Summary - Reader has landed a research job at a marine biology lab in Portugal. She is, therefore, staying with her sister and her sister's Portuguese boyfriend for the summer holidays. There she meets Ruben Dias who is on vacation with his friends after the 2024 Euros. However, the two meet under the circumstances in which Ruben believes that Reader is a prostitute.

It was odd. In Australia, August meant the beginning of spring, there after summer. But here in Portugal, the summer was coming to an end. Yes, you were still Portugal bound. Now more in a city called Amadora, where the evening sunsets cast a beautiful silhouette over the wholesome city.

"What are you thinking about?"

Ruben's chest vibrated against your back. The two of you were seated on the balcony of his parents' house, watching another day come to an end.

"I should probably call my sister." You sighed.

"Right now?"

"Yeah, she should be on her way from the hospital by now."

It was remarkable how the summer had unfolded. You came to Portugal with the hopes of boosting your academic portfolio, only to end up in a trafficking scheme in honor of the world's population of pufferfish. Thank god Gavin's bullet had spared Diogo's arteries, giving him another chance in life. Too bad a part of that life would be spent behind bars after his accomplices to Gavin's crimes. Nevertheless, your sister didn't care. She was in love and swore to stick by her man's side, even if it meant raising that man's child alone. Another thing that wasn't on your summer bingo card: becoming an aunt. However, it was another excuse for you to return to Portugal next summer and the summers after that.

"I think my mom would also want to talk to her. You know, to see if she needs anything."

"Thank you, Ruben, really. But your family has already done so much by letting us stay here for the remainder of the summer. I think it's time that my sister and I figure things out on our own."

His chest rose against your back as he exhaled. "So this is the end, then?"

"Of summer? I'm afraid so."

"What if I don't want the summer to end?"

You smiled, hearing the stubbornness in Ruben's voice. You turned to look at him, his features soft in the velvet sun.

"What if I don't want us to end." He said.

You perked up and kissed him, the kiss soft but hard at the same time. 

Ruben captured your face in his hands, attempting to draw you further into him. However, if you let him, you would never be able to recover from the heartbreak.

"Ruben." His name escaped your lips. A whisper. One that drew him out of his momentarily daze.

"Yes?" Ruben's eyes batted slowly, his eyelashes enviously long.

"Could you love someone you've just met?"

The question startled him. "I...I don't know."

You nodded, the answer expected. You couldn't love someone you've just met, especially not a summer fling. At least not without it being artificial, not to mention cynically cliché.

"But I want to...try."

You perked up, his voice fueling your hopes.

"I really like you, Y/N. It's just that....I've got to go back to England. and asking you to come with me—"

"Would be too fast." You smiled through the welling tears. Ruben was quick with his thumb, catching the thread of water before it escaped your eyes. He pressed a soft kiss to your temple. A promise that what you've experienced this summer wasn't all bound to become a traumatic therapy session later in life. His soft lips grazing your ear was a confirmation that summer flings were real. Summer flings were something precious, worth remembering. But like every August, a summer fling must come to an end.

Gavin has been searching online for a long time for something that belongs to Rúben Dias. His ultimate soccer crush. Finding his way on a random auction site he stumbled across someone saying they were selling genuinely heavily worn clothes that belongs to the soccer stud himself. Immediately he bought the equipment. He was willing to take the risk. After all he needed it for the next phase of his plan.

The box arrive quickly and with a warning and when he opened the box he could tell why. The box really did contain a heavy smell. The clothes were unwashed and they had Rúben’s smell still caked into them. A shirt. Short. Jock strap. Shoes and socks. He got a complete outfit that was previously worn by the soccer stud. Gavin wasted no time in putting the filthy clothes on. Taking extra time to smell the shoes of the soccer hunk while the crusty jock socks were placed on his feet.

The clothes were huge compared to him. But he planned to change that. Now that he had the clothes and the smells of the jock he could his fantasies come true.

“I revoke ownership of my body I’m going for a win. Rúben Dias, make me his identical twin!”

Instantly pain shot through Gavin. He could feel his foot growing to fill the shoes. His towers widening and he could see them pushing against the fabric of the large soccer cleats. His legs began to bulk with muscle and hair just as if he had been kicking soccer balls his whole life. His waist pulled in his abs be an to form giving him a thin athletic frame. He was beginning to sweat from all the pain. He was smelling just like the real owner of the clothes he now possessed. Looking in the mirror he was watched as his face slowly shifted a beard began to grow on his jaw line as his teeth got slightly bigger. With a shudder of finality, his body went slack. Falling into his new permanent form. Her could beleive it !! He was now literally identical to the hot soccer player he listed after.

Gavin got up and stretched his now muscular body. “Ahhh” he said in his new voice. Stretching every new muscle he would be working with for the rest of his life. Smelling the new smell he would now have. Looking through the eyes of a different viewpoint. He went to his room. He needs to see what it was like downstairs now. He felt a assocs weight in his crotch.

When he pulled his shorts down he gasped. He wasn’t disappointed. He knew Rúben was packing. But he didn’t expect to mention huge ! He began to leak pre on his dirty shoes and locks. Ot was dropped down his leg freely from his excitement. But now that he has the body of the soccer stud he needed to begin the next step of his plan.

Gravin was very familiar with the soccer studs training schedule. He waiting until late one night broke into the stadium when the star was on the field alone. He got the attention of the man who looked at him confused. Joe was he looking at homeland. This didn’t make sense !! He got closer and was in shock. And when the man was in hands reach he was so thrown off by what was going on that he didn’t he noticed the needle that was quickly plunged into his neck. Knocking out.

Gavin wasted no time. The spell was meant to be permanent but there was a catch. And the real Rúben was going to help him fulfill it. He drug him to the locker rooms. Undressing his twin he couldn’t help but feel aroused seeing everything g he now had from his own viewpoint. The rush was intoxicating. But he had to act fast. Taking some clothes out of his back pack that smelled horribly he put them on Rúben. Chanting with excitement. “The man before me cannot be. The only twin can be me! Alter his body, give him a change. Give a look that makes him strange!” Right before Gavin the passed out Rúben began to morph into another man. His bones cracking and his look shifting to another. Now. Gavin was the only Rúben. The real Rúben. He called security and had them kick the homeless looking man out of the locker rooms.

Every time Rúben goes to the stadium he sees the crazed homeless man with his sign. Begging for help. Pleading that people help him get his body back. He had to be kicked out of the stat room several times because he was trying to attack Rúben demanding to get his body back. But as the months passed the homeless became just another crazed man on the streets that no one beleive. This last time in the hospital he was given electroshock therapy. Now he was completely harmless. His old life finally gone and only leaving the life of the homeless man he now was.

Gavin on the other hand took over Rúben’s life completely. He would wake up in the morning and do his workouts. He would flex his perfect body. He would bend those meaty toes. And enjoyed the smells that his new body had. And he definitely love the monster cock he was now blessed with. His life couldn’t be any better. And now that he had the perfect body. He took pride in showing it off. He loved breeding the men on his soccer team and making the worship his stinky jock feet. They would beg him to see his naked body and his massive cock and it always came with a price that his team was more than willing to pay. Everyone of them had been on their knees or bent over the locker room bench by the new and improved Rúben. And he did t plan on ever going back to “his” old ways.

Samhain Ritual 2024 Excerpt - The Story & History of Samhain

While I'm not leading the Samhain ritual, my coven/circle is leading, I am helping with some sections of it! Notably, I wrote the section about the history of Samhain and how we celebrate it today. I thought I'd share it here like I've done with my other scripts, so I hope y'all enjoy it! (Note: I am not a Celtic pagan, so please excuse me if any information is wrong! I've included the bibliography at the end.)

Samhain is the final harvest before winter when the veil between the physical and spirit worlds is thinnest. Celebrated alongside Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, and All Saint’s Day, Samhain marks the end and beginning of the Wheel of the Year as we enter the darkest half of the year.

Samhain, as we know it to be currently, originates from ancient Celtic traditions. It was celebrated in the British Isles as the “night between years,” when the dead walked among mortals. The most important of the four Celtic festivals was a time to take stock of crops before the frost and honor the ancestors. 

Many of our modern Halloween traditions come from old Celtic traditions. The aos sí (ace SHE), fairy-like spirits, were left food and drink outside to avoid their mischief, such as killing livestock during the winter. People went door-to-door in costumes to blend in with the aos sí and collected offerings, a predecessor to trick-or-treating. Rather than pumpkins, turnips were carved with faces to symbolize the spirits crossing over and ward off malevolent ones.

There were several Celtic deities and entities who were and still are associated with Samhain. The Pooka, a shapeshifting Irish figure often depicted as a dark horse with fiery eyes, roamed the countryside, causing mayhem, and was a bringer of both good and bad fortune. Cerridwen, the cauldron-keeper Welsh triple goddess of the underworld, and The Morrigan, the Irish triple goddess of war, death, and fate, were both commonly associated with Samhain due to their associations with the cycles of life, death, and rebirth.

Samhain has become a tradition among modern pagans and is included in the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. The most important of the four greater Sabbats it’s a time to reconnect with ancestors, such as decorating altars with candles and mementos of loved ones who have passed. Divination, a typical ancient Celtic Samhain practice, is also a modern activity. Samhain is also an excellent time for shadow work and exploring your unconscious self.

In modern Wiccan practices, Samhain is associated with the Crone, the final of the Triple Goddesses. She’s one to go to for advice and teaches us that sometimes we need to let go to move on. The God of Samhain, The Horned One, is the animal that dies so we may eat and survive the winter. Gods and Goddesses not from Celtic lore but still associated with Samhain include Persephone, Hades, and Hecate from Hellenic tradition, Anubis and Osiris from Kemetic mythology, and Freya, Hel, and Odin from the Norse path.

Take this time to connect with the past, present, and future as the Wheel of the Year turns once more.

Summary - Reader has landed a research job at a marine biology lab in Portugal. She is, therefore, staying with her sister and her sister's Portuguese boyfriend for the summer holidays. There she meets Ruben Dias who is on vacation with his friends after the 2024 Euros. However, the two meet under the circumstances in which Ruben believes that Reader is a prostitute.

Spot-finned pufferfish were your new favorite animals. Although cute, they were also very lethal, with the power to paralyze bodies ten times their own size. 

You were back at the Zoomarine, in the aquarium tank that hosted over a hundred marine life species, one of them being the spot-finned pufferfish. You were assisting Gavin to check on the lethal sea creatures. He was chasing the fish around the tank, while you documented his findings.

"Bloody bastards."

You had to shield your computer as Gavin emerged out of the water, wearing swimming goggles and a snorkel.

"I take it that they've started to reproduce?" You giggled.

"Damn straight they have, and their kids are all menaces." 

Gavin inspected a gush in his hand. It wasn't a deep cut. However, even the caressing of a pufferfish skin can be dangerous, let alone a bite.

"Here, let me." You said, setting aside your computer, grabbing some gause and a bottle of saline solution.

"At least they seem healthy."

"Well, that's good."

You inspected his hand, his finger to be exact. The cut seemed to have been made by a pufferfish baby, meaning just cleaning the wound would do.

"Perhaps next time you should join me in the tank." He laughed. "You know, help me fend for myself."

"No thank you, I'd rather dive in the ocean. I'm sure it's much cleaner."

"You dive?"

You paused to look at him.

"Like, with a scuba tank?"

You nodded. "Both my sister and I are advanced divers. It's not really a shocker since our dad is a Dive Master."

"That's awesome."

"Thank you." You smiled.

"You know, I have a boat up the coast of Albu—"

"Sorry." You said, the aggressive vibration on your phone having interrupted. Ruben's name had popped up on the screen. A text from him. It made your heart skip a beat considering that the two of you hadn't seen each other for a while because of your job. Ruben, however, made sure to stay in touch.

"Who is that, you're boyfriend?" Gavin eyed your screen.

"Erm….no." He had caught you blushing. You flipped your phone and resumed tending his wound. "It's just a friend." You mumbled. However the awkward silence between you lasted until you left the Zoomarine.

"See you monday, Y/N."

"I'll see you on monday." You waved. Usually Gavin would offer you a ride to the train station, today however, he seemed in a rush to get to his car. He drove off and left you to make your way on foot. This wasn't a problem since today, like most days, was nothing short of a sunshine paradise.

On the train you took the time to reply to Ruben's text messages as there were several of them.

Ruben: "Are you free this weekend? If you are, how about dinner?" 🤔

Ruben: "Or maybe we could just meet up at the beach club again, if that's more convenient for you?"

Ruben: "Tbh, I just wanna see you again." 😅

You grinned at the screen as you typed in your answer. You also couldn't wait to see Ruben this weekend.

A feeling of unease washed over you upon your arrival home. Your sister's car was not in its regular parking spot down the street from your apartment building. She had left early in the morning yesterday, while you were still in bed. She had left without notice, unless you count the post it note she pinned to the refrigerator, reminding you not to piss off the mermaids at work.

Your heart raced as you walked up the path to your front door, the key trembling in your hand. You had tried to brush it off, thinking that Maki was just out with her friends or at the beach. But as the hours ticked by and there was no sign of her, your worry had grown, even more so now as you walked into an empty apartment.

You tried calling her phone, but it went straight to voicemail. You tried texting, but there was no response. And now, returning out of the front door, you could feel a sense of dread creeping over you. What if something has happened?

Your heart kept on pounding as you made your way to Diogo's house, your mind filled with worst-case scenarios. He lived all the way in Albufeira so time couldn't move slow enough as you sat on the train. If only Maki hadn't taken the car.

You had always had your doubts about Diogo, with his rough exterior and his much older age. But Maki had been so taken with him, and you had tried to be supportive. But now, as you stood outside his front door, you couldn't help but wonder if he knew something that you didn't. You took a deep breath and knocked, your heart racing as you waited for an answer. You knew that you had to find out what had happened to your sister, and you were prepared to do whatever it took to bring her home safely.

"Sim?"

You flinched as the door flung open, Diogo occupying its frame. He regarded you with usual mysterio, his expression unreadable.

"Is my sister here?" You said, clenching your purse.

"No." He muttered and almost closed the door on you had you not lunged forward, preventing him. 

"Well, where is she, do you know?"

Diogo regarded you with furrowed brows, not expecting you to speak to him with such command.

"Well?"

"Work." He grunted and once again tried to close the door on you.

"What work?" You said, pushing the door open once more. But this time Diogo had enough and grabbed you by the arm, pulling you inside of his house, shutting the door behind you.

"Why do you ask?" He huffed.

Your head shifted in panic, searching for a way out since Diogo's giant body stood blocking the door. "She's been gone for two days now, haven't you noticed?"

He chuckled, showing off his severely bleached teeth. "Like I said, your sister is at work."

"What work!" You shouted this time.

"Does it matter? All you need to know is that she works for me."

"That's it…." You marched towards the door, even if it meant that you had to push past him. "...If you can't tell me where she is I'm sure the police can help me—"

You gasped as Diogo grabbed you by the arm again, this time slamming your back against the front door. "Não me teste, filha da puta." (Do not test me, bitch) His breath was in your face, the smell of alcohol almost unbearable. 

"Vai-te foder." (go fuck yourself). You spat.

His eyes widened, along with the grip around your arm that loosened. He then reached for something in his back pocket, which you were almost sure to be a knife. However, the screen of his phone lit up his face, as he typed in an unknown number. Soon a female voice sparked through the other end. "Hello, baby?"

Diogo shoved the phone in your hand. "Aqui, fale com ela." (Here, speak to her.)

"M…Maki?"

"Y/N? What are you….is everything okay?"

"Is everything okay?" You frowned. "Where the hell are you, you've been gone for two days without telling me."

"Oh, shit. I'm sorry. I'm at work, I don't have my phone."

"What work?" You asked, since you had always assumed that your sister was unemployed, living off her sugar daddy of a boyfriend.

"I work at the beach club. Didn't Diogo tell you that?"

"He did not." You looked to where he had gone to sit on a sofa in the corner of the room. He looked at you, amused by what he saw.

"Anyway. "Don't worry about me Y/N. I'll be home tomorrow. Love you!" And with that she hung up the phone. There had been loud music playing in the background. Perhaps Diogo had been telling the truth. Your sister worked for him at the beach club.

"Happy now?" He smiled. An oily smile that disgusted you more than anything. 

You were quick to toss him his phone and walk out the door. You rushed down the street, away from the quiet but fancy neighborhood that he lived in. You made it all the way back to the train station. There you dug up your phone and dialed the number of the only person you felt like you could trust in this foreign country that you found yourself in. "Ruben? It's me.....Is there a chance that I can stay with you tonight?"
