I have talked about them in the past, and I'm not the biggest fan of them, but I'd be lying if I said they're worthless.
There's a lot to love on them, especially these days, and I could sit down and watch any of them any day of the week. Or, put them in the background while I'm cleaning the projection room, either or is good for me.
If you don't like these even as a guilty pleasure, that's ok.
And if you like them a lot and don't consider them a guilty pleasure-
Jamesy: Then you're part of my club!
Shut up you feather duster! This is my blog!

Still reading The Living Force. I'm actually much farther in now than when I took this pic over the weekend, before I got kicked out of the winery for throwing the book across the room--
No, no, I kid. In fact, there's lots to like about this book. Much of it is warm, funny, and full of Jedi details and lovingly crafted little scenes given to more obscure Council characters. Depa and Mace continue to shine.
I'm still... very much struggling with some aspects, some inconsistencies and contradictions that I can't tell are there on purpose to make a point in the narrative, or just unsuccessful writing. But I'll try to post an actual write up shortly when I'm officially finished.

Dear Supporter,
I hope this message finds you and your family in good health. My name is Eman Zaqout from Gaza. I am reaching you out to seek your urgent help in spreading the word about our fundraiser. I lost both my home and my job due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and we are facing catastrophic living conditions. 💔
I kindly ask you to visit my campaign. Your support, whether through donating or sharing, will help us reach more people who can make a difference. Thank you for your continued support for the Palestinian cause. Your dedication brings us closer to freedom. 🙏🕊
Note: Verified by several people as 90-ghost and aces-and-angels. ☑
I don't know how far my reach goes, but as my mother says, 1% is better than 0%.
This woman from Gaza is a scientist. She also has a husband and two kids, a 12-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter. She seems like a brilliant woman to me, having already done life-saving work inside and outside of Gaza. With help, I hope she will do even more.
TV, film, books and video games have taught me many things, but the one lesson that always stands out to me is that we must look after our fellow person. My blog may be primarily film reviews, but films are political, they contain morals and they reflect the time in which they are made.
I personally, am not in a position to donate to these causes. I understand if you can't either. I ask that if you come across this post, you consider interacting in any way so that you can boost its reach. It just might find someone who can donate.
Because of recent world events, tough times are ahead. As difficult as it may seem, we have to hold onto hope. We are always stronger than we think and braver than we realise.

The first Marvel miniseries from Phase III of the High Republic Era was completed with Star Wars: The High Republic # 10. The story had a satisfying ending while still leaving more to explore in the future.
My concern coming into the final book was that I didn’t see how they had enough time to wrap up the story while also setting up the future of Sskeer and Keeve Trennis. However, now that I know there’s going to be a second series in Phase III, I’m no longer concerned.
I can’t say that I’m a fan of Terec surviving and returning in this issue. It feels as though the stakes were lessened.
The ending full page spread of all of our heroes — Yes, including Lourna Dee. — standing over the unconscious body of Baron Boolan was great. Couldn’t have happened to a worse guy.
I’m excited for the next phase of Phase III. I was thrilled when they announced that Cavan and company would continue with a new series in this phase.

This is my comfort light saber.
I know the Star Wars Prequels get a lot of bad reputation, but when I'm feeling down I always pop any of them in, especially Episode I for some weird reason.
They're not good, and they have a lot of stupid stuff in them, but I'll be damned if they're not entertaining in a schlock and guilty pleasure way. If you ever wonder if I'm feeling depressed, check what I'm watching. If it's Star Wars related, then I am most definitely bummed out.
I wonder if those new movies are any good.

I was with my brother and the topic of super long video essays came up specifically Jenny Nicholson's 4 hour Star Wars hotel video and Quinton Reviews iCarly and Victorious videoes and he was complaining about going off on tangents and making their videos overly long because they won't shut up and I'm starting to think I'm the only child who got the family autism
