Got commissioned by @springinthesky to do what is probably my favorite emote commission I've ever done in the history of my art career

My friend Crepe (@springinthesky) used sorXa as the basis for an alternate palette of a character that she's making who has long hair, and I loved how it looked so much that it inspired me to finally draw a long-haired sorXa like I've been meaning to for the past few months :^)

Edit: Went back and fixed a few coloring errors, and made a few other adjustments that I think look better (original version under the cut, for posteriority's sake:)

do you have any thoughts about jumping being one of the staple player actions in wider game design

We jump in games for the same reason we crawl through vents and sewers. At a base level it is pleasurable to relish in that which is denied us by normalcy. We are surrounded by little worlds we could explore if only we'd allow ourselves foolishness (and abolish property law I guess).

Crates are big and square. They are for climbing. They hold something. I will break them open. This is the pleasurable alternative to going and asking the manager what the crates are for and what's inside.

Or, alternatively: Jumping is the method of vertical movement that people often feel most entitled to and it's more interesting when games have multiple planes to explore. There have also been a LOT of games about jumping so it's a mechanic that is pretty easy to get right.

I will not return to Gaza and my destroyed home anytime soon, as I do not own a car and have no one to take me. Therefore, my children and I will remain in the abandoned school, bidding farewell to everyone and watching their joy as they return.

How will I return with my belongings?

My home was completely destroyed, and I have no means of transportation. If I must return on foot, how can I leave behind my children's blankets, sleeping mats, and everything we own?

Frustration consumes me.

I don’t know what I will do on the day of return. It is exhausting and deeply worrying for me and my children.

My campaign is completely halted.

I am considering closing it, but I hope to reach 80,000 to manage my affairs. I want to travel, as I no longer have a home to return to, nor an education to secure my children’s future.
