So many challenges on this internet & #TheKindnessChallenge hasn’t been one to make it to the top? There’s a song by Marvin Gaye called “Save the Children”, it starts by saying: “Who really cares to save a world in despair? There will come a time, where the world won’t be signing, flowers won’t grow ...” so many of you are caught up in this world of limbo (internet), where it’s more important to remember to put on makeup daily for a selfie or your money to be right for the weekend, to pop enough bottles. Keeping the “likes” up or being selfish to satisfy YOUR own ego. It takes one big tragedy for us to be in union of prayer but it only last Max 72 hours (I’m still praying for Mexico & Puerto Rico, are you?) Before you know it you’re back to critiquing, whether verbally or consciously, people you don’t even know. Judging them & their current lives because of things you don’t like & they can’t change. We spread hate by choice and it’s the same way we can stop it. There’s a serious problem in this country and if we don’t start addressing it by changing our attitude we’re destroying the future for our children. I'm a victim. A victim of lies, unfairness, disloyalty and of being a good person. We all are. All my life I've placed others before myself out of the goodness of my heart. I've lived my days trying to help those in need of a smile, a hug, a laugh & at times when I could with money. A few years ago I sent $300 that I needed, to Florida to a girl in I never met because she was about to lose her home. You don't get rewarded for being a good person nor do you get rewarded for being a bad person. However this world has learned to recognize pettiness, selfishness & disloyalty over selflessness, honesty & love. Bad things happen to good people, this isn't a perfect world but that doesn't mean it's permanent and that it should be a reason to change one's good heart. It also doesn't mean we good people should walk around with our heads down & take the beaten of cruel words & lies, instead we should embrace them with pride because good will always be loved and LOVE kills everything. So to the bad people in this world with malice in your hearts, keep your lies to yourself and learn to practice silence. It's better to conquer oneself than to win a thousand battles. Don't let anyone lie to you about being too good. Stand up for your heart & yourself.
