something thats been itching my brain so i decided to tell you.
homelander with a partner thats just as intense as he is, we know man gets jealous, (baby teddy anyone) so him with a partner that gets equally as jealous? or even better equally as violent as him? , how would he be in that kindve relationship.
i read somewhere that he was like a black hole sucking in everything he could get, so how about him with a partner that is just the same?
yesssss YESSSS i really love stories where the leads are equally insane, equally possessive, and equally consumptive of the other. matching Homelander's energy would cause him to escalate. make him think he's not wrong for the intensity of his love, or the twisted ways he expresses it.
he would fall deeper in love. someone who understands him, who expresses themselves like he does, who gets insane and protective and vicious over the taste of his love. Homelander's not someone who's used to being pursued, who's attention is coveted to the same level by the same people he covets. that's like catnip to him.
i've been noodling on a sequel for Don't Fret, Precious ( I'm Here ) for a long time since, spoiler alert, the reader is lowkey just as off their rocker as he is. that whole fic is sort of them slowly learning the depths of the other, and how saturated in blood BOTH of their hands really are.
i think a follow-up where they explore that together, and they're both less afraid to be insane with each other, would be a ton of fun. i've been itching to write a yandere x yandere type fic for ages, and i think that fic really laid the perfect groundwork for something like that lol

More headcanons about SUNBOMB. :333 (Leo x Will.)
Leo loves to flirt with Will and crack dirty jokes out of nowhere. Like they can be walking in the woods. (Not past the borders.) And Leo just charismatically crack a flirty joke at Will and Will might jump blushing - looking like he got sunburned for the first time.
Will always worries for the son of Hephaestus, and normally scolds him for his recklessness. Everytime he gets hurt.
They both love the heat and absolutely hate the fucking cold. (Cuddles all day, during winter.)
Will does love the affectionate hugs, Leo gives during winter because Leo's body heat gives him warmth and Will normally clings onto him like a cat. :3
(TW - S3LFH@RM MENTIONED.) Will helps Leo with his urges to self harm himself, and would heals his self-inflicted scars. He makes sure he stops working in the workshop and stays at Will's bed, or in the infirmary as Will watches over him. He definitely praises him for trying staying clean for longer periods and tries to encourage him to continue staying clean for longer periods.
Leo helps Will with his insecurities by praising him and reassuring him that he doesn't need to be good in anything else. Just to feel useful, and while Will helps him with his insecurity of not being enough for Will. And reassuring him that he loves him sm, he can't even bring himself to leave him.
Both have bracelets that represent each other. A sun pendant bracelet for Leo and a fire pendant bracelet for Will.
Will definitely has thought many times of putting Leo on a leash.
Will's love language is physical affection and words of affirmation, and Leo's love language is quality time and also physical affection. Both provide those things for the both of them as much as they need. And they always end up loving each other due to that.
Will has inherited his father's artistic abilities to make something and creates a little Festus plushie out of crochet. And Leo makes a dagger with the cabin 7's emblem of the sun. And they both hand it to each other on their anniversary and have a laughing fit. (Leo sleeps with the plushie all the time, and Will carries that dagger with him everywhere.)
The sun and fire pendant bracelets has some kind of connection with each other. Both can detect if their owner is in danger and sends that signal to it's partner. (The other bracelet.) And it's owner will get the signal due to the little pendant glowing. And due to that reason, whenever Leo goes on a quest with the seven Will always has his bracelet glowing and he's always incredibly anxious, everytime and at this point might die from a heart attack. (He doesn't, though. :3)
They both agree that the new star wars movies are ass and that they've become bland and don't follow the cool lore anymore. Will especially might riot because of it.
Both love kissing each other as a greeting of some sort.
Always is touching each other. (Not sexually, they're minors.) Like holding hands, or the other is clinging onto the other, and the other has an iron grip on their arm.
(SPOILER ALERT‼️) Will always has flashbacks of Leo exploding when he witnesses or hears an explosion somewhere.
When Leo finds himself at Calypso's island. He's either extremely glad that he's alive. And also extremely panicked that he's far away from any one else. And his hands starts to shake with the urge of wanting Will near him.
Leo just pops by in the infirmary and sits around anywhere and it's claimed as his. And it's always near Will whenever he's working.
Both has urges to protect one another when monsters attack. Like the first thing they look for is each other. (Probably it's because Will knows he can get himself in trouble, and Leo just knows Will CANNOT fight a monster.)
Calls Will, "Rapps." Or "Rapunzel." When he found out about Will's ability to glow.
Loves calling Leo, "Lee." because it's his brother's name, and Lee adorably suits him somehow.
Leo is convinced that he has pulled a living Disney Princess, when he finds Will with a bunch of animals. Surrrounding him. Like bro has horses, chipmunks, mice, squirrels, snakes, doves, crows, butterflies, bunnies, following him. (The animals feel safe with Will cause he doesn't look intimidating at all.)
Will loves dogs, and Leo definitely does like cats. Their loves for a specific animals suits their partners somehow.
Leo made a celestial bronze shotgun, with celestial bronze bullets for Will when he finds out Will got himself in a very dangerous situation with a monster. (Will has that shvt right next to his bed, just in case.)
Everytime there's a fight, and someone needs to break it out. William will use the opportunity to use his shotgun as a way to break fights. Leo is absolutely smitten and proud of that.
Leo definitely had thought of trying to court Will multiple times. But on the first try of ACTUAL doing so, he already got Will confessing that he had liked him the time he arrived at Camp. (It boosted Leo's ego.)
There is a reason why most people don't bully Will or Leo. Like some son of Ares of a bitch. Walks up to either of them and starts to bully them. One alternate ending is them getting burned at the stake. And the other is a gun to the leg. If both are bullied at the same time. One will walk away, while the other almost starts a forest fire.
Everytime they are allowed to leave camp, Leo takes Will to go and steal something. Will is against the idea but cannot bear to deny him everytime Leo pulls out his puppy dog eyes card and so always ends up going back to Chiron with a new S.W.A.T team after them. (Will likes the thrill of being chased some how.)
Both CANNOT stay in a serious situation without the other cracking each other up with a joke.
At Will's breaks in the infirmary he always visits Leo in the workshop and hangs around him, or either clinging onto each other because they're both eachother's charging port or energy booster. If you visit Leo in the workshop while Will's on break. You'll find Will asleep in Leo's lap while Leo works on something.
Leo and Will as much as possible tries to get the other to stop working as much, and would normally use the kissing tactic to distract them from overworking. (It always works, and Leo normally does this when he wants Will near him.)
Will is at first okay, when he finds Leo at camp. But after like the second day of Leo being at camp he finds himself smitten. (He has his father's tendencies to fall in love with people all the time.) Leo finds out that he's fallen in love with Will, and he's down BAD.
They both love You Belong With Me. by Taylor Swift.
Both allow each other to be themselves more freely. (Both are insane at some point, and they approve of it.)
When both they decide to fuck around and find out. (Or do something stupid.) It's normally at the same time. And they both share the same ideas.
Will: "Do you wanna blow something up?"
Leo: "Hell yeah, I already know who to blow up."
Both will go ballistic if the other dies. (One might start to set the world ablaze the other might have people dropping dead.)
They surprisingly work well together, than most people think.
Both atleast has eachother's clothes at some point mixed in their closets\drawers.
Leo definitely wouldn't trade Will for the world and Will would go to the underworld and back for Leo.
The Aphrodite campers were definitely pitying Leo everytime he brought up himself being the seventh wheel, so they shoved Will into his life at some point.
That's all my headcanons for them. :3 lemme know what you think and add more headcanons for them in the comments if you please I would love that. This ship is growing on me and I love it. 😭😍‼️😭😭😭

20 Questions for Fic Writers Podficcers Apparently
Tagged by @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels because she thinks she's funny. Spoiler alert, she is. <3
How many works do you have on ao3?
I have 111 atm which is such an amazing number. Look at the ones!
What's your total Ao3 word count?
80,874
What fandoms do you write podfic for?
Mostly 9-1-1, but I've dabbled in Lone Star. I also have a podfic each for both One Piece and BG3. Before I got to 9-1-1, I mainly podficced for The Magnificent Seven: 2016.
Top 5 Podfics Fics by Kudos:
[Podfic] come on, come on (turn a little faster) - My One Piece podfic leads the way! It was written by @kenbunshokus. <3
[Podfic] Leading with the Left - I'm sure you're all SHOCKED to see this one on here. @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels killed us all with this masterpiece.
[Podfic] I Hate Accidents (Except When We Went From Friends to This) - @morganofthefairies gave us oblivious idiots, and I gave you all a podfic. <3
[Podfic] Love in the Time of TikTok - This one was written by @buckttommy, and the fact that it's so high is a testament to how fucking funny she can be.
[Podfic] To Build a Home We Deconstruct Our Rituals - It's @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels back to ruin our lives again.
Do you respond to comments?
I do! I fall behind sometimes, but I always catch up! 💃
What is the podfic fic you recorded wrote with the angstiest ending?
Pretty much everything I've ever podficced ends happily or with some sort of hopeful ending. I have to go with [Podfic] the nighttime fear (see it coming from the edge of the room) which was written by @extasiswings. It's a short introspective piece with no happy ending. I don't think there is another that ends unhappily for me to even consider, honestly.
What's the podfic fic you recorded wrote with the happiest ending?
LMAO! They're pretty much all end happily, as I just said.
Do you get hate on podfics fics?
No. Never.
Do you record write smut?
Oh yeah. I've recorded plenty. 😂
Craziest crossover?
I've only recorded one, and it wasn't crazy considering it was just a 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star crossover. It was [Podfic] These Are My Stompin' Grounds written by @benjaminrussell.
Have you ever had a podfic fic stolen?
Idek how this would be possible.
Have you ever had a podfic fic translated?
Why did Mads tag me in this game? NOT ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS CAN BE ANSWERED, MADS.
Have you co-recorded co-written a podfic fic before?
I've had people guest star, and I've participated in one multivoice podfic.
All time favorite ship?
Are you fucking kidding me? How am I supposed to choose? Probably Buddie, even though that feels wrong because it's not even my current hyperfixation. I've never created as much for another ship though.
What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
Oh, I'm gonna finish all my shit. Don't you worry.
What are your podficcing writing strengths?
Fuck. Idk? I think I have good pacing and emote really well. And my editing has improved tremendously over the years.
What are your podficcing writing weaknesses?
I'm hypercritical and tend to overedit at times. To the point that it sounds unnatural. I'll also just shove entire projects to the side if I don't meet my own standards, so there are quite a few things haunting me from the WIP folder atm.
Thoughts on dialogue in another language?
I've very rarely had to record in another language. Especially in the last few years. For my Mag7 podfics, there's a bit of Spanish and a small amount French, and they're kind of embarrassing for me to listen to. I've honestly considered taking them down, but I know there are people who enjoy them. So, I never do. There's a bit of Spanish in at least two of my early 9-1-1 podfics as well. I always try my best with it, but I only speak English, so I'm always super paranoid about fucking it up. I'll avoid recording entire fics just because there are other languages in them.
First fandom you podficced for wrote in?
The Magnificent Seven: 2016
Favorite podfic fic you've recorded written?
[Podfic] Carbon Date Me, Excavate Me written by @extasiswings and @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels is my fucking baby. I've listened to that fucking podfic so many times...
But my current favorite that I listen to regularly is [Podfic] nothing is safe written by @foxflowering which is my BG3 podfic. I have other BG3 projects in my WIP folder, but I'm so self-conscious about my ability to voice those characters that they're not coming out anytime soon. I was hyperfixated af on this ship for a while though and listened to this damn podfic on repeat. Also, @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels guest starred in it, so it has a special place. <3
Tagging, with all the pressure because I refuse to suffer alone: @blackestglass @mayonnaisetoffees @brasscacti @rhea314
And then some writers, who this is actually meant for: @theyarnmaidstale @queerbuckleys @honestlydarkprincess @peridotglimmer @gayhoediaz
@homerforsure @princessfbi @sibylsleaves @rewritetheending @fleurdebeton
@hazel-athena @buckactuallys @kitkatpancakestack @buckttommy @kittykatthetacodemon

The Best Panels of One Piece, Syrup Village (chapter 23-32)

Chapter 23:
Which are the best panels in One Piece?
Chapter 23 sees the introduction of Usopp, who… wow, remember when his nose and eyes used to be this small? Huh.
Most of the action is about introducing him and endearing him to the audience by showing us his shenanigans, all his comedy cowardice, his ridiculous lying, and his trusty crew of village kids who look up to him.
But it also hints a bit at the bravery that Usopp can display, when he stands his ground and lies to the Straw Hats, despite clearly being pretty scared. It shows us that Usopp is someone who, when backed into a corner, has the guts to at least go for something, to swing for the fences in desperation. And it's a trait that will save his life many times over the next 25 years.
But the best panel, I think, doesn't even have Usopp in it. It's right near the end, with Kaya in her mansion. It is a bright, airy, mostly pure white space with barely any shadows anywhere, which suits her as a frail, "pure hearted maiden" sort of character. And then in the background there is the stark, pure black shadow of Klahadore looming behind her. It's unsettling. He looks out of place and ominous, and that, kids, is good visual foreshadowing.
Chapter 24:
What are the best panels in One Piece?
In chapter 24 we get to meet the villain of this arc proper, Klahadore or spoiler alert Captain Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates, and the chapter is mostly about establishing his character, especially as a counterpoint to Usopp. Usopp is an honest man who presents himself as a liar, while Kuro is a liar presenting himself as an honest man. They make good foils for one another. This panel in particular is a great microcosm of the story - on the one side Usopp and all his friends, on the other Kuro, alone, and caught in between them Kaya, the person whose trust they're fighting over.
Speaking of, Kaya also gets a pretty good panel here, when she has her first outburst. See how Oda applies a fish eye lens, bending the window around her shouting, emphasizing it? It's just good technique. But no, the best panel is the punch. It's the first time we see the easygoing Usopp use violence, but it's also just a gorgeously dynamic shot, look at that foreshortening, and then the clever little trick of extending the line of his punch through the strap of his bag, it really emphasizes the motion, and it just looks great.
Chapter 25:
What are the best panels in One Piece?
Chapter 25 is one of those chapters that feels even darker in hindsight, opening with Kaya questioning Kuro about why he tries to isolate her from her friends, and why he keeps making her feel guilty about it. He then feeds her his fake sad backstory and turns it around that it's only because he cares about her SO MUCH, play-acting emotional anguish which gets Kaya to back off. It is the textbook dynamic of an abusive caretaker relationship.
That said it's not a chapter with any clear standout panels. Arguably it doesn't need any, it's not a bombastic chapter, nothing needs to be high impact. If I had to pick, I quite like this one where Zoro and Nami are sitting with the village kids, because of the way Zoro is sitting EXACTLY like the kids while Nami is up on the fence by contrast. It’s cute! But… y'know, although it's a bit flat, this panel of Usopp sitting on a cliff looking out over the ocean - the way his head rises just above the horizon line, that sense of how he's drawn to the sea… that's pretty good too.
Chapter 26:
What are the best panels in One Piece?
Chapter 26 opens with some awkward exposition, a classic "characters telling each other what they both already know" which is… efficient if inelegant. It gets Kuro's real motivation established quickly and sets the stakes, but it's a janky way to storytell. Oda does a visually clever little callback, repeating the exact same set of three panels for Usopp's now terrified truthtelling as when he told his prank lie and it's a bit funny because you can see Usopp's character design already changing a mere three chapters after his introduction.
It's another chapter without any strong standout panels, though, nothing that really rises above the rest. Usopp's terrified face when he realizes what Kuro is up to is good, as are his horrified reactions at Luffy's brashness, but if I had to pick… it's probably this one. It's not exceptional, but there's a subtlety of despair under the cartoony artstyle that comes through in the furrowed lines on his brows, the squeeze around the cheeks up under the eyes. If you look at it for a bit, you do feel his desperation.
Chapter 27:
What are the best panels in One Piece?
In chapter 27 the action finally kicks up. Usopp's fight with the guards at Kaya's mansion is a standout little sequence, Usopp diving out of the way of a gun while loading his slingshot and firing is dynamic as hell, albeit, jesus christ, they're pulling guns on a teenager pretty casually. What are these guys, American cops?
I also quite like this panel when Usopp realizes that he has no chance to convince anyone that he's finally telling the truth. The use of the screentone to literally have a shadow pass over him sells the feeling well, along with that raised face barely holding back the pain. This moment where he's hiding his injured arm from his friends and lying to keep them out of danger is also good. But the killer panel comes at the end, with Usopp holding up his bleeding arm and declaring that they can shoot him and chase him and hurt him, but he loves the village and will fight for it. It's the moment Usopp really becomes a hero. It's the moment he becomes a Straw Hat.
Chapter 28:
Chapter 29:
What are the best panels in One Piece?
Chapter 29 opens on a really strong panel, Usopp alone at the top of a hill facing down the Black Cat Pirates. It's a great dramatic opening, and a reminder that he was never ACTUALLY a coward, he just gets scared, and those aren't the same thing. This chapter has lots of fantastic action panels, like this shot of Usopp taking a blow to the head, or Nami saving Usopp and blocking that sword stroke - you can really see how overmatched she is from her posture and the way the staff is buckling.
But the best panel still goes to Usopp, clinging on to the belt of a pirate, dripping in blood and unwilling, even at the cost of his life, to let them go. He cuts, in this posture, both quite a pathetic but also a profoundly heroic figure. These are the sorts of moments that define the Straw Hats as heroes, and Usopp will have them more than once on the adventure.
Chapter 30:
Which are the best panels in One Piece?
Well, let's not mess about, in chapter 30 it is ABSOLUTELY the Gum Gum Gatling Gun. The sense of scale, the converging action, the way Oda hatches speedlines into the geometry of each hand to give it weight and momentum, while still making sure every line follows the action, it's just so good. The pirates who are the targets are tiny pinpricks against the overwhelming force of Luffy’s assault, one glance and you KNOW the kind of power he’s unleashing.
There are other good panels, like the follow-up where the entire panel is a chaos of sound effects and crashing bodies, all framing Luffy as the stable center, the literal last man standing. And the panel when the pirates get hypnotized and spring back to life has a lot of charm too - one of Oda's less talked about skills is how good he is at drawing a lively panel full of characters in compelling poses.
But yeah, no, it's Gum Gum Gatling Gun, god DAMN this panel is good. What a way to introduce a special move!
Chapter 31:
Which are the best panels in One Piece?
Chapter 31 sees Kaya finally discovering Captain Kuro's villainy, and one of the quite good panels in the chapter is the discovery of Merry's bloodied body: the body itself is in the foreground, rendered in rock-solid flat black, while the entire background is scratched and indistinct, drawing our eye to the shocking sight we're meant to focus on.
But I think the best panel is a quieter thing. One of the key traits of Kaya is that she's sickly, she's frail and vulnerable - the threat she's under is the source of dramatic tension for this entire arc. She's about to exert herself a lot, trying to save the village and her friends, so this chapter spends quite a bit of time establishing just how hard that is for her, how much she struggles to do what she's about to do.
And this panel, where she's hunched over, the sweat of fever drenching her body, idly clutching the blanket around her and her hair falling all over her face… yeah. That's what it's like, being sick and feeling alone. Clammy, clenched and claustrophobic. That's the posture of that kind of misery.
Chapter 32:
Which are the best panels in One Piece?
Ooh man I don't like the Nyanban Brothers. They're on the F-list of Oda's character designs, and their fight with Zoro just isn't very interesting. In fact the whole chapter is kind of mid when it comes to the art, if I'm honest. The Meowban's character designs don't lend themselves very well to dynamism, and some of these compositions really feel rather rushed. Which maybe they were! Working for Shonen Jump is a pretty relentless gig.
Regardless, it does mean the chapter is light on banger panels. Zoro's slash through Siam here gives him a gorgeous action posture, and the brothers do get ONE good, dynamic action panel when they smack Zoro to the ground here, but eeeh.
No, I think the best panel is more of a technical accomplishment. It's this one, of Zoro shouting angrily at Usopp for trying to interfere. It's shown from below Zoro's body, hunched over on the ground, using him to frame the people he's shouting at in the background, which is a genuinely INCREDIBLY clever way to show both his posture and the desperation of his situation, show visually who he's shouting at, AND communicate the geography of how far they are from each other, which is going to matter when Nami runs for his swords later. It's just very good use of composition.

*holds microphone to your face* miss kit, your brain is so interesting and amazing and i love everything it thinks of, so I have to ask *deep breath*….if, in a modern au/whatever-you-choose-au, how would you portray a Vader&Anakin duo? How obsessed would they both be with Obi-Wan? How would the old man handle getting the Skywalker attention x2? How dark would you make it or could you see it going in a more comedic direction? If in the GFFA universe, would they both be Obi-Wans Padawan (via loophole/bullshit-wxlapnation)? How much shit would they get up too? And finally….would be Obi-Wan be getting the double D? 😳
*yanks back mic* that’s all! Thank you for you input, and I’ll def be watching out for that body politic au 😉
(2/2) Whoops! Forgot to add the “Vader-no-crisp-version-just-a-twin note” 🙈😵💫
hm this is a great ask -and also thank you for the compliment!! so funnily enough 2 different fics/universes jump to mind, and neither are exactly what you're after, but both are close in different ways -
in the playmaker au, where undercover obi-wan is corrupted by mob boss anakin, anakin is written as having two personalities: anakin & vader, and in the ficlets, both names are used but not interchangeably. they're meant to reflect vaderkin's mind at whichever moment, so it's sort of like both vader and anakin are obsessed with obi-wan and he's getting a crazy amount of attention
but closer to what you're after is: 'if you love me let it remain unnamed', where for some hand-wavey reason, obi-wan and anakin from the gffa universe hop to a different universe where the jedi have fallen and there's an empress and a rebellion. they don't meet vader, but they do meet an older anakin skywalker who goes by the name set and is a smuggler, and for a few days, obi-wan has the undivided attentions of both his padawan who is in love with him and set who wants to fuck him
(spoiler alert, set fucks him. anakin also fucks him. it's a double d situation)
that fic ends with the gffa pair finding their way back to the correct galaxy (it's assumed at least) and set!anakin finding his own obi-wan in his galaxy!
and that's because i'm like a very weird writer/shipper where when i say i only ship obikin i mean i only ship them with each other's other part. i don't really read or have interest in writing a time traveling anakin story where he gets with old ben or a time traveling obi-wan story where he gets with a padawan anakin or something or an anakin from another dimension after his becomes vader. no one understands him like his anakin/his obi-wan understands him and they're a matched set!! idk how i would handle two anakins for one obi-wan in a scenario where it's not a temporary glitch but an actual long-term thing
#asks#im not writing off trying it or anything!!#but i genuinely dont know how i would really handle it#or how obi-wan would lol#but it was so fun writing the sex scene in if you love me#because set is trying to goad both of them into fucking#and anakin is trying to claw set's eyes out#while also relishing in fucking his master

Hugo's Dynamics with the Tangled Gang
I noticed that a lot of people think Hugo would be at odds with the rest of the Tangled team. Or even straight up disliked by them! But I don't think that would be so. Now keep in mind, these are just my headcannons. But I think this is how it would be. Also, just as a heads up, I prefer Varian and Hugo as really good friends as opposed to lovers. So I'll be using that AU instead. (EDIT: Fixed some Grammer mistakes.)
Rapunzel:
At first, Hugo finds Rapunzel's enthusiasm a bit off setting. But there's one thing that starts the friendship. They are both outgoing. They both like trying new things! And soon they're trying all kinds of things together. New restaurant? They'll check it out! Some sort of new traveling show passing through? Sign them up! Alchemy Convention? Heck yes!
I like to think Rapunzel likes teaching people to paint. And one day, Hugo ducks into her painting class to evade a ticked off Eugene. (Guess who was snooping through his cosmetics again? Lol!) Rapunzel convinces him to stay and help him paint a simple painting of maybe flowers and or his mouse Olivia. Hugo doesn't think he has much artistic talent. But Raps thinks it's adorable! And after that, Raps will give him art tips and lessons every once in a while.
Rapunzel also help him learn how to relax. Hugo can be a bit uptight. And she shows him how's okay to slow down and enjoy life. After a life of being on the run, Hugo needs that. Things like nice rests from the lab in the castle gardens or even just spending time together with the family, (I.e Varian and the rest.) are all on the agenda.
OH! One more thing they have in common! Being manipulated by someone they considered a mother figure. Hugo had Donella and Raps had Mother Gothal!
Eugene:
They don't like each other at first. They're still sore at each other about an old job they did together. Spoiler alert. It didn't work out great.
They are super competitive about all sorts of things. Like, ALL sorts of stuff! Who's got the best sneaking skills. The best sword fighting skills. Who's got better hair.😂 A lot.
And they are definitely competitive when it comes to Varian. Both want big brother privileges! But they don't seem to understand Varian loves them both equally. Eventually they come to an understanding and agree to share big brother duties for Varian's sake.
Their competitiveness does settle down a bit after a while. Eugene realizes the Hugo is actually not that bad. And Hugo realizes that the past is past and Eugene is a different person now. They still have banter. But it's not really ill natured. Just regular dude trash talking.
Cass:
I'm going with a friend on this one. INSTANT FRIENDS! Why you may ask? Let me explain.
They both can give a hard time to people they dislike. And you KNOW they'd gang up on Eugene.🤣 Between Cass's "Fitzjerk" nick name for him and gosh knows what nick names and insults Hugo can come up with, Eugene's in for a ride!
Weapons. WEAPONS WEAPONS WEAPONS! Knives are their favorite. They regularly show off their knife collections to each other. Hugo got really excited to see Cass's. She's got some really high quality knives!
Conversations like this.👉 (Rapunzel: Cass. You cannot take a sword to a ball. Cass: If Hugo can take his knives, I can take my sword. Varian: What?! Hugo: *Grins and somehow pulls three knives out of his sleeves* Rapunzel: No. Definitely not. Hugo: We don't have any fun. Do we Cass?)
I'm pretty sure the two of them have rather controversial views on the royals. And sometimes Varian joins them.
Lance:
Again, INSTANT FRIENDS!
They have all sorts in common! Flamboyant? Check! Love to be fabulous? Check! Still slightly has thief instincts? Check! Love to preform? Check! Drama queens kings? Definitely a big checkaroonie!
Also, I like to think they both have some abandonment issues and are both looking for parental support. Both went almost their whole lives without a good family so... Yeah. Support buddies!
And I think Hugo is inspired by Lance adopting Angry and Catalina. Giving kids the best life possible to make up for the horrible one you had? Yes please! Hugo probably decides to adopt a few of his own someday. And speaking of Angry and Catalina...
Angry and Catalina:
I imagine that when I come to these two, Varian is Catalina's favorite and Hugo is Angry's favorite. And vise versa.
Not saying Hugo doesn't like Catalina. She's very sweet. But Hugo's very... LOUD. In his demeanor and general presence. And a bit brash sometimes.
Because of this though, I think Angry would latch on eventually. Maybe not right away. Because this is Angry after all. But soon enough.
So that's all I got for now! Feel free to reblog and add your thoughts onto this!

IM not shutting up about the first half of "with friends like these" so CAMP CAMP SPOILER ALERT WEE WOO WEE WOO !!!!!!!!
While the second half was definately heart-warming and gives me a lot of hope for the future of the show, I'd also like to point out the first half and how its narrative reflects Max in season 1-2
So we see him overhearing the others complaining about the three of them but unlike Neil and Nikki, Max doesn't sweat too much over it. If anything, he's looking at the other two and making sure they're okay.
The next thing they do is go to the authority figures and try to see that someone did like them. While Neil and Nikki are both anxious Max is still calm, but he also asks for affirmation in a more roundabout way. (Nikki just screams do you like us? While Max says "who needs em, am I right gwen?"
The next phase was just giving into what others thought of them, but eventually it failing and the three feeling worse about themselves.
What happened after was isolating themselves. They assumed the problem was how everyone else saw them, because they tried to change and nothing happened. They assumed and accused things without talking about it and with such pointed questions, there was nothing anyone could say that could stop them from eventually running away
Then it was just the three of them. Alone. And obviously it didn't work out and just caused more infighting until they couldn't even have each other anymore yadda yadda you know the rest
Then when you apply that last stage to how max acts in season 1-2, we can assume what happened earlier
Max was either being bullied at school or maybe even belittled by his own parents, but when he tried to get some sort of love from them he was turned away or ignored.
Causing him to change and essentially becoming what people were bullying him for, only to receive more backlash. Eventually turning him into the Max that we see in season 1 and 2.
The result of this mindset of "not getting attached to people because it'll be worse when they leave you" then causes infighting between the three (in the season 2 Camp Corp finale) and eventually them talking it out and things getting better.
But because the mindset and not the CAUSE of said mindset is revealed or redeemed, maybe that's what's gonna happen in season 5?? Max's parents redemption arc???? Im delulu and need to theorise before I explode
#camp camp#camp camp max#camp camp theory#im so silly#im goofy even#i hate waiting for a new season#im going insane#i need more content now#delulu moment#theory#i hope its real#slightly hoping that maxs parents arent completely outcasted and maybe get redeemed

Rewatching Metalocalypse in between episodes of OFMD and had the most haunting/stupid idea for a conversation between Toki and Ed
Because, in this musician's au I've got going on (there's a whole post I didn't get finished last night about a new fic draft for this I'm working on, with Dethklok and Ed's band (it's just him, Izzy, Fang, Ivan, and anyone else who occasionally circles through but doesn't stick around lol.) ) there are a lot of nice weird little pockets to fit in conversations that flit v quickly between serious to funny to oh that shouldn't be funny probably but it is a bit
And this is one of them that I just love so much. They've both got issues re: parents and dads, and had a hand in their father's deaths like. There's no easy fic intro into a conversation that in every iteration in my head goes something like:
"So," Toki flops on the couch by Ed. "I killeds my dads."
Ed frowns, and sets aside the magazine Pickles insisted he take right when he walked in, as 'a guest in their home.' "Okay. That's one way to start a conversation. I'm gonna counter with what the actual fuck? Why would you ask me that?"
Toki's eyes go wide. "You toos? I thoughts I was the only ones!"
Ed stares at the wall ahead of them, noting the flecks of dried blood as Toki hugs him tight enough to hurt. "Uh. Yeah. Yeah, I did. Not really the sort of thing I like to...we should go find Izzy and Pickles and see how the kitchen tour is going. We're here to write a song with you guys anyway, so maybe if we just get up to go do that and never talk about our dads or anyone's dads ever again-"
"You gets me," Toki interrupts softly, giving his torso another squeeze. "How does you feel abouts cats?"
---
And so on and so forth of Toki and Ed getting to know each other better on a surprisingly sweet and vulnerable level (legit I think Ed would fucking love Toki's models. They could make model ships together!)then scene cutting into whatever the kitchen tour entails and whether or not I'd want to take a stab at creating actual lyrics for a fic (spoiler alert, probably not, because I usually wimp out on doing that out of fear they'll be The Worst lmao.)
However, aside from writing it in the necessary way to try and match similar beats of a scene for OFMD and Metalocalypse, there's just. So much underneath there if I were to dip more ooc and write it just. Full breakdown (or rather, not so much ooc as the 'what would it take for him to say that' version of things) of Ed admitting yeah, he did kill his dad, Toki turning into a velcro guitarist hugging him to death, but instead of a few lighter but still personal shared details in dialogue then scene cut to Pickles and Izzy and the kitchen tour (aka Pickles uses the microwave and the oven to make homemade edibles on rare occasions, so they're just discussing how best to decarb different forms of weed for edibles. The kitchen staff aren't allowed to start working until they leave, and would badly like them to fuck off anywhere else), we just. Have the conversation. As painful and awkward as it might be for two dudes who really only kind of know each other on a business/work level that's edging towards 'actual interest in the other person'/friends level.
Ed can tell how he strangled his abusive father to save himself and his mum from having to live under his thumb any longer; Toki can tell about slipping and sending his cancer-ridden abusive dad to an icy watery grave after having literally just said he was forgiving him for everything he had done. Insert a bit there from Toki about his conflicted feelings re: did his dad even register that Toki was forgiving him before he was frozen and dead? And does it matter either way, now that he'll never know how his dad would have reacted to that forgiveness?
Does it fix every issue they have with their dads? Absolutely not, it's one conversation, not years of much needed therapy. But they have a cry over it and admit that it's incredibly lonely to be in their specific situations with their parents like that, whether the killing was an out of necessity on purpose (Ed) or more accidental (Toki, though he murmurs to Ed, almost whispers, that he knew how slippery it would get as he climbed higher up that mountain with his father in his arms. He could have slowed down, tried to be mindful of the snow and ice packing the treads of his boots. And he just wanted it all to be over with, but not like that. Not how it actually happened.)
I know the ppl interested in this part of the au are minimal but I just. have so much that keeps randomly hitting me that I'm dying to share on the off chance anyone else is interested fdsakjfl
#text post#long post#this is just be blabbing abt musician au fic ideas#specifically dethklok and the ed izzy fang and ivan band section of it and even more specifically#ed and toki and them having a bond over dads and death and maybe models and cats too

Like, on the one hand it's very funny that both these series have basically the same ending (and opportunity for a new beginning), but I cannot stress enough for you how classic this trope is. I briefly considered listing off queer shows and movies with this trope, but it swiftly became me trying to remember every queer movie I've ever seen. Even "Big Eden" (2000) uses it and that is the most fluffy classic queer movie on existence.
In Big Eden, it helps the protagonist realize that the old crush he's been pursuing it's clouding his vision from noticing the guy who has a crush on him and is giving him increasingly elaborate home cooked meals for his sick dad every day backed by his gaggle of supportive old straight men who gossip all day on the general store bench. (Seriously you should watch this movie.)
Recently, Fire Island (2022), Bros (2022), Spoiler Alert (2022), Rūrangi (2020 - present) and The Boys In The Band (2020) all used breakups with the person they eventually get together with.
Queer media is all about exploring cycles and this is such a great way to get characters to reexamine what's important to them and what they truly want long term plus set real stakes for the relationship working out and no guarantees. It forces the characters to confront the old cycles they're trapped in and really ask if they want to put in the work and stand down their defenses to try something new that terrifies them.
There's comfort in the familiarity of the same old bullshit. You know what to expect, even if what you expect it's pain and lack of fulfillment. It's scary to try something totally new where you don't know what to expect. Where you might have to forgive someone and love them despite their flaws. Even love them for those flaws. Share each other's annoying vices even. The weed in Spoiler Alert ends up reflecting such a huge part of their arc and how they changed each other once they stopped being scared and lived for whatever moments were left.
So now here you have 2 shows about older queer men (sort of foot Aziraphale) who have been unable to hide their queerness their entire lives, but also have invested themselves as being good boys within those systems that reject queerness. And they're not kids working through this in their coming of age. They've spent half their lives denying themselves. Like, sure it hurts every day and it's slowly killing them and making them miserable bastards who push away the people that really love them, but they've also got a sunk cost fallacy in this. If they admit they've been wrong and there's no place in this system for their real selves, then they have to admit they've been wrong this whole time and all that pain was for nothing. Everything they put moral value all this time might be wrong and they'd have to trust their own flawed judgement instead of trusting a higher authority. (In Stede's case the rules of decorum for landed gentry inn colonial society, in Aziraphale's his faith in god.)
So they're on the edge of really making this monumental leap and they just panic. This moment means totally renouncing the life they've hurt themselves to make.
Stede goes home and realizes his mistake and gets not just permission but encouragement from the woman he felt he'd wronged the most. Then sets out to try and fix the mess he's made and get a second chance. I suspect he'll get it, but not before a lot of dramatics.
Aziraphale tries to give up heaven when he thinks he can only have it or Crowley. But when he's promised he can have both, have that acceptance he so desperately craves from Heaven and have Crowley, he jumps at that. Crowley did not. Season 3 or however the next part is released is going to be about Aziraphale trying to tempt Crowley too go back to heaven and Crowley trying to tempt Aziraphale to put it all behind him and be free.
Ultimately I think Aziraphale will get burned and realize Crowley is right. They can be like Beelzebub and Gabriel. This doesn't have to be black and white. It might be a little lonelier, but it's also much less toxic and oppressive and they have each other. That's worth fighting for.
But first, we get the classic queer breakup.
Neil Gaiman really saw the ending to our flag means death and went “hold my beer”

MC slaps the Boys ass!!!! What happens next?????
Scenario: Michael's decided to have Luke stay with him in the Celestial Realm for a few days, and so Solomon suggests that everyone meets up at the House of Purgatory for a game of truth or date. Of course, alcohol's involved, and soon everyone's a bit drunk, including MC. Solomon takes advantage of MC's tipsiness to dare them to go around and slap each of the men's asses as hard as they can with their hands.
I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I thought it would make things more interesting.
This borders on NSFW, so if that's not something you're not in the mood for, then you don't have to keep reading.
Unfortunately for Mammon, he's the first person whose ass MC slaps. As soon as their hand touches his butt, he yelps and runs out of the room, holding his bottom as he heads in the direction of the restroom. MC definitely slapped him harder than he was expecting, and as he composes himself in the bathroom, he vows to never have MC slap his ass again.
Next up is Levi. Like Mammon, he squeals, but unlike his brother, he doesn't run away but instead remains standing as he processes what just happened. The intensity of MC's slap does something to him, and his mind begins imagining a roleplay situation where MC dresses up like Lady Dimitrescu, ties him to his bed, and slaps his bare ass multiple times. This scenario makes his dick grow hard, for he's not only an otaku, but a kinky submissive (but only for MC).
Diavolo simply laughs when his ass gets slapped. This certainly is not his first rodeo, for he's been both the receiver and giver of ass slaps. He knows a few beings that can go harder, but he's also impressed by the sting that MC's hand leaves behind. "Not bad for a human," he thinks as he sits back down and MC eyes the next person. "Perhaps I can give them a few pointers."
Belphie's already bored as he stands up for MC. He wouldn't have dared them to do this, because he thinks it's pretty juvenile. Nevertheless, he cooperates for MC, and once MC's slapped his ass, he calmly sits back down. The reason that he doesn't react is because he doesn't want to give Solomon that sort of satisfaction. Besides, he knows that MC will allow him to get back at them later when they're alone.
Satan, on the other hand? To say that he's not pleased with this is an understatement. Doesn't Solomon know that he reacts negatively to people hitting him? He knows that MC's not responsible for the dare, so he stands up and waits for the inevitable. Once the deed is done, though, he storms out of the room, shifting to his demon form as he walks away. Solomon will pay for this later.
As the athlete of the family, Beel's used to getting his ass slapped by fellow teammates in the locker room as they're getting changed. Granted, they used towels and not their hands, but it's essentially the same thing. The sting that MC leaves behind is not any worse than that of a towel whip, and so Beel sits back down and continues eating his food.
The room grows silent as Lucifer stands up next. Everyone knows that he will lash out at someone if they do something he doesn't like, even when he appears slaphappy from being drunk. So, they're surprised when, instead of yelling at MC or leaving the room, he dares their darling human to hit him harder. Did the Avatar of Pride, infamous sadist, enjoy having MC slap his ass? (Spoiler alert: he totally did.)
Asmo thinks that he's got this in the bag. People slap his ass all the time; MC shouldn't be any different. Oh, is he humbled real quick. Once the deed is done, he appears frozen in place for a few seconds before he slowly walks away from everyone. No one's ever slapped him that hard, and he needs some time to process how a mere human managed that kind of strength. Does he like it? Does he not? Who knows? Certainly not him in this moment, that's for sure.
The thing about Barbatos that most of the group doesn't know is that he's used to a certain Demon Prince drunkenly slapping his ass. He doesn't know why the Young Lord does this, but he doesn't question him for doing it. Since he doesn't want to damage his master's reputation by letting this information slip, he lets the others assume that the reason he doesn't react to MC's slap is because he's always in butler mode and can't entirely relax, even when he is under the influence of alcohol.
The idea of someone slapping his ass is completely foreign to Simeon, since that just isn't something angels do in the Celestial Realm. He is curious about the sensation, so he goes along with the dare, not wanting to upset anybody by chickening out. When MC brings their hand down, he finds the experience not entirely unpleasant, but he isn't sure if he wants to repeat it again. He smiles at MC as he sits back down, mulling over what just happened in his mind.
Finally, there's Solomon. MC makes sure to slap him the hardest as payback for making them do this stupid dare, and they make him momentarily lose his balance. The group laughs as he turns around and marvels at MC's ability. He knows that they're not exactly happy with him, but he also wouldn't mind if they did it again to him sometime in the future.

give me a moment to dump all my sort-of abandoned wip ideas here (my incomplete fic collection is sobbing with how much im using it as a crutch) Assclass collection
- Gakushuu and Gakuhou both die (the OG idea is to have them kill each other in a freak accident lmao) but turn into ghosts because of some antimatter mechanic i'll figure out. Only 3E can see them because they are also exposed to antimatter etc etc. Through investigation they find out that to move on to the afterlife, the two have to fulfil their unfinished business. 3E tries to help them. but when korosensei dies the lingering effects of the antimatter starts fading and the pair's presence grows weaker so there's a greater urgency to help them fulfil it. Gakushuu absolutely refuses to say what his last wish is. Gakuhou reveals that his unfinished business is just to make his son happy (lmao), and Gakushuu is just so resigned that he says he's happy and it works. (less so because Shuu is actually happy (he isn't), but more so because Hou is just so desperate to want to think he's not a failure of a father that he just latches onto any last bit of validation.) Meanwhile time ticks for Gakushuu and everyone is afraid that he'll vanish from sight forever, not having moved on. Shuu finally reveals that his last wish is to believe that Gakubou actually cared about him. Nothing - going through old photo albums, ghost therapy, trying to talk about it - works, because Gakushuu's already fallen into acceptance that his father never loved him. He grows dimmer as everyone tries to convince him. Finally he admits that maybe he doesn't need to care about what Gakuhoi ever thought of him, because 3E obviously care about him. The next day, he vanishes. It's unclear whether he managed to finally move on, or if the last bits of antimatter finally dissipated into nothingness and left him a silent, wandering ghost forever. We never find out. I have like 2 and a half chapters written for this one but it's literally just 1. they're dead 2. oh they're ghosts now
- DnD/Fantasy esque AU where an adventuring party (Gakushuu, Kayano, Karma, Nagisa, Manami) (@skyestar7703 's Constant gang!) are gallivanting around the world. Background lore is that the world was once ruled by gods but they all vanished one day for no reason. The reason is because there's a war. It's eventually revealed that Shuu is the son of a god and he's picked a party to follow to try and get them strong enough to eventually kill one of the main instigators of the god-war. Spoiler alert that's his dad. The Virtuosos are here too but they exist as Shuu's previous party who failed but are all things considered still pretty strong in themselves, so they join up eventually. The main starting quest that the gang start with is going to rescue Kayano's sister (Aguri) from her captor (Yanagisawa), only to awaken an old god who's been sleeping all this while (Korosensei). Unluckily for them, he's got to slowly wake up his power and before that he's very squishy. Luckily for them, he'll eventually be super strong and on their side. Luckily for Gakushuu, Korosensei went to sleep long before he was ever born so he doesn't recognize him (yet) (although he keeps squinting and saying things like "hey you look familiar".) That's pretty much all I have for this. It exists as a lingering thought in my head. I don't have the ability to capture exactly what I'm envisioning for this. Gakuhou spears Gakushuu at one point because he knows his quasi-immortal kid can't die from a single sword through the stomach. Gakushuu knows he won't die but it still hurts, dammit
- A weird aged down (?) AU where Gakushuu is like a tiny kid when canon happens. This is significant because the story starts 10 years after that. Nothing else has changed about canon. Gakuhou has vanished mysteriously, so Gakushuu (aged 15) goes snooping and starts digging up the mystery of Kunugigaoka. He starts a hunt for his father by going through every single one of the now adult 3E students who all have no idea where Gakuhou went and all remark that he's a lot like his father. Karasuma and Irina become his babysitters for the event and trail after him as they also try to find where Gakuhou went. No I don't have an idea about where he went. This fic has only manifested because of this line:
"if you've found this letter, it means you've gone snooping through my stuff-" wow, rude.
That's all I can remember for now

J2 are cute together and their chemistry is off the charts. However, I would never tinhat if it wasn't for the inconsistencies in their stories. IF they were just two best bros, there would be no need for the PR cover ups, therefore, there would be no slip ups. They could've just behaved like friends do. Wild idea, right? Maybe fans would still speculate but sooner or later they'd get used to J2 being affectionate buddies. Why try so hard if they're not together? What's there to hide?
EXACTLY ANON EXACTLY! There’s no denying that J2 have loads of chemistry. Supernatural ran so long because of it, the first episode-pilot when it was filmed, they immediately clicked, and everyone who has met them/watched them have said they have tons and tons of chemistry, like genuine actual chemistry and- The OmegaVerse was formed BECAUSE of J2′s chemistry!!! There’s no denying that part
Second the inconsistencies and slip ups and things that have happened. Lord if i started a list it would never end- but i’ll mention some of the most basic ones:
The Italy Date slip up <3, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM-3ZKiItF4
Jared forgetting the specifics of his dating timeline, he mentioned in his Live With Kelly interview that he was single when he started Supernatural when he was actually dating Sandy then and had been for a while, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jwMN3nvZmE starts at around 4:25
the classic 2011 LA Con moment where Jensen blatantly insinuated he was sleeping with Jared, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKV1VkODR_w starts at 0:50 ish
the war that Danneel got into with gossip column writer Ted Casablanca when he said that Danneel and Jensen’s marriage might be fake, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWIfAOftcwk her interview with him and:
Gossip columnist Ted Casablanca once pretty much accused Danneel of her relationship with Jensen being fake. Previously to that spat, he had also written an article in response to double engagement rumors saying that “Jensen and Jared would sooner marry each other than who they’re currently rumored to be getting hitched to. If I’m wrong I’ll get Taryn Ryder a date with Ryan Gosling.” Years ago, Danneel got into a Twitter war with a Gossip Columnist named Ted Casablanca who used to work for E! when he publicly suggested that her relationship with Jensen was fake and basically that Jensen’s gay. The two of them argued back and forth and after the argument she disappeared from Twitter for a long while. Clearly embarrassed that she had just shown a huge light on a topic she and Jensen didn’t want discussed so publicly with someone who was so well-known in the celebrity gossip entertainment business in Hollywood.
the time Sandra favorited a tweet which called her a beard, this is a well known tinhat fact.
the time Jared liked an instagram post which mocked his wife, https://jaredandjensendaily.tumblr.com/post/154473801354/friendly-reminder-16-another-reminder-that
Jensen slipping up and almost saying he had ‘kids’ before moving to Austin when he only had JJ, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOkH2BChDZg starts at 0:24
the time Genevieve slipped up and used the words contract and negotiation while talk about her and Jared’s relationship, the video off of yt was deletedbut here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CMhc4UfBJt1/
Richard Lawson, film critic from Vanity Fair saying he heard from a source that the j’s were together, https://jaredandjensendaily.tumblr.com/post/152089621134/friendly-reminder-13-just-a-beautiful-reminder
the way Jensen’s proposal to Danneel was a complete replica of Jared’s proposal to Sandy, AND the way they proposed on the same weekend- the only thing different was the location, they both had taken their wives(or in jared’s case ex-fiancé) out, had wanted to propose but got nervous, the girls had asked what was wrong and they chickened out and proposed in the hotel room instead.
Speaking of the engagements, nearly everything about them was highly suspicious. Both occurred on the same weekend under the guise that each J had no idea the other was proposing, despite having said multiple times that they tell each other everything and showing that to be true through their actions as well. When asked on the spot what his proposal story was, Jensen retold the exact proposal story that had taken place a year earlier with Jared and Sandy, changing only the location.
THE MORTGAGE, THE HOUSE THEY TWO SHARED IN THE BEGINNING OF SPN- THE INCONSISTENCIES WITH THAT ONE WAS OFF THE CHARTS, https://jaredandjensendaily.tumblr.com/post/141213737219/friendly-reminder-3 and https://marrieddorks.tumblr.com/post/114910899842/j2-living-together
the most recent inconsistency! in the j2 panel, jared slipped up when talking about jackles’s birthday, saying ‘’i was with...on your birthday(he stops as if remembering himself then yells:) HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACKLES!’’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwXbSC-UWGs around 6:15
and then in the same panel: Jensen shows us a picture he sent to Jared which was supposed to be bear updates bc he’s growing his(GOD THEY DO BEARD UPDATES THE FUCKING CUTIES I CANT) and JENSEN IS SHIRTLESS??? IN THE PICTURE??? SCUSE ME??? also Jared editied it to WAP. God. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwXbSC-UWGs starts at around 44:40
the amount of times j2 have been seen together IN VANCOUVER ONLY DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY’RE ON HIATUS AND SHOULD BE WITH THEIR WIVES??? (the entirety of 2015)
and the fact that they’ve been on so many vacations and trips without anyone else :)
or the way when one of them is narrating a story, the other knows exactly what happened as if they were there,
AND THE TOUCHING GOD THE TOUCHING THEY’RE SO AFFECTIONATE. https://www.tumblr.com/tagged/j2+touching?sort=recent
Now the PR cover ups. You’re right anon if they were two best buds just doing their thing, why would they try so hard to cover up and hide stuff? Why would PR immediately make j2 wife posts(AND THEY DO IT A LOT) immediately after someone or the other would post a theory about them that would be hit amongst tinhatters or find a fact or a photo that would imply/prove j2 are together? Why would the j’s themselves stumble over stuff that would be suspicious?(that moment when someone at a convention yelled ‘’Because you like like each other?” and instead of brushing it off, j2 delved deep and then they got all flustered and it was a huge thing basically). Why would they not just behave like normal friends who have absolutely nothing to hide???
spoiler alert: because they’re together kjdkjdjsf.

Here's a few details that I can share on Mistress Of The Web, since I haven't fully worked out the story but these give a good idea on what I'm going for:
• More so than the previous entries in the Riordan-Verse which is really saying something, the book will have an incredibly dark and intense edge to it that shows the immense danger that the two leads, Annabeth and Arachne, are in especially since the former is all on her own this time. A pitch perfect example is that when Annabeth first discovers Arachne in her encased cement tomb, she accidentally trips and ends up coming nose to nose with the latter. Screaming in horror, she gets up as it completely cracks and as soon as she does, it entirely breaks away and releases a furious Arachne who instantly knows and recognizes Annabeth and replies through gritted teeth, "You!".
• Another pitch perfect example is [SPOILER ALERT] the ending of the book. The two of them manage to singlehandedly defeat the 80 meter tall and 262 foot colossal bronze statue monster Talos but as he's drying and dying at the same time, Annabeth ironically ends up tearing up her achilles and Arachne, having formed an unlikely but strong mother-daughter bond and relationship, goes back to save her but once she reaches her, it's too late as Talos falls over and a horrified Annabeth and Arachne, looking up together, are completely crushed and kill by his remains. It's here that they find themselves in the afterlife where they encounter Death himself and both of them end up making a deal with him, he will give them a second chance at life but if either of them ever set one foot on the islands of Greece than their souls will be his forever. They accept but as a permanent reminder of their deal, both Annabeth and Arachne have cross shaped scars burned into their backs.
• Of course, the main and most important aspect of the whole story is the aforementioned relationship between Annabeth and Arachne. At first, they're enemies with the latter kidnapping the former and holding her hostage against her will, using her for her own personal gain and selfish reasons and even psychically abuses her, sadistically taunting her with her arachnophobia and when she sent her spiders to terrorize her as a kid for three nights in a row. But it's over the course of the story that the two of them begin to develop a bond of sorts with Arachne not only becoming more and more impressed with Annabeth's skills but also starts seeing herself when she was a kid and teenager in Ancient Greece to where she shockingly realizes she is EXACTLY like who she was once long ago before she became a weaver and met Annabeth's mother Athena while Annabeth herself begins to see Arachne more and more as a tragic figure with more and more of her past, unbeknownst to many outside of what they do know about her story, discovered by Annabeth. Through the most unlikeliest and unexpected of odds, the two of them end up becoming a sort-of mother and daughter to each other with Arachne being the one who gives Annabeth a warm and caring motherly love she never had growing up and Annabeth being the one that gives back Arachne's humanity that for the longest time she never knew she still had deep within her.
• The story itself will be absolutely ruthless to both Annabeth and Arachne, putting them up against impossible odds that they have to work together to overcome so they can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. But when they do finally see the aforementioned light, it ends up leading to what may very well be the most talked about moment in the whole Riordan-Verse. After they agree to Death's deal, both of them are separately sent back to Earth right then and there before both can even blink with Annabeth finding herself back at home on the front porch. Mrs. Chase, relieved to see her step-daughter once she enters, immediately demands to know where she was, only for a tearful Annabeth to instantly hug her with her step-mother comforting her back and telling her "It's okay, sweetie. It's okay". Later, when Annabeth opens the door to her bedroom for the night, she's shocked to find Arachne there, standing on all her legs and waiting for her all this time. The two have a genuine heart to heart with each other with Arachne, in tears, apologizing to Annabeth for everything that she's put her through with Annabeth, even to her surprise, forgives her. Annabeth tells Arachne to stay which the latter accepts, the two lie down together in the former's bed which has never felt more comforting as it is now than ever before and in the last lines of the book, it's directly implied..... that Annabeth and Arachne both kiss and have sex. "The only thing that felt more warm than her body was her lips on mine when ours touched each other and her right hand down the front of my shorts".
• Lastly, something less insane, the book will heavily imply a retroactive shared universe with other media. Through objects that Death has collected over the centuries, objects from certain events are seen. The Mummy (1999), The Good, The Bad, The Weird (2008) and Overlord (2018) will become part of the Riordan-Verse.
[POTENTIAL IDEA]
Mistress Of The Web
What is it —
A new installment in the Riordan-Verse that is a Percy Jackson spin-off focusing on Annabeth Chase as she's first kidnapped by then forced to team up with a resurrected Arachne who becomes a full blown anti-hero.

I've decided to just yeet all my original blorbos into the void, here u go~ This art is about...a year old now WOWEE.
INFO ABOUT EACH UNDER THE CUT
So names/pronouns for each, from left to right: Koryn Dunn (they/them), Sam (he/they) (no last name yet), and Mando Hubband (he/they) (no full name yet)
Koryn Dunn is a ship mechanic from a currently unnamed planet in the far Outer Rim (might as well be Wild Space) who ran from home when they were 16-17. Being a stowaway is never a smart idea - it's an even less smart idea when the ship you hitch a ride on belongs to a renowned Pirate Queen who's name strikes fear into the darkest crime rings/families. But said Queen took one look at Koryn and Galena Mooncaller knew that the life of 'honorable crime' she'd been leading had to come to an end soon. Unfortunately for both Galena and Koryn and their inner circle of friends/chosen family, that choice to leave behind a life of crime wasn't made soon enough, and many of them still bear the scars to this day. Koryn and Galena took on contracts as auxiliary mechanics in the GAR, and in canon Koryn is the designated auxiliary mechanic for Pit Squadron. They're fast friends with Riggs, the demo expert, and JB, the heavy gunner. Their terrible trio make it a point to add more gray hair to Tock's head every day. Time will tell if Koryn is going to make it out of this war alive! (Spoiler Alert: they do.) Next is Sam. Sam was being kept as collateral against the Dathomirian zabrak known as the Night Sisters - but eventually, his life wasn't worth their effort by the Sisters. So Galena was just sort of keeping the kid around until she found a safe enough space port to drop him off and wash her hands of the whole affair. Then came along Koryn. And the two were friends immediately. Sam is two years younger than Koryn, but quickly became the protective 'leader' of their duo. Galena couldn't bear to see these two split up, or left alone in the universe for said universe to pick them apart, so kept them around. Eventually, Sam would also suffer the consequences of Galena's life of crime catching up with her. He currently lives in complete isolation due to an illness that has very nearly made one of his hearts go necrotic, and threatens to do the same to the other. But he makes a life for himself by making cutting-edge prosthetics that can simulate a sense of touch that's almost the same as the real thing. He's been working on an arm for Koryn for the better part of four years now, and since Koryn can't catch diseases easily, they're usually the only one able to see him. The two like to make a game of being disgustingly flirtatious with each other to make people who don't know their dynamic uncomfortable. They're awful and Galena blames all of her gray hairs on the two. Unnamed Mando Hubband - is an unnamed Nautolan with a very foggy past. But what is known is that he was one of the Mandalorian bounty hunters chosen by Jango Fett to help train the clone army. Specifically suberfuge and spying - thus even his existence was kept very hush-hush by the Kaminoans. But before that, he had quite a few run-ins with Queen Mooncaller. Like, a lot of them. Enough that Galena has a lot of connections she keeps up with a network of Mandalorian bounty hunters - enough to potentially make a full clan. But those are just rumors, of course. There's also a rumor that Mando Hubband trained a squad of Republic Commandos who have an auxiliary mechanic and pilot who has a lot of stories about a certain Pirate Queen. (Yes, Galena and Mando Hubband pulled some strings and got Galena the job - purely because Mando Hubband was worried for his boys and only trusts Galena or himself to keep an eye on them.) Someday, Mando Hubband will have a name! Him and Galena are very much in love and go months, sometimes years not seeing each other - but when they do see each other, it's shocking to many that they have a good relationship. They bicker a lot.

PERKS OF DATING A YOUNGER GUY I LEARNED AFTER WATCHING CHINESE DRAMA FIND YOURSELF + REVIEW!
1. He has less baggage
This means that he has more time to attend to your needs and wants unlike an older guy with a demanding schedule and lots of responsibilities at hand.
2. He's more open-minded and adventurous
They are open to having new experiences and won't judge you for veering off the path you should stay on.
3. He's infectiously energetic *ehem*
Need I say more? A younger guy's youthful sense will surely find unimaginable ways to impress you!
4. He puts you on a pedestal
A younger man will appreciate your maturity and experiences and will admire you for it. They're also most likely take advice from you without letting it bruise their ego.
5. He'll make you feel young
Be prepared to relive the fun parts of your younger years with him.
It's not so wrong to say that the May-December relationship is taboo, especially among Asians. Most people I know had this inkling that when a younger guy hooks up with a woman way older than him, it could prolly mean one of two things — the guy's a paramour or she's a sugar momma. I'm honestly not a fan of it either on the premise that women mature faster than men. Let's be real, an immature relationship is a disaster. But now that I'm in my late 20s, and a hopeless romantic single at that, I kinda pondered over this. It suddenly occurred to me, what if one day I’m caught up in the position of being pursued by a younger man? Will I let the stigma affect me emotionally? Or will I take the risk ‘coz all is fair in love? I still don’t have a definite answer to this question. However, watching Find Yourself served as an eye-opener for me to look at things from a different perspective.
Find Yourself is a 2020 Chinese drama starring Song Wei Long and Victoria Song. It tells the story of a 32-year old Executive Director who never *even once* experienced dating. Given her age and career stability, she receives constant pressure from the people around her to find someone to marry and has since frequented blind dates arranged by her family, friends, or colleagues. But this girl is just someone who swears by the "spark" - no spark, then no point to the relationship. She may be old for fantasizing over first love and such, but she still yearns that it'll naturally come to find her someday. Until her thirst for real romance is quenched by a 22-year-old guy who started working as an intern in her company at his brother’s request.
Although hesitant at first due to their huge age difference and the societal views, she went out with him on the condition that they'll keep it a secret for the first 3 months. If everything went well, she agrees to publicize her relationship with him.
Let’s start off with the good things...
I just can't with this drama...! This so beautiful, cute, relatable - especially for a woman in late 20s like me.
Plot-wise, it was well-imparted and makes perfect sense, touching a looooooot of relationship aspects in 41 episodes. Not only did I enjoy the happenings between our main couple, but our side couples' stories are very interesting too.
This drama pretty much straightened out my prejudice about age-gap relationships.
Light-hearted, just the way I like it! Every episode will make you smile and/or laugh hard.
Sexual tensions overload and superb kissing scenes! Let those hormones rush in. Not awkward to watch 'coz They. Did. Not. Hold. Back. Ack! If you're single, be prepared to feel MORE SINGLE watching this drama.
Well-written lines that will make you feel real emotions. The words will shoot you straight to the heart.
Acting-wise, the casts, from the mains down to the sides, did a super fine job in conveying the sentiments of their characters. My highest admiration goes to male lead Yuan Song, not (only) because he’s young, hot, and handsome, but because his youthful vibe made me reminisce the paradox of my early 20s awww. Anyways, in the beginning, I am sort of confused why (of all girls) he fell head over heels with our female lead He Fanxing who's obviously out of his league. I even suspected him of taking advantage of her naivety in matters of the heart. But as the drama went along, our dude proved himself genuine... That he's sincerely just a guy who's deeply in love with a woman... That indeed, true love can exist in this kind of relationship. Both Yuan Song and Fanxing emotionally benefited from each other and it's so lovely seeing that.
⚠️ AND SORRY BUT THIS IS A SPOILER ALERT⚠️
Halfway through the drama, our main couple called it quits. I'm somewhat grateful that it happened. Their break-up scene is just so powerful I had to rewind it many times. Not because I liked seeing them suffer from the consequences of their incompatibility. Rather, I loved it 'coz it became the turning point of their relationship.
Their love is premature, to begin with — trust isn't mutual, commitment is one-way, only showing each other's good sides in fear of the relationship turning sour, one is willing to compromise while the other wants to avoid responsibility, filled with doubts and insecurities. During this break-up phase, we were shown the difference between how kids and adults behave and decide in a dilemma. I suddenly remembered this one line delivered in the drama which I agree with — "Only kids would choose one or the other. Adults find solutions". The break-up also served as our main couple's period of contemplation about who and what they want in life. It taught them how to fully embrace their offbeat romance against the norms. Fortunately, things wrapped up into a sweet end.
And of course the bad...
Hmmm... Maybe I'm just not used to it but am I the only one who thinks that this drama is quite lengthy? Yes, I enjoyed it but it's not a good one to binge-watch. It took me almost a month to finish this I nearly drowned haha. Honestly, there were parts they could've just compressed instead of dragging it for too long. One example is Ye Luming and He Fanxing's relationship trial. Ooohhh I hate this part it brought shivers down my spine ugh. Well truth be told, Luming and Fanxing are compatible and better off as friends. They jive so well, and I give it to them that they're both adults who can only understand adult things.
But when Luming all of a sudden became a sneaky character to an intolerable point... Ah, I don't know anymore! Seeing how compelled Fanxing is to being Luming's girlfriend got under my skin. Although these ugly parts eventually became a good contributory factor to Fanxing's realization of her true feelings towards Yuan Song, but still...! I also hated Fanxing at one point for being so gullible in love. But yeah, I had to swallow it because that's her character setup in the first place. It should be expected of her to be hasty and dubious about it.
On the other hand, I wished they've been generous in showing us more about how Yuan Song and Fanxing's relationship is going after the public reveal. I've been waiting for this the entire time (they could've done so much more in 41 episodes' length!) so I'm quite disappointed.
After watching the second season of Well-Intended Love, I admit I lost interest in Chinese dramas. So watching this restored my faith in them. I even have a list of C-dramas lined up now! But I have to move on from this one first before I start another. It's not as easy as I thought ㅠㅠ
What do you think about this drama? Are we on the same frequency? ❤️
If you haven't watched this yet, watch it now. As in 지금부터 RIGHT NOW. Highly-recommended!
