Anyway, this is all an elaborate excuse to state that my favourite st4t headcanon is JD and Veronica from Heathers, specifically the musical. They're both isolated and damaged and attracted to each other in a way that perfectly encapsulates the trauma of growing up transhet.

I hope this doesn't take away from the seriousness of what I was saying before but I love Heathers. It's one of my favourite musicals of all time.

It's kinda frustrating how many st4t headcanons or fictional couples are either implicitly transphobic or outright crude caricatures of what is seen as one of the safest possible relationships for a lot of straight trans people. Obviously, there are gender-nonconforming straight couples out there, but let's not pretend that the overrepresentation of "genderfucky" transhet couples isn't without bias.

Like, if the only st4t couple you can imagine is a big masculine woman and a small effeminate man then maybe you should stop pretending that you see trans people as anything but their AGABs. That or you view us as automatically gender-nonconforming by default which isn't the revolutionary take you think it is.

I headcanon Sasuke as a trans chick and Naruto as a trans dude, sure. But they are not ST4T. Instead I headcanon them as "T4T solidarity at its worst." You may not like it but at the end of the day it's dumb as shit to ruin your life over some motherfucker you've spoken to like 12 times in your whole life.

my coffee-addicted fire bird & fellow professional cook (who i 100% headcanon as autistic & ace as well, for various reasons). we both have burn scars, both had a traumatic childhood, and both have given far too much of ourselves to other people. he's the easiest character for me to live vicariously through, because i empathize the most with him on an emotional level.

#2: Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon)

#3: Philomel Hartung (Mana Khemia)

literally no one knows this game, so thank you Google Images. 🥲 anyway, Philo looks sugary-sweet on the outside but actually has a super cynical outlook on life and an unusually calloused view of death (for reasons that get explained as her storyline progresses). her appearance vs her actual personality sum up how i present myself, too.
