honestly my state's pride was ultimately underwhelming this year for me, but i gotta say it's...somewhat nice that it can be boring? like im so accepted and validated by people in my life that pride no longer feels like (for me) an escape or outlet. i attended this specific event with my mom in 2018 and it was my first pride event. i was still in high school. i remember it literally brought me out of a deep depressive episode for a bit, because of how fun and affirming and safe it was. it was a celebration of me and people like me!

but now i kinda get that everyday in my life. so pride really only offers me a chance to hang with some friends, day drink, smoke weed in public, and pick up freebies at every tent. it's basically like any other holiday to me now. but isn't that amazing? that im so accepted and loved and celebrated as a whole queer person, that i can take something like pride for granted?

i'm super thankful for that. i'm still super thankful for pride.

and, i gotta say, it was really touching to see so many middle school and high school aged kids there, sometimes with their parents and sometimes by themselves. i hope they one day can find pride as "boring" as i do. i hope every queer person can.

Unlocked and completed Dino Valley

Unlocked Golden Hills Valley (after glitching into it on like. day 3)

Completed all archeaology sets

Got every single spider except for one (see other part)

Unlocked Mistfall

Unlocked Wildwoods

Completed the Nightdust questline (and met Darko through there)

Completed the Avalon questline where you sabotage that dark core base in Valedale

Got Herman caught and then rescued him again (seeing Darko again)

Completed the druid paths in Valedale

On the final chapter of toy postcards

Met Rob and Bob

Things I haven't done in SSO:

Rescued Justin

Even considered rescuing Anne and Lisa

Restored the Baroness's racetrack

Visited pandoria (let me iiiiiiiin)

Met the spymaster (he's holding my last fucking spider hostage)

Got Bob out of the fucking water (requires captain brus to be in his fucking place to talk to) (he's not bc he's in moorland) (bob has been hanging out in the waters outside cape west fishing village for like. three months now)

I’m still confused about the old fjords. Last time I was confused about them retiring it was because months after that, no other horses were getting retired and the only response was “All old horses are getting retired eventually, the fjords just happened to go first” but like.

Why so early? Why soooo much sooner than all other crusty horses? There was a very solid gap between the fjords disappearing and literally all other horses, months if not like a year between the fjord and the second horse to get retired.

Why specifically the fjords? Did it have to do with the Kallter? Why did the Kallter have to go?

I feel like something was meant to happen and in true sso fashion. It didn’t.

One thing I wish sso would have done with Jay/Jessica is made them nonbinary/genderqueer in someway shape or form . Like their redesign and giving them a more androgynous name (I know they kinda dropped the name Jay but still :( ) like they really laid out the roadworks just to BETRAY ME - like imagine a nonbinary Jay in the pride festival and they like open up to MC about it (and when I say that I mean they slip up and get pissed and storm off in dark rider fashion) and and oh I'm so so crazy that would never happen but I would love it so mucvhvhchch......
