if u couldnt already tell star trek has invaded my every waking moment and the voices told me to make an spn au...me + my friend dont have all the roles/positions worked out yet so have a uniform design instead. we're gonna ignore the delta halfmoon being asymmetrical, ok? ok.

okay, here i come with my christine defense bc i already see christine criticisms, yet nothing about spock.

was christine wrong for not telling spock about the fellowship sooner? yes, but there was only a few hours between christine finding out she got accepted and spock asking her about the fellowship!

but spock is not blameless in this episode either!

spock acted entitled. first, he was noisy about christine's private files even though he knew it was unethical. second, he pressured christine into talking right after he and uhura decided to heighten someone's feelings as an experiment.

knowing how useless her defense mechanisms would be in that musical universe, he basically forced her into baring her soul and vulnerabilities!

he did that in front of their friends and strangers, completely disregarding christine's needs for privacy.

that was manipulative, pushy and absolutely not the way you act with someone who has emotional issues due to their war trauma.

we can say that both christine and spock were written out of character without any misogynistic double standards!

Nyota from the Kelvin Timeline aka AU Star Trek really doesn't get the credit she deserves.

Not only she got beauty and brains, she's so courageous.

Her addressing the Kilngons in Into Darkness is a complete act of heroism.

Klingons are dangerously territorial warriors that the bravest man would be wary of so for them to even fly into their airspace was life threatening but for Nyota to ask them to help was unheard of.

But yet she walked out to them with her head held high to save the Vulcan she loved and their captain as well.

It's sad that people forget she did this or overlook the scene because Nyota was amazing.

2. “Get in.”

"I fulfilled your terms. Now fulfill mine," Spock reminded him harshly and the man, Jim had introduced to Scott as Khan, sighed. There was a crooked smile on his lips.

"Of course, Mr. Spock. Take your crewmembers back."

With these words the augment activated the transporter and Kirk and the blonde woman vanished in thin air. Scotty's heart beat out of his chest. What about him?

"You apparently forgot someone," Spock said, his face as stern as ever.

But Khan only shook his head, smiling maliciously.

"It was your crew for my crew. If I understand it right Mr. Scott is not part of the Enterprise crew anymore."

Scotty's heart skipped a beat. Oh no. Oh no, no, no. Why hadn't he kept his damn mouth shut? Earlier on, he had apologized to Jim for handing in his resignation. Khan must have overheard it! And now he used his chance.

"He has a brilliant mind. One that now belongs to me, Mr. Spock."

With that, the augment cut the transmission and his eyes fell on Scott. The engineer was petrified by the man's words.

He didn't belong to anyone! He himself chose who he worked for!

Scotty didn't have much time to protest though, for suddenly, the whole ship was jolting around violently.

"No..."

Khan's eyes widened in shock. What? What had happened? Scotty didn't understand. The Enterprise couldn't possibly have fired any weapons at the Vengeance. His silver lady didn't have enough energy to do so.

The Scotsman was startled when out of nowhere, Khan let out a scream, filled with rage and anguish.

The augment didn't think twice. He fired everything straight at the Enterprise, ignoring Scotty's pleads and cries.

No! He couldn't do this! Khan couldn't-

In horror, Scott stared at the collapsing ship in front of them which was pulled into Earth's orbit. It would crash! Everyone would die!

"No," he whispered once again, shaking his head.

"Get a shuttle ready."

The engineer heard Khan's order, but he didn't move an inch. He would never listen to this man! Never!

Tears streamed down his face as he thought of all the people lost.

Jim, Leonard, Sulu, Pavel, Uhura, Spock - they were all... dead.

So was every single member of his engineering crew. He was the only survivor.

No... there was someone else.

Keenser.

The wee lad had stayed on Earth, said that he'd be waiting for Scotty's return. He had to get back to him. He couldn't let him down.

"Move!"

Khan grabbed the Scotsman's arm and forcefully pulled him along. Scotty just stumbled after him, trying to focus on the one thing important right now.

Getting back to Keenser.

Soon enough they found what Khan was looking for.

A shuttle!

"Get in."

Khan quickly shoved him inside before he himself followed. He forced Scotty to sit down in one of seats and then sat down beside him, starting the shuttle.

"Try anything, Mr. Scott, and you'll be dead before you know it."

The deep voice was cold and threatening. Khan made clear that he was not the type for games or joking. And Scotty wouldn't provoke him.

He had to survive. He had to make it. For Keenser.

So he swallowed the lump in his throat and nodded. He'd play along for as long as he needed to.

He just had to find a way to escape.
