My Ideal Suicide Squad Trio Dynamics<33

First: Harley! I want Harley to be like her 90s/2000s counterpart where she is very intelligent and has a lot of heart. I want her to be mischievous and attracted to trouble, finding it to be the most exciting factor about being on the suicide squad, which would often lead her to causing some problems for the team that really frustrates the others. Another thing about her is that she can read her teammates really well and makes loud observations that scares them a little so they try and watch what they say around her.

I also think she would very much be the heart of the squad, her excitement to go make trouble with them and her bubbly personality brings them a sense of joy in the hell that is the squad.

Now, I think her dynamic with Captain Boomerang would kind of be like an annoying older brother/younger sister relationship. They become easily annoyed by each other and have petty fights but they do share a lot of laughs and enjoy each others company (for the most part).

I also think that they could pretty easily identify if one of them has had a shift in mood. Harley would check up on him and he would brush it off, Boomer would check up on her and she would probably rant a little before switching up again.

Harley would probably be closer to Floyd - I like to think she had a session or two with him when she worked at Arkham, so she would be more familiar with him + hes a rogue. I think they would have some romantic spark though its never really made official. Harley would be-

-very overly observational about Floyd, much to his annoyance because he prefers to be closed off. I think she would be able to read him easily and would often give him unsolicited advice that he pretends he doesnt need but it actually does help him. Because of that, I believe -

- they would have a lot of respect and care for each other because of their familiarities with each others life outside of the squad. The joy she brings to the team gives him a sense of comfort, and Harls can see past all of his walls and see the care he has buried deep.

Now, Boomers personality: I think he would be pretty similar to his SSKTJL and ss2016 self where hes super loud and proud, always lying to others to boost his own ego, and saying really stupid stuff. I think he is smart in battle and knows his way around fighting/weapons but he struggles with relationships and often has self-destructive tendencies, so he would often do things that betray the squad or go against them. I think he does consider them his friends but would never admit it and kind of keeps up the dumb persona because it entertains them and he likes being able to make them smile or shake their head as it feels like a real friendship to him. He tends to underestimate Harley and believes that he is smarter than her but is quick to shut up when she proves him wrong, but he still likes her regardless.

Boomer would also have a frenemies type relationship with Floyd and they are both way too stubborn to ever admit they kinda grew to like each other. They have petty fights over their weaponry skills and have competitions that they both find pretty fun and makes them closer but Boomer would probably find Floyd to be arrogant and a huge asshole most of the time. Boomer likes to annoy him and get on his nerves because its funny to him, but he is also inspired by Floyd because of how he works and how he seemingly is unbothered by outside factors.

Lastly: I think Floyd would have a similar personality to his secret six 2008, ss2016 and deadshot 2006 counterparts. He would be sarcastic, arrogant and seemingly uncaring, putting most of his focus onto the mission. He respects his teammates (for the most part) and having a sense of loyalty towards them because theyre stuck in it together. He would take on a kind of leadership role and primarily put himself at the most risk for the thrill of the mission and the lack of care he has for death. He works to the best of his abilities so he can have his days off to spend with Zoe. He grew to appreciate his teammates and the somewhat fun things they get up to (drinking, training, etc). He finds Boomer to be really stupid. Like. Stuuupid. But he finds him a little funny and they have a surprising bond over movies and weapons. Theyre a strong duo but they have a lot of stupid fights thats the equivalent to two children slapping each others faces. As for Harley, he finds her pretty naive and ditsy, but respects her tactical skills and how analytical she is. He knows she knows a lot about his personal life which he finds concerning but also comforting in a sense because she always let him know she was there, though he would rarely take her up on that offer. He respects Harls and is attracted to her passion and personality but he most likely wouldnt act on it.

I think altogether, they make for a very fun trio that share a lot of respect for each other, but also fight a lot like children. Anyways thank you for reading this<3
