We are so excited to announce that Craig Miller, the original Director of Fan Relations at Lucasfilm, is joining us for LegendsCon! In his role at LFL, he created and ran the Official Star Wars Fan Club, and wrote almost all of the articles for the first two years of Bantha Tracks. He also started the process of archiving Star Wars fanzines, many of which now reside in the University of Iowa Fanzine Archives as part of the Organization for Transformative Works' Fan Culture Preservation Project.

Craig will be joining us to share his stories from the early days of the franchise and fandom. His book, Star Wars Memories, will also be available for sale.

LegendsCon is a fan-run convention celebrating the original Expanded Universe books, comics, games, and other media that are now known as Legends. Our growing guest list includes Randy Stradley, Matthew Stover, Corinna Bechko, Sean Stewart, Barbara Hambly, Abel Peña and Craig Miller. I’ve been having some trouble getting into reading anything the last couple of weeks. I set aside the book I was struggling with and picked up a quicker read, just so I could feel like I finished something. This is a middle grade book based on a video game that I’ll probably never play. But it’s a Star Wars book, and it features a bounty hunter that’s actually two Jawas in a trench coat, one standing on top of the other, so I was always gonna read it at some point. It was quick and it was fun, and now I want a sequel. Jedi Brave in Every Way is an utterly adorable story with gorgeous art and a wonderful lesson in well... bravery!!

Set on a distant planet, Obi-Wan encounters a new group of people and must resolve his insecurities while engaging with something that resembles the Force. However, he soon learns that appearances can be deceiving and that helping others often starts with helping yourself (and vice versa). This YA is paced extremely well, attention to detail, and consistency with SW lore and universe is evident.
