The Kalka to Shimla Railway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that connects the Indian plains to the ‘Queen of Hills,’ Shimla. Built in 1903, this toy train ride is one of India’s most incredible feats of engineering covering a staggering 102 tunnels, 864 bridges, and 919 stunning curves.

The journey was carved through the abundance of nature in Himachal Pradesh during British rule. The Kalka Shimla Toy train is bound to take you back to a completely different era in history and through one of the most scenic railway journeys in India. It’s known for its dramatic views of the hills and surrounding villages.

Abbey Falls, also known as Abbi Falls, is located around 10 kilometers away from the town of Madikeri, Coorg, Karnataka and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in and around Coorg. The water cascade coming down from the cliff from a height of 70 feet provides a spectacular scene to behold.

Dandeli is a town in the western Indian state of Karnataka. It is the second largest wildlife sanctuary in Karnataka. It offers a scenic getaway for both nature lovers and adventure freaks. I like the beauty of terraced farm field, which is located just few km away from Dandeli city.

In this shot, I aimed to capture the peaceful coexistence of nature and urban life. The bridge over the Ganga in Haridwar serves as a central element, connecting the vibrant movement of vehicles with the vast, tranquil expanse of trees and open fields beyond. The soft, hazy blue in the background adds a dreamlike quality, while the sunlight reflecting off the river gives the scene a warm, golden glow.
