So

We see in Episode 1 that the Jedi have a way to test midichlorian counts, and that such counts tend to show how strong one is in the Force.

I also remember in my reading 20+ years ago of an Extended Universe/Legends book that the rebels/New Republic found some Jedi hunting tech, like they would scan the body and it would indicate if the person was Force sensitive (could be Truce at Bakura or something, again I read this 20+ years ago)

Do you think that Palpatine would threaten “untrustworthy” senators and planetary rulers with testing their children and family for Force sensitivity?

“We all know the dangers that threatened us when the Jedi existed. Let me make sure your brother is properly trained and safe uwu”

And of course, the “untrustworthy” political people, the people that had backed the Jedi and were the beginnings of the Rebellion, like Mon Mothma and the Organas, did their damnedest to keep in line.

It’s the gritty, nasty little carrier of such diseases as optimism, persistence, Perseverance and joy, Transmissible as it drags its tail across your path and  bites you in the ass.

Hope is not some delicate, beautiful bird, Emily. It’s a lowly little sewer rat That snorts pesticides like they were Lines of coke and still Shows up on time to work the next day Looking no worse for wear.

Celebrate Star Wars Day at Yavin 4 base. May the 4th be with you

For the star wars universe, what if one of the survivors of order 66 (I'm thinking padawan/youngling) was found out by the empire but escaped (like Cal Kestis). But, their birth parents see their name and face on the holo-news, and realize that the child they mourned for was still alive!

So, they join up with the rebellion. Maybe they request to be sent to the system their child was last seen in. Or maybe they stay at a rebel base. But, after a while, they find their child! Their child (who may not be a child anymore) joins (or is already a part of) the rebellion.

Anyone know any fanfics like that?

Does anyone have a good idea of which army these characters from the Ahsoka trailer are from?

Looking at the rank insignia I think it may be the rebellion (so this character would be a lieutenant), but I've never seen the type of ship and layout before?

The answer to this affects how much I'm going to convince myself of a far fetched Thrawn theory

The odds of the Metaphor For the Interconnected Nature of Life being used to kill you is low but never zero.

Odds go up exponentially if Darth Vader is anywhere within you vicinity and go down once he leaves.

i don't actually think star wars is space fantasy. 99.9% of people in the GFFA are just in a regular science fiction story. but also have a low likelihood of meeting a real actual wizard.
