Stuck on You

Realitytugged at Bucky’s sleep addled brain. After days of no rest and a hunt forHydra agents that had been more mind-numbing than action-packed, the cot inTony’s lab was a warm and welcoming cloud of perfection. He didn’t want to wake—not evenwhen a voice in the back of his head, that sounded reminiscent of his mother,scolded him for wasting the day.

The soft sounds of the lab atrest relaxed him. He listened for the sounds of his boyfriend Tony shufflingaround and his breathing, but the lab was devoid of Tony’s presence.

He must have conked out for hoursif Tony had finished up.

Bucky grumbled into the pillow.He had to get up now.Tony didn’t mind Bucky sleeping in his lab when he wasn’tthere, but Bucky rather not do so. He’d spent enough time in labs throughouthis life; the only reason why he hung out in Tony’s was because he knew thatfor Tony the lab was his playroom and sanctuary, and Bucky wanted to be a partof that.

Bucky started to roll over ontohis left side and push himself off the cot, but stopped himself.

He plopped his metal arm acrosshis chest. His flesh hand roamed the metal panels until his fingers brushedsomething plastic and light that did not belong on his arm.

Bucky smiled to himself.

For two months Tony had taken toleaving notes and magnets on his arm whenever he napped. Sometimes the noteswere about  mundane things, sometimes it was Tony asking him out, andother times there was no note and just a magnet. Tony had especially taken aliking to putting raccoon themed magnets on Bucky.

Tony said Bucky reminded him of araccoon. Bucky didn’t see how, but as long as Tony was happy, he didn’t mindthe comparison.

Sometimes when Tony left onlymagnets on Bucky’s arm the magnets were crass and selected to make Bucky laugh.

As Bucky traced the magnets onhis arm, he didn’t come across any paper. The magnets felt like letters though.

Careful not to knock the magnetsoff his arm, Bucky eased himself upright.

Surprise pinched his heart.Delight then sent the organ fluttering.

Footsteps and the smell ofChinese food approached the lab’s entrance.

“So sleeping beauty is finallyawake.” Tony adjusted his hold on the bag of Chinese takeout as he approachedone of the cleared lab tables. He set the bag down with a grunt. “I hope youknow how hard I fought to get this food to you. Thor and Steve trailed me likebloodhounds. I had to sacrifice the wantons to get to you, and don’t get mestarted about Clint.”

Bucky pushed himself off the cot.

Tony rambled on about his epicfight to keep the rest of the team from absconding with the food as he pulledout container after container of takeout.

Bucky stood behind Tony. Hewrapped his arms around Tony’s shoulders. Bucky breathed in the sharp scent ofTony’s cologne and felt Tony’s warmth through the leather jacket he wore.

Bucky angled his arm so Tonycould see the rainbow of alphabet magnets on his arm. “What’s this?”

Tony leaned into Bucky. “Lookslike someone’s been playing with kids. I know they can be scary, but you needto stand up for yourself. I can call their mothers if you feel you can’t.”

“Tony,” Bucky added a bit ofgrowl to his voice. He pressed a hard kiss to the edge of Tony’s jaw.

“Oh! Can you not read it? I’msorry. I thought that you knew. We will have to get you enrolled in school.”

“Asshole.” Bucky squeezed Tony.He kissed Tony’s jaw again, softer. “I love you too.”

Tony traced the L in the phrase“I love you” spelled out on Bucky’s arm.

Tony craned his head around toget a look at Bucky.

Bucky smiled.

Tony reached up to touch the backof Bucky’s head and guide him into a kiss.

What show is this?

It's Shameless-the first 7 seasons are available on Netflix, but after Season 5 the show really sucks. On YouTube you can find 2 excellent compilation videos for "All Gallavich scenes"-you might want to at least start there, and then if the stories are drawing you in, you could switch over to the full episodes. My irl friend didn't start watching Shameless until a couple years ago and she told me she expected Ian and Mickey (the guys in the gifs) to be a bigger part of the show since they're all I talked about when I was telling her she should watch. They never got as much screentime as other characters, but they had the best story.

This is from my upcoming “Avenging in Tiny Packages”  contest entry - I want to keep a bit of mystery about it, so one character name is redacted:  

Rogers and Barnes had taken seats furthest from the cockpit, coincidentally within easy reach of the weapons locker.  Again, major trust issues.  Tony, on the other hand, opted for the co-pilot seat. He preferred to keep a close eye on their unexpected ally, as well as their progress.  As T’Challa walked [redacted] through setting a course for Wakanda, Tony kept an eye on Friday’s progress.  He’d given his AI  an additional command using Morse code within the gauntlet: to compile a dossier on [redacted] for later review.

But hear me out: when Tony finds out about how Shuri healed Ross he moves hell, heaven and earth to get there and downright begs Shuri to take in Rhodey as a patient because she’s clearly the best and he’ll sell his soul if it means healing his best friend but then Shuri just smiles and says ‘sure!’ and he bursts into tears right there in her lab.

The Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl spot on Sunday night had fans questioning some shots in the 30-seconds of new footage, whether if a character was edited out as to not give away any spoilers.

The curiosity arose in regards to two main shots, which appear to have awkward gaps between the characters.
