I am not a hardcore SW fan BUT I do love the characters. May I request reader being in the jedi training with Kylo (Ben since he wasn't indoctrinated into the First Order yet) and they like to flirt with him during lessons? Maybe like when they are sparing or when he is trying to use the force? I know that Jedi swore celibacy but I am a firm believer of the grey lol and the new gen are more open to relationships. Reader can be gn. If this is too boring just let me know and I can try to cook up something else.

You sat outside with your food in your hand, legs crisscrossed as you looked out on the mountain range in front of you that the planet you were on provided you. It was peaceful on this day, the suns casting a golden hue across the base where you and the other Jedi were training. No one was outside, all in for the night and ready to rest meanwhile you decided to have a late night snack and think to yourself. Being a Jedi was no easy task. In fact, it required the most training you’ve ever experienced. You had to stay focused, zone in and never break that focus once you had it. If you did, it could mean life or death. Not only that, but you had to set aside your personal wants and needs. If someone caught your eye, you had to keep moving. Don’t think about it or threaten breaking the Jedi code…

“Hello..” A deep voice called out to you from behind you. It was breathy and low, spiking your attention. Swallowing the bite you just had in your mouth, you turned around to face who was standing there, knowing exactly who it was. You could recognize that voice anywhere.

“Hello, Ben.” You answered, moving to the side and patting the ground next to you, signaling for him to sit with you and enjoy the remaining sunlight. “What brings you here? You’re usually first to bed.” You asked, looking back out at the suns as the light slowly faded below the horizon.

“Mmmm.. Couldn’t get comfortable.” He answered, letting out a deep, tension relieving sigh. You nodded your head, setting your bowl of soup to the side before putting both hands in your lap. You snuck a small peak at the man beside you and felt something in your heart flutter. The suns light illuminated his skin perfectly, highlighting his beautiful features in a way that drove your heart and soul mad. He stared out to the horizon, eyes following the curve of the mountains before it went dark, the suns light completely disappearing for the night. He truly was a sight to behold.

“And you?” He asked, looking back at you and catching the look you were giving him. You cleared your throat before looking down at your bowl and picking it up, holding it out in front of you.

“Got hungry again, Gotta eat..” You softly smiled at him for a moment before standing up and brushing your lap off. “We better get back to our rooms. It’s going to get cold soon.” You said to him, holding out a hand. Kylo didn’t hesitate to take it, pulling himself up off the ground and brushing himself off as well. The man nodded as he took one last look off into the distance before looking down at you.

“Yeah.. I will see you in the morning for training.. Sparring partner?” He asked, searching your eyes for an answer before you said anything. With a smile, you nodded your head at him.

“Of course.” You replied, the feeling of his warm hand never leaving yours even after he had let go.

So, you both parted ways, your rooms being on opposite sides. Once you had gotten to your room, you put the bowl to the side and sat down on your bed, pulling the covers out from under your legs and getting underneath, settling in for the night before falling asleep.

“Good morning..” He quietly called out to you, breaking your focus on the sky above you.

The suns rose above the opposing horizon of the planet and you woke up just in time to see it. Setting a blanket outside on the rough, rocky ground outside of your room, you watched as the sky shifted between different beautiful colors and it calmed you. You were safe. No one was after you. You could be you here. Lost in thought, you didn’t seem to notice a particular Ben Solo emerge from his room across from yours. You and him seemed to be the only ones awake at this time.

“You scared me.” You chuckled at him as he walked over and took a seat right next to you, waving his hand at you for you to scoot over and make some room for him which you happily did.

“Why are you up so early?” You asked, looking over at him and his perfectly curly hair.. Was it ever flawed? Probably not.

“I always get up around this time. It’s you that's usually still sleeping.” Ben said with a small smile playing on his lips. You nodded your head, agreeing with the man. He definitely was right… You were never up this early and you didn’t exactly understand why you were up so early yourself. Nevertheless, you pointed at the colorful sky before bringing your hand back down to cup into the other at your lap.

“So, you wake up every morning and see this and never thought to wake me up? This is beautiful.” You joked with the man who shook his head at you before shrugging his shoulders.

“Oh, maybe it’s because, the last time I tried, you threw a cup at me and told me to let you sleep.” An embarrassed blush quickly found its way to your cheeks and the tip of your ears.

Kylo stood in front of you with his light-saber raised in front of him, ready for any strike you sent his way. He could tell where you were going to go just from where your eye would quickly glance before you struck. You spun on your feet and aimed for the man's upper thigh, Kylo blocking it right away before countering with a stronger strike, sending a blow to the side of your head which you caught in record time. The light-sabers, green and blue, clashed in a spark and you sent the man a wicked smile.

“Oh yeah.. “ Was all you could get out, shaking your own head in disappointment at your own actions. “If only I knew.” You sighed, looking over at Ben who you had caught staring at you. Once you both made eye contact, the man quickly looked away to look back to the sky which was now a bright pink.

“S’at all you got, Solo?” You teased him, watching as his eyes narrowed, his competitive side getting the better of him. His nostrils flared in frustration and you ran at him, going to sweep low and take his feet out but he saw right through you, jumping away from the attack till you got back to your feet and launching himself right at you. In that moment, you both fought swiftly. So swift, that it looked like nothing but a blur of blue and green as you both moved effortlessly. It was like an intricate dance that you two had memorized…

“Who knew. Here I thought you were just all beauty and no brains, but you actually seem to have some skill hidden somewhere in there.” He teased you right back, the two of you pushed up against one another as the sparks from your light-sabers flew through the air in front of you.

“So, you think I'm beautiful?” You said, trying to play off of what he had just said.

Kylo stuck out his hand and pushed you back using the force before sending a barrage of attacks your way which, in the end, you were too slow to counter. Before you knew it, he had you on your ass, Light-saber pointed at your throat. The tall man smiled down at the sight before him before offering a hand out to you, which you gladly took. Kylo pulled you up to your feet, his smile never leaving his face.

“Of course I do..”

To you, accepting a role in Star Wars was the best decision you had ever made. You had never been happier, even if it was a smaller part. But what mattered was the outcome.

Now, you’re waking up in a shared bed in a modest London flat beside the most beautiful woman you had ever laid eyes on. Very few people had known–only close friends and family. There was suspicion from fans, tweets surfacing and gaining traction almost instantly with people agreeing that something seemed up.

There was even a Youtube video titled, ‘Every time Gwen and Y/N have flirted with each other but they’re “just friends.”’

“Morning,” you mumbled as you met the sleepy eyes of Gwen.

She pecked you on the lips before pulling you into a warm embrace. “Graham said we have to arrive about an hour before the show starts.”

There was something you loved so much about her raspy morning voice. “Do you think they’re interviewing only the two of us to capitalize off the rumors of our relationship?”

“Erm…” Gwen sighed heavily. “I never thought of it that way.”

“I mean, they’re certainly gonna get some views. We’ve been the hot topic on Twitter for a while,” you said.

“Let’s make a bet.”

You sat up, leaning on your elbow as you peered down at Gwen. “On what?”

“I bet you…ten pounds, that Graham will ask us about our relationship less than ten minutes in,” Gwen snickered.

You smiled back, amused. “Alright, fine. More than ten minutes in.”

The pair of you sat in front of an audience of at least a hundred people. The bet you had made with Gwen was still lingering in your mind as you sat side by side, listening to Graham’s commentary on Star Wars and answering questions about the other roles you’re playing currently.

Game of Thrones was mentioned multiple times with Gwen and the tv show you starred in was mentioned too. 

“So,” Graham began, adjusting his position in his chair, “there have been some rumors.”

You and Gwen eyed each other.

“Twitter has been abuzz about you two,” he continued. “Some fans have been watching you two in interviews, red carpet events, and such. They’ve–and everyone else for that matter–have agreed that you’re both close.”

How the hell would you get yourself out of this? Well, the same way you did when other people asked.

“Well, I grew up without many friends,” you explained. “Throughout my life I’ve never had a close friend. And, Gwen is the only person I’ve become close to. I consider myself very lucky to have a…best friend like her.”

Best friend. Bullshit.

“How long do we plan on keeping this a secret?” you asked on the drive home.

Gwen, in the driver seat, sighed. “I don’t know, darling…I’m…I’m ready, though, if you are.”

“I don’t know,” you huffed. “Every worst possible outcome is all I can think of. Losing roles, friends, the media backlash…”

“Sweetheart, it’s the media that’s stirring this up. Both of our parents know and our closest friends do too.” Gwen stayed focused on the road as her hand came to squeeze your knee. “I don’t think we’d lose any roles over this either. There are laws put in place for things like these.”

At your flat, you stood in the kitchen preparing dinner for the two of you. As you sauteed broccoli, Gwen was in the living room, typing away on her computer. You heard her speaking every now and then and assumed she was simply taking a phone call by the sound of her talking about scripts and shows and movies she’s been in. 

When dinner was ready, you plated the food, setting it on the kitchen table before going to find Gwen. She sat facing away from you as you tiptoed over, encasing her in a surprise hug. She flinched before growing stiff as you placed soft, chaste kisses over her neck.

“I’m so proud of you,” you smiled. “You did so well today, but you owe me ten pounds. Graham mentioned our relationship eleven minutes in, so I won.” She said nothing and you looked at her, confused. “What?”

Gwen peered up at you with an awkward grin and her eyes darted from you to the phone that leaned against the bright computer screen. “I’m on Live…”

Your stomach dropped and all the color drained from your face. “You–what?”

“I’m talking to a few hundred thousand people right now, sweetheart,” Gwen chuckled.

Your words were stuck in your throat and you managed to squeak them out, waving briefly at the phone where comments of ‘OMG’ and ‘NOW WAY’ were flooding the screen. “Erm…right…well…dinner is ready and on the table.”

You turned and rushed out of the room, embarrassment pooling in your cheeks and humiliation creeping up your throat. As she watched you leave, Gwen faced the phone, the brightest smile on her face since she first kissed you a year before.

Thoughts on Ahsoka Episode 5 - Shadow Warrior - A Discussion Post

Episode 5 of Ahsoka was truly an emotional rollercoaster. There were so many surprises and details that everyone just could not miss. Filoni truly fed us with content, and we love getting to see some touching moments. Buckle up and let's talk about it!

Let's start with the one and only Anakin Skywalker. With Hayden Christensen reprising his role, he comes to Ahsoka in the version she grew up seeing: her master. Anakin states that he wants to complete Ahsoka's training, and they engage in a lightsaber duel that gets intense with every step.

Whenever he said "Live... or die", my mind had flashbacks to when he had said in Rebels, "Then you will die." My head just kept going to it and I had chills.

Ahsoka falls from the World Between Worlds into a flashback of the Clone Wars, reliving the battle. Ariana Greenblatt, who played young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War, the little sister in Stuck in the Middle, and was recently in the Barbie movie, plays young Ahsoka, which I find amazing. She really captured how young Ahsoka was during the war and her emotions towards everything around her.

Seeing the Clone Wars scenes made me feel like I was the young high school girl during the pandemic again who had just recently discovered Star Wars and had quickly watched all of Clone Wars to catch up to Season 7 and see every masterpiece of the show. This was such an exciting moment for all of us fans. Hayden nails the Clone Wars Anakin with his outfit and his movements.

Ahsoka sits beside an injured clone, putting her hand on his. The clone gently holds her hand, right before he falls to his death. Ahsoka's emotions take over her as she begins to cry, grieving. These scenes truly show how young she was; she was just a child forced into a war that has to be fought. Greenblatt's portrayal of Ahsoka nails the spot on these details.

We also got to see the Siege of Mandalore in live action, which has become one of the best Clone Wars arcs. Anakin steps into the scene, getting to see the Siege of Mandalore for the first time with his own eyes. I will never get over the way that the two are standing together, it's literally the same shot from Season 7 of Clone Wars.

One of the most brilliant surprises in the episode was getting to see Captain Rex. LIKE LOOK AT HIM!! The king only had a few lines and a few shots, but he slayed as usual. We could hear Temuera Morrison's voice under the helmet, which got my excitement up. I'm so glad he voiced Rex and we got to see him in live action. (Now where is Rex during the present in Ahsoka???)

Back to the present above the water. Hera had found Huyang, who stands near the cliff, holding Sabine's Mandalorian helmet. He wished that they stayed together, and is sad now that they are apart and who knows where.

Jacen was truly adorable this episode. He hung out with Chopper and Hera the whole episode, and when he was playing with Chopper, the sight was so cute. Jacen listens to the waves, eventually hearing the lightsabers clash between Ahsoka and Anakin. The Force truly thrives through this kid, and Kanan would be so proud. Also, the fact that Kanan was mentioned this episode shattered my heart. Huyang is forced to take Jacen aboard the ship for "a tour", the kid's interests peaked about the Jedi. He asks Huyang if he can be trained, which he straightforward says "No", which I found funny.

Returning to the flashbacks, Ahsoka kept on seeing Anakin turn into Vader between quick shots that flashed with each burst of light. The sight that scares us all. When Anakin turned into Vader during the Siege of Mandalore scene, the way his voice changed sent chills down my spine. If I looked at an image from that part, I could hear his voice.

As Ahsoka fights the Vader side of Anakin who eventually appeared back in the World Between Worlds, she manages to get ahold of his lightsaber. The red blade glows under her face, and her eyes slowly turned into those red-yellow Sith eyes, just like Anakin's. Anakin sees his padawan as a Sith briefly right before the blade extinguishes. Everything eventually turns back to the calm normal. Ahsoka bids farewell to her master before falling back into the water.

After Hera and the crew rescued Ahsoka from the water, we got a hug between Jacen and Ahsoka, which was adorable. Ahsoka has now begun wearing white, which I feel like is definitely symbolic of something. The white outfit reminds me of the one she wore in the Rebels finale, even if it's not exactly it.

With the New Republic after their tails, Hera talks to Mon Mothma about the situation, who unfortunately can't do anything about it. Senator Organa was also mentioned, which means our girl Leia was trying her best to hold on for Hera. Hera, the rebel she is, goes with her own plans anyway.

The purgills were the ones who took Ezra and Thrawn away into a whole other galaxy, so how do we try to find them? Follow the purgills! Ahsoka (with Huyang) follows the purgills (and actually goes inside one... yeah she's Anakin's padawan with that plan). Both are ready to go with the purgills to find Sabine, and hopefully find Ezra.

Jacen watches the purgills while sitting in the Ghost, talking to his mom about the stories regarding the purgills that took away Ezra and the "bad guys". I'm so glad Jacen knows about Ezra, even if it has to be through stories. The day the two meet will be such a joyous occassion. Even though Hera won't go with, she hopes that they return safely with Sabine and (praying) Ezra.

There's only three episodes left now, and I just know even more chaos is about to ensue. Ezra and Thrawn should definitely be making appearances very soon, which is going to be so fun. There was more focus on Ahsoka this episode rather than Sabine, and I loved the directions it went in. Filoni really gave us fans all the emotions and incredible shots, and he is still responsible for my therapy. I feel like next episode will definitely be much more of a rollercoaster, and here's to manifesting again that Ezra (and Thrawn) will show up soon.

So that's why he recognized the ol wind mage. He saw his divine face before. Vaati's been shown to having shapeshifting magic so I found it fitting he could just...Look like his old disguise.

With the context for this line given: Makes you wonder what else Shadow knows lol.

Vaati being a mentor figure is smth I've always kinda seen him as. I noticed after skimming Vaati's scenes in minishcap Still haven't fully READ it but holy shit there's so many interesting things that link back to FSA....Like uh...How Minish cap Link MAKES THE FOUR SWORD.

I noticed they basically share all their abilities. So I head cannoned Vaati taught him things.

I like Vaati as a pathetic simp who is also a terrible abusive father. COPE. HE'S MY VAATI I DO WHAT I WANT WITH HIM.

Since I've spoiled Hero's shade showing up at some point Woops if you haven't seen any of his art lmfao this also mirrors how he teaches Twilight Princess Link things.

Baby wanted to impress his new dad but new dad is a fan of tough parenting. Vaati sets his expectations high from the get go.

Again: Shadow recognized this attack because Vaati freakin' taught him it. X'D

Smth you might notice if you've read the manga a million times:

He blows the four heroes away EASILY but can't get Vaati to budge.

Vaati is powerful lmao not Shadow being weak. XD

Vaati also links his disappointment to physical pain.

Vaati just showing off his power while also making thin threats. A blatant display of who's more powerful, he reenforces Shadow's fear of the light.

Haha. The wording here might ring a bell if you know specific lines from the manga.

Who the hell made Shadow feel worthless before?

Vaati. The answer is Vaati lmfao. Ganon probs too but he's being ignored rn cause I'm unsure if I even wanna touch him tbh.

Vaati's advice comes in handy here actually in more ways than one:

Shadow could shift into one of the heroes, and cause problem.

Shift into Link and cause issues for them.

Also Vaati mentions nobody trusting Shadow how he is.

Ties back into how he shifts into Vio later in the actual manga hah.

Again Vaati veils his and Ganon's disappointment as something to fear, but gives Shadow a small reward of physical affection.

Shadow Link imo obviously craves physical affection so Vaati giving it here is just to keep him on the line of behaving how they want him too.

Shadow can't tell he's being yanked along oof.

Vaati makes his relationship with Shadow clear: Keep in my good graces, I will reward you. Make me angry or disapointed and I will hurt you.

Shadow likes to think he has SOME amount of superiority over Vaati, that they're at least equals but Vaati ain't interested in that.

Hahahha. So much for that plan buddy.

Shadow's eyes were red the entire scene because he's a demon.

Star Wars Celebration London - The good, the Great, and the Accidental Spoilers

Star Wars celebration has arrived! Cosplayers, nerds, actors, writers, artists, directors and anyone in between gathered in London to celebrate everything star wars. The event was even live streamed--allowing people who were unable to afford tickets to cheer for new projects alongside a live audience. While I personally was unable to watch every single panel that was live-streamed (as there were 20 hours of provided footage in total) I stayed for the important ones. 

There were a few key announcements made at the celebration. Dave Filloni, a cowboy-hat-wearing superfan turned incredible artist and director, responsible for critically acclaimed works like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and The Mandalorian, along with his upcoming series Ahsoka, was announced to be directing a currently unnamed star wars movie. 

The only information given was that such a movie would be the culmination of all of the Star Wars Disney Plus shows, concluding the storylines that began in Ahsoka and The Mandalorian. As a fan of Mr. Filoni’s earlier projects, this is immensely exciting. While his storylines are not beloved by everyone, they are almost always cohesive and carefully thought out. He puts an immense amount of effort into his work, and it's incredible that he has been given the opportunity to spearhead a movie in the future. 

Two other movies were announced, one featuring Daisy Ridley returning to her role as Rey, as she rebuilds the Jedi Order and another that takes place thousands of years in the past, documenting the beginning of the Jedi themselves. 

The celebration was going smoothly: the trailer for Ahsoka was put online as a panel featuring the shows actors, new trailers and art for Jedi: Survivor was released in anticipation of the game coming out, and with more announcements to come in the next few days, nothing could go wrong!

Things did, in fact, go wrong. 

In an attempt to provide a true reason to attend the celebration (outside of the experience itself), Lucasfilm decided to air several celebration-exclusive trailers. Footage that only those who attended the event would have a chance to see. Despite repeatedly telling audiences not to take photos, the entire (and I mean the ENTIRE) exclusive trailer for Ahsoka was released online. Yes, it was shaky camera footage, but the internet did what the internet does best, and started relentlessly making fun of how some of the characters looked. More specifically, comparing the grainy, reflective footage of the series' main villain, Thrawn, to billionaire Elon Musk.

While I did not work behind the scenes of Star Wars Celebration, I can imagine the frustration and anger of all of the hardworking creators who wanted to give those attending the celebration something to be excited about. On the next day of the celebration, an interview with one of the other actors in Ahsoka was interrupted by the appearance of Lars Mikkelsen, the voice actor of Thrawn in various animated projects, to announce that he was playing the villain in the Ahsoka series. 

A reveal that was undoubtedly planned to stay under wraps for at least a few weeks, was squandered. Even more frustrating, trailers for two other announced shows were also leaked online. 

All “Celebration Exclusive” footage did not stay exclusive. These leaked trailers and photos were exciting to fans everywhere--I can understand why someone would choose to post videos and photos of them online, especially as someone unable to attend the event, yet I also feel like there is something meaningful about seeing these announcements together with a huge group of other nerds, and knowing that you are paying for an exclusive experience.

Having now watched Solo, I can't help but feel this incredibly remarkable sense of...

Eh.

I know that as a franchise, StarWars really feels like mystery is one of those forbidden words, a thing you simply should never have for a character. Their entire history must be made known in some way or another, so help me Rex. That's cool, that's okay. You are free to seek out or ignore these expanded universe ideas if you so desire.

I don't exactly like when prequels or sequels feel like they exist solely to explain away details from other entries that don't really need explaining. It feels too fanservice-y.

I want to know specifically who it was that felt like what they were truly missing out of their StarWars experience was the origin of the last name "Solo". It really must be that this character's last name couldn't just be their last name, no, it needed a specific on-screen origin. This one detail feels unnecessary, like in Rogue One when the "Rogue" call-sign is introduced for the first time.

Yay, Darth Maul is back!

For all of two minutes, and with no significance to the on-screen plot. There's nothing about his use here, on-screen, that is improved by this character specifically being Maul.

Granted, Maul might have been the guest star in a rather confusing dream I once had involving Pinhead, so his appearance is very welcome to my eyes, but that's not entirely relevant.

Qi'ra is interesting as a character, but, being a prequel, you know damn well that she will either die or betray Han (otherwise, how does he hook up with Leia and all the irreparable annoyance that is Kylo Ren?).

Donald Glover as a young Lando Calrissian was fun. He does an incredible job nailing the voice. Honestly, I love seeing him in things (like The Martian; one scene basically and he's just delightful), and he at least gets a chance to show a bit of range.

Not a fan of the weird Droid liberation sub-plot, especially since it ties into the incredibly weird L3/Lando thing that I would very much like if I never thought about again.

And now, I am finally done with this series. This one felt more unnecessary than anything else and gets the highly prestigious "Not as Bad as The Rise of Skywalker" Award. It does not however earn the "As Good as Rogue One or the Blade Runner Parts of Attack of the Clones" Award, but it's extremely tolerable to me.

Seriously, I demand a film dedicated to my Shistavanen child.

much of this world fights against biblical truth, but it is what is real and True.

and so, when you think of the stars and constellations above, think of our Creator’s truth rather than a path of fortune-telling, horoscopes, or astrology. you do not need the idolatry of tarot cards and the like, or in seeking out a medium to connect with those who have passed on. there are real forms of witchcraft linked to the demonic realm rather than the “heavenly” realm. yes, evil forces exist. the fallen prince, or ‘god’ of this world inspires deception with lies being part of his nature, making some lies even to appear to people as a counterfeit form of light, making them believe it as innocent in nature. but these only lead to spiritual death.

and so we need to find True nature. and this means repentance (turning) back to Love and its Light. yes, nature on earth can inspire people with a sense of awe, of wonder. but please don’t worship nature. we tend to nature, protecting and conserving natural places, but we have to see the One who made it above all.
