I’ve thought I could post some of my pencils sketches fanart to Lin Rina’s Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) too though it’s probably weird just post them without further comments (because that would take lots of explanation). But hey, I think these look good, so why not to post them on another place where hardly anyone cares for my works, right? Ahem.  Yes, the bottom two, belongs together. Except of the fourth one, all were drawn during November. For second, fourth and sixth picture I used pose ref by @jookpubstock  , for third one I used ref pic by ThePoseArchives.

Animant Crumb, from the same book as Thomas Reed on the previous drawing here.  When I was about to draw her I was searching for some pose among the ref pics that would fit her and found this with putting a book into a shelf which matches perfectly ot her and the story and so made a sketch and was pleased how the sketch is turning out and then I’ve thought - dang! I’ll have to draw rows of books in the background again. Hahaha. I almost gave up but then I didn’t and I wasn’t quite enough patient to give proper care to drawing the shapes of the books, I think it turned out pretty fine at the end. Actually I’m rather happy how it turned out - not just the background, but Animant herself and the drawing as whole. Maybe I’m not so hopeless in the drawing after all. King Of Scars (Leigh Bardugo) Všichni milovníci světa Griši se konečně dočkají nové série o mladém králi Nikolajovi, který stojí před spoustou důležitých rozhodnutí, aby udržel svou zemi Ravku pohromadě. Knížku si kromě autorčiných fanoušků ale můžete užít i vy, kdo jste od ní nic nečetli. A než dostanete do rukou tento příběh, nezapomeňte si ukrátit čas třeba duologií Šest vran nebo knihou povídek Trnitá řeč. Aspoň zjistíte, jak skvěle Leigh Bardugo píše a jak moc její postavy milujete! Vyjde ve Fragmentu.

Nevernight (Jay Kristoff) Takhle originální příběh ještě dlouho nepotkáte! Hlavní hrdinka Mia se přihlásí do školy pro nájemné vrahy, aby mohla pomstít svého mrtvého otce. Mimochodem vidíte správně – tenhle autor tvoří polovinu spisovatelského dua, které má na svědomí sérii Akta Illuminae. Takže to prostě musí být naprosto dokonalé. Vyjde v CooBoo.

Dance Of Thieves (Mary E. Pearson) Autorka série Kroniky pozůstalých konečně přichází s novou fantasy! Můžete se těšit na pouličního zloděje, spoustu královských intrik a možná taky návrat některých postav z původní trilogie. Ale nebojte, knihu můžete číst i nezávisle – odehrává se ve stejném světě, ale bývalí protagonisté se tu jen mihnou, takže je nemusíte znát. Vyjde v CooBoo.

Bloodleaf (Crystal Smith) Princeznu Aurelii na trůně nikdo nechce a navíc nesmí používat svou krvavou magii. Proto po neúspěšném útoku uprchne z vlastního království, ačkoli ji duchové stále pronásledují... Pokud máte rádi temné příběhy s osobitou hlavní hrdinkou a zajímavé fantasy světy s různými druhy magie, tuhle knihu si rozhodně nenechte ujít! Vyjde ve Fragmentu.

Everless (Sara Holland) V tomhle světě se rčení „Čas jsou peníze“ naplnilo do puntíku. A společnosti to zrovna moc nepomáhá. Hlavní hrdinka Jules se snaží získat aspoň trochu času pro svého umírajícího otce, ale to bohužel není tak jednoduché. Tohle je příběh plný záhad a intrik, který vás nutí otáčet stránky jednu za druhou rychlostí blesku. Originálnější knihu byste hledali jen těžko a ať už čekáte cokoli, budete rozhodně překvapení. Několikrát. Vyjde ve Fragmentu.

The Beholder (Anna Bright) Selah se může stát dědičkou trůnu jedině v případě, že se jí podaří najít si vhodného nápadníka. To ovšem není snadné, zvlášť po odmítnutí jejího nejlepšího přítele – a tak se vydá za oceán. Bez manžela se vrátit nesmí a čeká na ni spousta intrik a nástrah... Už takhle zní ten příběh famózně, ale prý to má být dokonce retelling Odyssey! Tohle potřebujeme. Vyjde v CooBoo.

Sky in the Deep (Adrienne Young) Na severu vedle sebe žijí dva rivalské klany Vikingů. Když Eelyn v bitvě na opačné straně zahlédne svého bratra, kterého před pěti lety viděla zemřít, všechno se najednou změní. Tohle je příběh o přátelství, zároveň se ale dočkáte i epických bojových scén a možná i malé špetky romantiky... Vyjde ve Fragmentu.

Opposite Of Always (Justin A. Reynolds) Když Jack potká Kate, je to láska na první pohled. Ti dva se samozřejmě dají dohromady, jenže happyendem příběh nekončí. Kate umře a Jack se ocitne zpátky v momentě jejich prvního setkání. Co byste dělali vy, kdybyste měli šanci změnit část svého života? My bychom si rozhodně přečetly pár bestsellerů dřív – ale pak bychom skočili dopředu v čase, abychom mohli konečně zjistit, jak Kate s Jackem nakonec dopadli. Vyjde v CooBoo.

Three Dark Crowns (Kendare Blake) Královně se pokaždé narodí tři dcery. Vyrostou odděleně a po dosažení šestnácti let mezi sebou začínají bojovat na život a na smrt. Jedna vládne zvířatům, druhá živlům a třetí jedům. Která se ale nakonec stane novou královnou? Tenhle strhující příběh vás chytne a nepustí. A pokud jste jako my, zamilujete se do všech tří sester a nebudete se moct rozhodnout, komu vlastně fandíte. Vyjde ve Fragmentu.

Prokletá krev (Ange) V tomhle příběhu se snoubí Selekce a upíři. Ano, čtete správně. Selekce a upíři. Celý děj se odehrává v současnosti, zároveň v sobě ale má víc než špetku fantasy. Přidejte si francouzské prostředí paláce Versailles a výborné zahraniční hodnocení... Stejně jako my jste nejspíš právě zjistili, že tahle pecka vám v knihovně nemůže chybět! Vyjde v CooBoo.

Kroniky prachu Animant Crumbové (Lin Rina) Píše se rok 1890. Dívky v jejím věku se starají o plesy, šaty a shánějí ženichy. Devatenáctiletá Ani ale žije ve světě knih a potrpí si na sarkasmus, takže zrovna moc nezapadá. Když se jí dostane možnosti strávit měsíc v Londýně a pracovat tam v knihovně, samozřejmě neodmítne. No řekněte, který knihomol by odolal příběhu, z něhož přímo prýští láska k literatuře? My si ho tedy rozhodně ujít nenecháme. Vyjde ve Fragmentu.

Marky je nekonečná knihomolka (endlessbibliophile) z Prahy. Miluje knížky, blogování, hudbu, jazyky, tanec a milion dalších věcí. Náruživá čtenářka, která si i čekání ve frontě krátí čtením a večerní nudu zahání psaním o knihách. Introvert, který nedá dopustit na černý čaj. Pokud v jejích rukou není kniha, je tam pero. Buď proto, že je blázen do moderní kaligrafie a handletteringu nebo proto, že se snaží sepsat svou vlastní knihu.

New drawing for Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) by Lin Rina.  It’s now running StabchronikNovember challenge, that is re-reading of the book according to days in the story (most of the story happens during one month of November), and I decided I would add some skethcing to it too. I won’t post all sketches/drawings here (where hardly anyone cares for it anyway) but I’ve thought I could some of them. (I’m posting all of them on Instagram) I won’t explain the scene, I just add that Mr.Reed here (and books in his hands too) is supposed to look wet and I think I rather managed to do the wet look despite the fact that I had no idea how to do that.  Reference pics for head and hands by @jookpubstock . I don't know if it's not weird to mention the references when it's just pieces and they ended up looking somewhat different anyway but I was using them so I guess it's polite to do that, right?

Another Staubchronik fanart I drew on occasion of StaubchronikNovember. Monday of Animant's second week in London. One of the reasons she went to London to work as an assistant in library was to get away from her mum's continuous forcing Animant to participate in various parties to meet young men (and get married of course). To Animant's shock at Monday midday mum appears in London (right in the library, moreover very loudly). (and Mr.Reed who happened to be beside her at the moment, looks a bit surprised :D). (they're standing on the gallery, Animant is looking down in the hall) Pose refs again by @jookpubstock (one from Expressions pack for Animant and about three various pics for Mr.Reed :)) )

Another fanart for Lin Rina’s Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik).  It’s Animant’s first week in London, in front of the library, Mr.Reed is surprised to see Animant to come the second day as well and Animant is trying to look like she doesn't get why she should be not coming. (writting it, I realized that most of the pictures with Mr.Reed are actually Mr.Reed surprised by Animant or something she did :D).

And another fanart from Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) by Lin Rina. (and it seems it’s not the last one either :) ).  In the book this is such a nice and lovely and awww scene, unfortunately I wasn’t able to transfer it into the drawing. I almost gave up during the sketching when I realized it but then I took it as a practice of a not-so-usual-for-me poses and point of view etc. and finished it. Even with the background. Ha.  Anyway - again there’s too much related to this to explain it all, but at least simply said what’s going on - Mr. Reed came to breakfest in dining room in the staff building - unexpectably because he usually doesn’t go to breakfest there and moreover he came to sit with Animant (I said there’s too much related things around lol) so she’s all unsetteld and embarrassed, while Mr. Reed is surprised how much food he got for breakfest.  Drawn with Derwent Inktense and ref pics (one for each of them :) ) again by @jookpubstock

Fanart to Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) by Lin Rina again.  Mr. Reed was telling Animant what duties is she gonna have as an assistant and is surprised to find out Animant is taking notes.  I like how it turned out, at least the two of them, the background is rather wonky, on the other hand it is there so... win win I think :). (because rows of books again, yeah. Delight, haha). Drawn with (surprise surprise!) Thomas Reed from the book by Lin Rina - Animant Crumbs Staubchronik (that’s  original (german) title, in czech it’s Kroniky prachu, I’m not sure if it even has english edition, I tried for search for it and didn’t find it (just like I didn’t find bany fanart either)). Anyway - I totally LOVE the book, I don’t even remember when I last enjoyed reading so much (if ever). I haven’t finished yet, I was just few chapters from the end and slowed down, because I don’t want to end it yet! and then was busy with finishing the crochet gift. Anyway I guess you can expect more fanart. And I really like how this turned out and it has even bakcground again! Well, rather lame I admit, but I didn’t have nerves to make whole background of books (it’s in library) basically third time in row lol, so just went with the stairs (I had the first appearance of Thomas on my mind when drawing it) and it’s definitely better than just usual uncertain smudges in the background... wait, is this third time in row that I actually drew the background? No, I don't plan to stop drawing fanart to Lin Rina's wonderful book Animant Crumbs Staubchronik (Kroniky prachu) yet! :D This time it's a scene when Animant is caught in the act when secretly watching Mr.Reed in his office. I wanted so much to draw it but to be honest, I had no idea how to do it the way it could work and I surprised myself with how well it turned out! Elisa Hemmilton from Animant Crumbs Staubchronik (Kroniky Prachu) by Lin Rina. Well, it's not a particular scene (even though I like her I couldn't think of any scene with her that I would long to draw, except for one, but I would probably need to find some ref picture), so it kind of could have been anyone, but I tried :). Also because I didn't have any particular scene in mind, I had no idea what to do with the background and ended up with this attempt at some hints of a city. I guess it looks silly but better than just uncertain smudges (I think). Anyway, I rather like how it turned out :). Drawn with Derwent Inktense, ref picture by Faestock.
