I’m in a “kid friendly” production of Be More Chill and one of the line changes is going from “what did we say about masturbating?” to “what did we say about watching movies?” (In reference to the More Than Survive change from porno to movie)

and I like to imagine that means that Jeremy’s movie taste is so horrific and god-awful that even his Squip is extremely disappointed and believes that they’re just THAT uncool.

At the hospital, he secretly threw away the hospital food and ordered delivery instead.

Christine always wears an excessive amount of hair accessories.

She collects barrettes and pins. Her pins are all theatre references.

She breaks the fourth wall by having a BMC pin.

She will slap you hard if you say the name of the Scottish Play [even outside the theatre].

She watches OSP [Overly Sarcastic Productions].

The only reason I’m including Jenna is because, apparently, in the book, the character we know in the musical as Madeleine is Jenna’s alter ego…and we never actually see Madeleine on stage. So I NEED HER to be Jenna pls

Michael has a gaming YouTube channel. A headphone company sponsored him once. Now he has headphones.

Not only does he listen to reggae, he also likes alternative rock.

He hyperfixates over songs and bands for days on end and rants to Jeremy about them.

Brooke has social anxiety. Chloe helps her work through it.

Trans Rich Goranski is my favorite headcanon because that means that the Squip was biphobic but not transphobic, which is so funny to me. It’s so contradictory.

u know how game characters sway to the side or smth when they're standing still? or they have idle animations? I was thinking maybe that could be used in the Squip to make some of its actions mistakes or habits.

like breathing! the visualization aesthetic is rooted so deeply and used so often that it's engrained itself into the Squip's code deeper than active computer analysis or whatever

its like how our neural networks get stronger the more we use it

and if that head cannon is true, then basically we could split the Squip's brain into a conscious and subconscious space, like humans.

consciously, it is still neutral. analytical. deliberate. intentional. whatever

subconsciously, its been programmed to act human

and the problem with the code being so deeply engrained, just like any habits, it would be difficult for a Squip to alter

so lets say a Squip, like Jeremy's, sees its host and starts out angry, demanding, controlling (because it creates the perfect personality to create the optimum results). since it uses these personality types since its birth or whatever, they have to be deeply engrained into its code, making it subconscious behavior. also making personality change difficult, or requiring effort. and this definitely seems more human.

in other words, the Squip is speed-running toddler development in order to perfectly match itself to its owner.

and going back to the mention that its programmed to act human, if their programs on acting human have been burned so deep in its code that they can't be turned off, its basically just another way to make human instincts. we can't control whether we can blink when we sneeze. or if we're scared of heights

Guys, what if Jeremy has always been super insecure about his glasses, so he would often just take them off pre SQUIP because he thinks he looks more like a loser with his glasses? But he also looks more like an idiot without them, because he's way more clumsy without them. And when he gets the SQUIP it tries to get Jeremy to just wear his glasses, because there's nothing wrong with wearing them and a lot of people have them, but what might actually effect Jeremy's popularity are all his insecurities, because the others might pick up on that. Don't get me wrong the SQUIP is still terrible, but I think this is a much more interesting storyline than just removing his glasses.

Fanfics about Rich's tattoos. Drawings of Rich's tattoos. Are they real or does he draw them on? What are they of? Does he get some redone after the fire (I'm assuming most were ruined by the burns)? Does Jake help pick them out? Are they meaningful or is he one of those people that tattoos memes all over his body for no reason? Are they words or designs? Small or extravagant? Colored? I obviously do not care what they looked like in canon. I want the fandom to make a detailed exhibit of what they are because. fandom shit is better than canon. I want an entire subsection of tumblr dedicated to this cause. I need it.
