She wasn’t supposed to be here, not this close to the action. Being in the McLaren garage would’ve raised suspicions, so she’d accepted Stella’s invitation to watch with Red Bull. But now, standing among strangers, the idea of keeping her emotions in check felt impossible.
When Lando crossed the finish line, the world seemed to stand still for a moment before erupting into chaos. The commentator’s voice cracked as he shouted, “Lando Norris takes his first-ever Formula 1 victory in Miami!”
Amelie’s knees buckled, tears streaming down her face before she even realized it. She brought her hands to her mouth, trying to stifle a sob, but the dam had broken.
—Oh my God,— she whispered, voice trembling.
Stella turned to her, a knowing smile on her lips. —Go.—
Amelie hesitated for only a second before bolting out of the garage. Her mind was a blur, her body moving on pure instinct as she weaved through the crowds and dodged security personnel. She barely registered the cheers or the sea of orange-clad fans.
She reached the pit lane just as Lando pulled into the designated spot, his car stopping amid a swarm of jubilant McLaren team members. Without thinking, she pushed her way through the cluster of orange uniforms, earning a few startled looks but no resistance.
The adrenaline of the moment was buzzing in her veins, her chest tight with excitement and raw emotion. Amelie didn’t think. She couldn’t think. All she could see was Lando, his helmet still on, his body emerging from the car as the pit crew celebrated around him.
Her heart was pounding so loudly in her chest, it drowned out the noise of the cheers from the crowd. She could feel the warmth of the Miami sun on her skin, but it all faded into the background as she pushed forward, her eyes locked on Lando. He was laughing, his face lit up with joy, but it was when he looked over and saw her that the world seemed to stop.
Lando’s expression shifted instantly from celebration to something softer, something intensely familiar. His eyes widened for just a second, and before anyone could stop him, he was pushing through the crowd, sprinting toward her.
Amelie couldn’t breathe. She didn’t know what she was doing, didn’t know why she was crying or why she’d run here, but the second his arms wrapped around her, the tears didn’t stop.
Lando’s voice broke through the buzzing in her ears. —Ames, baby— he murmured, his hands cupping her face as he pulled her into him. His lips crashed into hers, not soft, but frantic, hungry, like he’d been waiting for this moment, just like her.
The kiss was everything. His lips were warm and familiar, tasting of the salt from sweat and the intense excitement of his victory. His arms were strong around her, his hands threading through her hair, holding her in place as if he couldn’t bear to let go. And, for a moment, neither of them cared who was watching.
The cameras were already there, catching every second, every desperate kiss, and the crowd erupted in cheers. But for Amelie and Lando, it was just the two of them in the middle of everything. She forgot the world around them entirely as she lost herself in the kiss, her hands trailing up his chest, pressing him closer.
When they pulled back, panting for air, their foreheads rested together, and Lando’s breath was unsteady. —Fuck, Ames, I thought you’d never do that.— He laughed, breathless, eyes wide with disbelief and joy.
Amelie laughed too, wiping the last of her tears away. She could hear the commotion behind them, the pit crew still cheering, but it felt distant. The only thing that mattered was this moment with him. —I didn’t plan this, Lan,— she admitted with a slight chuckle, her hands still resting on his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart.
Lando grinned, eyes soft but intense, and kissed her again, this time gentler. —Guess we’re out of the secret club now, huh?—
Before Amelie could respond, she was swept up in a wave of McLaren team members, all clapping him on the back, lifting him into the air in celebration.
Amelie watched, still caught up in the whirlwind of emotion, as Lando was carried by his team, laughter and cheers filling the air. The reality of the moment hit her again. He’d won. He’d really won. And now, everyone knew they were together.
She wiped away another tear, trying to steady herself as she made her way toward the podium area, keeping her eyes on Lando the whole time. She couldn’t believe this was happening, couldn’t believe she was watching him, the man who’d been her best friend and then something more, up there on the top step, holding the trophy with the biggest smile on his face.
When Lando finally stood on the podium, her heart swelled with pride. The champagne sprayed, the crowd screamed, and he held the trophy high above his head, looking out at the fans. But all Amelie could see was him, her Lando, standing there, shining in the spotlight. And her tears didn’t stop.
She couldn’t hold back anymore.
Her hands shook as she watched him, the sound of the crowd fading into the background. This was real. This moment, this victory, it was everything they’d both been working for, even if it wasn’t the way they’d planned it. She was crying now, openly, the tears streaming down her face as she clapped and cheered, completely unable to stop the wave of emotion flooding over her.
When the ceremony ended, Amelie stayed back, her heart still racing. She didn’t want to crowd him, not yet, not when he was still caught up in the media frenzy.
She waited outside the McLaren Team Hub, pacing anxiously as the minutes stretched into what felt like hours. The cool evening air of Miami was a welcome relief after the scorching heat of the day, but Amelie couldn’t bring herself to relax.
Her phone buzzed in her purse, but she ignored it, not wanting to be distracted. All she could think about was Lando, and how she’d kissed him, and how this moment—his first win, their first kiss in front of everyone—would change everything.
Finally, she saw him. The door to the team hub opened, and there he was, looking fresh and clean, dressed in a McLaren team shirt, his hair still damp from the shower but that familiar cocky grin on his face.
Amelie felt her heart skip a beat as he caught sight of her. His grin softened instantly, and he walked toward her, his strides long and confident.
—Hey, Ames,— Lando said with a teasing smile, his voice still thick with emotion from the day. —You look stunning. But are you okay? You’ve been crying like a little baby.—
Amelie rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t stop the smile that stretched across her face. —Shut up, Lan. You won your first race. Of course, I’m emotional.—
He pulled her into his arms, his lips finding hers in a sweet kiss. The world seemed to disappear as she kissed him back, her hands trailing up to cup his face.
When they pulled away, Lando rested his forehead against hers. —Let’s get to the hotel, yeah? I’m ready to celebrate properly.—
—Are you now?— she teased, but the grin on her face was wide.
As they made their way to the hotel, Amelie’s mind couldn’t help but drift to the after-party. They were both ecstatic, both a little tipsy from the excitement and the lingering effects of the champagne. But when they arrived at the party, the energy shifted.
Lando was surrounded by people congratulating him, and Amelie found herself sticking close to him. She hated the way some of the other girls kept throwing flirtatious glances his way, their fingers brushing his arm just a little too long, trying to get his attention.
But it didn’t bother her as much as it would have in the past. Because the second those girls leaned in, Lando would turn to her, his eyes only on her.
She wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling him closer, her lips pressing against his ear. —You’re not going anywhere, Lan.—
He chuckled, nipping at her ear in return. —Never, Ames.—
As the night wore on, the party’s energy seemed to intensify. The music was loud, and the lights were flashing in every direction. But amidst the crowd, Lando and Amelie were like a little world of their own. They danced together, laughing and teasing, their bodies moving in sync to the beat. It was one of those nights where everything felt perfect, where the connection between them felt so natural, so easy.
Amelie felt the warmth of Lando's hand on her back as they danced, his touch sending electricity through her. The alcohol had loosened them both up, and their playful teasing grew a little bolder. Every time she laughed, Lando's eyes would light up, and every time she brushed her lips against his, his hands would find their way to her waist, pulling her even closer.
But she could feel the tension between them building—an energy that had been simmering under the surface for months, maybe longer. She could see it in the way he looked at her, the way his hands lingered on her body, the way their kisses had become more urgent as the night wore on.
At one point, Lando leaned in close, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered, his voice thick with desire. —You’re driving me crazy, Ames.—
Amelie shivered at the sound of his voice, her hands tracing the outline of his chest before sliding up to his neck. —Is that so?— she teased, her breath catching in her throat. She couldn’t deny the way he made her feel—the way his touch seemed to light her up from the inside out.
He smiled against her skin, pressing a kiss to her neck that made her pulse quicken. —Yeah,— he murmured, his lips brushing her jaw. —You’ve been killing me with those looks all night.—
Amelie laughed softly, but the sound was shaky, the heat in her chest turning into something more. She felt her heart race as she tilted her head back, giving him more access to her neck. —You’re such a flirt, Lan,— she whispered.
He chuckled against her skin, the sound vibrating through her. —Only for you, Ames,— he said, his voice low and raspy.
But as the night went on, Amelie couldn’t ignore the way her body responded to his closeness, the way every touch, every kiss felt more urgent, more desperate. There was a tension building, a hunger that neither of them had been able to ignore for too long.
Eventually, they found their way to a quieter corner of the venue, far from the noise of the party. Lando backed her up against a wall, his body pressing into hers as his lips crashed against hers once more. The kiss was heated, urgent, as though neither of them could wait any longer.
Amelie felt the heat of his hands on her waist, pulling her flush against him, and she responded eagerly, her fingers tangling in his damp hair, tugging him closer. Every inch of her body seemed to crave him, and she could feel the same hunger in his every movement.
—Fuck, Ames
— Lando groaned against her lips, his hands sliding down to her hips, gripping her tightly as though he couldn’t get enough. Amelie’s breath hitched in her throat, and she pressed her body even closer to his, feeling the hard heat of him against her.
She pulled away just slightly, her eyes meeting his, her lips swollen from the kisses. —Lando,— she breathed, her voice trembling with the need building inside her. —I think we need to get out of here.—
He nodded without hesitation, his gaze dark and intense. —Yeah,— he said, his voice rough. —Let’s go.—
They didn’t even look back as they made their way out of the party, their hands intertwined, hearts pounding in their chests. Neither of them said anything, but the silence between them was filled with anticipation.
Once they reached his hotel room, the door slammed shut behind them, and it was as if the world outside didn’t exist anymore. Lando didn’t waste a second, pulling her toward him, his lips claiming hers again, more desperately this time. Amelie’s hands found the buttons of his shirt, tugging at them as she kissed him back with equal urgency.
Her heart raced as she felt his hands slip under her skirt, his touch sending shocks of desire through her. —Fuck, you feel amazing,— he whispered, his voice hoarse as his lips trailed down her neck.
Amelie moaned softly, tilting her head back to give him better access, her fingers working at the buttons of his shirt. She could feel the heat of his body against hers, the intensity of the moment, and she wanted more. She wanted all of him.
—Lando
— she breathed, her hands trembling as they explored his chest, her nails grazing his skin.
He looked down at her, his eyes dark with desire, before he pulled her top and skirt over her head in one swift motion. The moment she was in just her underwear, he lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the bed as if she weighed nothing. His hands were everywhere, caressing her skin, as though he couldn’t get enough of her.
Amelie’s breath caught in her throat as Lando hovered over her, his lips kissing a trail down her body. She arched into him, her hands threading through his hair, urging him on.
—Fuck, you’re beautiful,— he murmured, his lips brushing over her stomach.
Her body responded to his every touch, every kiss, and she pulled him back up to her lips, kissing him fiercely. Their hands were frantic, pulling at each other’s clothes, desperate to feel skin on skin.
When they finally came together, it was electric. Every inch of their bodies connected, every kiss, every touch, every sigh filled with the tension and desire that had been building for so long. It was messy and intense, the need for each other overwhelming.
And when it was over, they lay tangled together in the sheets, breathless, their bodies pressed close. Amelie’s head rested against Lando’s chest, and he kissed the top of her head, his fingers tracing soothing patterns on her back.
She smiled softly, her heart still racing. —That was
 holy shit.—
Lando chuckled, his chest vibrating beneath her. —Told you I’d make you feel good, Ames.—

Hungarian GP 2024: McLaren Race Radios 1
Or the race radio bits I'm interested in, at least. If it matters, I'm listening to Oscar's radio first (mostly because I think it will be less interesting) and Lando's radio second, but I'm integrating my thoughts on both radios in lap order. I think it's important to consider both of these radios together because, while each driver is only hearing his own side, the combined radios demonstrate what's going on at the pit wall, which is really what I'm more interested in anyways. If Lando and Oscar want to duke it out by getting their asses kicked at Monopoly by Alex Albon then that's their business.
Laps 1-30 | Laps 31-39 | Laps 40-54 | Laps 55-70
So before any real analysis can take place, I think we need to establish four things that have been confirmed in the days since the race.
McLaren's post-race recap says that Lando had an issue switching to second gear when accelerating. (I don't think this came up literally at all as I was writing this analysis, but it's included for completion's sake.)
Tumblr media
2. One of Oscar's race team mechanics confirmed that Oscar and Lando had pre-race instructions that they could race before the last round of pit stops but not afterwards.
Tumblr media
3. Andrea Stella, the McLaren team principal, told media that any McLaren driver who does not follow team orders is in jeopardy of losing their seat.
Tumblr media
4. Lando's grandmother passed away very recently. I'm not discussing this out of respect for him and his family. Grief is an extremely complex and personal emotion anyways, so it would be pointless as well as disrespectful to speculate on how it might be impacting him at work.
With that being said, here we go.
Ok before the race even starts, I just have to shout out this line from Will Joseph, Lando's radio engineer: "Perez, Russell, and Gasly is in the pit lane, they all have hard ons." NOOOOO WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT 😂 It's also interesting that Will talks to Lando over radio a LOT more than Tom talks to Oscar. Even just "meaningless" things like timing countdowns. He also just talks a lot more in general, like uses more words in a sentence than Tom does.
Lap 1
LN: "Max has to give the position!" WJ: "We're on it." LN: "Yeah he committed to the outside so he knew he would run off." WJ: "Copy that."
Lap 2
Tom Stallard (Oscar's radio engineer): "Gap behind 1.7. Good job. And straight into tire management now, straight into tire management."
Tire management is Oscar's historic weakness so it's never too early to remind him about it. Meanwhile Team 4 is still fighting with Max:
WJ: "Understood Lando. We've informed race control [bargaining?] the regulation that they should give the position back or face a more severe penalty; DRS enabled." LN: "Yeah he was only ahead cause he braked way too deep. He committed to the exit."
Lap 4
TS: "Verstappen has let Lando through following the turn 1."
This is Oscar's first confirmation that McLaren has the 1-2 post Max driving cross-country to cut off Lando for P2.
I know people have commented on this in the past but it's hilarious how McLaren's pit wall refers to the drivers of other teams by their last names even when it makes the radio messages significantly long. DON'T FORGET THAT'S YOUR HATED COMPETITOR VERSTAPPEN WHO YOU MUST DESTROY AND NOT YOUR CHILDHOOD F1 ICON MAX.
WJ: "He has been told; he has been told. [garbled]" WJ: "Check right hand throttle; check right hand throttle."
Here we get the first message indicating Lando's throttle issue. This is not the gear issue that I linked earlier; it's a separate problem that the team was apparently fixing 15 minutes before the race was supposed to start 😂 It never gets mentioned again over the radio afaik and McLaren's post-race analysis only mentions it impacting Lando's driving in the very first lap (specifically that he might have lost P1 to Oscar at that point because of the throttle issue). The car is fast but it's held together by child-safe glue 😂
Lap 5
WJ: "0.8; 0.8."
Not the "nought point eight" someone please stop the British 😭
Lap 6
WJ: "1.0. He doesn't--he does have DRS. He does have DRS."
Laps 5-7 Lando is starting to build a gap over Max.
Lap 7
TS: "And tire management looking good. Opportunity for slightly bigger lift turn 3 perhaps."
The first of many messages that Oscar is doing well with his tires. Positive reinforcement training 😂 I can't claim to really know what the lift instruction is, but basic googling indicates that it's lift and coast (lift your foot off the gas pedal and let the car coast on it's previously-built momentum). It's a technique for saving a tiny bit off fuel on a straight before accelerating through a curve. Google is mixed about whether it's really helpful in modern F1 cars. EDIT: Google was right & here is Lando on McLaren's YouTube to back me up. This seems to be the only real critique of Oscar's driving that he's gotten to this point.
WJ: "1.2. He does not have DRS; he does not have DRS."
Lap 8
TS: "Alonso in P7 doing 1.258, so we're doing a good gap on those cars."
WJ: "So Lando we're currently thinking Plan A target lap. At the moment one sample of the hard, but the pace is ok but high deg, but it's only Hulk[enberg]. The soft looks poor."
Plan A will come up again repeatedly across both radios. It's the pit stop plan. I've not really been able to piece together when the 1st pit stop was meant to take place other than they definitely pitted earlier than planned. The target lap for the second pit stop (the mid-40s stop and the one that caused all the controversy) seems to have been lap 50, tho. More on this as it comes into play. Note that this is Lando's first warning that the hard tires are showing high degradation, which will return as a prominent theme when he begins to blow his tires out in the last third of the race.
Lap 10
TS: "How's the tire now, Oscar? How's the tire." OP: "Still good. [something unintelligible] really push it that much more than this."
I have no idea what he's saying 😭 don't forget he fucking looks like he can't move his face while wearing his helmet. Plus the accent my dude you're seriously incomprehensible 😭 my best guess based on his tone is that Oscar doesn't think he can push his tires much harder than he currently is. At this point he is ~2.5 ahead of Lando and Lando is ~2 up from Max.
Tumblr media
Lap 11
TS: "Opportunity to gear the car minimum speed turn 7, and we are in the window for a full safety car only. Full safety car only." OP: "Ok."
WJ: "And Lando just manage the pace a little bit in turn 11, and rear slips turn 7. And turn 9."
Turn 11 👀 this one as well as turn 4 obviously return to haunt Lando later in the race. We see here that it's early that he begins getting tire instruction. The broadcast commentators made this out to seem like it was a weakness of his race, but in the context of some later team radios it becomes more clear that good tire management is Lando's plan is putting on speed over Max. Lando asks several times for Will to give him instruction on how to better use his tires. Oscar gets a radio later in lap 20 reminding him that being in the dirty air of lapped traffic is going to wear his tires more. Lando, already in Oscar's dirty air at the start, is probably keenly aware that his tires are going to wear quicker and that he needs to micromanage them much more closely than Oscar, especially if he wants to continue building a gap on Max.
Lap 10
WJ: "And Lando how's the pace and tires compared to Friday?" LN: "I'm feeling a little bit more rear limited, at the minute. Little bit more rear limited."
Maybe a car issue? Maybe a traffic issue? He's about 3 seconds behind Oscar but I'm not sure how far back the slipstream off the car in front can affect cars behind.
Lap 12
TS: "Ok Oscar cars behind will soon build pit windows on uh Stroll in P7. So this is a good chance to try and pull away if you can." TS: "Lando 3.2, Verstappen 5.3."
Oscar does pull away through the next lap.
WJ: "And Lando, still on plan; any updates?" LN: "Um, not at the minute."
Lando still on target for Plan A's first pit stop, whenever that was meant to be. Again he's not damaging his tires in this first stint quite the way the commentators made it out on the broadcast since both he and Will seem convinced they can still reach their mid-20s pit stop goal despite all the tire feedback Lando is getting.
Lap 13
TS: "Half a second quicker than Verstappen, good job."
WJ: "Lando the pitch behind is Verstappen 2.4, then Hamilton, then Leclerc, then Sainz is at 9; Stroll, 17." LN: "Where am I losing at the minute?" WJ: "Entry turn 2, turn 8, turn 9."
Like I mentioned earlier, here we get Lando asking for tire info. Without the pit wall data it's impossible to know of course, but this to me doesn't seem like scolding about poor tire management (although it gets there in the end). At this point we see Lando actively seeking out more info to get a clearer picture of what he needs to do better. He's also clearly processing the feedback and putting it into practice as best he can. In lap 11, his feedback was on turns 7, 9, and 11. Here it's on 2, 8, and 9. So at this point in the race I don't think you can say that he's making the same mistake repeatedly. (Which I do think I said in my broadcast analysis, but again, the commentators made these tire exchanges sound much more combative than they actually were.)
Lap 14
WJ: "And Lando we believe our race is with Verstappen. Continue to open a gap; this is good. It's now 2.9."
In retrospect this is SUCH a key line for Lando's downward spiral. At this point he is 3.6 down from Oscar and 3 up from Max. By telling Lando to ignore Oscar's lead and focus on Max, the team is effectively rescinding their pre-race standing order to race the papayas until the last pit stop. I think there are two ways to look at this. One is that, realistically, increasing your gap to P2 should help decrease your gap to P1. These aren't competing goals, just a reframing of the priority. The second way to look at this, tho, is that psychologically reframing the race from "win" to "defend" IS against the hyper competitive mindset that these guys have, even if the same physical actions are required to do both. Sport IS mental as much or even more than it is physical. I don't think Will necessarily should have told Lando to go against his competitive instincts this early on (if at all), even if no matter how you think about it the solution is "drive fast."
Lap 15
TS: "Kay, we're now in the window for a safety car or virtual safety car. Confirm that." OP: "Confirm."
Oscar has built enough of a lead that he can't be passed or undercut if there is a safety car. I think. I understand the safety car rules but I have trouble piecing together how they can be used for strategy purposes in practice.
Lap 16
TS: "Gap to Verstappen is now 6.9."
WJ: "And Lando both safety car windows are open for Plan A; please confirm." LN: "Confirm."
Lap 17
TS: "Hamilton has pitted." TS: "Oscar once past use the pace."
WJ: "Lando, Hamilton has just pitted for a hard tire. 100% pace, please, 100% pace." WJ: "Lando box this lap, please, box this lap. How's the balance? Box this lap; box this lap."
Lewis (P4) uses this pit stop to undercut Max. By this point Lando is 3.5 behind Oscar and 4 ahead of Max. There's no chance of a McLaren undercut here; pitting Lando 1st is purely about making sure he keeps a good gap on Lewis/Max.
Lap 18
TS: "Oscar box this lap, box this lap." OP: "Copy box."
WJ: "This is out lap 2, or 3. Stint 2. We are not trying to undercut. Tsunoda and then Hamilton at the start/finish line; they're behind. And we're gonna need to go long on these tires."
Confirming what I said in the last lap--this pit stop wasn't about Lando undercutting Oscar. Will makes that explicit even though it's not really possible with the time gap between them. We also get a reminder to Lando that he's going to need to manage these tires for longer than initially planned because they pitted earlier than planned.
Lap 19
TS: "Ok Oscar, Lando is 3 seconds behind. We stopped earlier than planned to cover Hamilton; you can bring the tire in."
Again reiterating from Lap 18, whatever Plan A was for the first pit stop, it has been overthrown in favor of protecting the 1-2 from Lewis. I don't really have a sense of when they were planning to pit, but given that this is usually a mid-20s pit stop and that the later pit stop target seems to have been lap 50, I'm going to guess that 20-22 was the goal. One possible plan might have been 20 laps on med tires, 30 laps on hard, and 20 laps on med/hard.
WJ: "Hard tires have shown high deg, so we'll have to manage them. Oscar will be the car ahead. So Lando we've potentially stopped earlier than ideal, so this is a cruising run on this tire; the pace in the car is there."
Again we get the same feedback as the initial hard tire assessment in lap 8--high degradation but good race pace. Reminder about managing tires as well as the cruising lap comment, which if I understand correctly means they basically want him to ease off the accelerator as much as he can to preserve the tires. If the lap target of Plan A really was lap 50, both cars now have an additional 2-3 laps to get through on these tires.
Lap 20
TS: "And Oscar reminder, with cars ahead now tires will need a bit more management. Verstappen 24.5."
Lewis has closed the gap to Lando to 2.4 compared to lap 19 when Lando had a 4 second lead over Max. This trend is going to continue for the next few laps.
Lap 21
TS: "Small opportunity for more saving in turn 3." TS: "We think Sainz will pit."
WJ: "So Lando we think this is Plan A target lap." WJ: "And Lando, opportunity manage peak pressures in turn 4, turn 5, turn 11."
Turn 4 👀 turn 11 👀 ok seriously tho, turn 11 is the only repeat tire instruction Lando gets here. He's still clearly listening to and applying feedback. The pit wall still thinks he can make it to their Plan A mid-40s pit stop, so lap 45 at the very least. Probably lap 50. Again the commentators were I think misunderstanding WHY Lando was getting so much radio feedback on his tires--he's not being scolded, he's being coached. The team very actively believes he can and is and will successfully manage his tires. Note too that Oscar has now gotten turn 3 feedback twice (lap 7 and now).
Lap 22
TS: "Keep managing peak pressures turn 1 turn 12. Verstappen's pitted as well."
WJ: "Ok Lando, Verstappen and Sainz have pitted. We need to manage the pace a little bit more in turn 4. Hamilton is the car behind 2.2."
Turn 4 now joins turns 9 and 11 as a repeat tire instruction to Lando. Lando is 2.5 behind Oscar and Lewis is 2 behind Lando.
Lap 23
TS: "Turn 6 there's a good step, but you're using the tire a bit much in the exit of 7."
Oscar đŸ€ poor tire management. He got hit with turn 7 feedback all the way back in lap 11 and now it has returned, so both he and Lando are (in some capacity) making the same mistakes repeatedly. Re: who is doing better with their tires, I think it's mostly a difference in pit-driver communication style between Team 81 and Team 4. I mentioned at the very beginning that Will tends to talk more than Tom: more frequently, for longer stretches, and using more words. Presumably these guys understand their driver very well and what he wants/doesn't want to hear during a race. I think we're seeing that Lando prefers a lot more proactive feedback where Oscar prefers to be left alone unless he's making a noticeable error. This sets up a sort of artificial contrast where it looks like Lando is "doing worse" by getting more feedback, which I think is the trap the broadcast commentators fell into.
Neither here nor there but Tom also praises Oscar much more frequently than Will does Lando. Kinky.
WJ: "Hamilton 1.7. Lando, our opportunity ahead and behind is potentially to extend."
Will's message is more interesting here because I think it's a repeat of lap 14's "our race is with Verstappen." Again Will is saying that extending the gap over Hamilton is key to both keeping Lando in P2 and giving him a shot to fight for P1. I do think this is better phrasing than in lap 14; here we get "Lando these goals are aligned" rather than "Lando don't try to win". However I have an English degree and the pit wall is probably all math people so I'm rolling my eyes and accepting that they not going to wordsmith their way around these problems 😂
Lap 24
TS: "Leclerc's pitted; now you have clear air. Tire management looks similar across cars. You're doing a good job. 3 second gap behind."
TIRE MANAGEMENT LOOKS SIMILAR ACROSS CARS. I mentioned in my broadcast analysis that the commentators spent lap 23 talking about how Lando's race pace was worse than Oscar's because of his poor tire management. Here we can see that the team disagrees. Either they're both doing fine or they're both sucking ass 😂
WJ: "Ok Lando, Leclerc has just pitted, so everyone has now pitted. Everyone has gone hard." LN: "Yep, [but?] where's my biggest time?" WJ: "Opportunity, turn 1 breaking, 10 meters later."
EVERYONE HAS GONE HARD WILL JOSEPH WHY DO YOU KEEP SAYING THESE THINGS. Note that Lando has asked for tire feedback twice now, here and in lap 13. He's listening. He's thinking. His poor little jock brain has not yet overheated 😂
Lap 26
TS: "Pace is very good, pace is very good, but opportunity turn 6 brake release."
We can see here that Oscar is backsliding in his handling of turn 6 a bit. It was good in lap 23; now there's room for improvement. Repeat feedback on turns 3 and 7, etc. you know the drill.
Lap 27
WJ: "So Lando, we need to manage rear-locking, turn 1, turn 2; [bar?] center braking; and opportunity turn 8, minimum speed."
Omg counting all these stupid tire comments is the dumbest thing I've done in my life. Lando has now gotten repeat feedback on turns 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, and 11.
Lap 28
WJ: "Lando, opportunity turn 5: less peak break pressure, and carry your entrance speed."
Repeat 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11. By now, Oscar is up by about 4 seconds.
Lap 29
TS: "Oscar that one was a bit too much in turn 7, zero oversteer. And don't overdo the brake in turn 6."
Oscar poor tire management my old friend 😂 since lap 23 turn 6 has degraded from "good" to "overdone." It's also worth pointing out that here he gets his first warning about oversteering, which (I think) is what he does both times he runs off the track later in the race.
WJ: "What you did in turn 5 was good; same now in turn 13."
Lap 30
TS: "Oscar how's the tire?" OP: "Ah yeah, feels good. Consistent." TS: "Would it be ok if we had to restart a safety car?" OP: "I think so, yeah."
WJ: "Lando I want you to think about, if a safety car came out now, it would be pretty bad, but in two-three-four laps or so, we might be forced to take it; that might mean another stint. What are your thoughts?" WJ: "Perhaps a simpler question is, would you be able to restart these tires and do another 15 laps?" LN: "I mean I think yes but that'd be, uh, little bit tricky."
This is like. THE example of what I mean when I say both that Will talks more than Tom AND that the pit wall is just not up to snuff with their language & communication skills. Wtf is that massive jumble of words that Lando is suppose to somehow hear and sort through at 200 mph? Will and Tom are trying to get driver input on the same problem, but they go about it at such different levels of clarity and conciseness that it's genuinely shocking. I really think the team should invest some money into like public speaking training or something just to cut down on the mental workload they're throwing at the drivers to process.
This is one of the moments where I think it's most clear that the oft-referenced Plan A is to have the next pit stop around Lap 50. Will specifically asks if Lando could do 15 laps on his current tires, which would put him at running these tires to lap 50-51. Lando understandable thinks that's pushing it; he pitted in lap 17, so 33 laps on his tires when he's been in bad air (likely most of the race but definitely since they started lapping after lap 20) is a lot to ask of them at this point.
That brings me to my final point: I think this is the first moment where it's clear that Oscar is doing a better job managing his tires than Lando. All of the previous times this came up I could see an argument for why Lando was doing worse that was outside of his control, but in this case, Oscar's tires are only one lap newer and they both basically came out of the pit and immediately went into lapping backmarkers. Oscar specifically gets to them at lap 20. So they're both in the same dirty air on tires that are basically equal in age, but Oscar not only maintains but actually extends his lead from 3 to 4 seconds in this period of time. Moreover at this specific lap, Lando is unsure if his tires can last another 15 laps, but Oscar is pretty confident his can. The longer time goes on, the more it becomes clear that Oscar's lead is due very much to his skill, not just extenuating circumstances.
Also hilariously I think the pit decided everyone needed to have this safety car discussion at this point because Max is quickly gaining on Lewis in the battle for P3. Their crystal ball was humming with foresight 😂

The roar of engines reverberated through the narrow streets of Monaco, the glistening harbor contrasting with the vibrant red of the Ferrari garage. I stood amidst the controlled chaos, the scent of burning rubber and fuel heavy in the air. Charles' family was beside me, their faces a mixture of tension and pride, reflecting my own swirling emotions.
In my hand, I clutched a small bracelet, its delicate threads intertwined with colors representing our journey together. Charles and I had made it during a quiet evening in Maranello, each bead and knot a silent promise of our shared dreams and love. I rubbed the beads with my thumb, seeking solace in their familiarity as the final laps of the Monaco Grand Prix unfolded on the screens before us.
Charles was in the lead. I could see his car darting through the tight corners, threading the needle between the unforgiving barriers. The commentators' voices were a distant hum, my focus solely on the scarlet blur of his Ferrari.
“He's doing great,” Pascale whispered, her voice tight with barely contained excitement.
I nodded, unable to tear my eyes away from the monitor. My heart pounded in time with the relentless rhythm of the cars on the track. Each second stretched into an eternity, every corner a potential triumph or disaster.
With just a few laps to go, the tension in the garage was palpable. I could see the mechanics poised for celebration or action, their faces masks of concentration. The bracelet's colors shimmered softly, a small but powerful reminder of the man I loved and the journey that had brought us to this moment.
The final lap began. Charles' car streaked past the iconic Casino Square, down towards the tight hairpin at Fairmont, and into the tunnel where the roar of the engine amplified tenfold. My grip on the bracelet tightened and all around, the horns of the yachts in the harbor were already blaring in celebration.
"C’mon, mia stella," I whispered, as if my voice could reach him through the cacophony of the race.
Through the chicane and into the swimming pool complex, his car danced on the edge of control, the very limits of physics and skill. The crowd's roar was a constant backdrop, a wave of noise that crescendoed as he approached the final corners.
Then, in a blur of red and precision, he rounded Rascasse and Anthony Noghes. The checkered flag waved, and Charles' car crossed the finish line.
“C'Ă© l'ha fatta!” someone shouted, the garage erupting into cheers and applause. He did it.
Tears of joy sprang to my eyes as I watched Charles slow down for the victory lap, the realization sinking in. He had won. In Monaco. His home race.
Monaco has finally loved him back.
It was a colossal victory for Il sole di Maranello, Il Predestinato, Il Principe Rosso,
The brightest star in my night sky.
The screen cut to his in-car camera, showing his triumphant fist pump and the liberating scream he let out. My heart swelled with pride and love.
As the celebrations commenced around me, I felt a strong arm wrap around my shoulders. Charles' mother pulled me into a hug, her eyes glistening with tears.
“He's done it,” she whispered, her voice filled with emotion.
We all moved towards the pit lane to greet him, the crowd's energy sweeping us along. The bracelet dangled from my wrist, a symbol of our bond and the incredible moment we were now living.
Charles pulled into the Parc Fermé, and as he climbed out of the car, he immediately jumped onto the nose of his Ferrari. He threw his arms up in victory, letting out a boisterous scream full of raw emotion, the sound echoing through the throng of fans and team members. The crowd's cheers reached a fever pitch, their collective joy merging with his triumphant cry.
He then jumped down, his feet hitting the ground with a determined thud. Amidst the jubilant chaos, his eyes scanned the sea of faces until they found mine surrounded by a sea of red uniforms and jubilant faces. He pushed through the crowd, making his way to me.
“Amore mio!” he exclaimed, lifting me off my feet and spinning me around.
“You did it, Charles! You won!” I laughed through my tears, my hands framing his helmet.
He leaned in, pressing his forehead against mine. “We did it,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. His fingers brushed against the bracelet on my wrist, I could see a hint of a knowing smile spreading across his face. “This is also for us.”
In that moment, surrounded by the cheers of the team and the adoring fans, it was just the two of us. The handmade bracelet, the race, and our love intertwined into a perfect, unforgettable moment.
The jubilation in the Ferrari crowd was palpable, the energy electric as the team celebrated Charles' monumental win. Mechanics, engineers, and staff swarmed him, lifting him up and congratulating him, hugging him and tapping the top of his helmet, their faces glowing with pride and admiration. Fred approached with a broad smile, clapping Charles on the shoulder and embracing him in a vigorous hug.
Next came Carlos, grinning from ear to ear, pulling into a brotherly embrace. "Amazing job out there, mate! You deserve this one."
"Thanks, Carlos," Charles said, hugging him tighter. "We did it together."
John Elkann, Ferrari’s chairman, stepped forward, his demeanor exuberant and congratulatory. "Charles, you've made Ferrari and all of Monaco incredibly proud today. Congratulations!"
Charles nodded, his gratitude evident. "Thank you, Mr. Elkann. This victory is for the team, for all of us."
With the formalities complete, Charles turned to the crowd. He moved towards the barriers, where the sea of red-clad fans erupted into deafening cheers, their love and admiration washing over him like a wave. He basked in the adulation, lifting his arms to acknowledge the fans who had supported him through thick and thin.
He spotted Andrea waiting by the edge of the crowd. The Italian had been with him through countless highs and lows, a steady presence in his life. Charles embraced him tightly, their bond evident in the heartfelt hug.
“You did it, Charles. I'm so proud of you,” Andrea said, his voice choked with emotion.
“Couldn't have done it without you, Andrea,” Charles replied, pulling back to look his friend in the eye.
Andrea handed Charles his jewelry and the other handmade bracelet, the one that perfectly complemented the one I wore. A significant piece that he entrusts to his friend every race. Charles took the items, his eyes briefly meeting Andrea's in silent gratitude before he turned back to the crowd. He moved to the front of the sign indicating his 1st place finish, ready to be interviewed by Jenson Button for the post-race interview.
The crowd's roar never dimmed, their adoration a constant backdrop. I watched him, my heart swelling with love and pride, as he fought back tears. Charles took a moment to gather himself, fidgeting with his cap and then with the bracelet. The raw emotion in his voice was palpable as he spoke.
“It means a lot obviously,” Charles said, his voice wavering slightly. “This is the race that made me dream of being a Formula One driver one day.”
He paused, taking a deep breath. “I have to say that I was thinking of my dad a lot more than what I do while driving. Obviously he’d given everything for me to be here. It was our dream for me to race and to win here.”
The weight of his words sinking in. The raw emotion in his voice, the tears brimming in his eyes, spoke volumes. This victory was not just a personal triumph but a tribute to his father and their shared dream. I felt tears spill over, my heart swelling with love for the man who had just achieved a lifelong dream, carrying the memory of his father with him every step of the way.
While Charles spoke, I stood beside Pascale and his brothers. My heart ached with a mix of overwhelming pride and sorrow, mirroring the emotions etched on their faces. Pascale had tears running down her cheeks, her expression a blend of grief and pride for her son's achievement.
I reached out and grabbed her hand in mine, squeezing it three times—a silent gesture of support, love, and shared emotion. She squeezed back, her grip firm and reassuring, a small but powerful connection in this deeply poignant moment.
As the interview concluded, the crowd erupted into applause once more. Charles looked over at us, his eyes locking with mine, and in that moment, everything else faded away. The noise, the cameras, the crowd—it all disappeared, leaving just the two of us connected by an unspoken understanding and an unbreakable bond.
He made his way toward us, each step filled with purpose and emotion. When he reached us, he first hugged his mother tightly, their shared tears a silent tribute to the man they both missed so deeply. Then he turned to me, pulling me into his arms, holding me close.
I held him tighter, feeling the weight of the moment. “I'm so proud of you, Charles. Your dad would be too.”
We stood there for a moment, wrapped in each other's embrace, the world around us celebrating his incredible victory. The cheers of the crowd, the flashes of cameras, and the palpable joy of the team enveloped us, but all that mattered was the love and pride we felt for Charles.
Pascale joined our embrace, her tears now mingling with smiles. “He's always with you, Charles. And he's so proud.”
Charles nodded, his eyes glistening. “I feel him here today, maman, more than ever.”
As the celebrations continued, Charles' brothers took turns hugging him, their faces glowing with admiration and joy. He was then quickly rushed into the Driver’s Cooldown Room along with the other podium-finishers.
The crowd's roar never dimmed, their adoration a constant backdrop to the unfolding celebrations. Charles made his way to the podium promptly being showered in overjoyed hugs and words by Monaco’s Royal Family. He took his place on the top, the Monegasque flag wrapped around him like a protective mantle.
The Prince of Monaco, his eyes glistening with emotion, handed Charles his trophy first. Their embrace was heartfelt, filled with warmth and a deep sense of pride. As Charles lifted the trophy high, the crowd erupted into deafening cheers. He turned to the other drivers, congratulating them as they received their trophies, and then Fred accepted the constructor's trophy with a broad smile, lifting it skyward to the adulation of the crowd.
The Monaco anthem began to play, its solemn notes filling the air. Charles stood tall as the anthem resonated deeply, the pride of the nation evident in every note. As the final strains of the Monaco anthem faded, the Italian anthem followed, a tribute to the Ferrari team and their storied legacy.
The sound of both anthems being sung at the top of everyone's lungs was deafening, a beautiful cacophony of national pride and celebration. Tears streamed down faces all around, from the Prince and the royal family to the mechanics, marshalls, and fans. Even the seasoned veterans of the sport were visibly moved, the emotion of the moment overwhelming.
He lifted the trophy high, a triumphant smile spreading across his face. The crowd erupted once more, their cheers echoing through the narrow streets of Monte Carlo. He looked down at me, our eyes locking across the sea of faces. He mouthed the words “I love you,” and I felt the tears spill over again, tears of unadulterated joy and love.
The podium celebration reached its peak and the champagne bottles were uncorked with a resounding pop. Charles, Carlos, and Oscar grabbed their bottles, shaking them vigorously. The crowd's anticipation grew, knowing the champagne shower was about to begin.
Charles stood at the center as Carlos and Oscar turned towards him, their bottles aimed and ready. With a synchronized motion, they sprayed him with champagne, the sparkling liquid raining down on him as he laughed and tried to dodge it.
Fred, ever the spirited team principal, turned his champagne bottle toward Prince Albert. His Serene Highness, caught off guard but clearly delighted, laughed heartily and grabbed a bottle himself. He joined in the festivities, spraying Fred and the other drivers with gusto. The entire podium was a scene of jubilant chaos, the air filled with the scent of champagne and the sound of laughter and cheers.
Charles reveled in the moment, his face beaming with pure happiness as he shared the celebration with his teammates and the Prince. It was a rare and beautiful sight, the convergence of competitive spirit and heartfelt camaraderie.
Finally, the champagne showers subsided, and Charles descended the steps, droplets of champagne glistening on his suit and face. After a while, he made his way back to me, his steps purposeful and his eyes locked on mine. The crowd's cheers still echoed in the background, but all I could focus on was him.
As he reached me, he didn't hesitate. He pulled me into his arms and kissed me deeply, a kiss full of love, joy, and adoration—and even a hint of something more passionate, something more intense.
The kiss was electric, sending shivers down my spine. His lips moved against mine with a fervor that spoke of the countless emotions coursing through him. His hands gripped my waist tightly, pulling me closer as if he never wanted to let go. The world around us blurred, the noise of the celebration fading into the background.
His kiss was hungry and unrestrained, a raw display of the depth of his feelings. It conveyed everything words couldn't—the relief, the triumph, the passion that simmered beneath the surface. My toes curled, and I felt a heady rush as I responded with equal intensity, matching his fervor.
When we finally pulled apart, breathless and smiling, he rested his forehead against mine. “This is just the beginning,” he whispered, his breath warm against my skin.
I nodded, holding him tight. “I'm with you every step of the way, Charles. Always.”
And in that embrace, surrounded by the love of family, friends, and fans, we knew that no matter what the future held, we would face it together, hand in hand, heart to heart. The journey ahead was filled with promise, and with each other, we could conquer anything.

Last night, HUGO celebrated the launch of their 10-piece capsule collection with former one direction member, Liam Payne. Suitably held in Berlin, the brand's home, the likes of Winnie Harlow and Stella Maxwell pulled up at the industrial warehouse location which was illuminated by red lights and surrounded by smashed glasses - very Berlin.
At the humongous venue, we were treated to a live performance by Payne, who graciously took pictures with his adorning fans who managed to sneak their way in to the event.
The capsule collection itself champions simplicity, with discrete details that have been meticulously thought out.
Before we go ahead and disclose all the debauchery that went on at the party, let’s look back to a few hours before the party, where we met with Liam and Bart de Backer, head of menswear at HUGO.
LOVE: Why did you choose the chevron tattoo, was there a reason?
Liam Payne: I don’t really know, I thought it just looked cool. With tattoos, I’m very spur of the moment. If I sit and think about something for too long I’d just be like ‘oh I can’t get it’ because I’ll find so many anxiety driven reasons why I shouldn’t, where as if I’m in a tattoo shop and I’m like ‘what can I do today’ I’ll just have a little search on Google and then I just kind of decide upon it I guess. (...)
LOVE: What’s your favourite piece from the collection and why?
LP: I like this t-shirt that we have here with the grey collar on. I like the fit of it. I think, its different seeing from sample to end product. So from the sample to now, I was actually quite blown away because there’s so many different stages of things and the way things are done. The best part about this one for me, was that when we made it, it was originally all white, and then when I left it with the team and went away, they started to print this red on it, which I think we decided on in the room, but the red was bleeding over the collar so then they were like ‘what can we do’, so they changed it to grey. I think it made the piece way better than it would have been if it was just white.
LOVE: Do you remember the first HUGO boss item you ever wore or bought?
LP: I think it would have been more in the bodywear range actually to start off - I think that’s when I first went to, which is quite funny because now I’m doing the bodywear thing as well, which is a fun thing to do, although it was a lot of hours in the gym and dodging chocolate for a while which is good.
LOVE: Who is your style icon, living or dead?
LP: Do you know what, I was watching something recently of Elvis, and it actually led me to do something in terms of tailoring that I might be throwing into the next collection. I always think Elvis did it well and he pushed a lot of different boundaries - he had his own lane and just did his thing, and no one’s ever even been able to wear it since because it was so hip -that’s just the coolest thing ever. When has anyone ever, except for Michael Jackson maybe, did so many different things, but people still try and replicate small elements of what they’ve been doing?
LOVE: What was it like working with Liam?
Bart de Backer: He was wearing some looks from us and then I met him once in the office. We didn’t have the time to have a drink together. What was quite cool is that we started with sketches. I still remember we had one meeting in London where I bought the sketches and we bought some pieces and he bought some pieces. Then he was trying things on, and all of a sudden the fire and the magic started.
LOVE: Was Liam really involved in the process?
BdB: Liam is very intuitive about fashion and style, so the thing is he needs to feel the pieces and he needs to connect to it. He’s never seen fashion sketches or done a collection, so it’s easy for him. It’s a completely new thing that he can get excited about. It was like today - we’re currently working on the second capsule collection in between the interviews Liam comes to me and says, ‘Oh Bart I have an idea,’ so that was actually quite nice. What I like a lot is when he tried things on then he would say, ‘oh yeah I like this detail and this fit, I want to have this differently’ and this is how he started creating. And the other thing is he’s really into detail which I like a lot. When we started the bomber style he really wanted include an arrow. We did a special puller with it and it’s really details he loves.
LOVE: HUGO is definitely tailored to a younger audience. Was it important for you to have someone on board that was of the younger generation and therefore had a different insight?
BdB: For me it’s a generation you want to talk to because for HUGO we always had this unconventional idea that we want to talk to a person with a younger mind set but also, what I noticed, is we want to actually speak to a younger generation and for me Liam is that younger generation. It’s one of these native digital kids and this is actually for me very interesting to work with somebody from that generation.
LOVE: What's the future of menswear, do you think?
BdB: I think dressing up will become more important again. I don’t think it will be an all of a sudden moment, where all tailoring will come back, but I think we’ll certainly start to use tailoring more. At the moment, we’re working on a tailored tracksuit, where I took the silhouette of a tracksuit and asked my pattern designer of tailoring to actually make a tracksuit by the tradition of tailoring, and this is for me I think more a direction. That is more interesting for the future because it’s taking the suit out of its traditional context.

its the last month of 2017, and i wanted to make a special post to a few people i’ve met this year, and just express my gratitude. this was originally part of my follow forever, but i felt like it deserved its own post since i tend to ramble ◑.◑ my apologies to everyone mentioned in this since it’s kinda long + a lot of ppl are mentioned hdjfkgkdfl
amanda @beautifulshuas - amanda!! im really glad the time we had that suddenly super deep convo that u didnt feel like i was intruding on anything hahah. it was nice sharing that experience with u (but also sucky bc it’s not a good experience) and i look forward to more 1 am conversations about shitty relationship situations lmaooo
jennie @boosonseok - no offense but ur shitposts are the best thing in the entire fandom lbr, and i enjoy seeing a lot of divaboo on my dash, since he is like my little brother. i appreciate ur shadiness (u kno the time) and shoutout to the california bay area heheheh (≧∇≩)/(≧∇≩)/
bonnie @cafewoozi - i think ive said this like 6 times but bonnie u!! are!! an angel!! i really appreciate all the help and advice you gave me this yr. u only say nice things abt ppls’ work and i still cant fathom that u actually....like....take time out of ur day to put smth nice on each post u reblog,,,, i can barely tag ppls names ??? a n g e l
kelsey @chanyoel - i lov eu thank u for putting up with w me yelling abt mingyu. u were the first person i converted to kpop.......bless. ur also one of the 5 ppl i actually text everyday (≧◡≩) u stick up for me, listen to me, and cry w me (its always bc of svt tho), thanks for being an amazing friend !!! also sorry for slacking off on @/ing u in jun posts..........i have the urge to @/you whenever i see him just kno that

dana @jishua - dana m’luv thanks for letting me rant to u, ur rly one of the easiest ppl to talk to im so mad i waited so long to get to kno u, ur sense of humor is a+, u always have something positive to say, n ur also a #fellowcapricorn whaddup. remember the time i stayed up til 5 to watch the clap mv w u??? goOD TIMES.
jiyoon @jeonheart - jiyoon thank u for helping me learn how to gif stage performances, it prob seems like such a minor thing but it means a lot to me since i’d been trying to for abt a yr. u approached me and u didnt have to do that, and its very rare to see random acts of kindness on tumblr so i just wanted to thank u again ^^ i hope life is bein kind to u and ur in good health!!
stella @jeonqhcn - stella idk if youll see this but i hope school is going alright for u :( ur super smart (srsly) and really kind, ps jeonghan misses u (mingyu tells me jeonghan asks if you’ve said anything 2 me abt him) hope we get to talk more soon!!

renata @powerfulhoshi - u are one of the most encouraging ppl on here, ur full of nothing but positive light and energy.......u always make me feel less heavy when i talk to u, its refreshing. ur also one of the most under-appreciated content creators in this fandom,,,, wtf....im salty.....but im sure in 2018 u will be greeted w nothing but success and admiration !! bejos to u  (♄◥‿◥♄)
emmy @shuvee - emmy u are uber talented and uber intelligent!! i was not expecting to be ur friend considering u are Ultra Cooleℱ but its interesting talking about really serious stuff and bitching abt college :////, i didnt rly expect to ever talk to u......so im still in shock tbh. and to think this whole friendship was started bc i didnt know a ship name (wasnt it junshua)???? iconic

2015 INSTAGRAM FASHION ROUNDUP PART V
Here is the 5th part of our 2015 Instagram fashion breakdown series! In this chapter we’re taking a look at items mostly from Gaga’s personal wardrobe.
Tumblr media
On January 15 she posted a bunch of photos of her posing by her car before meeting RedOne for a studio session.
Gaga wore a long-sleeved purple snake print rayon romper by Planet Blue.
Tumblr media
Her oversized black Hamilton sunglasses with silver mirrored lenses (you can take a closer look here) are from Illesteva.
Tumblr media
On January 21 she and RedOne had a music session again, where she was wearing the Helena printed silk tie-waist robe with crochet back and sleeve trim by STONE_COLD_FOX.
Tumblr media
The same month Gaga headed to the Endeavor Screening Room in Beverly Hills while sporting the Winston White Joey floral-printed romper featuring a ruffle-trimmed hem and back cut-out with tie closure.
Tumblr media
"It's 5 o'clock somewhere" The robe she wore at the airport on September 12 is Queenie Joy from Olivia von Halle’s 2015 “The Buckingham” collection.
This piece is finished with a chartreuse silk sash that narrows the waist.
Tumblr media
Her sunglasses are the Versace Spring/Summer 2014 red Stud Ladies, which we’ve seen her rock in black before.
Tumblr media
The MCM Christina black leather bag which she got customized with an artwork by artist Blair Breitenstein accessorized the look perfectly.
Tumblr media
"On hour sixteen of traveling from Europe to US with 3-4 more hours to go. time to get rowdy #gypsy #nofilter #unretouched" Back in Chicago (July 18), Gaga changed into something more comfortable.
She donned a pair of denim shorts, an oversized Brooks Brothers Madison windowpane sport coat and the Astrid Stella bra by Morgan Lane.
The triangle bra features golden metallic lurex stripes, a hook-and-eye closure and adjustable halters. When arriving at the O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, she threw on her dad’s grey blazer on top.
Tumblr media
Gaga is a huge fan of classic, iconic eyewear. She opted for the Ray-Ban 1157 50 sunglasses with brown tortoise shell frames.
Her gold-plated “Mother Monster” necklace is a fan gift by Ofry Feingold. She revealed to me that the label behind the unique piece is Opal.
Tumblr media
This isn’t an Instagram post but I just had to include it. Gaga uploaded above car photo via Little Monsters with the caption "The secret life of an entrepreneur... ✌", wearing the Shiloh pinstripe silk shirt and matching Soren pants by Equipment.
Tumblr media
The Queenie cat-eye sunglasses in nude by Le Specs completed the look.
Tumblr media
"GOOD MORNING" Gaga posted on July 12. She’s wearing a vintage Grateful Dead 1972 “Europeïżœïżœâ€˜72″ tee. The graphic shows a foot sticking out of a rainbow hovering over the earth.
