Heyyy guys, so after about a year? Year and a half? of just ducking around - I finally finished Tears of the Kingdom. It was beautiful, I cried.

BUT I just NEEDED to share this frickin HILARIOUSLY PERFECT moment that happened during the Demon King Ganondorf fight where Mineru just went in and bitch slapped Ganon as he was approaching me. I had to stop and record it and then laughed for a good 5 minutes

AND THEN I REWATCHED AND REALIZED MINERU EVEN SAID HER VOICE LINE BEFORE IT HAPPENED I CAN'T BREA TH E

no wait listen we're gonna talk about how sky and wild are parallel characters with parallel adventures. listen! who had to explore a ruined, unfamiliar world in search of something specific after a devastating catastrophe? who's zeldas are the closest to the goddess? who are the ones closest to the master sword? who are the ones who had to fight a demon king who'd ascended with god-like power? who are the ones who's zeldas traversed through time and left them chasing after her? who are the ones that were too late? who are the ones rebuilding civilization? who are the ones paralled again and again by falling and reaching but never making it? why do you think skyward sword's ruins are so prevalent in botw?

it's the cycle. it's always the cycle. sky is the beginning and wild is the end and sometimes the beginning and the end are the same thing. hyrule fell before sky and rose again with him. hyrule fell before wild and rose again with him. they are the opposite and the same, so close to each other yet never touching. they are so, so much more similar than they will ever know.

Linktober day twelve- favourite game

Skyward sword! My favourite game forever :)) The duets with Fi are by far my favourite gameplay aspect and recurring scenes in the game.

The music is The Ballad of the Goddess with Link's harp accompaniment. I played through on three different instruments like fifteen times, and checked every note on ocarina before I carved it. So. It's very accurate. Close ups of the music +my reference because yes

I finished Skyward Sword and I LOVE IT! VERY MUCH!

The credits were beautiful, and the after-credits scene! 🥺 Oh my heart. I really love the Triforce wish scene. I hadn't realized that all this time, the goal was to avoid fighting. Going so far to find the full Triforce and wish for no war...

Zelda, Impa, Link, and Fi were all going out of their way fighting so that everyone else would not have to face the consequences of war, and that the innocents avoid suffering. It's so noble. Really makes me appreciate the whole story line of Skyward Sword.

The softness of the artstyle also reinforces this message. And how Link easily slips into a dream-like state, like when he listens to music. He wants to live in a happy, dreamy world. Another detail, is how mindful Link is of everything going on around him, even if he looks like his head is in the clouds xP (for example, at the start of every dungeon, we see a cutscene of him taking a moment to reflect before entering. He either stops to look at the darkness ahead or closes his eyes for a minute before starting the dungeon. I looovvee those cutscenes) I just love everything about it. This game makes me so happy!

 Aaaaand that's one more Zelda game completed!

I feel like nobody talks about the fact that Skyward Sword Link can sing, and I have evidence to back it up. IT'S NOT JUST A HEAD CANON!!!!

I was curious about what Link would sound like talking, so of course, I went digging for voice actors. Since sksw is my favorite Zelda game, I searched up that Link's actor first, Takashi Ōhara, or Ôhara or Oohara it's like different everywhere for no reason but it's the same guy. And, when I did, I found this video riggghhhttt here:

Admittedly, I geeked out a bit... but like C'MON THAT'S FREAKING COOL, RIGHT??? Bro has an AMAZING voice, and he's done like... like a lot of roles... Anyway, this is just a really cool fact, if you already knew, that's awesome and if you didn't, you learn something new every day and that's also very awesome. Fanfic writers, go crazy go wild please send me them pleslelskpelslssss plesssss

so, its pretty rough and by far not complete but this is a rough layout for the map of destiny (my zelda fancomic), i mainly took it after skyward sword but added parts of botw into it (like lanayru street, the twin mountains that were one mountain until ch3, the gerudo highlands, akkala ref; among more general map overlap)

this ones with some super rough chapter markers and some descriptions, the circle doesnt mean the chapter doesnt go to multiple places but the main happening of it is there, its again, pretty rough and lacks the correct order yet too, ill prob add that with time as i write out the scripts for the next chapters, so far i got the order until chapter 6 (chapter 4 is mostly at hylias temple and since there are alot of chapters happening there its not marked seperately)

chapter 1: demon (complete)

chapter 2: a dance of ice and fire (script done)

chapter 3: moving mountains (name not final)

chapter 4: starry night

chapter 5: a wound for a wound (placeholder name)

chapter 6: curiosity (possibly placeholder name, forgot to mark it on the map even tho i know where it goes)

most other chapters i know where and whats happening but i cant remember the exact order, i gotta make a structured chapter chart soon so i dont have to think over everything every single time i need the order

this is probably not very interesting but, even tho it is just a rough layout more for myself than anything else, i thought id share anyway, i know my handwriting when i write fast and tired is hard to read but uh .. feel free to send me an ask about it if theres anything youd like to know (do mention if you are ok with spoilers for the story)
