Told from the perspective of a horrified onlooker first trying to convince the kid to put the wheels back bc people have tried it before and then rapidly trying to de escalate a very determined de aged Danny from selling the wheels to the nearest rogue.

Personally am envisioning a delighted Harley cooing over the kid as she gets some new wheels for her motorbike and promptly roping the kid in for tea with her gf and def not to make him her nephew by sheer willpower. However, the options are truly open. Freeze, scarecrow, hell the joker would probably go along with it bc he finds it hilarious and would provide a convenient excuse for old Danny ‘Fuck Clowns’ Nightinggale to get within stabby stabby range. The world is your clown-killing oyster.

Phantom has been apart of the justice league since its beginning. The young man was powerful and had no recorded history of hero work despite them being an experienced hero (when mentioned about that, Phantom muttered something under his breath about “Desire”?)

But after an incident involving a shapeshifter and a power damper, everything The Justice League knew about Phantom was put into question as he turns into a young teenager. It’s like another Billy Batson situation but instead of physical turning into an adult, they only shape shift into one.

Meanwhile for phantom, he is doing FANTASTIC. He’s phantom form hasn’t aged in 7 years and it wasn’t like ghosts age to differently by human standards, by all accounts Danny is a fully adult ghost. He can’t change his form permanently without ether first losing his obsession or damaging his core so he does the next best thing, learn how to shape shift.

He can’t do much, only bump up his ghost appearance to match his human one, but it was more than enough… until the Justice League found out about the shapeshifting and won’t listen when he says he really is an adult

Skulker decides that being The Last Son of Krypton makes Superman worthy prey.

Clark doesn’t understand Ghost Speech though, so he doesn’t know that that’s Skulker’s goal. All he really knows is that a random robot guy has started repeatedly showing up trying to fight him.

And Skulker’s not like, that dangerous or anything. His ability to turn intangible is a huge hassle, yes, but his weapons don’t do much damage to Superman and he (superman) is fast enough to prevent people being caught in the crossfire.

So he’s just… a really persistent but ultimately not that dangerous threat. Like a cockroach.

MMMM twins au with danny and dan except its og TUE timeline danny and dan

ok okay i neeeeed o write this down and share it before i explode buT. as the title says. twins danny and dan (who im going to be calling James/Jamie bc i cannot express how much i despise the name dan) where, instead of disappearing into the ghost zone after he's separated from danny's body, Dan rips out Vlad's ghost half, tears THAT in half, and fuses one half with himself and the other with Danny.

Shit happens, and BOOM. Two morally ambiguous and perhaps slightly murderous demonic twins from hell. Daniel James Fenton and his Twin WHose Always Been Here What Are You Talking About :) James Daniel Fenton. They are both depressed, lonely, and one bad day from becoming a mass extinction event :)

this is because i got grabbed by the hair today and dragged into the SVSS fandom screaming and the fanart of Shen Jiu/Shen Yuan/Shen Quingqiu (????) with his fan entranced me. Ice Prince Core is my favorite thing so naturally i have to implant that onto my favorite blorbos ever :)

After the Incident, both their appearances changed and they're practically identical to each other. Sorta. They both have heterochromia and salt-and-pepper hair. But Danny has one green eye and one blue eye and white hair with black streaks, while Jamie has one blue eye and one green eye and black hair with white streaks. I'm iving them both long hair, for funsies <3

nobody can tell them apart, they keep getting confused on whose who and frankly the mix-match hair and eyes make it worse not better asjd. they're horrifically codependent. please do not separate :)

and because i must. im pulling a blood blossom/tales of the passerine and giving them to pre-robin batman. batman and his terrifying demon(??) twins. nobody is quite sure if they're human or not, and the scourge of gotham are a little too terrified to ask.

(they dont HAVE to go to batman while he's pre-robin. however. i think its much funnier that way bc gotham isn't use to A) Batman having kids, and B) Batman having TERRIFYING kids yet. think of all the new fun rumors)

they both use war fans while they're out, and neither of them use their ghost forms because they at least have the remaining empathy to know that they're more likely to murder someone accidentally as a ghost :). Ghost form is for fellow mythicals and Functionally Immortals Only! Not for Squishy Humans.

They're honestly not bad kids they're just horrifically traumatized two halves of a whole that can never be reunited ever again :).

idk what their vigilante names are but i do know that the underground refer to them in horrified whispers as 'the twins'. this all stemmed from the desperate and sudden urge to see Danny and Jamie, as their vigilante selves, hiding the lower half of their faces with fans and looking terrifyingly judgmental while they do it <333

Okay, I saw a comic of Dash telling Danny he respects his bisexuality and is bullying him as a nerd, not as a member of the LGBT community, and it got me thinking.

What if Dash eavesdrops on a conversation and believes Danny is pregnant?

Obvs this is a trans Danny au, and something happened to Ellie, and Danny is carrying her core. Vlad finds out and is himself about it. However, Dash hears this argument and puts things together in the wrong way.

Vlad corners Danny after school. Dash is staying after to practice for football and is going to practice when he sees Vlad dragging Danny into a room. He decides to listen in at exactly the wrong time.

“Daniel, you must stop being so irrational about this-“

“Irrational! You almost killed her because she isn’t a boy! I barely managed to save her! Now I have to stop taking testosterone because of you, and I have to worry about raising her during high school and putting off College-”

“I can raise her.”

“Not a chance, fruitloop. She’s my daughter.”

“She’s mine as well.”

“You were the one who decided to throw a tantrum and not only create her, but try and destroy her because she isn’t a boy! You don’t get to touch her!”

Cue a conveniently timed ghost attack or call from Maddie, but they leave without realizing Dash was listening in. Dash now has to grapple with the fact that the nerd he’s been bullying is pregnant, and the mayor, who he thinks he’s heard Tucker say is his godfather, is the other dad!

(Dash grew up with them, so he already knew Danny was trans.)

Dash immediately enlists the other A-listers to help him protect Fenton.(Because Dash may be a bully, but he’s not evil. He’s not gonna beat a pregnant man, especially since the mayor has apparently been creeping on Fenton.)

This all culminates into protective A-listers making it known Fenton is off limits and an extremely confused Danny who doesn’t know what’s going on.

Legacy of Chronos: Daughter of the Unknown God

Through her travels around the world/Infinite Realms, Ellie stumbles on Camp Halfblood and is mistaken for a demigod. She is determined to be a legacy of Cronus (Clockwork) and the child of an unknown god with a DP symbol (Danny).

Cue everyone mistaking Chronos for Kronos and thinking that the mystery god is a child of Kronos born sometime while he was in Tartarus. This misunderstanding is not helped by the fact that the Underworld is part of the Infinite Realms and portals to the Ghost Zone where often mistaken for portals to Tartarus.

Now Zeus is freaking out and wants to use Ellie as leverage against her father who obviously wants to take over Olympus. Percy/Thalia/Nico/Lester/whoever is now trying to keep Ellie out of Zeus’s paranoid clutches and get her back to Tartarus before her father goes looking for her.

(Ellie is so happy she made new friends, they’re even going to take her on a road trip to LA. Sure they seemed really nervous when she mentioned Danny would come looking for her if she didn’t check in soon, how was she supposed to know Hellhounds are cellphones anyway)

Danny Phantom eldritch/lovecraft mythos AU

So I just had this idea randomly while laying there getting stabbed repeatedly (electrolysis) and tbh I haven't put much thought into it beyond that but hey i figured why not share it:

AU of Dany Phantom where instead of ghosts, it's more eldritch stuff inspired by the Lovecraft mythos and adjacent material

Maddie and Jack are the classic archetype of "investigators tormented by the eldritch knowledge they've learned"

But hey on the bright side that knowledge lets them figure out how to make things that would otherwise be impossible

Instead of trying to make a portal, they were trying to make a device to seal a portal/dimensional rift

Danny still gets caught in an unintentional activation of the device his parents were making, like in the original

But instead of becoming a half-ghost, he has eldritch energy stuff from the rift sorta stapled into him

He isn't technically human anymore, but he can shape himself into an approximately human body well enough that he's just a little unsettling to look at instead of visibly monstrous so he can still act like a normal(ish) person

Technically any other similarly intelligent eldritch entity probably could do the same pretending-to-be-human thing too, but Danny having been a human kid for his whole life before that means it's a lot easier for him

Instead of "going ghost" he just kinda... unfurls his eldritch-y-ness

He probably struggles a bit to "detransform" actually, since his human form is more like a disguise than a fully distinct form he can switch between

I guess the ghosts would be replaced by the more minor entities from the mythos? I'm not super familiar with a lot of the mythos stuff tbh

and maybe dealing with human cultists too

The story's version of Amity Park probably takes a bunch of inspiration from Innsmouth

Oh that just made me think "The Shadow Over Amity Park" could be a fun title for this maybe

sans trudges through the snow, his boots sinking into the endless white expanse of snowdin. the town is empty, ravaged by the howling winds. he glances at the gyftmas tree in the middle of the town, only half the ornaments put.

“STILL DOUBTING YOURSELF, HUH?”

the unexpected voice pulls him from his thoughts, and sans turns. papyrus is there, a head in the air with his scarf around his dismembered neck. there is a faint shimmer to him, a translucent glow that always makes sans’ chest tighten. papyrus is only a ghost – a reminder of what he has done.

“following me again?” sans asks, his voice low, not accusatory.

papyrus grins, a grotesque one. “SOMEONE HAS TO KEEP YOU COMPANY. YOU’RE NOT EXACTLY GREAT AT KEEPING FRIENDS THESE DAYS.”

sans rolls his eyes and keeps walking, but papyrus follows him as in anchored.

they move in silence for a while until papyrus speaks again. “YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT HIM, AREN’T YOU?”

sans’ steps faltered, and he clenches his fists. “what’s it to you?”

papyrus rolls his eyes. “PLEASE, BROTHER. YOU GET THIS LOOK WHEN YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT HIM. LIKE YOU’RE NOT SURE IF YOU’RE MAD AT HIM OR MAD AT YOURSELF.”

the words sting, not because they are wrong, but because they hit too close to the truth.

geno’s voice echoes in sans’ mind, sharp and cold like shards of ice. “you’re unraveling, sans. you act like you’re in control, but you’re just a glitch like me. a mistake in a broken system.”

sans’ breath hitches as another memory surfaces: geno’s calm, almost clinical voice speaking to him. “you don’t care about them. not really. you just want it to stop. you think killing will fix it, but it won’t. you know that deep down, don’t you?”

he grits his teeth, shaking his skull as if to dislodge the voices.

papyrus looks at him, his expression softening. “YOU’RE DOUBTING YOURSELF THERE AGAIN, AREN’T YOU?”

sans glares at him. “what do you want me to say, papyrus? that he’s wrong? that i’m not losing my mind?”

papyrus’s grin fades. “I JUST WANT YOU TO STOP TEARING YOURSELF APART.”

sans looks away, his gaze fixed on the endless white horizon. “he’s real,” he muttered. “he’s the only thing that makes this mess make sense. but i-”

“AND IF HE’S NOT?” papyrus’s voice is quiet, almost gentle.

sans clenches his fist, his hands trembling. geno’s words came back to him, colder than the snow. “fine. destroy yourself for all i care. you’re just a story i’m stuck watching, sans. nothing more.”

“shut up,” sans hisses, unsure if it’s towards the geno in his head or his brother in front of him.

papyrus sighs. “I’M NOT TRYING TO HURT YOU, SANS. I JUST WANT TO REMIND YOU OF WHAT YOUR GOAL IS.”

“i don’t need a reminder,” sans says bitterly. “i haven’t forgotten.”

they walk in silence for another long moment, the snow falling softly around them. when sans turn his head, papyrus is gone, no trace of him left behind but the scarf snug on sans’ neck like a noose.

sans trudges forward, the ache in his chest heavier than ever, geno’s words and papyrus’s ghost trailing after him like shadows he couldn’t outrun.
