The train from Wyndon to Spikemuth was always a quiet ride for Piers; League-related meetings with the former Champion-turned-Chairman were far less painful than they had been back when Rose was in power, but due to Leon's inexperience, they tended to go on far longer than necessary. But that was fine. The man was floundering, and he couldn't blame the guy one bit for struggling.

But that did mean that it was always a mad dash for the station.

Sometimes he made it, sometimes he didn't. Today, he'd made it and had found himself in the last car.

It was mostly empty save for a couple elderly folks who were eyeing him as if he were a common thug what with his leather jacket and piercings, a few university students who were noisily chatting, and a younger looking woman. They were all spaced out enough that it was impossible to have more than a couple seats between him and another person, so it was a choice.

In the end, he chose to sit near the young woman. He still kept a seat between them out of politeness, but she was the only one Piers settled into a seat at the back of the car, slouching in his seat with a heavy, drawn out sigh. "Sorry. If this seat's taken, I'll move elsewhere." He muttered in an exhausted effort to be polite.

Hopefully the woman wasn't a fan. He didn't really have it in him to be friendly. Wordlessly, he pulled his Rotom out from his jacket pocket, slouching in his seat as he sent Marnie a text letting her know he was on his way home, and asking if she wanted him to grab anything from the 24 hour store near their apartment building.

tashi would definitely do it without realizing that it might be kind of erotic to him. like they’re on the courts together, she’s feeding him balls to hit back to her side and knock over the cones, and art waves his hand to halt her for a second as he catches his breath. he has this weird look on his face and he lifts one leg to bend it at the knee, pushing it inwards so that his thigh rubs his crotch. he tries to be subtle about it, but he’s obviously trying to coax a certain type of feeling away.

she gives him a look.

“ten more forehand shots—good ones—and then you can take a break, alright? you’ll be fine, you can handle it.”

and he wants to protest, but for some reason the authoritative tone of her voice and the idea that she’s actively controlling a bodily process of his sends a weird wave of heat thrumming through his gut. his cock actually twitches. it’s weird. it’s hot.

“o-okay..”

so they return back to their places on far opposite ends of the court, and he does as he’s told. he hits back ten balls as she hits them over to him, and every second is more excruciating than the last. and god, does he sprint off that court when it’s over.. rushing to this spot on the outskirts of the outdoor courts, burying himself in a secluded mess of trees and bushes, before he finally grants himself some relief.

Dallon and Breezy have been working on an actual legal version of release that makes sure royalties go to EVERYONE involved in making the album, because he made Violent Things as a solo act under the Brobecks name and HNW was made with the old full band before they broke up.

And, of course, because he knows full well what it's like to have royalties stolen from you. DO. NOT. STREAM. THIS. ALBUM.

I don't know if you accept all kitties or not, but just because I can... This is my little friend, Gesar. About to enter his elderly years, turning 8 or 9 this year (I forgot if he's 2015 or 2016 lol) but he's been with me since he was 3 months old. And he's precious and gentle. Gesar is not a big fan of clothes, but he tolerates it for the sake of warmth. He also loves to sleep next to me as a precious little heater.

hey!!! I love your signal hill, I was wondering about what the map looks like/what are the areas and where they are, related to each other? We've seen the trailer park and the suburbs, and the duplexes, are there others? Sorry lol I'm invested and curious

omg dont apologize i love questions like this!! im a huge nerd abt hood planning so im always happy to talk abt it :D

i used river's bend for signal hill's terrain, i wanted a map that wasn't too big but still had room for expansion/rebuilding later and this one was perfect

so signal hill is broken up into 3 main sections (downtown, the suburbs, and the trailer park), but there are also some zones on the outskirts that have some story behind them too. i tried to keep things structured based on class, kind of like how a real town would be laid out, but i think i still need to work on really defining the areas.

first up, at the eastern entrance of town is this long stretch of road called "signal street". the science lab is the first thing you see when you enter the town from this side. other than the lab, the armstrong family lives here, and there are a few businesses, notably a bowling alley and a restaurant. at the very end of the road, near the entrance to the main town section, there's the town cemetery, fittingly right next door to the local goth bar, and some apartment buildings. this is where aj, mikey, and markus lived, but i'm in round 5 rn so they've since moved around

up from where the science lab is, we've got paradise park, the local trailer park, and the surrounding residential area. this is where the dunn sisters and erik started out living. other notable spots being the dive bar, a diner, a little convenience store, a campground (hood deco), a playground, and an old abandoned shack that the ✨rowdy youths✨ hang out at.

leaving the eastern area of town we've got the town center. lots of hood deco over here but also some functional spots (library, gym, restaurants, nightclub, clothing store, arcade, grocery store, parks, etc). down by the river there's also a retirement community that i haven't had the chance to use yet

and finally, north from the city center are the suburbs. i'm not super happy with how the houses are laid out and they're all random ones i downloaded cuz i just wanted to fill the area lol but i'm sure i'll end up developing this zone as i play more. this is where the lee family, daniel and arhan, and the kirk family live. the second screenshot gives you a decent view of pretty much the whole town.

im very happy with how the hood is turning out :] it's always a wip though, but generally this is how it's probably gonna be structured for as long as i play.

in this au goggles is a demon (from what i've picked up) and in my own fantasy au goggles is an angel so that's kinda funny

kazzie is short, but how short is she in her human form??? do human kids tower over her too???

they sure are short but i wouldn’t say she’s shorter than a child. less ankle bitey and more jump attack face-scratchy, which takes some height. i’d say she’s between 4 and 5ft, like a 12/13 year old or a middle schooler. think dipper or mabel pines

in comparison, ray(/riff? im tempted to change their name) passes as a high schooler while piper is considered tall and howell might be freakishly tall if he isn’t careful

Hello here are some fun Castti headcanons I think about a lot :]

She has eczema on skin that was exposed to the purple rain, but the skin discoloration is purple instead of red.

She continues to have memory issues for basically the rest of her life, but it gets milder. Eg, she might forget the names of the other party members or have no clue where they are.

There's some emotional regulation issues as a result of the purple rain, also made her a bit more blunt.

Anyway. More miscellaneous thoughts :] :]

I really really love her dynamic with Ochette it is the most important thing ever. I think cause of the whole apothecary thing, Castti really really loves taking care of people. When she wakes up in Canalbrine without any memories, I think she'd almost be disappointed when Malaya says she doesn't need any help because she's got nothing to occupy her time with if she can't help other people. Then she meets Ochette and it's perfect cause Ochette needs a lot of help navigating human society.

I think when she's not helping people, Castti is kinda just standing there waiting for something to happen so Ochette tries to find stuff Castti would like so she isn't just standing there. She teaches Castti to identify plants so whenever there's nothing going on, Castti will just go around figuring out what plants are in the area so she can make more medicine :]

I am also so normal about Castti and Osvald's potential dynamic. I think they should've had a crossed paths together. Oguh man. I'm normal about them I swear

Honestly I love your hcs of how the purple rain affected her, with both the physical and emotional trauma of that event combined it'd make sm more sense for it to have more long-term effects on Castti than was shown or implied in canon, and all of these are rly good applications of that! I like to imagine the other travelers would be very patient with her memory and emotional regulation issues (or at least try to be), at first just bcus she's a kind and helpful person to the team, then bcus they grow to like her as a person and friend, and then especially so when they come to understand its cause. Also I think it'd be cool if Castti invented or improved medicated lotion for excema due to her own personal and unique experiences with it, she'd certainly have the medicinal expertise (and I bet Partitio would help spread the word of it and its uses for others it could benefit!)

Ahhh Castti just not knowing what to do when nobody's around for her to help is not only so in character but also pretty relatable to me lol, I can absolutely see that! I love the idea that Ochette would help her out by teaching her how to identify plants too, it's such a sweet Ochette thing to do and would totally be helpful for Castti's work too!

I also love the dynamic between Ochette and Castti, I think it's rly cute and sweet with potential for being funny too!! I regularly think about how it was Ochette who pretty much saved Castti from falling prey to Vide (ik it's supposed to be a Beastling Thing and not an Ochette Thing but I hate how the beastlings are handled and I make my own canon with them specifically. it is an Ochette Thing in my heart <3 )

Also SO TRUE the dynamic between Castti and Osvald is so underexplored and it has sm potential!! I saw you sent an ask about that specifically as well and I'm gonna get right too that, I'm super excited to read it! I adore exploring the relationships between the travelers, the Banters give you a taste but I'm obsessed with character relations of all sorts so it's never enough for me lol
