The Thrawn Ascendancy covers are some of the prettiest I've come across! My other favs are King of Scars and Wintersong. So i've finished Lesser Evil, the 3rd in this trilogy, and will have a review up soon. Overall this trilogy is ok, Greater Good (#2) being the strongest. There's a LOT of political and military world building, which gets tiresome if you're not into it, plus you need time to absorb the info, so try to borrow it from a friend, co-worker, relative, etc. I'm going to take a break, read something light, and then jump into the Thrawn Legends trilogy. Who are your favorite villain(s)? I'm doing something new today 😂 I'm watching Star Wars Rebels and can't help feeling excited to see Agent Kallus whenever he pops up to annoy the rebels. It's no that I root for him but I appreciate well-written villains. I've finally gotten through this one! It's better than Chaos Rising but IDK how to explain it 🤔 I did learn more about this new threat to the Chiss but there's SO much political intrigue and espionage going on to make this review spoiler-free 😭 I'll rate this ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 . . .
