But I just had to say

Andrealphus's butler??!?!? Like 👀🤨😦??!?!?? Is that fuxking *aesthetic* scarring??!?!?? Like YES, i KNOW, I'm not stupid, it's LITERALLY Hell, weve been over this, but something about the fact that it's so, like, idk clean? and complete? where I almost didn't notice it until his tail vanished off-frame and then I had to rewind. Like maybe this is just a minor detail, but like. I just kinda had to pause sit n stare for a bit. Like. Look at that. Look at the pattern of the scarring. Yes we've seen aesthetic imp scarring before with Barbie but something about it always gave thw impression that it was a choice she fully made for herself, whether she had someone do it or did it herself. The fucking butler, though. Look at those hands and tail and tell me that was a choice he made.

Mini-review:

What a pleasant surprise! I started this because of the cast and ended up loving pretty much everything about it. For starters, it has a wicked sense of humor that I absolutely vibed with. The script is very clever, and it manages to shock you time and time again. I also appreciate the short length of the episodes, cause that kept the pace super tight and didn't give leeway for any boring moments. As for the acting, it was so fun to see Sherry-Lee Watson and Will McDonald doing something so different to their Heartbreak High roles, and both Miranda Otto and Noah Taylor give hilarious performances. The cinematography and the music are just as great, too. Overall, Thou Shalt Not Steal is an impressive crime-comedy that won't leave you indifferent.

There is a constant deep fear that wells up inside me and radiates out beyond my reaches.

I cannot fix it, or contain it, my efforts to temper that overwhelming fear yield few if any results.

All I can do is watch everything I could possibly have loved decay around me while I stay stagnant and bound by it.

Struggling against it makes the grip tighter. Trying to stay calm makes it reach further. It strangles the life out of my own soul and salts the earth beneath me.

It will subside, for a moment, a day, a brief respite of peace, enough to make hope bloom in me again. But the earth remains salted, my soul remains suffocated, deprived of oxygen and struggling to breathe.

And inevitably, it will well up inside me again, and radiate beyond my reaches. That fear will kill me one day, and even in the dreadful wait before it does, it makes me wonder if death would be better than this.

Is there a purpose to living if you are perpetually unable to move beyond the vice-like cage of your basest emotions? If the beauty of being alive is the capacity to change, then what of the ugliness of being stuck, forever frozen as a version of yourself you will always hate?

That fear wells up inside me again, an endless loop with no escape, reaching further and further until there's nothing left except for that fear, consuming everything I've ever known.
