Kieran: Attempts to open the door bc this is ridiculous, only to get annoyed upon finding it is locked. Fine. They’ll have to wait it out. Crosses their arms over their chest and leans against the wall while wearing a glare (this is too close and too embarrassing). You stay over there 🫵 We ain’t doin shit but sittin here in cold, tense silence for 7 minutes. Very curt with any attempts at conversation and won’t make eye contact.

Nihm: “Um. So, now what?” :) (has no idea what this game is—haha what is anyone even supposed to do in a closet for 7 minutes anyway?? Try on coats?? Haha :D it’s really cramped in here, huh…ha…haha…um 😰😳)

Lilith/Lucien: Very comfortably settles in and not-so-subtly attempts to draw attention to their chest/cleavage, eventually to an exaggerated extent, and will take a wolfish delight if MC attempts to look anywhere but there. Blunt; they know what they want. “Soooooo…….you wanna make out, or…?”

Samira: Also tries to open the door only to huff frustratedly when she finds it locked. Too livid at first to notice how close she is to mc in the cramped closet but when she does, ho boy. Aurynn: “Sooo…” 😏 very casual, smug and teasing. Probably hard to see beneath his laidback lean and flirtatiousness, but there is an underlying tension to his whole posture/expression. He’ll offer to make out with or go down on mc but will get skittish if mc tries to return the favor.

Kieran: *small sharp gasp* After a moment they relax and feign a chiding glare; despite that they don’t complain and fold their hands over MCs and press them closer to warm them. After a bit they’ll bring MCs hands to their face to kiss MCs fingertips and then interlace their fingers.

Nihm: “Oh :) do you want me to—Eeeeeeeek!!” *squeals in surprise* After getting over their initial shock they’ll attempt to stay still while mc warms up (and they do too 😳) but they’re definitely squirming the whole time. Afterwards they’ll let you share their pocket and hold hands with them :)

Lilith/Lucien: “There are warmer places you could—I mean, you should’ve just said something earlier. C’mere.” They'll pull mc closer and let them trail their hands along their torso before bringing their hands up to either side of their face and holding them there (and now they can stare at mc too); one of their attunements is fire so they can warm MCs hands with that too.

Samira: She has to resist the reflex to break MCs wrists jump away in shock and instead rolls her eyes. 🙄 “I told you to bring gloves.” Despite her chastising, she’ll gently pull MCs hands away from her stomach (cuz that’s way too cold bb) and instead clasp them in her own pull mc closer and fold their hands over her chest.

Aurynn: *high pitched girlish shriek as your icicle fuckinfgf hands touch his stomach followed by him clearing his throat and pitching his voice several octaves too low as he attempts to find the words which will salvage what dignity he never had in the first place*

Would fall silent and sulk and begrudgingly grumble about mc perhaps maybe having a point (they are embarrassed they were arguing the wrong point and that they now must admit it). More so embarrassed if mc WILL NOT LET IT GO. Will get snappish and leave to hide the flush starting to burn at the tips of their ears.

Nihm: “Ah—oh.” immediately stutters to a stop and deflates with a sigh. Sorry for arguing with you—you’re right. They won’t dwell on it long—their pride is in no way wounded in admitting when they’re wrong. Unless the topic was on bugs and they were WRONG????? The world is a fuck and they are very stupid and hate everyone and everything. Life is naught but pain and suffering.

Lilith/Lucien: I mean they’re a simp so they’re quick to correct this, like gods you’re so right king/queen/highness 🫡 you make an excellent point as always and they deserve to be punished—speaking of which, do you want to punish them?? That or they’ll double down on their point to the point of absurdity just to keep the argument going. This is hot to them.

During the crushing stage, do the ROs ever fantasize (accidentally or not) about the MC? What type of scenarios do they think about the most/which one makes their heart beat faster?

Kieran: They’d mostly be unable to stop thinking about small shared moments of intimacy—like accidentally touching hands (and how it would feel to lace their fingers through MCs) or lingering stares (and wondering if they mean to MC what they mean to them) etc. Their touch averseness around strangers would shift into an aching hunger for touch—they are starved for it. Despite themself, they want to know what every little touch would feel like. A brush of fingers, a caress to the cheek, etc. And would it feel as electrifying to MC as it would to them?

Nihm: Well of course they have to think about the silly ‘would you still love me if I was a worm/bug’ scenario (and what if we were both bugs?? 🐛😳🫣❤️ *gaspppp* and we kissed??? On a leaf????). Mostly they would find themself thinking about little things they want to know about MC but maybe don’t—what their hand feels like and is it smooth or calloused, warm or cold? And what their eyes look like up close (esp if mc is taller, they can’t freaking see from down here and would they have to stoop down to kiss them??? 😳 and if they’re both short how close is too close for them to stand to try to see all the colors in MCs irises??), and what a brush of MCs lips would feel like on their cheek, and what are all their favorite things and what could they do that would be sure to make MC smile at them or laugh and does MC like puns cuz they’ve got a lot and if we adopted a caterpillar 🐛 together would we name her Baroness von Squiggly or Darby the Destroyer or Caterine Cutiepie III or—

Lilith/Lucien: Yeah, of course—all the time. They’re fantasizing right now. Plenty of nsfw ones 👌 but also, despite themself, they’d fantasize about domestic things they want so badly but know they can’t ever have—things like getting married and growing old with MC. Little details like what we’d eat at our wedding, and would we playfully argue over decor and no, no trust them, amaranth would be perfect choice of flower for the garlands and bouquets, and do you think your mom would like them, and tomorrow—and the next day, and every day after that—would you wake up next to them? But it’s a fantasy to them that will only ever be just that—a fantasy.

Samira: She would take a sort of guilty pleasure in fantasizing—fantasies are the only place where she can have MC. A lot of her fantasies would revolve around little mundane domestic things (like the I-want-to-do-my-grocery-shopping-with-you-for-the-rest-of-my-life type fantasies), and things like wanting to take MC home to meet her parents and show them where she grew up and wanting to cook for them. Things like wanting to let MC lie down to sleep with their head in her lap, wanting to know what MC would sound like murmuring sleepily to her before they go to bed and what they would look like when they wake, groggy and hair all mussed up and would they whine and pull her back to bed when she tries to get up? Little human things beyond the image they present as royalty.

Aurynn: He hasn’t really fantasized over much since he was a kid. In a crushing stage, he’s not really going to fantasize as he doesn’t recognize his own feelings for what they are, only that something’s changed and he is overly aware of every little interaction with MC in a way he wasn’t previously—and that scares him. When he was young, he’d fantasize about fairytale-style romances etc but he’s since become disillusioned with what love is and doesn’t entirely consciously understand what he or anyone really wants out of a relationship yet anyway. He won’t let himself fantasize anymore—it changes nothing.

Kieran: They always wanted a family and that’s something they never really had growing up with the exception of Alektis. Their father never loved them so they’ll make sure their children know they have parents who love them more than anything. Very gentle, soft-spoken, and protective.

Nihm: After everything, they didn’t think they’d get here in life but it’s nice having a family again, though they wish theirs could be here to see it. Very sweet and loving parent and has a hard time saying no to baby puppy dog eyes 🥺 Will willingly be their childrens’ doll—for dress up/make up, tea parties etc

Lilith/Lucien: well they really didn’t expect to get to this point in life. But they’re still here. Somehow. They always wanted a big family. Now they have one. Very nervous for reasons in the beginning but very playful and protective. Loves playing with their kids. Big goofy smile.

Samira: she is enamored with the fact she had a part in bringing up a new life in this world rather than taking one away (tho her reasons for feeling that way are spoilers). Just entirely in love with being a mom and she just loves mc and their kids even more for it. She’s always been a family girl and that hasn’t changed a bit.

Aurynn: very nervous at first bc of how he grew up and he also never thought he’d get here. Like if he looks away from the baby for even a second that thang is gonna explode. Needs lots of reassurance in the beginning but he really just wants to make sure his kids never feel unsafe, unloved, or unwanted.

Kieran: pulls away with a dry unimpressed glare (like “what was that?” >:/) but they give themself away when their fingertips immediately flutter to their cheek

Nihm: man, c’mon they’re oblivious as hell—if you reel them in under the pretense of whispering something, they’re going to get totally blindsided by a kiss to the cheek. 😳 Just slaps a hand to their cheek as they go scarlet and they just start either stuttering nonsense or reciting random bug facts louder and more frantically every time mc tries to ask them a question. 😨😰

Lilith/Lucien: “You missed.” :3 ❤️ *taps a finger pointedly to their lips while staring dreamily*

Samira: scoffs and glares tho there’s no real malice behind it (and as soon as mc isn’t looking she’ll reach up to brush the spot their lips touched her); tells mc not to joke around/tease her like that (bc that is surely what it was, right? This really isn’t good for her heart…)

Aurynn: catches mc by the chin before they can pull away and deepens a real kiss before pulling away and leaving mc with a pat on the cheek

Kieran: Took a fat minute for Farwah to warm up to them but Kieran just did the same thing they did with their cat String—bribed him with food and mutual respect 🫡 . The boy is easily swayed by the promise of a fat juicy cooked fish 🐠 He’ll need a bit more time to come around to Kieran the way he loves mc, but his intrigue has been caught 👍

Nihm: Farwah is their son now. Their baby boy. Sweet darling angel boy who can do no wrong. Not even mad that Farwah hissed and swatted at them a few times and mostly avoided them the first few days (to be expected). Samira: Has won him over almost suspiciously quickly (as he usually takes more time to warm to people even if he is weak to a bribe) despite his indifference at first. Her gracious humility about this fact only barely masks her incredible smugness. He is also incredibly well behaved now (????????) but only around Samira. He also knows a few tricks now (wtf??????).

Does it…? they’re blushing somewhat despite themself; while they won’t tell mc they saw, they are more self conscious around mc now and are constantly wondering if this means mc feels the same way..?

Nihm: Does not put two and two together. “Wow!! :D You’re a really good artist!! ✨❤️🌈” And then doesn’t understand why MC seems entirely mortified. They’re not great at drawing but they’ll draw a little stick figure-esque doodle of them and mc as frens to try to make them feel better. :D

Lilith/Lucien: really has to resist the urge to say anything or tease (draw me like one of your French girls~) bc if they do mc might start hiding these better and they won’t be able to sneak glances but—
