For Raph, he had a hard time with Savage Raph, immediately following his brother’s kidnapping, but he actively worked to suppress it, so he can take care of the injuries Splinter received about half a year later (the ones from his fight with Saki). It doesn’t really return until post movie, when the whole escape pods thing (not saying who gets taken) and then the Prison Dimension thing (not saying who gets trapped) trigger Raph’s fears of losing his brothers. In season 3 I have big plans for Raph and his issues with being separated from his brothers will be explored. We’ll see Savage Raph making a come back.

Big Mama and Mikey have a very transactional relationship. Mikey knows how she works now, and won’t be fooled by her…often. Though it can still be hard for Mikey to not be fooled.

Splinter and Leo probably have the most tumultuous relationship. It’s neither one’s fault, and when Leo is in his right mind, he’s perfectly polite (if painfully distant) but when his blood rage takes over, he can go into attack mode on a dime, and more often than not, Splinter is his main target, because of all the programming that Saki put him through into hating Splinter.

Draxum will get a big redemption! Donnie will be at the helm of it, but if it were up to Donnie, Draxum wouldn’t even have to do anything 😂. So Mikey will actually play a part and make sure Draxum isn’t falling off the wagon, and not disappointing Donnie. But Drax really does wanna patch up their relationship, so he takes all of the guidance Mikey’s willing to give. Meanwhile, Raph, Leo, Splinter, and Timothy are ready to beat his ass for any missteps.

"Dress up."

Pest and Dante were in their apartment, Pest ran through his blueprints and scribbled down on a small pocket notebook. He ran through his imagination and thought of ideas he could execute at his workshop.

After a while of brainstorming, he leaned backwards on his chair and looked up at the clock above his workdesk, It had been a while since he saw Dante and wondered what he was doing. He got up and looked around the apartment, finding Dante in his bedroom looking at a big pile of clothes on his bed.

"What are you doing?" Pest asked, standing in the doorway. Dante turned around with some clothes in his hand.

"Oh, I was just looking at some clothes I had." He says, a friendly smile playing on his face as he adjusted the glasses on his face.

Pest looks at the big pile of clothes Dante had, wondering how much money the pile itself costed, turning back to him.

"You're being too loud." Pest says, leaning on the doorway.

Dante turns around completly, a small nervous and sorry look on his face. "Oh, I'm sorry...I must've been opening my drawers too much." He apologizes. Turning back to his clothes. "Um, do you want any clothes? I was thinking of giving some away." He adds.

Pest hesitates for a moment, then sighs and walks to the pile of clothes. "Alright...what do you have?" Pest asks, acting like he wasn't interested, however he did kind of enjoy spending time with Dante like this.

"Well, I have a lot of stuff." Dante says, looking at the pile of clothes then back up at Pest. "I can make you an outfit if you don't know what to choose." He adds, a friendly and warm smile on his face.

Pest shrugged, looking to the side and back to the pile, It would be better for Dante to choose so he didn't have to check every single piece of clothing. "Fine, I guess." He says, sitting down on the edge of the bed.

Dante's eyes windened as Pest said yes to his request, getting happy Pest was being more tolerant and warming up to him. Dante starts by picturing Pest's passed outfits and colors he liked, then going through the pile of laundry and picking some clothes out. They occasionally exchanged glances as Dante made sure the clothes he picked would look match Pest's style.

Dante picked out a black gothic leather jacket, and some black pants that matched. Dante offered the clothes to Pest with a smile on his face. "Here's the outfit, I hope you like it." Dante says.

"...Thanks." Pest says and takes the clothes from Dante, looking at the pieces he had picked. He nods, liking the ones he chose for him. His face stays stoic. "They're nice." He adds.

Dante's smile widens, feeling happy he chose a good combination of clothes for him. He adjusts his glasses again before speaking. "You know, some black eyeshadow with the outfit can make it better." Dante says, placing his hands behind his back politely.

"Hm..." Pest responds, getting up from the edge of the bed with his new clothes in hand, looking at Dante. He never really tried makeup before and wasn't someone who really was interested in it.

Dante clears his throat. "Uh...I have some eyeshadow if you want to borrow it. Only if you want to, of course." He says, a bit nervous. Fiddling with his fingers behind his back, making sure he doesn't make him uncomfortable.

Pest looks down at the clothes and back at Dante. "Fine..." Pest sighs. He thought it was a bit pathetic to be enjoying something like dressing up with someone, but its not like he cared much, right?

Dante smiles widely, getting excited that Pest seems to be actually enjoying his company. He watches how Pest leaves the bedroom, and goes to get his makeup pallette with some brushes.

Pest came back, looking and feeling cool in his new outfit. Dante pauses for a moment to admire his work at picking the pieces of clothing. "Looks like I did a good job!" He says chuckling.

"I guess so." Pest responds. He looks at the pallete in Dante's hand.

"Here's the pallette, do you want to...apply it to yourself or do you want help?" Dante asks with a smile on his face, excited.

Pest hesitates for a moment, looking away with his arms crossed, then back and sighs. "I don't know how to apply makeup...Fine, you can help me." Pest says, sitting on Dantes bed once again.

Dante's eyes light up, he'd never been this close to Pest before. Dante sits at a good distance, enough to reach Pests face. "Okay, close your eyes." Dante says, dipping the small makeup brush in a black pigment. He watches how Pest's eyes close, foscuing as he gently brushes the pigment on his face.

Pest feels the light brushes tickling his face, his smaller mandibles clicking softly. Pest opens his eyes, and sees Dante a bit far. "Why are you so far?" Pest says, making Dante a bit nervous.

"Oh...sorry ...I didn't wanna make you too uncomfortable if I was closer." Dante says, scooting a little more towards Pest, their legs brushing against each other lightly, making Dante swallow nervously.

"...Well if you're gonna do a good job, you should get closer." Pest responds, closing his eyes again as Dante contuined brushing around his eyes.

Dante laughs nervously, getting a bit flustered. "Yeah...sorry..." he apologized again.

They both remained silent until Dante finished doing the makeup on Pest's face, showing him the mirror on the eyeshadow pallette so Pest could see his finished look. "...It looks good." Pest says, his face remaining stoic and neutral.

"I'm glad you like it!" Dante says proudly, getting up from the bed and placing the makeup pallette on his desk.

Pest gets up crossing his arms. "Uh...Thanks." He says not knowing really what to say. He had enjoyed the small activity, however he didn't know how to express it properly.

Dante smiles at him friendly, his cheeks bushing lightly. "You're welcome...also..." Dante says, adjusting his glasses. "Um, you look great by the way." Dante added, hoping Pest didn't mind his compliment.

"...Thanks." He says, before leaving Dante's room.

Dante layed on his bed after, sighing and getting back to looking at his clothes, his mind wandering back to how Pest looked in the outfit.

Pest admired Dantes work on his face and decided to get some fresh air outside, having a small walk in his new clothes.

Srry that I haven't posted in a bit, but I got sick lol. It's kinda made me a mindless zombie that only wants to sleep and drink the occasional cup of water (and it doesn't help that the medicine that I'm taking has menthol in it making me wanna die every time I have to take it) but really who cares.

I finished the acrylic painting, added the HUD and used some ink to make some of the piece darker. I'm not happy with it. I feel like if I took more time to make it darker and shaded it more it would've looked better. I don't think the colors look good or the ink wash. Does it feel good? Yes, it does. But really I don't like looking at it.

This dislike has come after the fact that I had an argument about semantics with a friend of mine. I was complaining about some sketches for my next piece not looking good, but I have to remember that it doesn't HAVE to look good. She told me they did, I disagreed, she then said "if you think it looks bad, it looks good. If you think it looks good, it's not."

I'm pretty sure this this when my cold was setting in so I showed her a sketch I did like, and asked for her opinion. With a very silent "choose your next words carefully."

She said that she like some parts of it and j swear to God I almost vaulted over the table to choke her out. Later she said that she does like my art and that she ment that I could get better at anatomy but she feels like what she said about things looking bad when you think they look good applies to her art.

Again I said as politely as my heat ravaged brain could manage, that it didn't come off as nice or as a critic that I wanted as it made me really mad and just saying shit to prove your point doesn't really go over well.

Anyways I'll probably remove this part later when I realize that ranting about my friends on my art account isn't the best idea ^^

Gosh, waaaaay back when I heard Biden was going to run for a second term I just groaned. Because I thought he won the first time on a fluke - people were sick of Trump and wanted him out anyway they could. But it's been four years, Biden wasn't popular, and memory of what Trump's presidency was like fades. I was so annoyed they went with Biden. He was the "safe" bet but only for the very stupid reason that the democrats couldn't come up with anyone else.

I wanted a fresh candidate with a good track record instead. A good MALE candidate. I 100% believe in a female president. But I also never believed that a female candidate could beat Trump. Trump is the hero of anyone who grew up in the 60s/70s. He embodies that stinking old persona of the man who is what he is, does what he wants, and gets it all because of that. All those Boomers longing for the "good old days" key into that stupidity masquerading a simplicity and bravado masquerading as courage. You can believe whatever you want if you ignore facts and hate the other guy enough.

So when the democrats said they were switching to Harris, I said to my coworkers she wouldn't win. They protested. My mom protested. I wanted to believe she'd win but I just could not see it. A female, non-white president, showing up in the finale? If the democrats could have won purely on Trump hate like they did last time, they never would have pulled Biden. They would not have needed to. But they knew it was about more than just hating Trump. They did have to show they could do things differently. So they... picked the unpopular president's VP... a woman. I would say for a woman, let alone a woman of color, to win the presidency in the US, it would take decades of build up. I mean just look at Hilary Clinton, she nearly had it, but even she lost in the end. I don't think she lost because she's a woman, I think she lost because too many Americans were fed up with the political song and dance, and that year they saw Trump as being Not That at least.

The point is that Hilary Clinton had years of build up. Years of support. Kamala Harris just appeared in people's notice under Biden. Like a lot of VPs, what she was up to in that role was usually not big news. She needed at least the full four years of build-up to make her a strong enough candidate. At the very least, she should have been chosen via the primary. They should not have shoehorned in a woman of color as a candidate so late in the game. They threw her in at a disadvantage when she was already at a disadvantage. I do think she could have won! ... Against Al Gore or something. But Trump??

Despite blabbing more than a stereotypical high school girl in a teen romcom, Trump is the standard candidate. A rich white man who talks big. That's familiar; that's what a lot of Americans have been programmed to believe is "strength." It's all fake of course. But that doesn't matter. And we all should have learned that last time. That's how Trump won: "I'm the guy that all men around my age believe they could have been." Straight-talking, not fussy, untouchable by the law, walks away from a gun fight. To his supports he looks so damn cool.

Like I imagine you don't know how to start a fire, hunt, etc etc. When Eivor met you, however, you could command a room and figure out a war strategy through information alone, so she assumed stuff like this would be the basics for you.

So when she tells you to make a fire while she goes out to hunt, comes back and you're tirelessly trying to do it and so frustrated you can't? It's like a break in character in you to her.

Maybe you come off as cold. Calculating. You make the hard decisions and don't seem to let emotions control you. However, Eivor soon learns that's just how you are to deal with all the aldermen constantly at your throat

In reality, you're pretty open to learning more skills, understanding her culture, and who she is. Eivor teaches you how to start a fire, to hunt, hell even to ride (let's say you had to escape in a rush and left on one horse)

You on the other hand, have never picked up a sword in your life, and yet your circumstances have forced you to become more heartless than she could ever be.

Eivor would reach for you then, cup your cheeks in a way you'd never experienced before. Softly as if you would break. Firmly as if she feared you would slip through the cracks of her hands.

Looking into your eyes, Eivor speaks slowly, whispering like any louder would make the words grow sharp against your ears:

"Lady...if I had been there, I would have protected you."

You stared up into the frost of her eyes, mind muddled with confusion. You didn't know why she said that to you, or why it was with such conviction. You didn't need her pity. You were a ruler, one who led her people with strength and virtue. Perhaps you were in a predicament now, but that did not mean anything had changed.

"...Thank you. It is a, um, a comfort to know." You treaded lightly with your words. Eivor caught the habit immediately.

"We are not within the walls of your kingdom. There is no one here to hear us." When you tried to look down, she didn't allow you, coarse skin gingerly keeping your head tilted towards her. The care in her eyes was heavy. It settled over your heart and squeezed out an old warmth. You tried to hold it in with a shaky breath.

"I am well aware. Still, I do not understand what you want me to say–" Your cheeks were abruptly squished together, head jerked closer towards Eivor's own. Suddenly, all you could process was blue irises contrasting the night sky, twinkling just as the stars did. Eivor carefully ground out each of her words for your to process

"If it were me. Lady." No. No, no, no–I do not wish to hear it! Frantically, you shook your head while she spoke. You feared it would cause you to come undone, yet Eivor pressed on anyway.

"I would have done everything. No matter the cost, no matter the sacrifice. No task would have proven too much to bear in order to protect you." The tears built up in the corner of your eyes. You held the droplets in until you shut them, running down you face as Eivor quietly whispered.

"Becuase you are precious, lady."
