A new Jedi Oc I’m working on:

Meet Rass Kiss, the first ever (recorded) force sensitive Verpine in all of Verpine history. Don’t let their childish, young looks and mannerisms fool you as Rass was born in the year 71 BBY! Unlike most Jedis, Kiss began their training at a fairly old age by Jedi standards (12 years old), immediately after the Jedi Order found out about them.

During the Clone Wars they served both as a very good general and technical engineer. Yet their skills and talents couldn’t protect them from getting unexpectedly killed during Order 66, thus dying at the age of 52 cycles.

Star Wars: Trails of Red Episode 4: Imperial Defense

The planet Cholganna is now a battlefield. An imperial garrison is now fighting against an anti-Imperial organization known as Trol. Trol is a diverse group of aliens against the Galactic Empire. A female red eyed Verpine and a Boosodian were on grassy plains blasting at Imperial Army Troopers. The Boosodian shot down and killed two army troopers while the Verpine shot down three. A purple skinned male Nautolan with black eyes and a brown jacket pulled out a Gatling blaster and shot down eight army troopers. The Verpine threw a knife and killed an imperial probe droid. The Boosodian threw a thermal detonator and destroyed three army troopers. For two days the troopers had to deal with Trol due to their constant attacks and bombings. More and more army troopers showed up. The three rebels ran away as they continued to fire their blasters. Two army troopers were shot and killed by the members of Trol as they ran for miles. A female Cerean sniper with blonde hair fired her blaster and killed the lead trooper from a far away area. The remaining troopers stopped themselves to look around. They were confused and scared due to the amount of blaster fire coming from the opposing forces. The members of Trol were gone as soon as the sniper disappeared. Thirty minutes later the four aliens went to the mountains of Cholganna. They met up in a small hut made of sticks and stone. The four aliens were inside the lower area of the hut so that the garrison wouldn't hear them. "Reegana, Nufioo, Karito I would like a status report." the Cerean ordered. "The garrison didn't have their droids with them this time, which tells us something is amiss." Karito said. "I saw a probe droid malfunction as it entered the base," Reegana reported. "{{Nothing special in my case.}}" Nufioo said. Nufioo wasn't taught galactic basic standard since he was Boosodian. He can speak his native language and huttese. The only ones that could understand him are the Cerean, Reegana, and Karito. The female Cerean slammed her fist on the table. "We're not doing good enough, we can't even get past the first wave thanks to those blasted army imps." she said. "Urkiana, I hate to tell you this but the Empire has more technology than we do. It's impossible to get past them and destroy the entire garrison." Karito said. "No, it is possible, we were close. I knew it." Urkiana denied. "Even if we were close we wouldn't strike the garrison without a higher chance of dying." "Karito, there are seven of us who knew that. The Empire is as big as most of the galaxy. We need to teach the Empire a lesson in what happens when they mess with people like us." Urkiana told him. "How will this time be as different as the previous ones?" he asked. "It is because I told them about that malfunctioning probe droid." Reegana said after figuring that out. Both Nufioo and Karito looked at each other like dumbfounded individuals. "Listen, they will have fewer probe droids than before. We just need to tell Golizaa, Porkos, and Aajnya about it." she said. "There is no need, we already know," said a female voice from far away. There was a red Mikkian with blue eyes followed by a green male Dowutin with white eyes and a green skinned female Twi'lek with purple eyes. "So you know my plan, Golizaa?" she asked. "I do, whenever we do that plan we must do it swiftly and quietly. I fear the longer we take the bigger chance the Empire has in killing us." Golizaa said. Both Urkiana and Golizaa are close friends who helped form Trol. They have known each other since their childhood days. Meanwhile in the Imperial Base there was an Imperial Commandant with blue eyes and blonde hair looking in the sky. An imperial officer with brown hair and blue eyes approached his superior. "Commandant." He greeted him. The Commandant turned around and spotted him. "Niel, fancy seeing you here." "How is our status here?" "Not too bad, we lost an entire battalion but it is not a big deal." "An entire battalion? Commandant Zann, that sounds like a big deal to me." Niel said. "We have hundreds of them. Two days ago we lost a squad of sixteen soldiers. Yesterday they were all replaced. I guarantee you the ones we just lost will be replaced before you could wake up." Zann told him. Niel was unsure on what to think. "This entire planet is getting worse. More and more people are turning against the Empire. This planet will be an Anti-Imperial planet if we don't do something." Niel said. "Relax Niel. If we had to deal with Rebel Activity I will allow Stormtroopers into this area. Thankfully most of them are with the Emperor as they try to calm things down in Ryloth." Zann replied. Another Imperial Officer ran towards the two members and had something major to report. "Sirs, sirs." "What is it, Korzim?" Zann asked. "It is Trol, they took down one of our Probes." Korzim reported. Golizaa and Porkos barged into the front yard of the base and killed six army troopers. Urkiana turned to her right and shot down two troopers. Karito jumped into the base and shot down five army troopers. Nufioo got to the west side of the base and shot down three army troopers. "Lock down the entire base!" Zann ordered. Golizaa heard the order from far away and shot down two troopers. A female Imperial officer drew out her blaster and shot Karito in the head. Karito was dead as soon as his body hit the ground. Porkos broke the doors open with his bare hands. Aajnya jumped to the right and shot down two Imperial officers and an army trooper. Niel Corrno drew out his blaster only to be shot dead in the chest by Golizaa. Zann was shot in the head by Urkiana once she got inside the base. Nufioo was the last one to get into the base. Reegana decided to stay outside to take down the opposing troopers. Reegana went to the southern part of the base. She encountered a small squad of army troopers as they were patrolling the base. She drew out her blaster and shot down six troopers. The lead trooper saw Reegana and fired away. Reegana dodged the blaster bolt and shot down three more troopers. Two troopers fired at Reegana but missed as they rushed forward. Reegana shot down and killed the last six troopers in the southern part of the base. Reegana was shot in the neck twice by a tan skinned female Imperial officer with brown eyes and black hair. She dropped her blaster and hit the ground dead in less than three seconds. The entire base turned red as soon as Reegana died. The remaining five members of Trol looked around realizing Karito was not the only one dead. "What do we do now?" Porkos asked. "We grab new weapons and kick the Empire's rear end." Urkiana said. The five Trol Rebels got into the hallways of the base and went to the weapons room. They were followed by two Imperial officers with blasters in their hands. Porkos shot down the two Imperial officers once they reached the weapons room. Aajnya and Urkiana were loving what they were seeing after they removed the lids of the crates. Nufioo shot down three officers that were running to their location. "Uhh Urkiana?" Golizaa asked. "Yes, Golizaa?" "Shouldn't there be more troopers coming towards us?" "There should be, why do you ask?" Urkiana questioned. "This base feels empty." Porkos told the two women. Nufioo went into hallway 3-B and encountered a mouse droid. He shot the mouse droid, alerting more officers to their location. Nufioo turned to his right and shot down four Imperial Officers. Two officers ran away to alert their commander. The remaining Trol members transported the weapons to the main part of the base. Nufioo followed them only to encounter more army troopers. Golizaa shot down and killed two troopers as Urkiana shot down three. Porkos turned to his left and shot down two army troopers. Aajnya turned around and shot down five army troopers. Urkiana grabbed a thermal detonator and threw it only to destroy six army troopers. Porkos shot down and killed the remaining three army troopers. "I can't believe it, we are winning." Urkiana said. "We may have lost Reegana and Karito but at least we were able to steal as many weapons as we could." Porkos said. The officers made it to the top floor of the base. There was an Imperial Captain with dark brown skin, brown eyes and black hair looking at the two officers. "Captain Pordell, it is the Trol." the officer said. "The Trol?" Pordell asked. "It is what they call themselves, the rebels." the other officer explained. "If all of them are in the base then we must take them all down." Pordell replied. "That is our plan sir." the oldest officer said. During the time of the attack Korzim was hiding behind one of the secret rooms of the base. He took a deep breath as he activated his blaster. He slowly walked forward and shot Urkiana in the head. Urkiana fell to the ground and died. "NOOOOOO!" Porkos yelled. Nufioo pushed his arm to the right and shot Korzim in the chest, thus killing him once and for all. More Imperial Officers came out of their hiding places to take down the Trol. Golizaa shot down three officers as Aajnya shot down one. Porkos turned to his left and shot down two officers as Nufioo shot down three. The last three officers were shot down and killed by Golizaa in her anger. "We have to get out of here!" Porkos yelled. "No, the Empire must pay for Urkiana!" she yelled. Golizaa ran into the hallway with the intention to kill every single officer in the base. "She has gone mad." Aajnya said. "(Let's move the weapons while we can)." Nufioo said. Both Nufioo and Porkos grabbed the weapons supply and ran away as Aajnya watched for their back. Golizaa got into the top hallway and shot down five Imperial Officers. He jumped to the left and shot down a black R2 unit Astromech droid. She kicked the door open and shot down two Imperial Officers that were near the top room. Captain Pordell pointed a blaster at Golizaa. She turned to her left and glared at Pordell. "You are not like the other anti-Imperial activists I have dealt with today." Pordell said. "My best friend was killed thanks to you." Golizaa said in an enraged tone. "Ah, that will explain all the merciless killing you did before coming here. You know all of this could stop now and lives would be saved if you just surrendered. If you did that beforehand maybe your friend would be spared and your life will be much better but no. You had to go against the Empire." "You killed my mother, my brother, and now my best friend." Golizaa said. "I assume they were proud to be against the Empire like you are. Political unrest is not uncommon in the galaxy. Conflicts spew everywhere because two sides cannot agree on everything. Look at us now." Pordell said. Golizaa closed her eyes and fired her blaster at Pordell's chest. Zony Pordell fell on his knees, then onto the ground knowing he was seconds close to death. "You bested me. Now Cholganna is going to fall into chaos. Your life is going to be much, much harder now." Pordell said. Two seconds later Pordell breathed his final breath and died. Golizaa ran away and dropped her blaster knowing the Empire lost control of a planet.

They can also be loaded with all kinds of weird shit, ranging from simple explosive warheads that punch through stormtrooper armor and make a mess of their insides (literally bolt shells from Warhammer 40k) to freaky space acid that, even on a glancing hit or a complete miss, sprays it in the area around the target and begins to melt them alive.

Tracker rounds with nanites in them that stick to a targets clothes, incindiary ones that spray flammable material...hell theres gel rounds used by riot control forces that literally gum people up. 

And dont forget the Verpine Shattergun, which is basically a railgun in handheld form and fires a slug powerful enough to punch holes in tank armor and turn something the size of a Trandoshan into a cloud of mist and bone fragments.

Summary: Morgan Dax is a drugged-up, burned-out consulting investigator who used to be a Jedi, once upon a time. She is quite content to work her shit-tier cases and wait for her medicine to finally kill her, but that all changes when Samara Crix turns up at her door. Samara is six foot four’s worth of Zabrak muscle, Jedi powers, and danger.

She has evidence of a conspiracy within the Jedi Order, a conspiracy that ultimately led to the death of her Padawan at the hands of slavers, and she wants justice. Compelled by her own past, Morgan agrees to help her, and the two of them embark on a quest to find the truth.

But the odds are stacked against them, and it’s only a matter of time before something goes completely sideways. Maybe it will be Morgan’s rapidly deteriorating health. Maybe it will be Samara’s ability to resist the lure of vengeance. Or maybe it will be the Order’s golden Knight, the man implicated first and foremost in nefarious dealings… the master swordsman, Dooku.

Okay I assume that if Star Wars were modern, she would love Taco Bell. Yes, this is an odd assumption, but she looks like it’s her comfort food. I also assume that she loves Star ships of all makes and models and loves Naboo ships best. I assume she became close with a certain squad of Republic commandos and when they were kids, she named them. She loves noodles. Has a custom made Verpine Blaster just like Kal’buir but doesn’t use it often since she loves it so much. She wants to get a skull tattoo on her back.

Star Wars Alien Species - Verpine

The Roche asteroid field, sometimes known simply as Roche, was a series of asteroids colonized by the Verpine, including Nickel One (the capital), Slayn, Korpil, Roche G42, and Shantipole.

The Verpine people did not evolve in the asteroids of the Roche system. Each inhabited asteroid was only made livable through the creation of artificial, self-sustaining environments in the interior. Some observers thought that the Roche asteroids were the remains of a Verpine homeworld which had broken up either slowly through natural forces, or suddenly as a result of a catastrophic civil war. Others theorized that the Verpine were descended from extra-galactic nomads who settled in the Roche asteroid field. The Verpine simply told outsiders that they did not know of the location of their original homeworld.

Whether it was due to the after-effects of this ancient civil war, or because of the political uniformity and egalitarianism of their civilization, the Verpine were a peaceful people, expert arbitrators who preferred compromise to conflict. The large insects had long been a spacefaring race and had colonized the Roche asteroid belts before the Old Republic was born.

By the time of the Jedi Civil War, the Verpine were part of the Galactic community. High-quality Verpine-manufactured items ranging from ion blasters to cardio-regulators were widely used. Some of these designs were adapted and improved from other species, such as the Bothans or the Arkanians. Contemporary rumors were suspicious of the Verpine, however. Extrapolating from the Verpine practice of testing ion blasters on active droids, some Verpine weapons and medical technology were thought to have been tested on live sentients.

In later years, Verpine engineering was exemplified by the starship manufacturer Slayn & Korpil, which built the famous V-19 Torrent starfighter for the Galactic Republic and the B-wing starfighter for the Rebel Alliance. Their shipbuilding skills were attributed to the need to produce vessels which could safely navigate the Roche asteroids. The Roche Hive Mechanical Apparatus Design and Construction Activity for Those Who Need the Hive's Machines, more commonly known simply as "Roche", was a Verpine-owned droid manufacturer which met with limited success with models like the 8D smelter droid and the J9 worker drone.

During the Galactic Civil War, the Verpine were openly sympathetic towards the Rebel Alliance. However, they did not officially join the Rebellion as a whole, partly due to their natural pacifistic idealism, and partly due to the Imperial "advisors" posted in their system. After the Empire fell, however, the Verpine became supporters of the New Republic, with a close relationship with its military.

In 8 ABY, the Verpines broke a number of contracts with the Barabels to produce starships. They claimed that a "mad" hive mother had taken the ships, and given the nature of their society they were under no obligation to retrieve the ships. The Barabels did not see it in the same light, and began negotiating with Kubaz chefs for the sale of Verpine body parts to use in their cuisine. In response to this, the New Republic planned to send Leia Organa Solo to mediate the situation. The situation deteriorated rapidly when a Barabel ship was discovered with frozen Verpine parts. A fleet was sent to avert a war between the species, and Mon Mothma herself traveled to mediate.

During the Swarm War, some Verpine who were addicted to the Gorog Nest's black membrosia acted on the side of the Killiks, including procuring B-wings and Verpine shatter guns for the Killik forces. The Killiks attempted to invade the Verpine capital asteroid, Nickel One, and overthrow their government. The attempt was foiled by the actions of the Jedi Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade Skywalker and Jacen Solo.

During the Second Galactic Civil War, the Verpine accused the people of Murkhana of breaking trade agreements by producing technology similar to theirs. They signed a non-aggression pact with the Mandalorians because of their fear that the Mandalorians would expand their borders once again and invade Verpine territory. The treaty was simple: the Mandalorians would supply their best export, military strength, while the Verpines would supply defense technology and quality control.

This agreement was later put to the test when Imperial Remnant forces allied with Darth Caedus attacked the Verpine's home system in an attempt to gain control of their technology. The Mandalorians rushed to their aid and, with the help of Jedi Jaina Solo, the Mandalorians fought to defend the system.

Following their experiences with Imperial attacks, the Verpine developed the IX-6 heavy combat droid to aid in their defense of the asteroid settlements. Sometime after the establishment of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire in 130 ABY, Roche was ordered by Imperial officials to immediately cease the production of the IX-6 and destroy all existing models. Unwilling to succumb to the Empire, Verpine spread the factories throughout the Roche asteroid belt, hiding them deep in the asteroids which appeared abandoned from the surface. When the Empire learned of the defiance, a fleet of Star Destroyers blasted several heavily populated Verpine asteroids to dust. The massacre, however, did not break the will of the Verpine species and Roche continued to produce new IX-6 and smuggle them to anyone who could afford them.

Verpine were thin bipedal insectoids. Unlike many insectoids, including the Kibnon to which they were distantly related, the Verpine had only four limbs (two arms and two legs), though there were instances of Verpine growing vestigial wings. Their heads were dominated by large compound eyes. They also had two antennae, one located behind each eye. Their hardened carapace, composed of a green chitinous substance called carahide, was as flexible as the skin of other creatures, yet tough enough to deflect a blade or even absorb a glancing blaster bolt. The Verpine circulatory system did not contain a heart — at least, not an organ which Human physiologists would identify as a heart.

Verpine eyes were keen enough to pick out microscopic details. Their antennae contained tympanic nerves which picked up sound. Their antennae were also sensitive to radio waves, giving Verpine the natural ability to sense and transmit radio waves to communicate with another Verpine in their language over distances on the order of one hundred kilometers. Some observers mistook this nearly instant, silent communication for true telepathy. Thanks to their natural radio communication network, their colonies were run as a consensus democracy, with all Verpine instantly consulted on questions affecting the hive.

Given their reliance on radio communication, Verpine frequently suffered negative consequences when their antenna were damaged. While researching the Verpine, Leia Organa noticed that virtually all Verpine criminals suffered from a set of damaged antenna.

Verpine came in two types—intelligent, hermaphroditic Verpine and unintelligent worker drones. At the time of their entrance into Galactic society, only five percent of Verpine were intelligent, but the demands of technological civilization required the Verpine to restructure their society. After the change, egg-laying Verpine used a special enzyme to ensure all eggs laid developed into intelligent Verpine. Any drones needed by a Verpine hive were produced via cloning.

When a Verpine hive needed more members, some of the fertile Verpine would be asked to lay eggs, while others would be assigned to fertilize them. The eggs were cared for in colony incubators, and hatchlings were cared for by the entire hive.

The fungus Magenge, which grew inside the asteroid colonies of the Verpine, formed the basis of the Verpine diet.

A typical Verpine stands at 1.9 meters or 6.2 feet tall and weighs 60 kilograms or 132 pounds.

1 - 4 Child

5 - 9 Young Adult

10 - 40 Adult

41 - 60 Middle Age

61 - 80 Old

Languages: Verpine was the native language of the Verpine species.

Although Verpine language was usually spoken, Verpine could also use radio waves to communicate with other Verpine in their language.

Most Verpine were fluent in both Verpine language and Basic, although they were only literate in their own language.

PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on 8D8 as he appeared in "STAR WARS: Episode VI -- Return of the Jedi," also spelled Atedeeate, was an 8D smelter droid manufactured by the Verpine Roche hive, and who was later completely reprogrammed to serve as a dedicated torturer of both droids and organics.

"Free from the shackles and the double suns, the torture droid scopes out a new domain. Millenia pass and its search goes on for a planet on which to create a world of pain.
