Nah because we all know a 12 year old Merrin would be the cutest saddest child you ever saw.
In actuality I give the chance of seeing Merrin during a tales of the empire flashback at 20% I don’t think it’s impossible but I thinks it’s incredibly unlikely.
So......
Are they somehow going to address how MERRIN survived????
Why Merrin thought she was the only survivor?
Merrin saw Grevious in detail.... she was only a child, how did she survive?
I want to see Merrin's fully fleshed out backstory......... as a treat.

Can’t Lose You Too.
Cal Kestis x Reader | One-shot
Pairing: Cal Kestis x fem!reader
Word Count: 651
Summary: Cal and the Reader get into an argument over a mission gone wrong, soon the Reader realizes Cal’s right.
Warning: Angst, crying, swearing, mention of death.
Prompt: @witterprompts, these prompts belong to them!
“This would not have been a problem if you had just listened to me.”
“I can’t believe what I have to deal with and I didn’t even ask to be the leader.”
You were absolutely seething. You were on Kashyyyk, checking on a rebel outpost.
An encrypted message had been sent by Mari, explaining that they were under attack and needed your immediate help. Unfortunately, by the time you had gotten to the rebel camp it was as if it were completely wiped off the map. At this point, you were beginning to think that you were destined to fail at everything in life. Letting out a string of curses, you ran your hands through your hair and down your face. Trudging off to the Mantis Cal chased after you, desperately calling your name. He managed to catch up to you and pulled you by your arm so you were facing him. A concerned look fell upon his features.
“What, Cal? What do you want?” You spit at him, angry at your self that you let this happen. All the innocent partisans and Wookies would be alive if you ha-
“It’s not your fault, don’t blame yourself. There’s nothing we could’ve done back there. We got the message we came, we did everything we could. So do not blame yourself, the war isn’t over.” He sternly spoke, conviction and determination etched onto his features, green eyes burning holes into yours.
“Who are you kidding Kestis!? Cut the shit! This would not have been a problem if you had listened to me! I told you we should’ve picked up the pace. This is all my fault, if I would’ve been stronger, I would’ve gotten there faster and then maybe none of this would’ve happened!” You yell at him, snatching your arm out of him grasp. He pauses, staring at you hard as if thinking about what he should say next. His lips firmly pressed and eyebrows furrowed he shook his head and spoke again in a whisper. “I can’t believe what I have to deal with and I didn’t even ask to be the leader.” As soon as the words left his mouth his eyes widened, BD-1 lowering his head behind Cal’s back.
“Excuse me? What the fuck do you mean by that? Do you think I asked to be where I am now, do you think I asked to be in an outpost littered with the bodies of my allies?” You spoke, venom dripping from your every word as you stalked towards him. Getting close and personal with the Jedi you looked straight into his eyes, daring him to utter another word.
“You know I didn’t mean it like that.” Averting his gaze to the ground he let his arms fall to his sides. You scoffed, not believing what was going on.
“Then how did you mean it, Cal?” Waiting for a piss poor excuse from him you tap your foot impatiently.
“Well?”
“You think this only affects you? You think those innocent people were only your allies? I fought alongside them too, and to lose them-” Cal’s voice cracked, tears welling in eyes. Grabbing you tightly by the shoulders he swallows hard and continues.
“And to lose them hurts me too, but they chose to fight! They knew the risks and they took them anyways because they’d rather die on the battlefield than be bystanders who watch as a regime actively fights for their suppression. That’s why it’s not your fault. Please. I don’t wanna do this anymore, I don’t wanna lose you too.” He hugs you tighter, pulling you in closer. This is the first time you had seen Cal so worked up about, anything really, but the red-head had a point. They chose to fight and you would go on to continue to fight for them. To honor them, it wasn’t anyone’s fault other than the Empire’s that this happened. Fighting would only make you two lose each other, and neither of you could afford that. So you and Cal just stood there, holding onto each other for dear life.

Masterlist
79. “I literally don’t think I could live without you.”
106. “Are you kidding me? You’re beautiful.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Nope. No. No way. Not in my life. Never.”
“Y/N, it’s just a dress.”
“You take that back Cere,” she gasped, “that thing is a monster. It’s huge, poofy, and it doesn’t have any pockets! It’s pink for crying out loud, it’s disgusting! Bleh!”
“Well I think it’s beautiful. Besides, we need you for this mission. Cal can’t show up at this gala alone.”
“Then Merrin should go. A Jedi Knight and a Nightsister are better than a Jedi Knight and an ex-Padawan.”
“Merrin would be easily set apart from the others. It’s rare to find a Nightsister off of their home planet. And Y/N, being an ex-Padawan doesn’t make any difference. You’re just as strong and brave as Cal is.”
“I beg to differ, but I’ll take the compliment.”
Cere was going to try and convince Y/N more when Cal and Greez entered the Mantis. But when the duo made eye contact with the dress, there was nothing but full blown laughter. Smart remarks and comments were shared between them, leaving Cere to stare at them unimpressed and Y/N to hate the dress even more. She snatched the dress out of Cere’s arms, grumbling about how stupid it was, and stomped back to her room.
“This day can’t get any worse, can it?” Cere said to herself.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a few hours, Y/N hiding in her room until Cere reminded her she needed to be ready for the gala. Cere had dropped off the extra accessories for Y//N’s outfit and helped with the process. She left Y/N looking beautiful, but Y/N thought otherwise.
Pink? Disgusting. Poofy? Uncomfortable. Satin gloves? Unnecessary.
Y/N walked, more like shuffled due to the heels, towards the mirror and found someone else looking at her. She wasn’t used to these big dresses or the fancy hairstyles or the makeup that made her look oh so elegant. She knew her Master went on missions like these alone because she was younger and new to the danger of the enemy. These missions were deemed too dangerous for her. It was for the best, as her Master came back with at least a few scratches. The Padawan was hardly introduced to the true danger of the Separatists due to her shyness and fear. Y/N didn’t have the chance to grow out of it due to Order 66 being executed. Her fears worsened and darkness clouded around her when her Master was killed. But that’s a story for another time...
The sound of knocking on her door drew Y/N out of her trance. She looked up right as the door hissed and opened. Cal walked in fiddling with his tie, looking for a problem that didn’t exist.
“Hey Y/N, Cere wanted me to tell you we’re 10 minutes away. And I figured you could help me with uhh...”
He looked up at Y/N and froze. He was speechless. She looked...perfect. Even though she didn’t like it, pink seemed to be her colour. She...
“...al? Cal? Is there something you needed?”
“Huh? Oh, uh yeah! There’s something wrong with my tie, it won’t tie right.”
“Really? Something’s wrong with the tie?” She smirked slowly walking towards him, “ I just think you don’t know how to tie a tie.”
She took over for Cal, leaving them in silence. He gazed down at her, the love clear in his eyes.
“Are you okay? You keep staring at me?”
“What? No, no! It’s just um-”
“It’s the dress isn’t it? I knew it looked ridiculous. It’s huge, like, who needs this big of a dress?! And the heels, oh my god, why do people need their feet at an angle! It doesn’t make any sense! Especially the-”
“Are you kidding me? You’re beautiful.”
He interrupted her rant, causing her to go silent with mouth wide open.
“I know that you think it’s a horrible colour and I know you think that the fanciness of it all is annoying, but I think you look perfect. You always have been. Even when your hair is wild and dirt smudged all over your face. You’re perfect Y/N.”
She smiled, leaning up to give him a kiss.
“Oh how I hate that you always have something to say. I love you too Kestis.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“We’re looking for who again?”
“A Twi’lek and a Force user, information says they may know about the project the Empire is working on. We find them and somehow make them tell us everything.”
“And what’s your plan for somehow making them tell us everything Kestis. Not a very solid plan.”
“Well, I was thinking-”
“That’s never good.”
“As I was saying, Y/N. We could walk in together and then split ways after a few minutes. I’ll find the Twi’lek and you find the Force user.”
“Woah woah woah, we’re splitting up? And I thought you loved me. This Force user better be a girl Kestis. A female, a woman or I am going to beat your ass.”
“Okay okay, no need to get violent.”
The gala was extravagant, the definitions of elegance, grace, and beauty walking in with their dates. The smell of alcohol and laughter echoed in the castle.
“Look, Twi’lek at the bar. Go woo her Kestis, leave me behind to suffer alone.”
Cal chuckled and left her with a kiss. But she wasn’t left alone for long. A boy her age, maybe a year older approached from behind.
“You look a little lost darling.”
Y/N turned swiftly letting out a sharp gasp, “Oh! You scared me.”
“No worries. But it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance, I am Nolan. Who might you be?”
“Ami-Dala, but most call me Ami.” Really Y/N? He’s going to notice.
“Beautiful name for a beautiful person. Where are you from darling?”
This is your chance Y/N, see if he knows the Twi’lek.
“I was born on Ryloth. My parents loved the people. When the time came, they started to convince the people the Republic were made of horrible people.”
“Ryloth? A great friend I know is from Ryloth. We are part of a big project for the Empire. We hope to wipe out those who still believe in the Republic. Those Rebels won’t stand a chance.”
“Wonderful! When the Rebels are destroyed, the Empire can finally have the power it deserves.”
“I knew I liked you Ami-Dala Why don’t we get a drink?”
“Umm, I don’t think-”
“Come on darling, it’s a party!”
The world started to get fuzzy after a few drinks. Stars seemed to float in her vision. Arms and legs felt numb. A voice startled Y/N from her day dream.
“Are you alright darling?”
“Yeah, just fine,” Y/N slurred.
“You don’t look so good Ami, why don’t we find somewhere quiet?”
Y/N could only nod. She couldn’t think straight.
“You know, Ami, it was great meeting you. But I think it would’ve been better if you weren’t a Jedi sympathizer, Y/N.”
Uh oh
Y/N tried to stop walking, but it only turned to her being dragged.
“Oh don’t stop the act now Y/N, you were doing so well! You even had Xi’ra fooled with your buddy Cal Kestis. But now that we have two Force users, our project can continue. Thank you Y/N, truly.”
“I would say otherwise.”
Cal, in all his glory, crashed Nolan’s celebration with lightsaber ignited.
“Well well, the Jedi does what he’s good at, ruining the fun.”
“Oh, so this is where the fun begins?”
Y/N was thrown behind Nolan, fighting the sleep that was beckoning her. But she wasn’t going down just yet.
Red and orange blades clashed together. The light against the dark. It was only a matter of time before one lost their epic battle.
“Why can’t you see that the Empire is doing the right thing?”
“I am not blinded by hatred like you are and I never will be.”
“But you will be. You haven’t even noticed your little girlfriend suffering from the poison I’ve slipped her.”
The cocky attitude was replaced with fear and concern for Y/N’s life. Anger was brewing.
“Now you feel it, the power. Just imagine what you could do if you join us, if you join me.”
“Then keep dreaming you bantha fodder.” Y/N shot her blaster, hitting Nolan in the chest before promptly passing out.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“She’ll be fine Cal. Now stop your worrying and make sure she gets something to eat after she wakes.”
Cere left the room, leaving Cal to worry even more.
“What am I going to do with you Y/N?”
“I can think of a few things. Wink wink.”
“Jesus Y/N! You couldn’t wake up normally?”
“I could have, but that’s not very Y/N.” She opened her eyes and slowly sat up.
“Why did you do it?”
“Scare you? Your screams just warm my soul.”
“No, why did you risk shooting him? He could have deflected it if he wasn’t so surprised that you were still alive. It was dangerous Y/N, you could have-”
“I could have, yet I didn’t. But at the end of the day I would have helped the Rebellion gain vital information.”
“How is it worth it when I lose you?”
“You have to understand-”
“No, you have to understand. Y/N, I literally don’t think I could live without you. Yes, you somehow find a way out, but what happens when you don’t?”
Silence. Tears had welled up in her eyes when she realized what she put Cal through. Those risky moments where she didn’t really know if she could make it back. The fear she felt underneath the adrenaline.
“I love you Y/N, but please be careful.”
“I love you too Kestis.”
They met in an embrace, holding each other as if it was the last time they would. They stood there in silence until Cal had a pressing question.
“Are you ever going to call me by my first name?”
“And why would I do that Cal Kestis?”
“Close enough.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------P.S. check out @moonlit-imagines 😉

I just finished Jedi Fallen Order and it is a ✨MASTERPIECE ✨ (SPOILERS!)
I loved everything about it, the planets, the music, BD-1, Cere, Trilla (I need more of her), making my own lightsaber. It was just perfect.
Saw Gerrera? I fucking jumped out of my couch. Merrin being a total badass, love her.
ORDER 66 I cried, baby Cal running away and watching his master dying really broke me.
And then when I thought "nothing can beat this" FUCKING DARTH VADER! As soon as I heard the breathing I was lost, this fucking game bring me back the will to live that I needed.
It took me a year but it was worth it.

Cal Kestis x Reader P.3
Cal Kestis x Reader |Original story rewrite
Word Count: 1575
A/N: Sorry this came out late lol I’ve been consumed by writing for twenty other projects
Life on the Mantis wasn't always the easiest, it was actually kind of boring. Nothing to do except talk to Greez when Cere was too busy on the comms. Sometimes you and the Latero would sit at the kitchen, telling stories over meals and having the time of your lives. At first Greez's stories were incredibly entertaining, but there's only so many stories one person could have. So now the days in which stories weren't being shared, consisted of you sleeping to pass the long stretches of time between hyperspace jumps. And today was no different.
You were currently sat at the couch again, your arms laid across the back of the seat and legs crossed. Mulling over what had happened a few hours prior you had completely spaced out again, unaware of your surroundings when suddenly your mind was invaded by thoughts of Cal. He reminded you of yourself, a child lost in the midst of a war. Whose livelihood and innocence was violently ripped away from them, who had to mature much faster than a child ever should. He also reminded you in that even though you were now an adult and a hardened criminal, that deep down you were just a child terrified out of your mind. Soon, anxieties started to flood your mind.
Could you really restore the order? Could Cal? What if the Empire beat you to it? Questions and doubts raced through your mind a mile a minute. Not liking where your mental state was headed you decided to annoy Greez. Still sitting down you yell out to the short creature.
"Greez! Greeeezz!!" A loud clang came from the back of the ship, from where the cabins were and soon out came your beloved pilot.
"What do ya want, kid? Can't you see I'm busy?" He states, his lower set of arms sat comfortably at his hips, the upper set gesturing at you. You grin at him, clearly amused attention fact that you're inconveniencing him.
"Actually no I couldn't, but what I can see, is that I'm bored. Come on sit next to me, what do you think of the newbie?" You scoot over, allowing Greez to sit next to you. As he sits, you can see him think hard on his answer.
"Well I don't really know, just met the kid. He seems ok, like a nice kid ya know?" He explains to you. He had a point, Cal had only been with you for a few hours and now he was in the spare bed dead asleep. Ruffling your hair you shift in your seat uncomfortably. Greez eyes you curiously.
"What's up Y/N? I haven't seen you this off put since, well, ever." Greez moves to look you in the eyes. You shake your head and let out an airy chuckle, you highly doubt Greez could ever understand. How do you confide in your friend that you see a reflection of yourself in Cal. That deep down you doubt Cere and her ambitions, that you doubt yourself and everything you believe in.
"It's nothing Greez, I'm fine. I guess I'm just stressed." You rub your face in irritation. Your eyes suddenly feeling heavy and your shoulders tense. Greez seemingly satisfied with your answer stands up.
"Yeah, alright Y/N. You know I'm always here for ya... I'mma go check on the kid, I think I hear him messin' around back there." He spoke softly. You gave a curt nod, bidding a 'see you later' to Greez. A few minutes later, Greez walked back into the cockpit, Cal close after him. The young red head stops at the small coffee table, eyeing Cere's guitar. Picking it up he sits in the seat adjacent to you, taking a moment before strumming its strings gently, yet expertly. You eye him curiously, how did anyone who grew up on a ship wrecking planet know how to play a guitar? Hearing the tune Cere came out.
"That song... I wrote it, years ago. You touch an object and witness events connected to it. You feel its history." Cere states, looking at Cal with wonder and awe. He shifts in his seat, setting the instrument down gently.
"It's an... echo in the Force from the object." Cal hesitantly starts out.
"Not many Jedi have that skill." Cere sits down close to Cal, feeling like a third wheel you decide to speak.
"Yeah Cal, psychometry is an extremely rare and powerful Force ability. I wish I had something that unique." You tell Cal, moving closer to the pair in front of you on the couch. They snap their heads to look at you, almost as if they had just realized that you were there the whole time.
"How would you guys know that?" The young boy asked wearily, not liking the fact that both you and Cere were poking around his Force connection.
"I was once a Jedi-"
"Padawan." You interjected Cere's sentence, raising a hand as to identify yourself.
"But not anymore." She finishes.
"Do I know you two?" Cal asks, hope laced in his words yet again, just like when he first came on board.
"No. But I knew your Master, Jaro Tapal. He was a true guardian of the Republic." You watched Cere intently, observing her as she reminisced over better times. You and Cere were very different people, you were brash and unapologetic she was patient and serene, yet you could relate to her more than you'd like to admit. You also missed your padawan days, when you were blissfully ignorant to the slowly crumbling world around you.
"He was a hero. Listen... something happened to me during the Purge. I survived, but... my connection the Force is damaged. When I meditate, if I let my guard down, I lose control. It's like I'm in that moment when-" Cal starts, looking back and forth between you and the women next to him, his lip quivering. Obviously uncomfortable with the idea of opening up about his past.
"You survived, Cal. And you're not alone. Not anymore." She looks him straight in the eye, millions of words and emotions being exchanged yet none actually being physically expressed. She looks at you, the look in her eyes softening. Cal's eyes following her line of sight. You offer him a soft, knowing smile in return. Letting him know that another person was on his side.
"We're comin' up on our destination." Greez's gruff voice coming on through the ship's intercom. You look up, in feign acknowledgment that the conversation had not only ended but in acknowledgment of the pilot's words. You all stand up, heading to the cockpit ready to make the final jump to Bogano.
Walking down the ramp with the other two 'Jedi', you take in the view of the beautifully serene planet. The warm and gentle rays dancing on your skin. The Mantis was great for your needs, but being on actual soil for once was nice, even if it was all muddy.
"This is Bogano. A Jedi I knew discovered it before the Purge. You won't find it on any maps." Cere speaks with diligence and preciseness, you always did admire that about her.
"The Empire doesn't know this place exists?" Cal exclaims in disbelief. You couldn't blame him, after all the Empire always did find a way to infect and get their hands on everything.
"No." Cere confirms.
"So? What's the plan? We... hide out here?" He questions, not knowing the full reason as to why you were all here in the first place. Cere turns to look at you, you snap out of your daze, again.
"Oh, sorry..." You mumble, getting the hint you walk up to the pair. "We're done hiding, Cal. Look, you see that structure over there? Well, we believe that Vault holds the key to rebuilding the Jedi Order. But, uh, we kinda need someone whose strong in the Force." You explain to the boy in front of you, your hands poised at your hips.
"And since you're not Jedis anymore, that's why you need me." He spits, implication behind his every word. Cere decides to step in, she was always better with words.
"I know you don't trust us, and I think I speak for both Y/N and I when I say that I'm not really sure we trust you. But we have a common enemy, and a common cause. I'll share more of my plan after you reach the Vault. But, until then, there's someone here I think you should meet." She looks at you knowingly, turning to head back into the Mantis. Guiding you back in with a hand on your upper back.
"May the Force be with you." She comments, not looking back. You however, crane your neck back to meet Cal's eyes. Final farewells being exchanged. As soon as the doors close behind you and the former Jedi next to you, you turn to her.
"You think he's up for it?" You inquire, your anxieties manifesting again. Cere pauses for a brief moment, processing your question. She sighs before meeting your eyes.
"He's my- he's our last option, Y/N. I would've chosen you, but-" She leaves the meaning of her words up for interpretation as she walks away. You knew what she meant, a pang of guilt lashing harshly at your heart.
You could only put your hopes onto Cal now, the fates of every innocent being depending on him.

Just some of my thoughts.
Early concept art of Jedi Fallen Order by Gus Mendoca, gives some heavy Ghost Of Tsushima vibes, much more open world style of game where you can go wherever you want, explore ancient ruins, tombs and so on.
It's something that second game, if we ever get it, could do, be more wider, and bigger.
