i just watched season two of iwtv

i know the “war-poisoned blood” thing is meant to be a mystical sort of metaphorical thing where the misery and hopelessness of the people sinks in so deep it even taints their blood

but also it kinda just sounds like lead poisoning. maybe from all the fancy new munitions being manufactured en masse for the war.

this is a drawing i made after a particularly vivid dream years ago. there was a kind of neopet called a Slime and a new color was released that was exclusive to slimes called Halloween Red, and this was the halloween red slime

every time someone yoinks the apparatus in lethal company and everyone gets the radiation warning it makes me so insane because like.

70 mSv means 70 millisieverts

a sievert is a measurement of dose in radiation, but there’s nothing here to indicate the rate of the dose. is it 70 mSv per second? per hour?? per year???

like in any case it’s Bad because the annual whole body dose limit for radiation workers (in the US) is 50 mSv, but it’s on a sliding scale that has ends like

-(per year) definitely not good but you may still not end up getting cancer from this later in life

to

-(per second) you will be dead in 30 minutes

okay? so make three settings?

1) tumblr live fully on

2) tumblr live partially on (“snoozed” but with the icon remaining in the navbar)

3) tumblr live fully off

now everyone’s happy. yay!

…unless you actually have some other motivation to keep pushing live on a userbase that has universally rejected and criticized this feature? but i’m sure that’s not it. certainly not.

not sure what happened but i have live snoozed and it used to prevent it from showing up in the bottom navigation bar on mobile (ios)

but it has since stopped doing that so now even with live snoozed it’s still there, and i would like it to Not Be

it’s not on my dash at least but i don’t want it on the navigation bar either

As you might have noticed, there have been some updates to how snoozing Tumblr Live works. Snoozing will continue to hide Live from your dashboard, but the navigation icon will remain in your navigation bar.

This means you’ll be able to watch anyone you follow go Live without having to unsnooze the whole thing! Additionally, we’ve increased the snooze period from 7 to 30 days.
