Spring has just around the corner.

The sunlight has started to reach my studio. It is proof that the sun is getting higher. I love my house & studio surrounded by trees.

Accordingly, I feel like creating with spring-like colors. There are a lot of color varietions of plaid patterns in Japan. I made these from old Japanese fabrics.

There are This white cloth is made by a weaving technique called shijira-ori. It is wavy and used mainly for summer kimonos.

I recently gave a workshop on visible mending. I will have two more workshops this month. I will report on them in the next issue. See you soon!

Pleasantly present-

I find myself up before the sun breaks

Happy to be semi sleepy eyed setting up the morning routine

Shutting off my alarm 1 hour earlier than expected

Just to enjoy what refreshed spring day has brought

Do the minor chores to move them off your plate without much procrastinative drag

Coffee is done by 6:33 when the golden light rays burst through my living room

Shabby Chic apartment, I've never been so happy to be here

If you could have seen me 5-10 years prior

Eager to enjoy the ride to the Art Center

Righting wrongs never felt so freeing

I have always been the type to shove head phones in

Wear a semi tuned out face that says, "don't fuck with me"

I find myself opening the grand doors to light airy keys of the piano class preforming Chopin

I pull the head phones off as I walk along the floating music notes

With every step up the stairs way I dance

My fingers lightly touch the railing to each key stroke as I mentally play with them

My eyes wander child like to the ever changing displays of apprenticeship

Crafters soon to be masters

People pass smiles returned with smiles

Maybe it's not just me feeling this way

Maybe it's just Springs' energetic pull to happiness

But I've never felt more pleasant to be so present

Well Done:

I wanted to roller skate and so I did. Such a joy of fresh pavement, new music and smooth speed. Learning to make life enjoyable)

ACA meeting: listened attentively, made notes and frankly amazed at the same harmful ideas our predecessors transferred to us.

To better:

Nothing specific today but general: make notes, meditate.

Still struggling with longing for close connections: go out of isolation.

Delights:

Roller skating with “The Last Shadow Puppets” music, sun and empty quay.

Omelette with mustard.

Very short German lesson.

Human Value:

Everyone should have simple delightful days under peaceful sky with beautiful music, tasty bubble tea, funny sitcoms and opportunity to share problems of mental health and dysfunction family.
