Note
do you think clan cats would know what stalagmites/stalactites are? would they ever name someone after them?
I don't see the main 5 Clans having words for them. In fact if I was making a Cave Entry for Clanmew, I would have them call those "Stone Icicles" or "Cave Teeth." Languages tend to develop words for concepts they frequently experience.
It's why england has a lot of phrases about rain. British people will say, "That's a drizzle. That's a downpour. It's showering. It's spitting. It's pissing down." These are all completely different types of rain.
Unless it was leftover from Classic Tribemew, since they would have words for both stalactites and stalacmites.
But anyway if you're naming an OC or something then why not, y'know?

Satan souverain, savant souterrain.

Not rdr2 related, but I've been sharing my other digital paintings here and decided to upload this one here too.
And this one's a gif too! Fun fact, the rabbit is my late rabbit, Midnight. He died a few years back, but he loved to sit out in the rain.

A Paul Bunyan Redesign for class. I really put way too much time in to the background on this one, so I feel I got lazy with the characters. The class also tore it apart pretty harshly during critique so that made me dislike it even more, but I put a lot of time in to it so I’m posting it anyways!

Do not take what is not yours
Beneath the depths of the earth there are paths. Pathways that wind and undulate back and forth between stalactites and stalagmites and the pillars of the world. Eyes watch from the shadows. Waiting. Be certain to leave a gift in exchange for any jewel or pockmarked stone you take. They will know if you do not.

From the Fairy Cave at Buchan Caves Reserve, Victoria, Australia.
It was hard to capture the luminous beauty of translucent limestone and the extrordinary sparkle of calcite crystals - I would love to go back with a more sensitive camera and more time to linger!
Photos taken with a Olympus E-PM2 camera with a 45mm-f1.8 lens and mini flash. Processed via RAWTherapee and GIMP.
