OKAY OKAY OHH MY GOD SO BASICALLY I GOT STOPPED BY MY TEACHER AND SHE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO BE SPOT LIGHT FOR A SEPERATE SHOW AND I SAID YES OBVIOUSLY I WAS ALREADY PLANNING ON IT AND THENNNNNNN SHE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TOO BE ASM FOR THE SENIOR SHOW AND THE PLAY THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!1 LIKE HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! SHE WANTS ME TOO ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGE THE SENIOR SHOW??? WHEN IVE NEVER ASM'D BEFORE?!?!?!?! LIL OLD ME!?!?!?! WHAT!!!!! SO I TOTALLY FREAKED OUT AND SAID YES OBVIOSLY AND OHH MY GOSH IM SO EXCITED!!!!! UGGHHH I CAN'T WAIT!!!! ITS GONNA BE ALOT OF WORK BECAUSE THE SENIOR SHOW AT OUR SCHOOL IS REALLY BIG AND HAS ALOT OF THINGS TO DO, ITS THE MOST "PROFESSIONAL" AND BIGGEST AND HIGH QUALITY THEATRE AND SHOW PER YEAR I WORK IN AND I FEEL SO SO SO HAPPY SHE ASKED ME TOO ASM OH MY GOD LIKE I FEEL SO LUCKY. FOR OUR LAST ONE IT WAS 2 SENIORS WHO WHERE ASM! BECAUSE THE WORK LOAD I S JUST SOO HEAVY FOR A ASM ON A SENIOR SHOW AT OUR SCHOOL BUT I KNOW I CAN DO IT AND IM SOOOO EXCITED. I HAVENT TOLD THAT MANY PEOPLE YET BUT HOLY CRAP AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

To Beetlejuice the Musical

Thank you for being. I thank the writers, composers, directors, cast, swings, understudies, crew, stagemanagers, costumers, makeup artists, house band, and anyone else who made this show a posibility.

I fell in love during at time where I nearly gave up my dream of acting altogether, it was seeing a bootleg that stopped me and made me realize how badly I still want to do this someday.

What I Know Now hit me hard at first, because of intusive and destructive thoughts I used to have and still get from time to time, reminding me that a permanent decision is not the fix to a temporary problem.

I have made three amazing friends because of this show that I talk to on the daily now. I love them and am so very thankful to have, and to continue to share this with them.

Then my Dad passed away. The very ladt day he was ever home was the Thanksgiving Day Beetlejuice performed in the Macy's Parade. For nearly three years I have been desperately clinging to it as a way to cope. My relationship with him had been much like the one Lydia described between her and her mother. My life had been up ended and 'Home' became and still is my song of self expression.

In some ways the show ended up saving the relationship between my mom and I. We've been dueting 'No Reason' for a long time now, and watching boots together has encouraged discussion about grieving our loss.

I was lucky enough to get see the show twice, April eighth, ressurrection night, and October 9th. Both these shows were the experience of a life time. AndI was very happy to have family with me the second time. Though some scenes I sob through, something about them is soothing. The topic of Beetlejuice the musical and inside jokes and references made as a result have been passed around these last few months.

I am so torn up right now. So heartbroken and have been an emotional wreck over the show closing for a couple weeks now. But despite the pain, I cannot be more proud of the show and all who made it possible. It may be closing tonight, but it refused to die for so long. They survived eviction, covid, broke box office records even recently, and through all the injuries and illness's that fell upon the cast they still managed to bring people an amazing show with amazing swings and understudies night after night.

Thank you so much Beetlejuice Broadway for the ways you have made me laugh, cry, and the way you have changed my life. Shows will come and go, but you will always have a very special very permanent place in my heart.
