Hi! This is my first time posting on tumbler. I’ve been wanting to open a tumbler for a while but didn’t know what to post. So this is my first ever post of a drawing I’ve done in the past if this seems familiar I took inspiration form a comic I saw in passing of “Steven universe gone wrong” by spudinacup I believe? If the comic was done by someone else please let me know! But I loved the pose of their pearl so I took inspiration from them. I hope you like it!

The future.

Hey y'all, mod Hayden here. I wanted to post an update on where things are now, and what will be happening moving forward. (Don't worry, we aren't giving up on the AU just yet!)

Going to put the rest of this under a "Read more" so this doesn't take up half of your dashes.

So, as I said above, we aren't giving up on the AU yet! The past 3ish years have been... Hectic to say the least. For both mod Eden and I. I won't go into details, but its definitely been one hell of a ride. As of right now, we still aren't in a spot where we can keep working on the comic just yet.

HOWEVER

We are getting closer! Though, there is no exact date on things yet, so please do not hound any of the mods about it. There are still things going on. Anyway, we want to thank you all so much for sticking around. Our ask box has been quite full for a while, and I've decided to address that. There have been plenty of questions revolving around things that may or may not happen later in the story, so if we haven't answered your ask, don't worry! Its most likely spoilers :)

As for all of the kind messages we've been getting, we've put something together to address all of those.....

We want to thank everyone who has ever sent these kind messages (and apologize if yours isn't on here. Like I said, the ask box is incredibly full, but I did my best to track all of them down.)

There are some however that stuck out to me that I'd like to address individually, however I am also going to do that in this post as well for ease of access.

For starters....

Thank you so much! However, all of the art posted thus far has belonged to mode Eden. Mod Hayden hasn't done any of that.

Ikr?! When mod Eden first showed me the design concept, I was immediately in love!

....yeah. (Mod Hayden legitimately laughed when they saw this, so I decided it needed to be included.)

I still smile every time I see this. @spudinacup (sorry for the tag, but I think you should see this) is one of if not the biggest SU AU creators out there. I can't speak for mod Eden, however you were and still are a huge inspiration to mod Hayden. Kind of what got them to take the jump into helping with this AU. As for your current situation, I sincerely hope things get better for you. Just know there's at least one person who would be there if you ever decide to return :)

All in all, we just want to give a massive thank you to all of the fans of this AU, whether you stuck around or not. If you didn't stick around however, but you end up seeing this post anyway....

Have you seen other SU AU fan comics like SU AU Gone Wrong or SU: Movie Alternate Cut?

YESSSS I am a VERY big fan of SU AU Gone Wrong!!! That comic is actually one of the main reasons I started Partners In Crime, and I wholeheartedly admit that a lot of Chapter 1 was inspired by the beginning of that comic ^^ During the part of PIC Chapter 1 when Steven was still unconscious, all of my reference pictures for backgrounds and colour came from the movie, but some pose refs and overall placement of subjects were very much inspired from Spudinacup's comic!!!

(If Spud ever read PIC i would probably have a heart attack... she's been such a huge inspiration to me and I have a lot to thank her for ^^ I really hope she's doing okay... I think about her a lot)

As for the other comic you've mentioned, I don't actually believe I know that one!!! I'll be sure to check it out though!!! Thanks so much for your recommendation!!! :D :D

Hello, this is Jirachi and this is the last thing I wanted to be posting.

Please do not keep reading if you need to take a break from this.

I never wanted all this to be public and it never should have been.

I first drew the concepts back in July 2020 and didn’t think about the possible issues that might have arisen with using one of the rejected designs. However, I want to make it clear that it wasn’t used out of malice, or intentionally used as a way to attack spudinacup. There was miscommunication on what was given and agreed on, and this was our first time doing this type of commission.

I am taking the charm down not as an admission of guilt, but because I want to end all this unnecessary drama. It has hurt far more people than just myself. I'll be creating something different and setting up another preorder sometime soon. Those that have preordered have already received full refunds.

My Inverted comic will still be posting every Saturday on here and Patreon. Thank you again to my friends and fans who have stood by and supported me through this. I love and appreciate you all. Please take care of yourself first.

so the other day i was thinking about that one “trope” done in a lot of fancy illustrative works that are depicted with a character interacting very affectionately with a skeleton and/or a lifeless corpse, wether it be dancing, hugging or kissing it gently, and that concept has always captivated me. 

so i got to thinking, “what specific au do i know of that i could possibly bring that concept to life through?”

and then i remembered...

I understand why so many people seem to characterize steven's body and steven's gem as essentially different people when seperated - its a difficult thing to wrap your head around and it's easier to just give them complete personhood on their own for drama/conflict purposes. But BOY howdy is it a desert out there for fan content that really hits the nail on the head when it comes to the fact that a seperated steven is quite literally two halves of a whole person. Really gotta build my own steven sandwich to satiate my hunger
