I’ve thought I could post some of my pencils sketches fanart to Lin Rina’s Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) too though it’s probably weird just post them without further comments (because that would take lots of explanation). But hey, I think these look good, so why not to post them on another place where hardly anyone cares for my works, right? Ahem.  Yes, the bottom two, belongs together. Except of the fourth one, all were drawn during November. For second, fourth and sixth picture I used pose ref by @jookpubstock  , for third one I used ref pic by ThePoseArchives.

Animant Crumb, from the same book as Thomas Reed on the previous drawing here.  When I was about to draw her I was searching for some pose among the ref pics that would fit her and found this with putting a book into a shelf which matches perfectly ot her and the story and so made a sketch and was pleased how the sketch is turning out and then I’ve thought - dang! I’ll have to draw rows of books in the background again. Hahaha. I almost gave up but then I didn’t and I wasn’t quite enough patient to give proper care to drawing the shapes of the books, I think it turned out pretty fine at the end. Actually I’m rather happy how it turned out - not just the background, but Animant herself and the drawing as whole. Maybe I’m not so hopeless in the drawing after all. Pose reference is by AdorkaStock again and it’s drawn with Derwent Inktense again :).

'Die Sumpflochsaga' war meine Kindheit, ich liiiebe die Sumpflochsaga. Von Halo Summer, ihr Buch 'Rabenschwärze' ist auch mega gut :)

Dann mag ich noch 'Staubchronik' & 'Gemmas Gedanken' von Lin Rina

Uuund die Allana Serie, das erste Buch heisst 'Die Schwarze Stadt', die sind etwas älter

After a way too long time I found finally a book I can’t lay down!  It’s not this adventures but going with Animant on her journey in London 1890 makes me so happy. It’s without much drama and the characters are all sweet!! 

AND obviously the man she hates at the very beginning is more interesting as she thinks. I LOVE IT! THIS IS WHAT I WANT! CALM SLOW BURN BOOKS WITHOUT MUCH DRAMA! I I do have a thing for this xD

New drawing for Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) by Lin Rina.  It’s now running StabchronikNovember challenge, that is re-reading of the book according to days in the story (most of the story happens during one month of November), and I decided I would add some skethcing to it too. I won’t post all sketches/drawings here (where hardly anyone cares for it anyway) but I’ve thought I could some of them. (I’m posting all of them on Instagram) I won’t explain the scene, I just add that Mr.Reed here (and books in his hands too) is supposed to look wet and I think I rather managed to do the wet look despite the fact that I had no idea how to do that.  Reference pics for head and hands by @jookpubstock . I don't know if it's not weird to mention the references when it's just pieces and they ended up looking somewhat different anyway but I was using them so I guess it's polite to do that, right?

Thomas Reed from the book by Lin Rina - Animant Crumbs Staubchronik (that’s  original (german) title, in czech it’s Kroniky prachu, I’m not sure if it even has english edition, I tried for search for it and didn’t find it (just like I didn’t find bany fanart either)). Anyway - I totally LOVE the book, I don’t even remember when I last enjoyed reading so much (if ever). I haven’t finished yet, I was just few chapters from the end and slowed down, because I don’t want to end it yet! and then was busy with finishing the crochet gift. Anyway I guess you can expect more fanart. And I really like how this turned out and it has even bakcground again! Well, rather lame I admit, but I didn’t have nerves to make whole background of books (it’s in library) basically third time in row lol, so just went with the stairs (I had the first appearance of Thomas on my mind when drawing it) and it’s definitely better than just usual uncertain smudges in the background... wait, is this third time in row that I actually drew the background? Wow, I deserve a biscuit. :D Anyway. Drawn with Derwent Inktense and the pose ref is by AdorkaStock

Drei neue Schmuckstücke brachte heute die Post. Einmal "Staubchronik" von @teekind , "Eine kurze Geschichte der Menschheit" von @yuvalnoahharari und dann noch ein Hörbuch von @kaimeyerautor "die Spur der Bücher". Leider fehlt noch eins 😖.
