YIEL: Um... I can't eat <nervous> but I wish I could. Apparently GAR'S old enough to have eaten before, he says it's nothing special but I think he's just never had anything good <skeptical>

LADY: I had corn once and, um... clogged the toilet. I'm sure your Earth exports are lovely, I just can't handle so much fiber.

GUNNELL: Ho-ho, corn? That's exotic exotic. I've had it before and I like the taste but I wouldn't eat it as part of a home meal.

THE PIRATE: Well maybe I'd have an answer for you if I could get my talons on anything other than NUTRIENT PASTE

CIPRIAN: Man, you can eat people for all I care, just clean up after yourself and we're cool.

STELLA: ...Bro

IUWAU: I HATE CORN. I don't even have anything against the taste, but the sound of someone eating it makes me want to leap out of my skin.

MOLLIMAR: Tastes okay, but pretty much everything tastes similar to me. I'll shamelessly piggyback off of Devon's opinion and say it's great.

BYZOW: It is unlike anything on my home planet! I like it. The taste is not good to me but the appearance is so funny.

PHIER-KEL: I love corn. I'm #1 corn warrior. Corn fears me. I'm the bane of corn. I love it so much, I have a t-shirt about it. The day I die is the day 70% more corn becomes available on the market. Corn. 4. Life. (He talks like this about all food he likes.)

there were so many characters i could've put in various spots or just switched around. elizabeth afton could've gone in 'by plot' instead of eve. sora could've been switched to comfort character. vanessa fnaf could've gone Anywhere i love her so much. but i took this as a fun excuse to draw some of my faves that i don't normally get around to! :)

Crowned Saurvos are a species of quadrupedal, two-toed animals that inhabit the plains and forests of Luria. Using their large beaks, they cut the stems of fruit and foliage in their habitat. They get their name from the group of large feathers adorning their heads, which can be fluffed up in a threat or mating display.

Saurvos are a bi-sex species, living in small herds that comprise of a dominant male, several females, and young. The males fight using their sharp beaks, claws, and spurs. Males are called bucks, females are called does.

Young saurvos are called crias or fawns, and are covered with a white downy coat that gradually sheds as they age. Their eyes start blue and change to brown, hazel or green as they get older. Crowned saurvos like to nest, laying clutches of 1-3 large eggs on the ground in the early warm season.

While not fully domesticated, Lurians like to tame & raise them for use as companions and work animals. They are hardy and use their secondary nostrils to sense changes in air pressure and wind direction. Lem is an older crowned saurvo, he was owned by Stella's sister Helia before her and Orbis' disappearance.

Saurvos, along with Saurovians, Gulfilicans, and Flurahuse all descended from a common ancestor millions of years ago. Saurvos and Flurahuse are on a long separated branch from their flying cousins.

Lita Small

I figured once again it was about time I introduced another character to you all xD You may have read about her in some of my other posts, but today's OC bio will be on Stella Small's daughter and Steve Small's niece, Lita Small! As usual, just picture her as the same species as them, but unlike those two, you can see here she has red hair. If you've read Stella's bio, well.... you know why that is.

Lita's full name is Lita Courtney Madonna Small. Born in North Carolina on the night of December 6th, 2012, her mother gave her her first name after her favorite singer Lita Ford, and her 2 middle names after her 2 other favorite female musicians, Madonna of course and Courtney Love. Since Lita was born, Stella, Takumi, Colleen and Trixie have all worked to raise her together to the best of their abilities while travelling the country and playing shows over the years in multiple different states. Because of how much travelling this small family of 5 had done, Lita has gotten to see way more of the country than most kids her age get to, but unlike most kids, Lita has never really stayed in one place long enough to be able to make friends, so Lita has never faced the same feeling of anxiousness most kids feel if they move somewhere else. In a sense, the only people Lita has ever really had in her life for so long were Stella, Colleen, Trixie and Takumi, and because of this, she's never gotten to connect with anyone her own age before.

This changed however when one day, Colleen finally convinced Stella to move back to Elmore and reconnect with her brother and face her past, and to also apply Lita to a public school so she can get a proper education and actually be able to make friends. When Lita learned that for once, they'd be staying somewhere long term and she'd be going to school with other kids her age, she had no problem with this initially, but she did become extremely nervous because of how new this is to her, and she had no idea how to interact with people her own age.

Soon after a long drive back to Elmore, California, Lita watched her mom, aunts and uncles from backstage as they played their first show in the small town, and after the show ended, Lita was introduced to her uncle Steve, who..... well, to say he was shocked and also overwhelmed with happiness to meet his niece for the first time while also just now learning of her existence would be an understatement. That sweet man just immediately pulled her into a hug and told her how happy he was to meet her and how much she looked like her mom. Nicole, Richard, Patrick, Judith, Karen were all shocked too to find out Stella had a daughter, and they all couldn't help but silently question to themselves who Lita's father was, especially since at that point they all knew Stella liked girls. Course, some of them (namely Nicole and Patrick) were quick to notice the hue of Lita's red hair, and it didn't take long before they began to have their suspicions on Lita's conception, especially once they all learned that Lita's birthday was in early December, and upon remembering the last time Stella had been to Elmore was in March of 2012, it wasn't hard for them to do the math in their heads from there...... Even if they didn't know the full truth, they still had their suspicions, especially when they remembered a certain Wilson who was very relentless in his pursuits towards Stella during their highschool days.

Anyway, after Steve's reunion with his sister and his first meeting with his niece, Steve decided to let the both of them move in with him and his adopted son Rob (shout out to @spideyladman for inspiring me to add this idea), and from there began a new life for the 4 of them as they all began to live together. It was still summer time and school wouldn't be starting for another couple weeks, so Steve and Stella took the time to show Lita around Elmore, showing her all the different things there are to do in town, and overall helping her get a good feel of her new home, which Lita at that point realized they'd at least be likely living in Elmore for the next 6 years until Lita graduates at 18. Lita soon met a few kids around the town she would be attending school with, namely Gumball, Darwin, Penny, Tobias, Rachel and a few others, and one night Patrick and Judith even invited Steve and Stella over for dinner, which allowed Lita, Rob and Penny to spend some time together while the adults had their typical adult conversations. Lita had never quite crushed on anyone before, but the first moment she and Penny spent time together, she found herself feeling really fond of Penny and wanting to be closer to her. Course, once school started and she found herself in the same 7th grade class as Penny, Gumball and everyone else, she soon learned about Penny dating Gumball..... She didn't let it get her down since she was still happy to spend time with Penny as a friend, but little did Lita know was that as time passed, she would find herself yearning for Penny more and more.

Overall, besides that and besides the shyness Lita tries to overcome as she makes all of her first friends in a school environment and learns just how strange some kids can be, she ends up having a very enjoyable time in school, even on the more difficult days brought on by your usual middle school drama. In a way it helps too that her uncle is the school counselor, since he's always there to help give her some sort of advice when she really needs it.

One diifficulty she does have in school is that because of how much she moved around and that the only people in her life for so long were 4 middle aged rockers, she has a hard time relating to most kids in today's world. Lita likes rock and roll and metal, but the only person in school that shares the same interest as her is Carrie. She also doesn't have social media, doesn't know all the latest stuff kids are into, and overall this causes her to feel a little bit self conscious that she sticks out like a sore thumb. She doesn't blame her family for not keeping her up to date on these things at all, she's aware of the generational differences between some adults and kids, but it makes her worry still if the others would want to be her friend if they knew how behind she was on the latest trends, especially because they already find it weird she has a flipphone instead of a smart phone. Thankfully, none of the kids at Elmore are shallow like that, they all still enjoy her company regardless of how behind she is on today's pop culture. Between her chill personality most of the time, and the fact she's the only kid in school brave enough to stand up to kids like Jamie, Tina and Julius, most of her classmates actually find Lita really cool...... it helps her reputation a little too that Lita once cussed out Ms. Simian in class, even if it did earn her a week of detention.

Course, even with school being such an amazing time for her, she's also really happy for the most part about her new home life with her uncle and adopted cousin. Rob felt comfortable enough to tell Lita about the void and how it damaged him when he escaped, and even fold her how he spent probably the last year trying to get revenge on Darwin and Gumball for saving Molly and not him, but that once Steve adopted him, he stopped doing that and has been slowly making peace with himself and the new life he was gifted thanks to his adoptive father. The both of them end up becoming really close like brother and sister, and she begins to look up to Steve as a father figure rather than an uncle, especially when she sees how protective of his family Steve is. Course, sometimes Steve and Stella argue at home when they have certain disagreements on how to raise the kids, one such argument being when Steve calls Stella out for not making Lita eat more balanced meals through the day (this happened because Steve feels Lita needs to eat more vegetarian meals for breakfast instead of always having cereal, pop tarts or microwavable breakfast burritos), but Stella argues back saying that just going on a vegan diet isn't healthy for kids and that Lita eats just fine. Whatever the argument, Steve and Stella go back and forth every time and seem annoyed by their disagreements, but at the end they always come to some sort of solution and never let their fights get to them. Honestly, these two twins just love each other too much to ever hold a grudge against the other.

Alongside having good friends at school and a good family, Lita at one point had also found a friend in someone very unexpected, especially since most people in the town hardly ever pay this person the time of day. That being none other than Larry Needlemeyer.... Sometimes when she has a bad day but it's too personal for Lita to talk about with anyone else, she'll go to wherever Larry might be working that day, and if the place is empty enough to where it's just her and Larry, Lita will take the moment to vent to Larry about whatever is bothering her. This confuses Larry at first since very few people, let alone kids ever open up to him the way Lita is, and it's rare for him that anyone ever gives him the time of day to talk, buy slowly but surely he begins to appreciate Lita's presence a little more, soon not only listening to her each time, but now and then feeling comfortable enough to talk to her about some of the stuff he has going on in his life. These interactions end up sparking a very unusual but sweet friendship between Larry and Lita, to say the least.

Course, even with the good people Lita has befriended in this small town, there are of course a few bad apples that Lita has become aware of...... She knows all too well about Elmore's resident Karen, Felicity Parham, as well as Elmore's resident sociopath Margaret Robinson, but one thing Lita has noticed is her mother Stella's tendency to avoid certain someone if they're ever somehow in close proximity, that being Harold Wilson. If Lita is at the grocery store with Stella or Steve and one of them notices Harold is there too, they're quick to keep Lita the hell away from him and get her as far away from him as possible. If there's an event at school and Stella suspects Harold will be there, Lita has noticed Stella will stay home just to avoid him, except for the one parent teacher night that Harold can't attend, so Stella does come. But what really sets off alarm bells in Lita's head is that usually whenever a friend from school invites Lita to hang out at their house, Stella always says yes..... but the one time Tobias invites Lita over and she asks Stella if she can go? Stella says to her "No. Listen to me, Lita.... this isn't because of something you did and it's got nothing to do with Tobias or Rachel. I'm sure they're good kids, but listen to me...... Their father, Harold Wilson, is not a good man. I don't mind you spending time with your friends at school, I'm okay if you hang out with them somewhere in the town..... but I don't want you anywhere in their house. I don't want you to go anywhere near their father. Anyone else's house is fine, just stay the hell away from the Wilsons' house..... do you understand me?". Lita just stands there confused but can see how serious her mother is about this warning, so she just nods in understanding after that lecture. Lita wants to question why Harold Wilson is dangerous, but something in her keeps her from questioning her mother, and that same something keeps her from telling Tobias and Rachel as well, at that point just having the feeling something is definitely wrong......

Course, a little fact about Stella here is that for the last 12 years, there have been nights that Stella had woken up abruptly from a bad dream of some sort, whatever happened in those dreams being enough to make her cry uncontrollably in the arms of either Takumi, Colleen or Trixie..... Lita has always known about these strange nightmares Stella has had, but ever since they moved in with Steve and Rob, Lita has noticed the nightmares becoming more and more frequent and her mother getting less and less sleep, usually having to be consoled by by Steve now at night when the nightmares do come....... between that and her noticing how hard she and Steve try to avoid Harold, it isn't long before Lita begins to realize there's a connection, realizing that a certain someone was probably the reason Stella hesitated for so long to come home, and wondering just what exactly Harold had done to hurt her mother. Little does she know is how much the truth will not only hurt her, but also how unveiling it would impact her closest friends and the community of Elmore........

CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Stella Solaria is based on Stella from Winx Club. She is a 26 year old fairy, Haus of De Vil employee, and uses she/her pronouns. She has the power of flight, teleportation, and light manipulation. Stella is portrayed by Gabbi Garcia and she is open.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Being the crown princess of Solaria didn’t mean that Stella was a perfect princess. In fact, she got into trouble more often than not. Her one job growing up was to keep the ring of Solaria safe as she grew into her power and harnessed her magic, but guarding the ring meant she was a target for all kinds of supernatural-related attacks. She was sent to Alfea in a way to be safe, but that didn’t stop the ogres and the witches from coming after her and the ring. It was kind of funny that the constant threats to her life was what led to her meeting her best friend Bloom, but honestly she wouldn’t have had it any other way. Finding Bloom changed everything, not just for her, but for Alfea too. She made Stella connect with her peers when she wouldn’t have ever even tried on her own. She showed Stella that she was more than just a pretty princess with a killer sense of fashion and a vain exterior. In a lot of ways, Stella grew so much as a person because of Bloom and her squad, the Winx Club. Sure, Stella liked to consider herself the leader of the group and butted heads with the other girls from time to time, but in her eyes she was the natural-born ruler. She knew the most about the world around them because she had to repeat a year at Alfea! As their world grew more dangerous and tacky witches came to steal their power for themselves, the Winx Club was there to stop it. Stella’s power grew fast and before she knew it, she wasn’t constantly getting hounded for her ring. It was nice to be able to defend herself and keep her loved ones protected and she really did start applying herself better. Until she lost the ring of Solaria for real. It felt like one day she woke up and it was just… gone. With no explanation and not wanting to worry her friends, she sought it out herself. She tracked it down to Earth and after teleporting herself to its location, everything went black. She woke up in a town called Evermore with no memories beyond the fact that she was a fairy and royalty at that. She was back to square one in terms of character development and couldn’t remember a single one of her friends back at Alfea. She jumped right into things and got herself a job at Haus of De Vil, though she was hoping to someday stop working for others and get her own fashion line going. She wasn’t used to having to work a real job and get along with people she did not vibe with, but Stella, if anything, is determined. She doesn’t give up easily and she tries her best to keep it optimistic. She has a strange feeling that everything is out of balance with the world but royalty or not what is she going to do? She wished she could figure out what was missing in her life but she is sure it will all come back to her when she needs it the most.

They became fast friends not too long after she arrived and Stella is constantly going to her for fashion advice and emergency shopping trips. ❀ Lucia Solares: Stella may act like she is above gossip, but she really isn’t and she goes to Lucia all the time for the info on what’s going on around Evermore! She thinks they are so funny and fun to be around. ❀ Toulouse Bonfamille: Stella wants to get more into art and has recruited the eldest Bonfamille to help her expand beyond basic fashion sketches. It was also an excuse to look at him more. Sue her!

Saurovians are a family of large, quadrupedal flying species that populate the planet Luria. They are related to Gulfilicans and distantly related to Flurahuse. Each species has a beak, large eyes, nostrils, and a heat sensing pit.

Desert Saurovians: Slim, bare-skinned on the legs and head/neck area, and crowned with a hard casque. These beasts are mainly independent scavengers, scoping for prey from cliff faces and eating with their large teeth. Their skull-shaped markings and dreary coloring have made them synonymous with death

Oceanic Saurovians: Longer beaks, wings and fins help these saurovians as they skim and dive through the water for food, with their thin, baleen-like teeth allow them to filter food from seawater. They travel together in small flocks.

Jungle Saurovians: The smallest of the three, with fins shaped for elliptical flight through dense forests. Their diet is more omnivorous, including fruits and nuts as well as the odd vespaform. They are the most social of the saurovian species, living in large family groups. First of the species to be utilized by Lurians as a means of travel and companionship
