I’ve thought I could post some of my pencils sketches fanart to Lin Rina’s Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) too though it’s probably weird just post them without further comments (because that would take lots of explanation). But hey, I think these look good, so why not to post them on another place where hardly anyone cares for my works, right? Ahem.  Yes, the bottom two, belongs together. Except of the fourth one, all were drawn during November. For second, fourth and sixth picture I used pose ref by @jookpubstock  , for third one I used ref pic by ThePoseArchives.

(I was posting my book wrap-up for 2022 on Instagram and I’ve thought I could post it here as well, so here it is.)

My book wrap up for 2022 (no idea if someone from the people who follow me here is interested but just in case writing it in english, and at least you can look at the picture (reference picture for the books was by @jookpubstock  by the way. Not that I didn't have enough books to make my own lol. Anyway.)

Overall I read 56 books, 4 of them in english and 7 were re-reads. Plus 7 comic books (one of them in english) The best books: Staubchronik by @teekind (that's like book of the year, decade, century, everything. Just the best book ever I guess :D) (and then in no particular order:) Lunar Chronicles by @marissameyerauthor (shut up, that counts as one book), The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune Sisters of Sword and Song by Rebecca Ross Sorcery of Thorns by @margaret_rogerson The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E.Harrow Balada o snech by Markéta Prášková Dcera Zimy by Vladimíra Šebová Disappointments (no particular order): Mister Romance by Leisa Rayven The Hating Game by Sally Thorne (not sure about the english title) Beasts and Beauty: Dangerous Tales by Soman Chainani Saturnin se vrací by Miroslav Macek Most of the books I read this year was thanks to YouTube channel @radsi_knihu (mostly) and also @eliss_books and it's also thanks to (accidentally) encountering their YT channels that I started to read more last autumn (after a very long time when I read only a little though I always loved reading. Apparently I just didn't know what to read :).)

Animant Crumbs Staubchronik -Lin Rina

I love that book.

The protagonist Animant is absolutely adorable and it’s so much fun to read her story, about her feelings and the problems she has, some set by the ‘proper society’, while some are the funny quirks of love and what it does to us humans. It’s so cute how she falls in love and the reader is completely moved to the 1890s London.

'Die Sumpflochsaga' war meine Kindheit, ich liiiebe die Sumpflochsaga. Von Halo Summer, ihr Buch 'Rabenschwärze' ist auch mega gut :)

Dann mag ich noch 'Staubchronik' & 'Gemmas Gedanken' von Lin Rina

Uuund die Allana Serie, das erste Buch heisst 'Die Schwarze Stadt', die sind etwas älter

After a way too long time I found finally a book I can’t lay down!  It’s not this adventures but going with Animant on her journey in London 1890 makes me so happy. It’s without much drama and the characters are all sweet!! 

AND obviously the man she hates at the very beginning is more interesting as she thinks. I LOVE IT! THIS IS WHAT I WANT! CALM SLOW BURN BOOKS WITHOUT MUCH DRAMA! I I do have a thing for this xD

I have to say that this is by far my most favourite book. I've read it so many times that the edges are dull and there are srapes all over it.

But just right now I thaught about what it was gonna be like after Ani and Thomas returned to London and she was to hold him to his promise :

"I will never again - never - set a foot in the archive !" - "Never", he swore.

So I have this strange headcanon that once they've returned and start working regularly again Ani will pay Phillip his two schillings and as soon as she turnes around Thomas will stand there, very close by the way, and take the papers out of her hands to take care of them while Ani stands besides him watching as he takes care of what was so hard for her to manage with the little force she had and then, as he has finished getting the old papers out of the stand, he smiles at her, knowing exactly how lucky he is and walking off to the archive. And as Ani watches that she just can't help but laugh way to loud in those sacret halls of wispher and papers of pages of books, that is now full filled with their happines and students, that look up from their books because of the girl that is standing there and laughing like the man of her dreams had just told her that he loved her.

You can't tell me this went any other way.

Animant Crumb, from the same book as Thomas Reed on the previous drawing here.  When I was about to draw her I was searching for some pose among the ref pics that would fit her and found this with putting a book into a shelf which matches perfectly ot her and the story and so made a sketch and was pleased how the sketch is turning out and then I’ve thought - dang! I’ll have to draw rows of books in the background again. Hahaha. I almost gave up but then I didn’t and I wasn’t quite enough patient to give proper care to drawing the shapes of the books, I think it turned out pretty fine at the end. Actually I’m rather happy how it turned out - not just the background, but Animant herself and the drawing as whole. Maybe I’m not so hopeless in the drawing after all. Pose reference is by AdorkaStock again and it’s drawn with Derwent Inktense again :).

1. What did you dream about last night?

i don't remember much of it but i know that i was in a car (i wasn't driving so there probably was somebody else there too) and we were driving somewhere i don't remember either. but i remember feeling absolutely content - safe (i often dream about such mundane things and sometimes they become super trippy with glitches and all xD).

5. Name a movie that makes you genuinely laugh.

i had to think really really long about this but i laughed a lot while watching Juno - though it has an important and serious message too. 

7. What do you enjoy daydreaming about most?

mostly about random romantic scenarios i already played a million times in my head,  "what if..." situations or weird metaphors for things i feel or think about a lot.

20. What’s the sweetest thing someone has done for you?

my two best friends wrote the sweetest letters for me last year around christmas <3 they were probably the sweetest thing i've ever received.

Drei neue Schmuckstücke brachte heute die Post. Einmal "Staubchronik" von @teekind , "Eine kurze Geschichte der Menschheit" von @yuvalnoahharari und dann noch ein Hörbuch von @kaimeyerautor "die Spur der Bücher". Leider fehlt noch eins 😖.
